Claire is an amazing partner to have on your wedding day! She took the time to connect with us to learn more about our ourselves, our family, and what we were looking to focus on for our wedding ceremony.
As a blended family, it was very important to include our daughter in our ceremony and vows. Claire took the time to understand more about our daughter and what we wanted to cover in the ceremony. She provided us with many options in the ceremony and worked with us to refine it so it would fit our family.
Everyone at our ceremony mentioned to us how touching and intimate the ceremony was, as well as how wonderful Claire is. She spent some time after the ceremony with us and our guests. She's super funny, willing to roll with the punches, and brings a true sense of love in bringing together us as a couple and a family. Thank you Claire! - Kristen and Craig -

Claire officiated my wife and I's wedding and she was such a delight to work with. She wrote us the perfect ceremony and officiated it better than we could have hoped. She was such a warm, friendly presence for every part of it and made sure everything went so smoothly for us. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant and I would highly recommend Claire to anyone and everyone. -

Claire brought sunshine and warmth to our wedding day
To be honest, I was overtaken with emotion seeing my soulmate eager to commit to a lifetime with me, and I ugly-cried during the entire ceremony. Despite my tears, Claire managed to keep the vibe light and warm with her exceptional delivery.
Neither my husband nor I had any clue what we wanted in a ceremony, and she put forward suggestions that felt tailor-made for our personalities and relationship story. Her ability to balance emotion with humor made our wedding ceremony truly special. She even made sure to include my stepson! She was incredibly professional and flexible when we threw last-minute changes at her (he decided he didn't want to read 15 minutes before the ceremony).
If you are getting married in Maine and you do not choose to have Savoir Claire officiate your ceremony, you are doing it wrong! I suggest booking right away. -

It was an absolute delight to work with Claire! In addition to being easy to communicate with, she just exudes enthusiasm and genuine support. The ceremony was beautifully written and fit our setting perfectly. She encouraged feedback, but her first draft was so perfect we left it nearly untouched. You will not find an officiant who cares more about their couples than Claire! -

I can't put into words how WONDERFUL our 40th renewal ceremony was; thanks to Claire! She is the BEST! We would recommend her to anyone for any event! From the very beginning, she makes you feel so comfortable! She is truly a professional, yet feels like we will now be life long friends! We seriously can't imagine it with someone else. Love her and how she listened! We were going to do our own vows, but her suggestions were better! It was AMAZING how she seemed to just "know" us! She is sweet (and funny) and delivered PERFECTION+ for this very special occasion!

Absolutely Incredible. Savior Claire is a literal Angel!
My husband and I could not have had a more perfect officiant for our wedding. Claire is truly a beam of shining light. Her genuine personality captured the attention of all our friends and family who attended our wedding.
I have been a wedding photographer for 7+ years, so needless to say I have been to A LOT of weddings. I first met Claire in 2018 when she officiated a wedding I was photographing for. From that day forward, i knew whenever it was my time to get married, she would be the one that I called. Jump to 2020 and I got engaged and calling her was the top of my to-do list.
Claire is everything you want a person to be: loving, caring, passionate, patient, empathetic… the list goes on and on. One thing I love most about Claire is that she brings a certain kind of calmness to the room. She makes everyone feel at ease and also makes everyone feel endless love and joy,

Claire was absolutely amazing! She is so friendly, lively, and funny. Claire was able to create a beautiful and unique ceremony for us on our special day. My husband and I got married September 24th and Claire was our officiant. It’s safe to say Claire was one of our easiest decisions as a couple to make for our special day. We first met Claire through The Knot. There was something about her profile that really spoke to me, and she was funny. Dale and I Zoomed with her; we all hit it off and created a plan. A plan that we changed about three weeks before (and note that none of this was long-ago planned....likely less than two months from meeting Claire to getting married! We shifted the location and hoped Claire could shift the time up just a titch. Which she was so flexible in doing. When we hugged her when she walked it, it felt like she was family. She was heaven sent to marry us! The sunset, the harvest moon all contributed to just a beautiful ceremony on the ocean at Old Orchard Beach. And Claire beamed through it all, just as Dale and I are still beaming today. She promises to see how we are doing up ahead; I believe her. We cannot wait to share our comings and goings with her. She IS family. -

She was always responsive, listened to us, asked us great questions, and kept us on track to make sure everything was ready to go exactly how we wanted it on the day of our wedding. She helped us create a ceremony that felt like it was truly us, and we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. During the ceremony, Claire is a pro at balancing humor and lightheartedness with the reverence and importance of the occasion. She helped us feel at ease and created a great rapport with our guests--we had friends and family who told us it was the best ceremony they'd seen and wanted Claire to stay and party with them at the reception. Claire is simply the best!
My soon to be wife tasked me with finding an officiant for our wedding. Being a typical gentleman, I procrastinated until September for our November wedding. I came across Claire’s profile on wedding wire and was immediately impressed with her excellent feedback, I reached out. Claire was the first vendor to respond and we exchanged emails a few times that day. We were blessed that Claire had our date open and immediately put our minds (my wife’s mind) at ease. We had a few meet and greets prior to the wedding, each meeting felt like a long lost friend who truly cared about our special day sharing laughs and stories. Fast forward to wedding day, Claire was able to keep 7 groomsmen tame for about an hour and 45 minutes as hair and make up took a little longer than excepted. Due to our later start time for the ceremony, Claire did a fantastic job ad libbing in front of 160 of our attendants to put everyone’s mind at ease that the bride was in fact still coming. We could not envision our wedding without Claire and will be forever grateful! We now consider Claire a friend and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a caring and professional officiant.

Absolutely Amazing!
We saw Claire officiate our friends' wedding in 2018 and instantly knew that we had to hire her! It was the best wedding ceremony we had ever attended, and our ceremony was no different. From start to finish, Claire was wonderful, transparent and communicative throughout the entire process. She is a kind person who truly cares about her couples and does everything in her power to make your day special. She worked hard to help us build a thoughtful ceremony, and we received many compliments from our guests. Claire stuck with us for 2+ years through the pandemic, a change of venue and a change of date. She also has a wonderful sense of humor that really helped keep things light through all of the ups and downs of pandemic wedding planning. We highly recommend Claire to any couple looking for an amazing ceremony! -

I waited until the very last second almost to hire an officiant for our wedding (big no no) Claire didn't make me feel bad about that, she knew how much having a professional officiant was to me for our wedding and wanted to help. She was flexible, and so optimistic. She literally saved our day! Our ceremony was not cookie cutter, she read beautiful poems, and readings, and gave us the most perfect modern intimate ceremony. I can’t say enough
Everything. Claire is a caring person who loves what she does and it comes through when she speaks. She’s willing to bend and weave with whatever your feeling towards your ceremony. She’s helpful, smart, and has a great sense of who she’s talking to when she meets you. She’s very attentive to details. She helped us with any advice we needed every step of the way. Thankfully we found her. Simply put she is a godsend. -

My Covid-19 Support
Claire was absolutely fantastic! In the midst of Covid-19 and all the government regulations, she worked with us to get married. We ended up having to cancel our actual wedding ceremony, and instead she married us in her backyard (maintaining the 6 feet of course) with her husband and my best friend being the witnesses! I can't recommend her enough! If my now husband and I do have the actually ceremony, she's promised to be there in a heartbeat for us. Not many people would do that... She is extremely caring and the perfect officiant. -

Our first meeting with Claire was at a new coffee shop in downtown Portland. Originally the meeting was supposed to be a quick meet and greet but we all got along so well that we spent a couple of hours there. Claire made us feel comfortable, excited for the future, and confident that she was the right officiant for our elopement. It felt like we knew her our whole lives. She was wonderful with our families and friends, she was quick with documentation, and she took care of every little last detail. We would recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

Claire is *the* best.
Claire is warm, bubbly, funny, dependable, and goes the extra mile. She is everything you could want from an officiant and more. I am so glad that she officiated our wedding. Leading up to the wedding communication was great and, despite us being out of state, she made us feel like she was right there with us. On the day of the rehearsal and wedding day, she made everything easier and was a zen angel. And by the end of the wedding, she felt like family. I can't recommend her enough. -

I found Claire online since my husband and I don’t live in Maine. She was so easy to work with and was very helpful in making our ceremony exactly how we wanted it. Wow, just wow! Claire was absolutely unbelievable. We contacted her for our wedding in Maine and since we are living in Colorado she facetimed us and she immediately just ~got~ us. She went through so many different versions of the ceremony with us and was patient while we decided which readings we wanted. She came all the way to my parents house the weekend before the wedding to meet us and really put us at ease! She is such a charismatic person the entire ceremony everyone was in tears at times and laughing till they cried at others. She made all our guests feel welcome and so loved and we are forever grateful for her!!! -

We contacted Claire a year prior to our elopement to plan our special day. We had numerous face time sessions and email check ins to follow-up, get to know one another and stay on top of things. Claire was extremely receptive to feedback and eager to please. The day of our elopement Claire arrived early and mingled with our family/friends at our hotel which really made her feel like a member of our family. Claire kept the ceremony on track time wise and it did not lag or feel too brief. -

Sunshine, Love and Laughter

Kristin Sent on 10/06/2018Claire was an absolute pleasure to work with and a calming presence the months leading up to our wedding. She has a great sense of humor and takes love very seriously. She really wanted to get to know my husband and me to make the ceremony as intimate and special for us as possible. That included, speaking a little french for our guests coming from France :) For the rehearsal, she came to the venue the day before the wedding to meet the wedding party. She made the rehearsal fun for everyone and really prepared us for the next day. Our guests all commented how thoughtful the ceremony was and that Claire was one of the highlights of the day. From the initial phone call, I knew she would make our ceremony the perfect combination of fun and emotional... exactly what we were looking for! She surpassed our expectations. Claire was so genuine and so engaged with our story that my husband and I had several guests come up to us during our reception and ask how long we’ve known her. They just assumed she was an old friend because she seemed to know us so well despite never having met in person until the rehearsal. Claire truly made our wedding what it was... absolutely perfect!
