Rebecca and staff on the Savannah River boat cruise were easy to communicate
With Emails and text messages were promptly answered. I actually planned the whole wedding for my daughter over the phone or emails . This is the easiest wedding venue I have ever worked with and I have planned 3 of my daughter’s weddings one at an Atlanta hotel another in Athens Ga , The staff were very kind and organized. Everything fell into place It was a very enjoyable experience. The food was great. Many of our guests commented the fried chicken was the best they have had in a long time. Shrimp and grits and peach cobbler were also delicious! And I have to recommend Wendy’s Cakes. The best strawberry cake ever!

We had an excellent time on our sunset cruise!! We had our wedding reception dinner, and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the views were beautiful! We danced and ate!! Could not recommend the sunset river boat cruise enough! Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My now husband and I had an elopement package for our wedding through Savannah Riverboats in October. Rebekkah, the coordinator, was very helpful, responsive, and over all bestowed us with excellent customer service. Very beautiful wedding from the Savannah sights at the top deck of the boat for the ceremony; to the dining rooms. They even put us in the dining room with the live band! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. The entire wedding and reception was magical and more importantly, stress free!

We had the best time on the Georgia Queen. We had a wedding elopement and everything went amazing. It was so beautiful and we all had so much fun. I 100% recommend checking out the riverboat if you plan to get married!

Our daughter was married on September 10, 2022 on the Georgia Queen Riverboat. Our coordinator, Rebekah Watts, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Our experience with the Georgia Queen was wonderful and we give a great deal of credit to Rebekah for this positive experience. Our family would highly recommend use of the riverboat for a wedding or for any other occasion.

My husband and I are very pleased with the outcome of our wedding aboard the Georgia Queen Riverboat. The boat itself is a great venue for a wedding of 140 people or less. Our guests loved that we had our ceremony and reception on the riverboat because it’s fun and something different!
We are grateful to the crew and staff that helped us pull off a wonderful wedding. We want to especially thank Rebekah Watts for everything she did to make our experience all that it was. Rebekah became our wedding coordinator for the boat about midway through our planning process. The previous boat coordinator was not adequate to help us plan and prepare for our wedding. But Rebekah stepped in and changed our initial experience for the better. She is polite, kind, prompt, professional, and very good at what she does. Without her, I’m not confident we would have had quite the positive experience that we did. The head chef, Jamie Carver was exceptional and everyone raved about the buffet food. He personally made sure my husband and I knew that he was there to help us and our guests - he even cut our cake! The Captain, Mike North, who married us was so nice and performed our ceremony flawlessly. He even let us get some photos in the wheel house! So cool.
If we were to change anything about our wedding, we might have hired a DJ outside of the boat.
Overall, our guests were happy and we are happy. Thank you Savannah Riverboat crew & staff! We would highly recommend the Savannah Riverboat cruises for a wedding, private party, or any celebration.

Our wedding and reception was beautifully handled by Rebeka and she always let us know that she shared every bit of information with her team.
Rebeka handled our specific needs very professionally, calmly and so very nice with us.
She was very open to any of our suggestions and was completely honest about what would be done and what could not be done.
All the staff on board from the chef who always spoke to us and his food was delicious! The waiters, waitresses that came around to our tables to check if we needed more drinks, water or sodas were very kind and thoughtful. Bartender was very attentive to what people wanted to drink.
It was just beautiful all the way around and everything came together so nice.

We had an amazing night for my reception in the Nook Room. Staff was amazing, food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their time on the Riverboat.

My partner and I were very pleased with the service provided by this venue. They were great with email communication for a destination wedding, there were no surprises with the final balances, and they made making changes to the menu, etc very easy. My ONLY complaint, is that they had staff members going table-to-table during the reception trying to sell the souvenir boarding photos to my guests during dinner. We had specifically declined that package upgrade during our reservation process and I thought it came off as tacky that my guests were being solicited to make an additional purchase. Other than that, the value is great, the food is amazing, and the staff took care of EVERYTHING. Would absolutely recommend this venue!

When my son and future daughter in law decided on a destination wedding, I knew I was in deep trouble. Finding a place in your home town is stressful enough. But having to find a place you have never been I thought would be impossible. I wanted something memorable, fun, and entertaining for all ages. So to the internet I went. I found Savannah River Boat Cruises. I called and spoke with a wonderful woman. (Who was from Knoxville, my home town). Ms. Bridwell informed me of everything they had to offer, the cost and everything that would be needed to accomplish our event. Every month to the day she followed up to make sure everything was going to be to our liking. Even the day of our rehearsal dinner, she called and said everything was on schedule. She was there waiting on us as we boarded. Everything from the cruise, the food and the staff was exceptional. Our waiters Charlie and Peter waited on our every need.. Plus threw in their blessing to the future newly weds.
If you are in need of a venue for a wedding or rehearsal dinner. Give them a call. You will not regret it.

We hosted a "First Christmas" wedding shower on the second deck of one of the riverboats. Bailey is an exceptional coordinator. She was attentive to my needs and made the event enjoyable for all guests, inlcuding the hosts! The food was delicious and the crew was delightful. I would happily work with all members of the Savannah Riverboat company again.

My husband and I thought the Riverboat was a perfect place to have our Son's rehearsal dinner, since most of the brides family and attendants, were from out of town. We had our Son's rehearsal dinner aboard the Savannah River Queen, on the upper deck in the VIP Suite, which we were able to have up to 36 people. We met with Bailee, our Events coordinator, who helped us with all of our decisions. We sat down and planned the menu with her and wanted to include seafood as well as a few Southern dishes. The food was absolutely delicious. Carved Prime Rib, Shrimp and Grits, Conch Fritters, Fried Chicken, Savannah Red Rice, Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, Seasonal Fresh Vegetables, Salad and for desserts, Banana Pudding, Turtle Cheesecake, Peach Cobbler and Fresh Fruit. The employees set it up so nicely, from the buffet, to the tables with linens. We did not have to do a thing. We were able to get access to the room a couple of hours before our guest had to be there, to decorate. We loved being able to step out on the deck as the ship was going down the river to enjoy each others company and get to know everyone. With most everyone traveling to get here, it was a way for everyone to relax before the wedding, the next day. The weather was perfect, the food was perfect , and it could not have been any easier for us. We were able to entertain and not worry about a thing. Bailee and the crew took care of every detail. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat.

Had our wedding and reception aboard the Georgia Queen! Couldn't have asked for better! Bailee was the BEST at helping plan the wedding and coordinating the day of. We didn't want to leave the boat we were having such a good time! We planned the wedding from out of state and this was by far the best way to have a wedding where your guests are entertained and the details are taken care of for you. We will be going back to celebrate our union aboard the GA Queen!

LOVED working with Ashley at Savannah Riverboats! Our guests had a blast as we danced up on the top deck. The food was amazing, and they worked with our DJ to make our experience even better. Loved our friendly bartender, and we can't wait to go back and visit again. Highly recommend!

We had a ceremony and reception at this venue. It was amazing to have several things done for us since we did a destination wedding (we are from Florida). The food was amazing and the DJ was great. Anna (our contact/wedding coordinator) was sweet and accommodating.

Anna Swanson was formidable. I kept asking myself why people stress over planning a wedding, then after the wedding I realized...not everyone had Anna as their planning coordinator and not everyone got married at Savannah RiverBoat Cruise.

We had our destination wedding and brunch on the boat and it was perfect!! Anna, the wedding coordinator really made our wedding so memorable for me and my guests. Can't wait to go back to savannah and then the riverboat on our one year anniversary!!! Oh and the food was so good too!!!! The captain married us and it was the perfect final touch.

We originally thought about a beach wedding, but we are very glad that we decided on a “last minute” elopement on the riverboat. Captain Carl performed our ceremony, just the two of us, with Anna capturing the moment, right before everyone began boarding for the beautifully decorated Valentine cruise. We were so excited! Anna was wonderful, the DJ was fabulous and the food was delicious. We loved everything!

My daughters wedding was not on the boat but we had the reception here . Food was amazing. DJ was very good. Service was wonderful. My guests had so much fun they didnt want to leave. I would recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to have my wedding on the Savannah Riverboat Cruises- "Georgia Queen". I could not have been any more satisfied with this vendor. The event planner "Anna" was great! They provided great services. They have different options to best meet your desires for whatever kind of wedding you want. I loved the Elegant Ceremony Wedding package! The price was very reasonable. And it was worth every last dime. The dinner menus options were another plus. We chose Savannah on my mind which included fried or backed chicken, bourbon glazed peach pork lion, collard greens, Savannah red rice, macaroni & cheese, plus more, just to name a few. The food was cooked to perfection! Good job Savannah Riverboat Cruise Chefs!!! Food and service was great! Then there was the DJ, he was a character that made the reception so much fun. He made jokes, he played music that kept the crowd. He was easy and fun to work with. With that being said, "Our Wedding Rocked!" Thanks Savannah Riverboat Cruises for making it possible!!!

Anna & Staff are absolutely fabulous. It rained the morning of our wedding and the event was moved indoors and it was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Savannah Riverboat Cruises. We received top notch service from the beginning to the end. I didn't have to worry about food, decor, DJ, or floral. The all inclusive price and being near the water was truly a blessing. If you want a stress free wedding the Riverboat is the best place. I am still in amazement as to how smoothly everything went and the genuine love we felt from Anna & The Savannah Riverboat staff.

Nothing but satisfied with my service with savannah riverboat company. My guest LOVED the reception. Karla was amazing to work with and really made my vision come to life. The food was great. Dennis and the rest of the staff where more than helpful. Many of my guest say that was the best reception they have been to.

We had our wedding reception aboard the vessel. We couldn't not have expected anything more! Our group charter consultant Christie was simply phenomenal! She answer every single one of my millions of questions with a professional and prompt reponses. When aboard the ship the crew was simply a pleasure. They were helpful, professional but most of all kind. Being the bride, they helped calm my nerves and allowed me to simply enjoy the day. Several of our guests left the ship saying "This is the best wedding I have ever attended!" Wow! That is a tribute to the crew of the Savannah Riverboat. I would defintely recommend booking this ship for your next wedding or special event!!

We had an excellent time! Having my wedding on the Riverboat Cruise was so much fun!! Anna went above and beyond to help me & I can't express how much that meant to a stressed out bride! My only complaint was two of my guest went downstairs and got something from the buffet. Not all my guest got the memo that it wasn't included. Not easy to put that on the invitation! Instead of discretely telling me, the staff confronted my guest & ended up charging them for 4 (not 2) for full price cruise tickets. All my guest's tickets were already paid for so worse case, they should have been charged the difference to cover their plate. Just wish it had been handled a little better. Overall, it was a great experience!

Anna and the Savannah Riverboat Company staff made my reception and overall wedding day a picture of perfection! I would recommend them to ANY one that asked! Affordable, romantic, classy, and amazing food/costumer service.

My wedding was handled in a professional manner and there were absolutely no hiccups.

Anna was delightful to work with right from the start. When the young person she helped us find to take some snapshots of the wedding / wedding party had a last-minute issue at home, Anna stepped up and took photos for us, and did a lovely job! We wanted a small, simple, worry-free wedding and this was easier and more memorable than we could have imagined.

Cristie Connell, the person who assist me in all the preparation for the boat is very accomodating. She is very professional and never gave me a hard time. My dream wedding came true because the RiverBoat Cruise let me plan my wedding without any weird restrictions! We really enjoyed our time and it was worth the money we spent :)

We used Savannah Riverboat Cruises for our Welcome Event for our wedding weekend. We had a table of ~25. Not being the main event of the weekend, I need something easy and I wanted something that really vibed "Classic Savannah".

Savannah Riverboat Cruises, specifically Rebekah, delivered across the board. The pricing and booking were straightforward. I did not have a large number of choices to make and everything I had to do was easy.

My guests enjoyed the cruise. The food was good (not easy to do on a boat!) and there were options for everyone. The sunset was nice and the views were decent. A very relaxed environment where everyone is there to have a good time. The length of time was perfect.

I have taken off one star for 2 reasons. Neither of them should be deal breakers for you but are something you might want to think through in advance. The first is that most of our guests had finished dinner before the boat pulled away from River Street. For a "dinner cruise" there was something of a question of "what now". Learning: do not feel obligated to board right when boarding starts.

The second was that the waitstaff had very little plan for how to split up the drink bill between 25 guests. I was told at the end they would call out the drinks and split up the bill, rather than make separate checks as they went along. This works fine for 6 people, but not for a large group. Particularly, when that group is scattered all over the boat because they finished dinner early.

We enjoyed our cruise and would recommend it for a casual event or a date night.

This was an amazing vendor for planning a wedding out of state. My wedding coordinator was Bailee and she was extremely responsive and helpful. She coordinated my flowers and wedding and grooms cake with local vendors. She was also very helpful with giving suggestions for hotels for my guests and for rehearsal dinner options. Bailee did an amazing job on the day of the wedding creating my dream vision with the decorations, with very little direction from me. I couldn't have planned a wedding while being a full-time student without Bailee's help.

I had so many people tell me that our wedding was the best one they had ever been to! It was such a great time, and people really enjoyed being able to go onto the deck of the boat to cool off from dancing. The food on the Riverboat is phenomenal and we received so many compliments on the food. I would highly recommend the shrimp and grits, fried chicken, and squash casserole especially. The food value for the price that you pay is great. I would suggest a riverboat wedding for anyone looking to get married in downtown Savannah.

We wanted unique and simple and from my first email to Anna at Savannah Riverboat Cruises I have been impressed. Our wedding doesn't take place until September but I have felt no stress because they made it easy from decorations to menu it took me less than a week to make decisions! Thank you for taking the stress off me during the engagement and letting me enjoy the time leading up to our special day!

There was a few things we were suppose to get like a glass of champagne and two glasses that we didn't receive but other than that I'm so glad we had anna there to be the leader

The staff were wonderful, the food was excellent. There was a problem with the configuration of the tables causing congestion in serving of food. I may have contributed to this issue by not making myself clear on how to set the tables up. This did cause a problem, but over all everything was wonderful. This was a rehersal dinner, not engagement party, just using most closely related choice.

We had a good time but were not impressed with the food. We all got sick the next day and we were also expecting prime rib and we hot roast beef instead.

Perfect for any size wedding reception. We did not have to worry about anything. Food, space and DJ were all included.

I loved the boat manager! And April our server! Awesome!

However, the DJ- Joe does not need to do weddings... He did not call me back to discuss details, did not follow what I wanted (fogetting to have us cut the cake!), and his personality for his chosen profession was less that desired....
He was a disappointment and stressed me out.

I had called for weeks to speak with my DJ and was finally told I was to get David, but I got Joe. I was not happy with Joe.

We spoke to the bar manager and stated having a craft beer selection was a make or break for us. We were told if we let him know we could have whatever we like as part of our open bar. 4 weeks prior I provided the beer list to the wedding coordinator. After several "so sorry for the delay" emails, I was given a price quote for purchasing the beer less than 2 weeks prior to the wedding. We were quoted 8x what we were paying for the same beer at our cocktail hour and we were not allowed to take or return unused portions. I talked them down to $8 per beer. The menu was to be completely gluten free due to Celiac disease in my family. Regular rolls were served making some sick and others go without due to lack of signage or servers to explain which items were safe. The DJ was terrible. He played covers of almost every song we requested and repeated several songs we didn't request. He did not lead any line dances as we had requested. The most disappointing fact was realizing these people are simply sneaky crooks- our original contract we were to have 2 gluten free cheesecakes served. On our final contract, which was emailed to me days before the wedding as a receipt, she intentionally omitted the cheesecakes from the 8 point font summary of the menu on page 2. I missed this and so we didn't receive the cheesecakes. Also, they don't tell you if you would like the additional 2 hours of cruising they charge you for a minimum of 75 people, not per guest as they will tell you at your initial meeting. When I attempted to address my concerns i was met with a response of too bad, so sad. Be careful if you use this company, they WILL cheat you and wait until you're super stressed with last minute details to change things. Document everything because they'll say anything to get that initial contract. Finalize everything prior to the 45 day cancellation if possible.

My husband and I honestly feel like getting married on your boat was the worst mistake we have ever made! If was very disorganized, expensive, impersonal, food was horrible and wish we could go back and redo our wedding! We did not get what we paid for...we were suppose to have a band, that couldn't play due to rain earlier in the evening... the DJ was not involved in our wedding at all. We had to ask for the songs we put on the song list to be played! We were back at the dock and the bouquet/carter toss had never been done..no band, the dj sucked, the food was horrible, and the captain messed up our vows (because of this we were refunded a measly $500)...did not get to do our sand service....theres honestly nothing good I could say about our day and feel we were cheated on a wedding that should have been great! Horrible memories and regret fill that day!
