    Wedding of our dreams and more!

    The service and value of this venue are unmatched! We had the pleasure of having our wedding at the Savannah Center in November of 2019, and we had a total ball! The venue was perfect and beautifully laid out from the minute my vendors arrived. The staff was extremely attentive to everyone's needs and requests. The food was incredible, from the cocktail menu bites to the main course everything was served piping hot and was so delicious! Steve Dawkins and Danielle Dostal went above and beyond to make our day everything and more than we could have possibly wanted. They made sure everything was ready to go and so beautiful! They even took care of a special requested drink that was made and ready for my dad and his friends at the last minute. Our day was absolutely beautiful and that would not have been possible without the help of Danielle and Steve. We are truly proud and grateful to say our big day took place here!

    My son was married at the Savannah center last week and everything was perfect. Mary was so very helpful thru the whole process and gave great recommendations for other services. I would not have changed a thing!

    Everything was perfect, Mary was awesome and helped us with every detail. The venue and gardens are amazing and the staff and services are excellent. Savannah Center exceeded all my expectations.

    The Savannah center was absolutely amazing. Working with Kathyna was a breeze. She was very attentive to my needs/wishes and responded to my calls/emails within hours. The venue, food and staff was picture perfect. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

    Kathyna Salazar is the best!! We worked together planning every detail of my daughter's wedding and the entire event could not have been more perfect! We had guests from all over the world and they could not get over the beauty of the space and the presentation and deliciousness of the food!

    This venue was wonderful. Everything from the food tasting to the clean up of the wedding was picture perfect. My life was stress free throughout my entire wedding process. My now hubby and I had a marvelous time at our wedding and the pictures turned out fantastic. Mary Burns helped us from the beginning to the end and she was a great help. She made everything run so smoothly for us. I can't stop raving about the food. If you want to know what to get I highly recommend their spring rolls for the appetizers :p I could eat a whole tray of those, and their Salmon with Dill Cream sauce and the Chicken with the mango papaya salsa were out of this world!

    As grandparents to our soon-to-be-born third granddaughter, we knew our son and daughter-in-law deserved a FANTASTIC location and experience for this celebration. Kathyna Salazar and her team were incredibly creative, thorough in executive every detail, and helped Bryan and Hayley along with our large number of guests enjoy a beautiful and special celebration to welcome Baby Layla! The Savannah Center staff created an intimate but yet spacious layout along with great recommendations for a delectable menu. Plus they were SO flexible with us when we faced a scheduling challenge. Truly professional in every way, the Savannah Center IS the best regional destination for making memories with family and friends. We loved every moment, and our new little addition will one day see all the exquisite photo memories of everyone who welcomed her weeks before her birth. Our guests continually tell us that our "Couples Shower at the Savannah" was the BEST ever! Thank you!

    The staff at Savannah center were friendly and very helpful. Our coordinator, Mary Burns, went out of her way to provide customized solutions for our needs. The changeover between our ceremony and the reception Was flawless. In addition, the food was outstanding and we could not have been happier with the outcome.

    Mary with Savannah center was amazing, very thorough and made it to wear I was able to enjoy my wedding as I knew she had it covered! Wonderful and beautiful!! Highly recommend

    Savvanah center is the best it was my first choice and in the future I'm going to come back for my other family members . I loved working with Katina she was amazing helping with everything, reasonable price and the place is more than beautiful. Are guests from all over that came loved it ,it was amazing. I say that savvanah center is a number 1.

    Both my daughters married within six months of each other, with the weddings held at the Savannah Center. One was a June wedding and the other was in January. Two different seasons, but the Savannah Center was perfect for each one! It is a lovely venue, perfect for holding events that you want to capture in your memory forever! From the first contact with Mary Burns, wedding and social events manager, we knew it was to be the Savannah Center for the weddings! Mary is professional yet warm and friendly! My entire family felt a special connection with her! She guided us through everything, made thoughtful suggestions, and helped us think through details we had no idea needed to be considered! Both daughters had their ceremonies in Mercer and dinner/receptions in Forsyth. Everything was beautifully arranged and set-up, on time and just the way we wanted! The food is exceptional! The Center’s own chef is remarkable, with our guests commenting repeatedly about the tastiness of the food! The chef also accommodated a variety of dietary needs without any problem. The layout is convenient, with comfortably furbished rooms for the groom’s party and for the bride’s party. Restrooms are spacious, clean and conveniently located. We appreciated all the cooperation and attention to detail for our family! Without hesitation, I recommend The Savannah Center as a superb venue for a wedding and reception!

    Thank you to Steve!! :) Through out the whole process of planning my wedding the booking of the venue was one of the easiest! Steve was very accommodating and made us feel like our special day was going to be perfect and it was! The service was outstanding and it's a beautiful place. I have recommended The Savannah Center to many people!

    Katina and the staff at the Savannah Center were wonderful. The venue is beautiful, opened just about 5 years ago, so it is modern and gorgeous. We did everything at the center, got ready there, took pictures, had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It was nice to not have to travel to multiple locations, there is a space for everything at this venue. Our pictures turned out great, we did some outside, but since it was November and cold, most were taken inside and turned out great. Katina was wonderful to work with, she was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you again so much!

    Katina at the Savannah Center is a wonderful choice. She answered all my questions, no matter how many times I asked her and was so patient. My guests raved about the hor doeurves and dinner. The venue is large and elegant. The grounds provide multiple opportunities for special photo opps. This is a one stop venue with linens, caterer, wait staff and bar and they do the clean up too! Very worry free on what could have been a stressful day

    The Savannah Center was my first choice for my wedding ceremony and reception. My wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every way. Kathyna Salazar was my wedding coordinator and I highly recommend asking for her. She is smart, knowledgeable and accommodating. The Savannah Center is a beautiful establishment. The food is delicious. Every single person on the staff was super nice, caring and kind. If I even looked like I needed anything someone was right there. The bridal suite we occupied all day was awesome. Roomy for a lot of people and attached to the bathroom. I would highly recommend Kathyna and the Savannah Center. Thank you Kathyna!!! Love you!! :)

    Beautiful venue! We did not anticipate it raining 45 minutes before our ceremony, but when it did Kathyna was prompt to suggest an indoor ceremony alternative. The food is amazing and my husband and I particularly enjoyed how we did not have to worry about tripping over another event like we might have had happen at similarly nice venues.

    Wonderful experience! Kathyna was great, uplifting and easy to work with. Beautiful venue as well with many options. Very accommodating staff. Wish I could do the day all over again!

    My daughter had her wedding reception on August 4, 2012. Kathyna was very helpful! We could not have done it without her. We used many of her recommendations and were not disappointed! The food was wonderful! We had the rehearsal dinner at Jag's on Friday night and many people that had the Filet at Jag's said that the Filet at The Savannah Center was better! I had the Salmon and it was delicious! We were not disappointed, and I would not hesitate to have another wedding reception there.

    On a day that was due to rain, Kathyna knew how anxious I was to find out of the ceremony would have to be held outdoors. Despite the few drops of rain and the roars of thunder, she made the decision (quite late) to keep the ceremony outside as the storm looked like it was moving away. She knew I was worried about it and waited until the last possible point to make a decision. She made all the planning easy for me and I will never forget how helpful and sweet she was.

    The venue itself is stunning. It's a gorgeous place in a gorgeous and accessible location. Every guest made sure to compliment the staff and appearance of the place. I would recommend this venue to all brides.

    Savannah Center was beautiful and staff was extremely helpful. From the moment we walked in for our first tour, I knew this is where I wanted my wedding to take place. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting their wedding day to be perfect. Food is first class!

    the room we had (the mercer salon) was absolutely beautiful! Mary was very helpful with everything and responded to all our questions promptly.

    Absolutely perfect in every way (with the exception of no outdoor sound system). Robbin is a sheer joy to work with and I do not know how this place would manage without her! Very reasonable pricing for the level of service you get and the food was wonderful. They do need to arrange to have an outdoor sound system because it was very difficult for our guests to hear the entire ceremony but other than that, everything was perfect! I do believe Robbin is the reason everything went as well as it did. She made us feel like we were the only clients they were working with and I know our event was during the busiest time of the year.

    The Savannah Center is a gorgeous place to get married at! We had our wedding outside and our reception inside! Everything looked stunning. Everything ran smooth throughout the night and the staff was very helpful. We worked with Kathyna who was amazing! She truly understood my vision for the wedding and made it so much more than I could have possibly imagined!

    Katina and the staff at the Savannah Center were wonderful. The venue itself was stunning and more beautiful than we could have imagined. The food was amazing as well. Wish we could have stayed all night and celebrated.

    We had our daughters wedding reception at the Savannah Center and could not have asked for a better place to hold it. The staff was wonderful, especially our consultant, Kathyna! Many of our guests commented on what a beautiful facility it was and how wonderful the food was.

    If you're looking for a venue for a special event, look no further than the Savannah Center..... and ask for Kathyna! You won't be disappointed!

    The staff at Savannah Center made our experience out of this world. Kathyna is kind, professional, knowledgable, and a gift. The staff and service was out if this world. They made our wedding a dream. From the day of booking to the day of te event everyone involved made the process beautiful and easy.

    Katyna was fantastic day of! It was raining day of our wedding so we had to have our wedding inside but the atrium there is absolutely gorgeous so it ended up being better that our wedding was inside and out of the sweltering heat and rain. Katyna and her staff make sure everything ran smoothly and that I did not have to worry day of. the venue was beautiful and everything was set up so nicely! we absolutely loved it.

    We had an amazing experience with Savannah Center. We booked early and they were accommodating to letting us come in to make payments. They were very attentive the day of which made it a lot less stress on us. We had a crazy guest that they took care of without us finding out about until after it was said it done which was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place that hasn't been overdone and is both unique and beautiful.

    We loved The Savannah Center! We worked mainly with Katina who was wonderful! She really took the time to sit down with us and go over every detail. I am a very detail oriented person so this was very important to me. We were told by many of our guest that they thought the food was wonderful. We had a couple different guest that had special request (Kosher food, gluten free, vegetarian exc..) and all of our request were fulfilled beyond our expectations. I explained to Katina the "feel" that I wanted the room to have and she really brought that to life. Everything was gorgeous, I couldn't have been more happy with the way everything turned out. If there were any problems, I did not know about them. Everything was taken care of without me knowing which made it very stress free for me and my husband. We had a great night and were able to have Winter Wonderland wedding that we have always dreamed of.

    We had a great experience at Savannah Center, would definately recommend for people looking for a ceremony and reception all in one place. It went as smooth as it possibly could have. Mary Burns was awesome to work with and the place was beautiful.

    The Savannah Center is a beautiful venue. The outside garden area with gazebo and reception area was wonderful. I was extremely pleased with the help we received from our coordinator during the planning process. She was responsive to all questions in a timely manner and very helpful. However some suggestions for improvement......the day of our wedding I felt prior to the ceremony it was complete chaos. Between the coordinator at the Savannah Center and the event coordinator through the DJ there were inconsistencies regarding where individuals should be and at what time. Also guest were very confused where to go for the wedding ceremony and where to place gifts (in part this was our fault because our greeter did not do a very good job and we did not put South entrance on the invitations). The food package brought to the groom and groomsmen was cold and not very good for the value ( $250 dollars). The package of food for the bridal party was excellent. The meal was excellent, but the servers did not ask anyone at the table for drink orders for coffee or ice tea and several tables did not receive bread (as the mother of the bride I was having to go around and track down servers to get guest's needs met) . Many of my guests later complained to me the time between cutting the cake and receiving the cake was extremely long (by the time the cake was served many guests had left). This was a very pricey venue and I am not sure the food & appetizers were worth the price. However, the venue itself was perfect, the flexibility with the coordinator was excellent and the outside area for the ceremony was just perfect. By no means will anywhere be perfect, but these are just some suggestions for improvement or for others reading this review that might consider this venue. I still would choose this venue again, but would probably be much more verbal regarding exactly who was responsible for organizing individuals prior to the ceremony and directing guests.

    The Savannah Center was a beautiful location for our Reception venue for our wedding. Mary and the staff were very friendly making the night wonderful. The food was also very good too!

    The final result = the most perfect day ever. We got to use the gazebo for the ceremony, and the reception hall itself turned out beautiful looking. But the process of the planning kind of sucked at times. First off, we originally had a different wedding coordinator that quit about 4 months prior to the wedding. We were then given another contact, Mary Burns. While she was very nice and wonderful, it was hard to get a hold of her. And I am sure she was overwhelmed and double-booked once the other girl quit, but we did have a hard time getting questions answered just because of all that. But I will say, the day turned out perfect. The food was good. The reception hall was good. The ours d'hoevres were good. I loved the ceremony itself in the gazebo. The pictures turned out awesome! During the reception itself, the staff was wonderful, they catered to our every whim, and did checks with us to make sure we didn't need anything. Mary Burns was wonderful during the reception. Everything flowed smoothly and wonderfully the day of. I couldn't be happier with how things turned out!!

    The final event turned out wonderful. It was a little tricky to plan because we had 3 different wedding coordinators we worked with during our engagement. I was so happy with how accommodating they were to our requests and I appreciated their creativity.

    Savannah Center was great and very adaptive and flexible. The staff was amazing the day of our wedding, but then Kathyna disappeared after the ceremony and did not do anything else after 7:30pm. Things did not get done as asked and planned during the reception, but everything else went off without a hitch.

    I was married and had my reception at the Savannah Center. Like many people, my original contract was signed with one person (who ended up quitting) but we were assigned to Mary Burns. Overall, Mary is a very nice lady. Although I was married months ago, I felt compelled to write a review, just b/c I know when I was a bride looking for a place to have my dream wedding I also reviewed these websites. Yes, The Savannah Center is beautiful. Yes, the food was good. Yes, they were willing to allow us to move our ceremony up one hour (we had many children at our event and I knew they nor their parents would last long into the night). The planning leading up to the event did have some minor obstacles (which I would prefer not to mention on this site).The wedding coordinator, I saw her right before she grabbed me to send me down the isle, then I don't recall seeing her again, other then her and the DJ telling my husband and I to "hurry up" while greeting our guests during dinner AND when she came up to me right before my husband's and I had our last dance and she said that I (and or whoever I put in charge) needed to start cleaning up our tables/removing centerpieces b/c they needed to be removed that night. This was very inappropriate to me. Why would you ask the bride to start cleaning up, esp when I had paid to rent the space for a certain amount of time (and we still had over an hour left on our clock???). Okay...we had taken a limo, we were taking the shuttle back to the hotel. I asked if the florist had left any boxes for me to put our centerpieces in, she said she didn't know. I asked if we could return early in the morning (before 8AM) to pick them up with a truck, she said "NO" they needed to be moved out b/c they had another wedding they needed to start working on. I literally was almost in tears. My husband grabbed me away, we had our last dance (but all I could focus on was how they heck we were going to get the centerpieces home). Obviously, my bridesmaids and good friends saw the panic and worry on my face, grabbed up all the centerpieces (which was interesting b/c the Savannah Center also made it clear they don't decorate or like to place anything prior to ceremony/reception) nor did they offer to help carry the centerpieces (lanterns) to the car waiting outside. I used to work at a country club years ago and we held multiple weddings, and yes, we absolutely helped families if they needed it. Also, their strict guidelines on when you are allowed to arrive at the Savannah Center to take pictures, where and when you are allowed to take those pictures (b/c they may be hosting multiple weddings, they can't guarantee they you can take pictures on they stairwell or the garden b/c another bridal party may be there....Blah. It felt like such a small detail that I shouldn't have had to worry about. As far as staff asking me or hubby if their was anything we needed, not much help. Overall, looking back, thankfully the day was beautiful, the ceremony went on without a hitch and the reception was gorgeous and for 99% just what I dreamed.

    Initially, the place was gorgeous and after taking a tour and mtg with Kathyna, our "manager" I decided this was that place I wanted our reception to be(even though it was expensive). While it did look phenomenal, there were a few things to be aware of. Kathyna was nice every time that we met with her, although it took more than a few days for her to email back. Because I was paying for the entire wedding myself, I wanted to make monthly payments to better budget myself. She acted as though it was a hassle and even told my husband "I don't have people that do that." Talk about judgement and inflexibility. It wasn't until 2 wks prior to the wedding that we met to decide tablecloths, chair covers, napkins, layout etc., even though I asked her about 1-2 mo prior when we needed to go over this. She was gone right after we got introduced. I didn't know when certain events (toasts, first dance, cake, garter, bouquet) should happen. Things felt very rushed because we got introduced late and because she wasn't there to coordinate when she left me under the impression that she would. My bouquet and garter happened about 30 min before the end of the reception (my photog wasn’t even there to get it), and my husband had to get a chair, bridesmaid had to get a bridesmaid bouquet (because I don't know what she did with the toss away bouquet) and she lost a baby picture that was very special to my mother. Also, she told me that there would be attendants by the gift table and that after the reception was under way, that they would take them to wherever they needed to go. This didn't happen. For the amount of money we paid I feel as though things should have been organized better and taken care of. Overall, it was a good, not great, experience. Everyone told me what a wonderful time they had at the reception but I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed because I was worrying about where she was, and what was going to happen next when she assured me this would be taken care of.

    The facility is beautiful, the food great, but for the amount of money we spent there was a definite lack of communication and follow through. We were told during our final count meeting that we could enter the hall Saturday morning at 10:00 am. This was critical to us because we had elaborate floral centerpieces that needed to be assembled at the tables and we were told someone would be there to let us in and assist our florist. We also had several family members arriving at the same time to set up all our special touches. Needless to say no one at the hall knew what was going on and our florist was given a small room to do her job. The actual staff did not arrive until 1:00 and our florist assisted in placing the table runners because she had much to do. When I told our consultant this she denied that they had to do and said her staff had worked very late the night before and she couldn't expect them to come in so early.We werealso told that all our decorations etc had to be out THAT NIGHT and so we spent until 2 am taking vases and everything out. After speaking to my florist about havingto do this she told me Kathyna said they could be put in an unused coat closet until Monday. The vase boxes were nowhere to be found on Monday. During the entire process we were continually told not to worry, everything would be taken care of and we believed that, but we were very disappointed in the fact that so much stress was caused by a serious lack of follow through.

    This venue is outrageously overpriced for it's packages and other options.

    Our family had two wedding receptions here within one year, and both times, they skipped out on certain things, and both times, the staff was very unprofessional and not courteous.

    The general manager forgot things that we wanted which would've made at least one of our events more convenient for our guests.

    They are just there to make the most money. They don't genuinely care about the clients and their needs. I'd steer away from this venue.

    I actually had to write a complaint letter to this venue because of the lack of professionalism and quality of service was very poor. They had been open for seven months at the time of my wedding, but it seemed like it was the first wedding they had ever done.....unfortunately I know they had several before mine and it was still not run very well.

    Very unprofessional and abrupt staff! I have attended two events ( as a guest ) in the past that I enjoyed very much but after dealing directly with an errogant, upper management staff member who fails to return a simple phone call (and multiple messages) and then places blame due to his lack of timely response, I will not be returning or saying anything positive about thier center.
