Andy is the best!

I can't say enough good things about working with Andy from Satyr entertainment. He was super chill and easy to work with throughout the planning process. We knew we wanted someone who would get the party going but not be aggressively energetic and enthusiastic on the mic. On the day he was a fantastic MC, cued our ceremony entrance and exit music PERFECTLY, picked great cocktail hour and dinner music based on our preferences (we received tons of compliments) and once the dance party started it never stopped. He kept the dancing going the entire night! One of our main goals was to have a great party and Andy really delivered. He took some requests which was really fun but he just did a great job of feeling out the vibe and making sure everyone was having a good time. We had everyone from my 19 year old cousin to my 91 year old grandma on the dance floor throughout the night! I definitely recommend choosing Andy for your wedding MC and DJ!

Andy @ Satyr was the best part of our wedding night

Andy @ Satyr Entertainment blew us away. Andy was professional, experienced, so incredibly helpful, and his dance floor was the best dance floor we have ever been on (wedding or otherwise)!!!

From the planning phases to the event itself, Andy went above and beyond our expectations.

He was exactly the kind of communicator we wanted; he worked with our other vendors to adjust our timeline in real time as needed, informed our guests of what was going on without being overbearing, and was just a pleasure to have around.

We tried to go downtown after our wedding ended and everyone said how much they missed our dance floor and Andy’s music instead.

Andy chose the perfect cocktail hour music (I was Shazaming songs at our table haha), did seamless transitions between songs, read the crowd, and our dance floor was packed from the moment it opened until the very last song. He also intuitively chose the party version of our first dance song (which was a cover) as the last song of the night. So thoughtful and fun!!

He made the entire night stress free (I was so anxious no one would want to dance at my wedding! Boy was I wrong) and I can truly say Andy gave us the most fun night of our lives. Truly could not be happier and will recommend him to everyone in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Andy!!!!

You can't go wrong with Satyr Entertainment!

Andy was an awesome addition to our wedding team! We wanted to make everything as simple as possible so we had him provide the sound and music for our ceremony as well as for the reception. That turned out to be a great decision because Andy delivered an awesome ceremony based on our vision and the reception went off without a hitch as well. He took our Spotify playlist and ran with it giving us a unique ambiance the entire time. Our chosen songs were cut in a way that made them perfect for the moment they were intended. Andy even gave us guidance on the sequence of events for the reception which ended up being perfect. We are definitely happy with the job Andy did for us and we'd definitely recommend Satyr Entertainment!

Fantastic!

The team at Satyr Entertainment is absolutely fantastic! I mostly worked with Jack who was always on top of my numerous emails and phone calls. He took the time to get to know me and my fiance and what we envisioned for our dream Halloween wedding. Every time I had a question or idea, Jack was right there determined to make it happen. He even let me take advantage of their Halloween decorations. It's been a incredibly supportive experience, from his amazing flexibility and creativity, to his passion for his craft. Best Service in Town

THE BEST! We were lucky enough to find Satyr Entertainment for our wedding last fall, and they were incredible. I worked with Jack Strandberg, who was so professional and helpful every step of the way. We knew we wanted a night filled with dancing, toasts, and just great music. As a former vendor in the wedding industry, I've learned time and time again that your DJ makes all the difference. Jack was able to read the room perfectly, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! From helping mic-up our officiant and guitarist all the way down to the perfect send off at the end of the night, Jack was attentive to every detail, personalizing the wedding in every way possible. He even jumped in and saved the day with music when our cocktail hour entertainment was nowhere to be found! By the end of our wedding, our venue host told us she had never seen that many people all on the dance floor all night long! Our guests could not stop raving about how much fun Jack was, and I am so thankful that we had the chance to work with an amazing company that provides amazing quality, and a night we will never forget. I will always go with Satyr, and recommend them for anyone looking for a DJ!

Amazing!

I cannot say enough positive things about these guys!

If you want a fun atmosphere, lighting, fireworks, confetti, amazing taste of music then you need to go with Satyr!
I have used them for multiple events, and I leave everytime with no regret for hiring them.

They know how to keep the dance floor busy and make the party an even greater party!

I would recommend 100%.. trust me they are AMAZING!!!!

Personalized Experience

I cannot recommend Satyr Entertainment enough! Andy was attentive, flexible and created an experience that was completely ours. We used three different locations within our venue and Andy was able to accommodate each location with the equipment needed to create a seamless transition, including uplighting. Satyr Entertainment has an awesome online portal - we were able to work on our music list from early on and work on it as we needed. About a week before our wedding, we met in person and discussed our feel and vibe for our wedding. We all had a wonderful time and danced the night away.

Andy was AMAZING. He was super responsive with all of our emails, questions, concerns, anything we were curious about! He played all the best songs that got every single person out on the dance floor and had really wonderful song transitions! Amazing Experience!

Trent was the DJ for our wedding last weekend, and he was awesome. From our initial meeting through the communication leading up to the wedding and throughout the day-of, I didn't have any worries. Our friends haven't stopped telling us that our wedding was the most fun they've been to, which is saying a lot. A lot of that is due to the music and overall energy throughout the day, so THANK YOU TRENT!

We honestly couldn't be more pleased with how everything went. Most definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ!

Hire them!

Let me start out by saying stop searching and just hire them for your wedding or event. We were blown away with Satyr Entertainment. Andy played the best music at our wedding, he knew exactly what to play and when to play it. Before we met with Andy, I was nervous about having a DJ and not a band but after we met with him I was so happy we hired him! He listened to all of our requests and concerns and he made our wedding day unforgettable. The dance floor was full the entire night all thanks to Andy. He made our reception party dreams come true and we will never forget what he did for us.

Andy is simply the best! We were able to snag him about a year out from our April wedding and couldn't have been happier--not only was he amazingly professional and easy to work with (including super responsive via email), he kept the party going all night (people were begging for more at 1 am). Chatting with him in person whenever we were in Tucson was incredibly helpful in solidifying our timeline and he did a great job of making sure of taking our playlist ideas and turning them into an amazing couple of sets. The soundtrack to our wedding felt extremely personalized, and he kept the evening and energy flowing seamlessly. We could not have been happier with our Satyr experience--so many people commented that Andy was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard!

I had a lighting and decor vision for my wedding, and Luke and his team brought it to life! I appreciate when vendors are more than just executors, but are truly advisors. We hired Satyr Entertainment for our wedding in March and it was one of the best decisions we made! Andy was our DJ and he knows how to get the party started! He played a variety of music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. During our planning meeting we gave him a general idea of what we wanted and then he had us pick out a list of song using a website that made it all very simple. Andy was an awesome CM for the night. As my husband and I were walking around talking to our guests at dinner Andy casually came up and offered us gum, what a smart guy! Later in the evening my husband left the reception to change shoes and one of my favorite songs came on. I told my maid of honor I was disappointed we missed dancing to that song together, and she told Andy. Next thing I know the song comes back on, just for us! Little touches like this made us feel like he truly cared about our wedding experience and wanted to make it the best night possible. Thank you Andy!

AMAZING! We found Satyr through our wedding planner, and I could not be happier with their service. Finding the right DJ will make or break a wedding, and after reading all of the positive reviews, we knew we had nothing to worry about with Andy and Satyr. Andy went above and beyond to help us secure a keyboard for the pianist for our ceremony, came to our wedding rehearsal, checked in with us the week of to go over all of our special dance songs, must plays, and do not play lists, and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night! We had people commenting to us all night (and the next day!) about how fantastic the DJ was, and how impressed they were with the number of people on the dance floor. To top everything off, my dad created a mix of two songs for our Father/Daughter dance, but the audio was a bit off. Andy not only fixed it for us, but made it sound even better! I am so impressed with Satyr, and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or event in the Tucson area.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. We let Trent know that it was important for us to have a true dance party at our wedding and Trent and Colter totally delivered. We both danced almost the entire night and loved it. Trent and Colter kept us on schedule with speeches and the first dance and were super flexible when we wanted to keep the party going for 2 more hours! By the end of the night we felt like Trent and Colter were two more friends/guests at our wedding. They know their craft really well - they played our favorite songs but also knew what to play to keep the crowd energized and excited. We'd recommend Satyr Entertainment with no reservations.

Luke was incredible! My husband and I told Luke that our main goal for our wedding was to make sure everyone had fun and would fill the dance floor. Luke did not disappoint! He did such a great job feeling out the crowd and made sure the hype continued throughout the entire night! He was incredibly responsive, easy and fun to work with! When we told him what songs we wanted for our procession and recessional he genuinely sounded excited for us! Luke and Andy were the best! Music was a stress for us since we were having a fusion Indian/western wedding, and an Indian wedding in Tucson was new to many of our vendors, myself (the bride) and many of our guests. We sent in our playlist and a Dropbox with Bollywood songs to Luke way later than we had intended, but he oriented himself with the music, and did a fantastic job reading the crowd and playing a seamless mix of genres. The boys at Satyr are super professional, personable, and easy to work with. I got so many compliments at the wedding and would highly recommend them.

My best friend used Satyr for her wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch and Andy did a phenomenal job. I joined the bride for her consultation with Satyr before the wedding and she forwarded me their emails during the planning process, so even though it wasn't my wedding I can attest to their level of professionalism and service. If I was planning my own wedding, I would look no further than Satyr. The uplighting was a great addition and Andy was very helpful in planning the flow of the reception and picking the right music for each segment. Guests really loved him and commented on how friendly and talented he was. He worked seamlessly with the wedding venue to set up his equipment and make sure everything was perfect for the big day. Satyr was recommended by the wedding venue and our other vendors raved about Satyr and said we made the best choice. We agree! Thank you, Andy!

If you are looking for a dj and emcee you can trust to guide your wedding with the utmost care and quality, these are the people to call! I hired them to do both my ceremony and reception (you can select both or just 1 part) and I'm so glad I did! They don't only play great music with nifty lighting. They provide the "whole package." You can't go wrong with Satyr Entertainment! Andy, & Trent made our wedding one our guests won't soon forget. After meeting with them, and getting a feel for my husband's and my taste, they recommended several songs we hadn't even heard of for our ceremony. The songs were wonderful, and we got several compliments from our guests about the music selection at the ceremony.

The reception was a party to end all parties. These guys know how to pick up on the energy of a room and play off it seamlessly. After dinner, we had 150 guests dancing for well over FIVE HOURS-- many of whom NEVER dance. It seemed like Trent and the other DJs were having as much fun as we were. You can't go wrong here! Satyr will be sure you and your guests will have the time of their lives!

Satyr is a must for any wedding! Scott and Trent were fantastic and really helped make our day special. Throughout the planning process they helped us with suggestions and made it possible to create the best day for us and our guests. Scott came and met with us and hashed out the details that we would not have thought of. On the day of we had some hiccups (lost pants at dry cleaners and problems with the venue) but Scott and Trent took them in stride and took all the stress off of us and came up with great solutions. My experience with Satyr Entertainment was wonderful! I was an out-of-state bride and Luke was helpful, understanding, and flexible with my schedule to meet/talk on the phone. He was very organized during the planning process and listened to my vision of the night. My biggest priority on the day of my wedding was to be able to visit all of our guests at their table. Luke was excellent at reminding us of the timeline, but not pushing us to rush. He executed our music taste flawlessly. Our guests were dancing the ENTIRE night. He was not overly chatty on the microphone, but kept the night moving at the right pace.
The only thing that I would change is that one of my "must play" songs did not play -- which is not a big deal. I think that was because they started using a new online information portal, and there were some things on the portal that we did not discuss on the phone.
But seriously, overall I would 10/10 recommend this vendor. I definitely do not regret making the investment in a great DJ. We were able to enjoy the night, and our guests knowing that the rest was taken care of.

I wish I could give this company 10 stars!!!! They made our wedding!!! Luke is amazing and Andy is an incredible DJ. All our guests (even our catering and bartender vendors) said that this is the best DJ they have ever witnessed! They played the best music and knows how to keep the party going. Everyone was having fun! We had a few guests that said their goodbyes to us, but 30 minutes later they were still on the dance floor; they said they couldn't leave bc of the music. Andy is very professional with so much charisma and charm; he made sure we're on time. Our wedding was in Los Angeles, but these guys are the best and we needed to have the best for our wedding. So look no further... hire these guys immediately if you don't want a boring party!!!!

Planning a wedding from across the country and Tucson where the wedding will be may not seem like an easy task. However, Andy was one of our vendors who made us feel comfortable and was very responsive to any questions we had. He was able to work with us in preparation for our wedding day and even brainstormed with us about music.

Our wedding venue recommended him. Our wedding planner recommended him. Our other vendors even recommended him! He has a great reputation of professionalism and execution of DJ-ing that is phenomenal! We wouldn't have trusted anyone else for handling the music (and setting the tone) for our wedding than Satyr Entertainment. We could not be happier!

Andy and his team were top notch before, during and after our wedding. It is no wonder why they're consistently rated as the best in Southern Arizona. Andy was wonderful and saved our wedding! We found out two weeks before the wedding that our band wasn't able to do ceremony or cocktail music. In a bizarre stroke of good fortune, Andy was available to squeeze us in last minute and totally went above and beyond. The ceremony music was beautiful, we Rick-Rolled for our recessional, and he came up with an excellent cocktail song-list on the fly. Sound quality was AMAZING, and Andy himself was a positive, upbeat guy that completely rocked the MC duties. I highly recommend his services for your next event.

The main entertainment is always the DJ and if you do not get one that is experienced, who gets to know the bride and groom, then you are wasting your time and money! Be sure to interview a few, and spend the extra money if you like one the best! It is totally worth it! We got the standard package for the wedding and reception. Andy showed up to the rehearsal and was at the location early to set up for the wedding and reception. The officiant, bride and groom all had microphones on during the wedding, plus we had a microphone on a stand for the readings during the ceremony. Andy then did a wonderful job at the cocktail hour and reception. I was not there for cocktail hour, since I am the mother of the groom and was getting photos taken, but many said it was nice having music in the background. Then the greeting of the bride and groom and wedding party at the reception started off the dinner and dancing! Thank you Satyr for helping make this day very special for my son and daughter in law!

We hired Andy based off the recommendation of our wedding planner and I am so happy we did! We live out of state and Andy was so good about communicating with us and letting us know what he needed and when. The first time we met with him when we were in town visiting before the wedding we felt that we hit it off and he totally understood the vibe we were going for. He picked amazing versions of the songs we wanted to walk down the aisle to and gave the ceremony the unique feel we wanted. Our wedding was smaller with about 60 out of town guests and Andy was totally able to feel the crowd and kept everyone dancing all night! He even played a little longer because no one was ready to stop dancing. After the wedding we had so many compliments from guests that he was the best DJ at any wedding they had been to and that every song was amazing. We would highly recommend Andy for any occasion that requires a DJ, he is just wonderful!

I am so thankful we heard about and used Satyr Entertainment. Andy was incredible and made music and sound at the wedding so easy on us when there are so many planning considerations! Lighting was gorgeous, music selection was perfect, I can't rave enough. He took our preferences and created a fantastic playlist, but will also happily accept a fully planned playlist from a couple. He worked with our vendors to cover any of our oversights and the evening went off flawlessly. Ask around, everybody will tell you the same thing: can't go wrong with Satyr!

The DJ and music selection at a wedding is crutial for a good time- not only is Luke great to work with, he's super responsive about what the bride and groom want, he followed our playlist requests and had the party crankin from the Minute the bridal party entered the room. I would highly highly suggest using Satyr Entertainment - no matter what the wedding budget, this is an area (music, food, bar) that your guests will remember. Thank you Luke, we danced our faces off!

I just can't say enough about Andy and Satyr Entertainment, but I will try so I can convince as many couples to book him for their wedding! The music Andy played was phenomenal and the playlists were flawless. He listened to all our suggestions, and worked in even the songs we thought wouldn't fit anywhere. He totally ran with the genres we suggested, and really played music that everyone absolutely loved. I would say the BY FAR, the one things we were complimented on more than any other part of our wedding, was Andy's music selections. We had so many people stay until we closed up at midnight, I was absolutely floored, and so many people danced because the music was amazing! But not only was the dancing music great, the ceremony music flowed nicely, the cocktail hour had some great jams, and dinner had a great soundtrack as well.
Andy didn't only pick out amazing music for us, he also worked closely with our Day of Coordinator to really keep the night flowing seamlessly. When we sat for dinner, the food was a little late, so Andy let us know that maybe we could do a speech before dinner instead of after, which was perfect. He also made any needed announcements throughout the day and night to help really direct the guests, and also to take the favors, and we didn't end up with any extras, which was a huge bonus for us!
I know people's worry with a DJ is that they will sound cheesy, talk too much, and play music that just doesn't work, but have no fear with Andy, he is great in every way, and a very nice person in general.
I can't recommend Andy enough to all of my friends, because I can't wait to be at another wedding DJ'd by him. Seriously, I am thinking of all these events in my life that might need a DJ because I need another excuse to hire him.

You cannot go wrong with Andy as your DJ. Not only was he extremely patient since we were planning our wedding from Germany and had to move the date twice he made everything so easy and fun!! He played the most amazing music and kept us dancing late into the night. There are not enough words to recommend him highly enough!! He was extremely professional but so much fun to work with we want to hire him again for anything bc he was THAT good!! If you are getting married in Tucson you HAVE to hire Andy, you will be SO glad you did!!!

Andy was recommended to us by a good friend he came highly recommended from our friend who is very big in the Tucson DJ scene. When we first met Andy we knew he was the DJ for us he was on time, polite and very professional. Of the bat we let Andy know we do not want games and were a little bit picky about music and he completely understood and really Took in all of our concerns and wants. Not only did Andy meet us at the venue but he pretty much orchestrated our entire wedding due to the fact we did not have a wedding planner. He did a walk-through and gave us amazing suggestions and he also provided us with awesome lighting. Andy had a clear head when I was stressing and really calmed me down. He also orchestrated my wedding party and my husband and I For our grand appearances perfectly. I was not sure what song I wanted to dance to you with my stepdad so I emailed Andy and he sent me a huge list of suggested songs which made my life so much easier and I really appreciate him for that. I can't tell you how many compliments we got in about Andy in the last few days and how great our music was. I highly recommend Kandy and thank him so much for everything

Out of all our vendors that we hired for our wedding, Andy DePew of Satyr Entertainment was definitely one of them that impressed us the most. Not only did he keep our dance floor full to the very end of the night but we also appreciated his professionalism, personality and energy that he brings to his job. He suggested ideas during our initial meeting that we hadn't even thought about (like adding colorful up-lighting on the walls of our reception) and they worked out perfectly and really added to our wedding photos. He also went the extra mile during our cake cutting when he noticed that we didn't have a knife and bolted into the kitchen to find us one before anyone else did. My wife and I were very impressed! I'll definitely be recommending Andy for years to come because he's truly one of the very best D.J.'s in Tucson.

We are thrilled that we used Satyr Entertainment for our wedding reception. Andy was our DJ, and he was friendly and communicative during planning as well during the reception itself. Andy had no problem with some of our crazier requests, which included playing Swahili music during the dinner portion of the evening (as well as for some of the dancing) and partaking in pub-style trivia (including a dance-off when two tables tied for first place)! He even went the extra mile to snip the songs to ten-second clips so we could have a music round. Our guests are still raving about the trivia segment as well as our “amazing DJ,” and I was even contacted by several of the local guests for Andy’s contact information. The reception would not have been the same without Satyr, and we have great memories from the evening thanks to Andy!

Having Andy as our D.J. was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. The music he played throughout the evening was thoughtful and set the exact mood for our event. We received several compliments about the song choices from our guests. Andy met with us prior to the wedding and helped us set a playlist from music we loved and was also careful to listen to what kind of music we wanted to avoid. At some point, he talked to my mom and she mentioned the song she and my dad danced to at their wedding. He was kind enough to play it for them, which was a special moment and warms my heart knowing he did that for them. From start to finish, Andy was professional, intelligent and worked so hard. We cannot thank him enough for all he did.

We recently had our daughter's wedding at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. Andy Depew at Satyr was fabulous. From our first meeting to the end of the reception, Andy was extremely professional AND laid-back and fun! Satyr was priced very reasonably, and Andy served as the perfect emcee for entire event. He was very thorough and organized, and his playlist for cocktails, dinner and dancing was exactly what my daughter wanted. The volume during cocktails and dinner was great (not too loud) and the lighting was amazing. He handled the flow of the dinner/reception beautifully and at a pace that was just right. We had MANY guest compliments on Andy's services. One of the things we really wanted was a fun reception full of energy but still elegant and classy. Andy provided all of these things - all of the fun, none of the cheese! Andy really made the reception an exceptional event, and he was delightful to work with. We could not have been happier, and we could not recommend him highly enough!

Andy did a fabulous job as the DJ at our wedding! He was very professional and helpful. We worked together to compile a song list that made our reception a great party! The flow of the night was seamless from the ceremony to reception to slide shows. Andy took the time to get to know the vibe we were going for and met with us to finalize all the details so the entire event was truly representative of us. Would highly recommend him!

Wedding music sets the tone. And it can make or break the reception. So choose Satyr and you won't be disappointed! Our DJ was Andy, and he was absolutely amazing!! He played exactly what we wanted to hear, from our playlist. And mixed in his own choices that fit perfectly with our styles. The ceremony songs flowed together so nicely - from the processional, to the bridal party coming down the aisle, and then to my song. Everything went so smoothly. He even came to the rehearsal and played the ceremony playlist to make sure the timing would be perfect. I've never seen a DJ at a rehearsal before, so I thought he went above and beyond. He even helped tape down the aisle runner, right before I walked down. He was so helpful and considerate. He was very flexible about meeting with us to discuss details, and always answered my emails (and hundreds of questions) quickly, and professionally. He also helped me cut out a part of our First Dance song that I didn't like. Satyr also provides the equipment to do a photo slideshow, which we did during dinner, and ended up being a huge hit. When it was time for open dancing, he kept the songs going, and didn't ever interrupt, which I've seen so many other wedding DJs do, with something cheesy. He made one song blend into the next. And everyone still keeps telling me how awesome the music was that night. I think every single person was dancing at one point. I can't say enough great things about Andy. I highly recommend him! I don't know when I'll need a DJ again, but if I ever do - he's my guy.

Andy did an incredible job at our wedding ceremony and reception! Thanks to Andy, everything from the sound/equipment to his emceeing our reception to coordinating logistics with our other vendors couldn't have gone more smoothly, and our guests had a fantastic time dancing late into the evening. He ensured that my brother, who played guitar and sang during our ceremony, was able to hook into his equipment seamlessly, and my sister, who needed Andy's help with music for an extra special toast, was able to deliver an unforgettable moment. I had the chance to hear Andy’s talent as a DJ on countless occasions, so it was only natural that I would hire him to be the DJ at my wedding. He not only met my expectations, but exceeded them by leaps and bounds! First off, Andy is the most friendly and fun person. He’s down to earth and a super cool guy. Each time we talked or met about the wedding, he had so much enthusiasm and energy. I told him that he might have the most difficult job of any vendor at our wedding, since my husband and I had such different tastes in music. However, he totally nailed it! He was able to meld my indie/alternative music with my husband’s love for classic rock and round it all out with some crowd-pleasing oldies for all our guests. Andy has the ability to read a crowd perfectly – he knows when to keep the excitement going and when to slow it down. He even added a few songs/artists that I had never heard of, and it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly! Andy was also able to provide audio assistance with our ceremony and set up lighting that really transformed the venue patio into a true dance floor. He’s the one that helped turn our wedding reception into a party! We couldn’t have been happier with Andy, and our guests can’t stop raving about what an amazing time they had. Andy of Satyr was a huge positive for my daughters wedding. I was asked by many people who selected the playlist and the music received many compliments. His communication with me was excellent before the wedding and more importantly throughout the event. Of every vendor we had involved in this event, I felt he provided the greatest value. He explained the up lighting to us and we added it at the last minute. I would recommend that you include it in your event, it adds a wonderful ambiance. Andy with Satyr Entertainment was wonderful. He's very easy to talk to and I appreciated that their website was by far one of the most professional I had seen for DJ's in the area. Their style avoids corniness, which is something we very much were looking for! Hands Down BEST DJ in Tucson!!!
When we were deciding on a date, we call Andy to make sure his schedule was open before we even consulted with our parents!
A great party is held together by great music and Andy didn't disappoint. He has a great feel for the crowd and how to keep them going. We danced into the wee hours of the morning and had many friends who stuck around much later than planned. My little sister had personally worked with Luke and all the Satyr boys in high school. My heart was set on a band for my wedding but she insisted when we went to a wedding convention to talk with the guys and see what they could do. After talking with them and telling them all I wanted to do to make my wedding one hell of a party, they exceeded all my expectations and I'm so glad I went with Satyr. They gave me decorative lighting which made my venue such a party atmosphere. My guests were on their feet dancing the entire night. The satyr guys kept the guests entertained and both mine and my husbands families loved them. Many of my guests want to hire them when they have weddings/ parties in the future. These guys are amazing and love what they do. They make the bride and groom the center of attention but make the atmosphere such a party which we love! I would recommend them to everyone I know. Andy was quite possibly the best vendor decision we made for our wedding. In the time leading up to the wedding date he was very responsive, friendly, patient, and incredibly proactive in his communications with us and with the venue staff. On my wedding night he not only provided an awesome mix of music to please all the generations of guests at our event, but he also was a terrific emcee, making the evening flawless. Furthermore, he completely transformed the venue ballroom into a magical setting using drapery and uplighting. He and his team were a hit amongst all of our guests and had people on the dance floor all night! I was confident with Andy that I would not have to worry about a single detail throughout the reception, and I was right. I sincerely thank him and the rest of the Satyr team in helping make my wedding day the best day of my life.

Simply outstanding! Luke was the best! We were married in Tubac, AZ. Luke and his assistants arrived hours earlier than requested, to assist our vocialist with sound inside the chapel. They also ensured the cocktail hour went off with a glitch. During the reception they tastefully selected dinner music. And, our party segment was just amazing! The guest, my husband, and myself never sat down. Luke captured our vision of a celebration and transformed it into an extremely memorable experience! We are from the east coast and have partied in places such as New York, Philadelphia, and Miami. Satyr Entertainment (especially Luke) is the best in the industry - hands down!

I couldn't be happier with our choice to use Satyr Entertainment for our wedding. The DJ is the real make or break of a wedding. Though the prices were a little on the higher side, which they let you know upfront, I would have paid twice as much after our experience. We gave them a rough idea of what sort of music we like to dance to and let them take the reins from there. The dance floor was never empty! They kept in mind the different age groups of our guests and also moved the night along on a flexible schedule that went seamlessly. They were friendly, professional, and fun! Satyr Entertainment is a must have!

When I first started planning my wedding, I heard one name over and over again: Andy Depew of Satyr Entertainment. At that point I wasn't even sure we wanted a DJ, but as soon as we sat down with him, it was decided; we couldn’t say no to a music nerd like Andy. He’s passionate about music and passionate about making your event memorable. He was great at coordinating the music so it coincided with and set the party’s mood, and he kept the party going strong all the way until closing time. At one point, my husband (!) came over to me and commented that Andy was “playing every song he really wanted to hear”, and I couldn’t agree more. Andy Depew is the bee’s knees of DJs and you will not regret having him emcee your wedding or big event.

Andy w/ Satyr Entertainment was absolutely phenomenal! When my sister got married Andy was her DJ that night, and even though I wasn't engaged at the time my now husband and I knew we wanted to have Andy present at our wedding.

Andy is not your typical DJ who steels your thunder, or makes it a show. He ensures it is solely about the customer,who they are, and what their vision is. He knew exactly how to steer our vision in a way that portrayed us as a couple and did it with elegance and grace. He will always be our go-to DJ for any event.

We met multiple times with him to review the music genre's and "must have" song requests for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only did we get to spend some quality time with him over lunch for him to get a better feel for who we were as a couple.He was so generous with his time and even drove out of his way multiple times to meet us at our venue prior to the actual event in order to plan out every little detail.

He used his great visions to light up the sky the night of our wedding. We had both our cocktail hour and ceremony outside during the evening so there was little light to work with, that is until Andy jumped in and started using his talents which went above and beyond our expectations. The reception was held in a ballroom downstairs, and as we walked in to the room our jaws dropped, it was absolutely stunning! He had everyone dancing non-stop all night long, no one wanted to end the night.

We couldn't have been more wowed by his talents. My husband and I would both HIGHLY recommend Satyr Entertainment to entertain your guests at any event!

Scott was the DJ for our wedding and I can't say enough good things about him. From day one, the entire Satyr team made us feel completely at ease with the whole process. The day of our wedding ran so smoothly; Scott played all the songs we requested and got everyone (including our older guests!) out on the dance floor the whole night! Like and jack made out wedding magical and absolutely perfect! Everyone said they had the most amazing time and danced their feet off all night long! If they had given me more stars, I'd have given Andy DePew way more! Our wedding was amazing and largely due to Andy. We got way more than a "DJ" with him. He ran around every corner making sure everything ran smoothly. He orchestrated the most amazing event. He even carried our bridal party's drinks for us when we all moved to a different part of the venue. He understood our taste in music (not your mainstream wedding/club tunes) and made sure the party never missed a beat. Our guests are still asking for our wedding soundtrack! Satyr Entertainment is worth every single penny!!! I know for a fact our wedding would not have been anywhere close to as much fun if we had chosen any other DJ service. The additional lighting that accompanied was something I wasn't expecting and was beyond pleased with. I kind of want to get married again just so we can party with Andy again! I've joked about having him DJ our kid's birthday party, but I'm slightly serious. Do yourselves a favor that you'll never regret and use Andy and Satyr Entertainment!! Andy is a master at being the master of ceremonies. he made this event all about the bridal party (and not about his showmanship which many other dj's do). he provided music for the ceremony, reception and dinner without missing a beat and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. he also created a flawless schedule for the evening that provided a good flow that ensured everyone would be there when the cake was cut. he is incredibly easy to work with, met with us several times to go over the schedule and play list - this guy knows his music!

We had the most fun wedding, I have ever been to!! We used Andy for the music for our wedding ceremony (played guitar instrumental music like Rodrigo y Gabriella), cocktail hour, the wedding reception and he provided the up-lighting for the reception.
I am not sure if it is normal to have people compliment and be excited about how great the music was before/during/after the ceremony. But, several different guests came up to me at the wedding and some even brought up how great the music was weeks later. The reception tunes were awesome! We had ~40+ people dancing until 12:30 am!
We wanted our guests to have blast, dance and enjoy themselves. We also wanted fun, upbeat, not the totally typical wedding songs to make sure everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. Andy delivered just what we wanted! I highly, highly recommend them for any event!
I have also been to a few other weddings that Andy DJ'd at various locations and they were all great! I like his music choices to keep the party going and the dance floor alive! I totally dig it!

We loved working with Satyr Entertainment. As a gay couple it can be difficult to find a friendly wedding service vendor in a Republican state. It was such a relief to find Satyr ... our DJ Andy was so fantastic! We had a couple loose guidelines (no R+B or electronica) and wanted just fun happy dancing music. Every song was just the right one to keep the party moving, people engaged and spirits high. There were no hiccups,

Satyr Entertainment is worth every penny! I had the pleasure to work with Andy DePew and I can't say enough good things about him. He was responsive, enthusiastic, dependable, and plain wonderful to work with. He took suggestions and offered honest opinions; and I could tell he truly and genuinely wanted to make my reception as amazing as it could be. He met me at the reception site, brought lighting equipment to show me (I'm a very visual person so this helped tremendously), and visited once more on his own to get a better feel for the space. During wedding planning, Andy's confidence and positive words helped to calm down this sometimes frantic and stressed out bride. It helped so very much having confidence that my DJ would deliver everything he promised. I didn't hear one bad word spoken about the DJ and the additional lighting provided added that extra touch the reception site needed. My husband and I wanted a really fun reception and Andy was a big reason why we were successful in achieving that. I would absolutely recommend Andy and Satyr Entertainment.

Andy from Satyr Entertainment was AMAZING!!!! He listened to all my requests and played every single song from a list I gave him. He kept the party going and his song selection was great because he kept everyone on the dance floor and the party kept going! I loved that he played a few songs for every age group and that made everyone very happy becasue it has been a few weeks now since the wedding and everyone still keeps talking about how great the party and dancing was. I did not have to worry about anything or what time it was becasue Andy was tracking time and making sure we were on time for the next thing, like bouquet toss, cutting cake etc.. I cannot say enough great things about Andy DePew with Satyr Entertainment. He turned my wedding reception into a dream! Although we had a few songs we had selected for him to play, the additional songs he chose were perfect. He can read the crowd so well and knows exactly which songs to pick to suit the audience. The song he chose for the last song of the night was so much fun, I can't stop talking and reminiscing about it! The energy was so great that people whom I have never seen dance, were out cutting a rug on the dance floor. Including myself! I also went with the extra uplighting for the reception room and I am so glad we did that. It added so much to the room and made it so romantic and classy. We chose orange uplighting that gave the room a warm, welcoming glow. If you are looking for a DJ for your next event, please look no further. I interviewed several DJs for my wedding and Andy blew them all away.

Andy was an amazing DJ. He listens to what the bride and groom want and follows through. He is very professional and wants to make sure that your event goes off without a hitch. Andy kept the crowd on the dance floor and there was never a lull during the evening. We cannot say enough positive things about the DJ service we received from Andy Depew at Satyr Entertainment. He was courteous and professional (not at all overbearing, like some DJ's can be), he understood our needs and the nature of our event, he chose great "danceable" music, and he kept the evening flowing smoothly and seamlessly. And, perhaps most importantly, he genuinely seemed to enjoy his work and the event. Many guests (and even our caterer, who has attended scores of weddings in Tucson) said that he was by far the best DJ they had ever seen. We feel that we were very, very fortunate to have had Andy a part of our wedding festivities.

Andy from Satyr Entertainment is truly incredible. I can not think of a single thing I would change about his services leading up to and at our wedding. Andy DJ'd and MC'd for our ceremony and reception. He was great at listening to what we wanted, providing suggestions when requested, and even met us a few days prior to the wedding to hash out all final details in person. The music he played was PERFECT - he played music our favorite artists and genre's (such as 90's alternative - not typically known for "dance music") - but finding the ideal dancing songs for the ideal moments. He also seamlessly integrated our eclectic list of "must play" songs. My family and friends truly did not stop dancing the entire night (to include family members that I would NEVER have pictured on the dance floor). If you are considering going with Satyr Entertainment - do it. I promise, you will be so happy you did. Andy - more than anything else - made our wedding the FUN, PERSONAL and MEMORABLE celebration that we were hoping for! Thank you Satyr Entertainment!!

I am so glad I ended up hiring Satyr Entertainment to DJ for my wedding this year. I could not have been more happy with our DJ, Andy. not only did he play everything that we requested him to, he also listened to our requests about what we did not want to hear which is just as important! Andy was an amazing DJ and absolutely key in making our wedding reception the most fun and memorable night of out lives. I am an event planner and have worked with countless DJs in the past and I have to say Andy is truly one of the best in the industry. Satyr was referred to us by our photographer and we are so grateful that Andy was available to be a part of our day. We had countless friends an family members tell us that we has the best dance party they'd ever seen at a wedding. Not only that but Andy honored all of our requests. My husband and I live in Chicago and were married in Tucson. Andy took the time to meet with us two days before our wedding and then proactively offered to be at our rehearsal which turned out to be incredibly important. Andy was honestly the best DJ I've ever worked with. His professionalism and knack for picking up on our personalities didn't go unnoticed. He managed to make out evening romantic and magical while getting all age groups out on the dance floor once it was opened up. Andy was AWESOME from the very beginning of wedding planning to the wedding day! He responded to all my emails very quickly and with a lot of extra information and comments that helped with song choices and decisions. He is very professional, calm, flexible, and easy to work with. He really made an effort to get to know me and my finace and family prior to the wedding, which made the day even more special. My father/daughter dance song was not a studio version, but Andy was able to get the song and make it sound amazing for the wedding. The lighting effects that he provided really added to the tone of the ceremony and reception. I highly recommend him!

Luke Bishop and associates--Scotty, Rham, and Andrew--at Satyr were so helpful and so much fun at our daughter Jillian's wedding in 2011 that the very first thing I thought of when my daughter Anica Rose announced her engagement was, "I have to get Luke!" The date, location, food--none of those things was as important to me as scheduling the event around Satyr's availability. That's how much I love and trust this group.

Anica's wedding really put the Satyr guys to the test. They provided sound equipment, processional/recessional music, and a cool confetti cannon out under our festive outdoor tent, and when a rare, intense Arizona summer microburst storm blasted the wedding, pounding the party with almost two inches of rain in an hour, which blew through the tent sideways with 50 mph wind gusts, Luke and company got soaked to the bone--and never missed a beat, supporting the wedding group and guests with panache and enthusiasm.

Satyr set up and got the reception activities going smoothly, seamlessly, and on time, looking sharp (and dry!), as if the rain storm had never occurred. Satyr not only effortlessly handles a broad range of musical tastes, but they also know how to perk up an audience. At most weddings, the guests sit listlessly and politely ignore the music. Satyr, on the other hand, gets its audiences up and actively participating throughout the night. Luke, Scotty, Rham, and Andrew are performers as much as organizers and emcees, singing and dancing and interacting in warm and funny ways with the guests. Someone in our group requested the music from Grease, for example, and the Satyr guys led guests through a fast, hilarious pantomime of the entire musical. We couldn't have had more fun.

I give Satyr my highest recommendation. They are highly professional, knowledgeable, flexible, sensitive, and personable. I can hardly wait for our son Tristan to find a significant other, just so we can have another party with Luke and the gang.

My husband and I had such a great experience with Andy from Satyr Entertainment that we're trying to dream up some other excuse to hire a DJ!
It was clear from our first meeting that Andy is not your typical DJ. One of the first things he said was, "I don't do cheesy DJ stuff." SOLD! He is so easy to get along with, relaxed, and truly listens to what you want. He's very knowledgeable on every genre and era of music, and will make great suggestions without forcing anything on you. He also has a great sense of humor, which is always a plus. That whole vibe translated to a wedding reception that felt comfortable, relaxed, and FUN...exactly what my husband and I wanted.
We gave Andy a list of must-plays in addition to going over songs that we absolutely did NOT want to hear, and also went through likes and dislikes by decade (40's - Sinatra, big band, 90's - boy band, grunge, etc.). That was a great way to cover all bases, because there were certain songs that I love but had completely forgotten about until we started talking about that specific time period/genre.
The day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Andy did it all; ceremony music and microphones, cocktail hour and reception entertainment, and even uplighting (which looked gorgeous). He ran the show flawlessly - not even a missing toss bouquet could fluster him! He even noticed that my husband and I were confused on what to do as we cut the cake, and kindly explained it to us. I felt completely at ease knowing that Andy was in control and making sure the evening went as planned.
His expertise didn't go unnoticed...several guests commented on how great Andy was, usually as they were swinging next to me on the dance floor! I told Andy I wanted the reception to be a huge dance party, and that's exactly what it was. Working with him was an absolute dream, and we were sad to say goodbye to him at the end of the night.

Andy was the absolute best wedding DJ...ever. Not only did he coordinate the amazing music, but he helped with the coordination of the entire wedding, both ceremony and reception, and was a large part of the reason I stayed calm throughout the whole day. Needless to say, everything went off without a hitch. Also, he has a great personality, and fit right in with our family and friends. Everyone had such a great time, and I can't imagine our wedding without him! Really great guy, and I would recommend him to anyone! I would recommend Satyr Entertainment to anyone who needs a DJ for their wedding or event (and have, often). My husband and I have very different taste in music. Andy managed to mix in some country for me, some metal for him and some fun tunes that the rest of our guests could enjoy, seamlessly. We were working with a really difficult venue (incredibly rude to all of my vendors). Andy did a great job dealing with their attitude problem and managed to advocate for me and what I wanted as well. He showed up early to all of our meetings, provided excellent advice, and was incredibly professional. I cant say enough about how excellent he is.

SATYR entertainment was wonderful and so easy to work with. Not only did Andy tailor the music playlist to what we liked he also knew how to enhance it and keep the party going all night with music mixes that our guests enjoyed as well.

Andy was also detailed to make sure every aspect of the evening's program was just how we wanted it. He took the time to ask correct name pronunciations and make sure we included everyone that we wanted.

In areas that we were unsure what song selections to use he took into consideration our music preferences and gave us music suggestions to think about so we could select the perfect song for our wedding party introduction, etc.

In addition, as an added bonus they also provided lighting that truly transformed the room and made for a warm environment for our family and friends.

SATYR is a one stop shop - music, emcee, lighting and A/V! They worked seamlessly with our video vendor and showed a video during the reception on their huge projection screen. Rather than having to work with multiple vendors it was so great to know that Andy was covering all of those aspects of the day.

The DJ definitely sets the tone for the party and weeks after our wedding our guests are still telling us how much fun the night was!

I would HIGHLY reccommend SATYR entertainment for your next event!

I have used Satyr Entertainment for other events, but this one was extra special; it was our wedding. We met with Andy about our expectations and needs and he was extremely helpful and accomidating. There were nearly 500 people in attendance and we wanted to make sure that the music reflected the attendees and allowed for a fun entertaining night with family and friends.

Andy of Satyr Entertainment provided that atmosphere and more. He also helped us mix a song for a special dance we performed at the reception. In addition, he provided suggested music for certain aspects of the reception and also provided a list of possible songs we may or may not want played. His organization was extremely helpful in our planning.

We couldn't be more happy with Andy and Satyr Entertainment! We recommend them with no reservations and are pleased to support their company.

Andy did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding and we cannot say enough good things about him! He has a wonderful demeanor and has an amazing ability to read a crowd. Andy totally understood the vibe we were going for and absolutely killed it! The music was excellent and people are still raving to us about how great the dance floor was and what a great job the DJ did! He is certainly not the typical 'wedding DJ' who takes over and makes themselves the life of the party, but his genuinely sweet and fun personality definitely comes through. He helped us with all the details for the night from start to finish (ceremony, to toasts, first dance, bouquet toss, etc.) and made sure that the evening ran smoothly and on time.

Andy was an absolute pleasure to work with and we feel so lucky to have had such a great DJ/pseudo-wedding coordinator. Five stars, 2 thumbs up, a giant gold star - however you want to put it, Andy was the best DJ we could have asked for and we would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone!

Andy and Satyr Entertainment were great! All of the songs we requested were played and it was such a fun and amazing night. Andy did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor and I have heard nothing but great things from all of my guests. If I ever get another opportunity to use a DJ I will definitely be using them.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Andy! He was incredibly nice, easy to work with, and went out of his way to make sure that we had everything in place (from the lavelier microphone for our officiant to some pretty lighting for our outdoor venue). He played a cool mix of music during our dinner hour and we loved how responsive he was to our guests who were tearing it up on the dance floor! He wants your event to go exactly how YOU want it to go and is not one of those DJ's who needs to be the star of the show. I know he DJ's at other vendors' weddings which let's you know how much other professionals like and respect his talent. Hire him. You'll be glad you did!

Andy was incredible. He was there with us from start to finish, sent us a great questionnaire before the event so that he could really get a feel for what style of music and atmosphere we wanted, went out of his way to meet us at the venue twice before the wedding, was courteous and respectful. On the day of, he was well prepared, showed up on schedule and actually played the music we suggested-- plus others in the genre that we preferred. He really listens and cares about each individual. I liked that he has a great sense of humor and knows what is current in weddings. This level of service did not stop with Andy. Every member of his team that we had contact with was great. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I ever have the need!

Andy was an OUTSTANDING DJ - we could not give him a higher recommendation to future brides and grooms!! We gave him a tough task - to turn a living room into a dance floor and a driveway into a reception area - and almost effortlessly, he delivered the most professional and fun set up we could have imagined. It transformed the house into a venue - and made all our guests so excited! He also really wanted to have a rockin' dance party - our friends love to dance - and he kept everyone on the floor all night long, changing up the pace and tune based on the crowd. He was fantastic with recommendations, helping us pick a few crowd-pleasers for the opening songs and creating a whole dinner playlist based on a few examples of tunes we wanted. Finally - he was the BEST emcee - so tactfully inserting one or two lines of commentary, enough to give people direction but not creating an imposing distraction. Don't consider going with any other DJ in Tucson!!

Andy DePew of Satyr Entertainment was referred to us by a fellow vender that had a previous booking. I cannot say enough about how pleased we were with our choice of Andy as the DJ at our daughter, Lauren's wedding in Tubac, AZ. Lauren lives in Texas and did not have any problems communicating with Andy via telephone and/or email. He was also very accommodating when she was in town and was available for meetings with us.

The dance floor was hopping the whole night, beginning with a Texas tradition (but new to us), The Grand March. It was a blast! He stuck with our playlist and kept the reception running smoothly all night, he never missed a beat.......

Andy also did the up-lighting for the reception and the architectural lighting in the chapel for the wedding. It added the perfect touch to an already beautiful setting.

Andy DePew is a very charming, pleasant, yet very professional young man and is a lot of fun to work with. I would high recommend him for any occasion or venue!

My husband and I live in Brooklyn but were having our wedding in Tucson, AZ (where my family lives). Andy Depew was recommended to us by our photographer and boy are we glad he was! He was SO accommodating with our busy travel schedule, he met with us whenever we were in town to discuss the music and go over the what we wanted from him. We DID NOT want a DJ who would be a loud mouth comedian (we had been to weddings where the DJ basically took over the wedding). This was NOT Andy's style. He was without a doubt the perfect DJ. He did EXACTLY what we asked of him in terms of minimal announcements. He played most of our songs and added his own pics that were perfect.

He kept the crowd dancing and was a GENIUS at reading the crowd to know what song to play next. If the crowd was dancing with lots of energy he kept the energy up by playing song after song that made everyone want to get up and dance. If people wanted to take a break to eat dessert or something, he played slower songs that made people want to slow dance or just relax before the next dance song.

We got SO many complements from our guests on Andy. Our guests kept saying " your DJ is awesome!" Even now, almost a year later when we talk about our wedding with freinds or family someone always mentions how awesome the DJ was and how much fun the dancing was. We agree!!

Andy was 100% professional and personable, really we could not have had a better DJ. We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone getting married in the Tucson area.

Luke is an awesome DJ! He kept the party going and had great song choices. My husband and I wanted a DJ we knew we could trust to run the reception well and they did just that! Luke listened to everything we wanted and was sure to implement it in the evening. A beautiful wedding reception can be easily ruined by a bad DJ. The guys with Satyr Entertainment were professional and so much fun! If you want a great DJ for your wedding, you can't go wrong with these guys!
