I strongly recommend choosing Sassool for your wedding catering needs. Out of all of the caterers we looked at in the area, Sassool's prices were not only incredibly reasonable, they absolutely blew us out of the water with food and service. The communication was prompt and thorough. We exchanged so many emails back and forth and the detail in which they kept to ensure our needs were met was impressive to say the least; almost as good as the food.
The food they provided was so amazing folks were raving about the entire night. They did not skip out on portions and instead made sure folks had more than enough food from every option available. Even with the salmon, I wasn't sure how it would travel since it was about 40 minutes away but it was phenomenal. If you are looking for great food, great communication, and great service please look no further and choose Sassool. Gabi thank you and your team again for us it was incredible.

Food at our event was hot , fresh , and delicious!!
Catering manager, Gabi, was wonderful to work with and answered questions clearly and in a timely manner .
Catering staff at our event ( Autumn was the supervisor ) were all hard working , polite , respectful, great people .
We can’t say enough good things about Sassool !

Sassool is a rockstar! My now husband and I had many dates there before we got married and we knew that we NEEDED them to cater our wedding. They worked so closely with us to stay in budget and also provide excellent food! I'm not kidding when I said everyone LOVED the food.
One last-minute decision we made was to add their white rice alongside the lentils as a carb option (don't fully skip the lentils!), and it turned out to be a genius move. Not only is their rice incredible (seriously, SO good), but it also offered a familiar option for guests who might not be as adventurous with their food choices.
Sassool exceeded all our expectations and truly helped make our wedding unforgettable. If you're looking for outstanding catering with a personal touch, look no further! -

We LOVED working with Sassool so much! Always informative and flexible. So helpful all around. We will definitely be recommending them to our friends, family, and others. Could not have wished for a better experience in planning and execution. Our guests loved the food and commented on how it was the best wedding food they’d ever had.
Sassool really did go above and beyond with helping with the room flip, helping with taking leftovers to our friend’s car, cake cutting, and the trash. SO AMAZING! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! -

We absolutely loved working with Simone and the Sassool team! They made amazing food at a reasonable price, provided great staff to serve our guests, and they coordinated our linens and dinnerware for us. Sassool is tasty and reliable- exactly what we wanted for our wedding caterer! We got lots of compliments from guests on the food. We would highly recommend Sassool to anyone in the triangle. -

We originally looked at another restaurant to cater our wedding, but thankfully our venue (Beth and Tony Pendola at Old Lystra Inn) recommended working with Simone and her team at Sassool. Absolutely money and time well spent!
Simone was responsive, organized, and her team was absolutely fantastic on the day of the wedding. Going with Sassool also saved us a ton of effort because they bring a lot of their own supplies (table linens, chafing dishes, etc) and they were able to help us out with bartending and cake serving on top of that. The most important element, the food, received a huge host of compliments, including one guest promising us it was the best food he'd ever had at a wedding. The options you have to choose from for the menu are a wonderful mix of healthy and delicious, not to mention fresh. Stop looking for a caterer and hire them! -

I have been a faithful Sassool customer for years, but my (now) husband first experienced the delicious food at our tasting for our wedding catering. The uploaded picture is the FEAST we were presented with to try! From the moment we met Simone to after the wedding, she has been nothing but extremely helpful, kind, and responsive. The catering team was so incredibly sweet and very professional. Our guests have continued to rave about the food and we hope we’ve garnered more loyal customers for them. The best choice you could make for yourself and your wedding is to hire Sassool to cater! The price is more than fair and you will take home all of your leftovers. -

Sassool Did An Exceptional Job Catering Our Wedding
I hired Sassool to cater the wedding reception we had at our home for around 50 people. They did an amazing job. They arrived on time with the food and it was exceptional. The items were presented very professionally. The servers they provided were very personable, professional, and courteous. And at the end of the evening, they cleaned up everything and boxed the leftover food. I didn't have to do anything. I would highly recommend them to cater your event. I am 100 percent satisfied with them, and they went above and beyond to help make the evening special. -

My now-husband and I love Sassool, so we were thrilled when we found out we could have our favorite date night food at our wedding! The catering experience is absolutely the same top-notch quality as visiting the restaurant. Sassool had fabulous variety for us to choose from without being overwhelming, and we got so many compliments on the meal. Coordinator Simone was responsive, flexible, and so kind as we worked out details. She and her staff expertly navigated our out-of-town venue and everything was delicious!! We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer! -

Simone was incredible to work with. She is so knowledgeable about the logistics of catering needs--she was seriously a huge help. Our wedding was at a public park (not a traditional wedding venue) but she was super flexible and knew what questions to ask to make it work. She works with a very affordable rental company for tableware rentals and the table settings looked beautiful. Her staff took care of EVERYTHING food/table/glassware related. We had a self-serve bar but I really didn't want to use disposable cups because I didn't want a lot of waste. Her staff made sure we had enough glassware throughout the night. The cut and served the cake our friend made, and they also brought me and my husband dinner and drinks to our table after our ceremony. According to our wedding coordinator, they were a dream to work with. Not to mention the food was AMAZING! Better than I even remembered it being during our tasting. One of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! Thank you! -

Amazing Wedding Catering Expereince by Sassool!
Sassool did a spectacular job catering for our wedding celebration/vow renewal at Chatham Station! My husband and I loved every step of the process with working with Simone and her team to arrange the details for our special big day. The tasting was so much fun and allowed us to really create really unique appetizer and main meal options. Everyone was blown away from all the delicious foods Sassool catered - us included! It was so delicious. My family is part Lebanese, so not only did Sassool get raving reviews from my family members, but they now can't wait to visit NC and go to Sassool's restaurant for more kibbeh, grapeleaves, and everything else! The bartending services were awesome, as well. My husband and I can't say enough amazing things about them! We highly recommend having them be a part of your wedding! :) -

Simone was very responsive to all my emails. We chose Sassool due to their healthy food and reasonableness on the price. All our guests like the food. We had 3 main courses, 3 salads, 2 sides and a dessert. They also moved furniture for us. The set up was quick and they even cleaned up afterwards. It was an awesome wedding and guests had a good time. Thanks to Simone and her staff for making this very memorable. -

Sassool provided truly outstanding food and service. Simone went above and beyond to help us select the perfect menu, reschedule when we postponed the wedding, and cart alcohol for storage before the wedding.
At the reception, everything went so smoothly. The professionalism and attentiveness of the staff were excellent. Empty glasses were whisked away; guests seamlessly received cake after the cake cutting. The bartender was so efficient and friendly; there was never a long line of people waiting. As the bride, I didn't need to worry about anything--I just vaguely noticed how clean the tables were and how guests were happy and fed quickly as I ran around to talk to everyone. That indicates how high the level of service was.
Finally, guests LOVED the food. I overheard two different guests raving about how the falafel was the best they had ever had. One friend confessed they had eaten three baklavas...knowing cake was to come, too. The spanakopita, roasted vegetables, chicken kabobs--all immense hits! Everything was so delicious! Moreover, all the food, amenities, and high-quality service provided came at an affordable cost.
Sassool was one of the best choices I made for vendors. I recommend all Chapel Hill/Cary/Raleigh couples to use them for their catering needs! Talk to Simone to benefit from her kindness, professionalism, and catering expertise, and to enjoy Sassool's amazing food. -

Working with Sassool was the easiest (and most fun!) part of the whole wedding planning experience. Simone invited us out to try anything we wanted to try before deciding to hire Sassool! We were in love all over again! The food is fresh and delicious! While planning for the wedding, we often found ourselves driving to Cary (100 miles from where we live) for lunch on the weekend because the food is SO good!
Simone gave us great suggestions for what kinds of entrees to choose based on what is most popular with people. We were having a vegetarian reception, and guests were impressed with what all was offered! They were able to meet our every need and even created lavender lemonade as the "hers" drink, and raspberry infused sweet tea for the "his" drink.
Communication was fast and efficient with the restaurant. Messages were responded to very quickly.
I would highly recommend Sassool for anyone's wedding reception! -

Sassol was very good about communicating options and relaying information promptly. They provided a fun, free tasting experience. They provided staff that allowed the family and guests to not lift a finger, by delivering food, managing drinks, supporting with deserts, bussing tables, packing food, and more. We received so many complements on the food as well as the service! -

Debora Sent on 09/07/2018The food was amazing! Although honestly as the couple we barely ate at our wedding haha, but our guests LOVED the food and Sassool is one of our favorite restaurants now. Simone, the wedding catering manager, is super nice, responsive and easy to work with. The price compared to a lot of other wedding caterers in the are is unbeatable, especially for the quality and tastiness of food. Although the service from the serving staff was perhaps not as fancy/high-class as the service that other caterers might provide and there were a couple of moments when the staff had to be reminded to change the trash etc, we didn't mind because we had a semi-formal wedding and we had wedding coordinators that dealt with all of that. The most important thing to us was that the servers were kind and the food was great, which was definitely true of Sassool. One of the servers went out of his way to bring glasses of water to some of our older guests and he did so with a smile on his face. It is people like that that you want around on your wedding day!
