  Beyond happ

  I interviewed several photographers for my wedding and Sasha stood out from all the rest in terms of responsiveness, personality, and professionalism. But what was extraordinary were his photos when looking through all the various photographer's work. Dramatic, chic, sassy, romantic, edgy if you want it to be, unique.
  
  While many photographers can capture your moments, I felt Sasha also made your moments. I find myself somewhat a creative person being a marketing executive for over 20 years, a painter, and have a degree in Fine Arts... Sasha is a true artist.
  
  I was equally impressed that Sasha had an extensive questionnaire he wanted you and your partner to complete. He really wanted to get to know the couple and their personalities so he could compose the photo shoot in advance... already knowing which spots he wanted to take you and what poses he wanted you to do. This made the photo shoot much more efficient... maximizing his time and hence your value.
  
  I cannot express how personable Sasha was. All my friends were thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and friendliness... all commented on how personable he was, making everyone feel at ease. He even invited some of them to do some shots with their families. Can't wait to show them their photos. Planned, yet nimble... that's the way to roll!!

  Simply amazing experience and photos!

  I highly recommend Sasha and will use him again in the future for any photography needs. I am fortunate that I found him via a google search and he was able to photograph our wedding at SF City Hall.
  
  From my first inquiry all the way through the wedding, Sasha has been an impeccable communicator and promptly answered all of our questions as they popped up. He arrived on time and utilized every minute of our 3 hour photo shoot. He knows the building staff/security and was able to navigate all over the building to get us amazing shots.
  
  And how did the photos turn out? Amazing. I normally hate photos of myself however I easily found 40 shots that I loved. He thoughtfully composes each shot, ensures we at the correct angle, and then lights the shots with great precision. Our friends and family raved about the photos and everyone asked, 'who is your photographer?'. Worth every penny spent.
  
  I am excited to have found him and hope to use him in the future.

  First Class Service

  I found Sasha on Yelp while I searching for a photographer with City Hall wedding experience. Ultimately I chose him as my photographer because his pictures are beautiful and dramatic at the same time. My husband and I went with the “cadillac” of packages and Sasha did not disappoint. He was quick to reply to all our emails, prompt to the wedding, extremely knowledgeable about all the nooks and crannies of City Hall, and overall very generous with his time. Our leather album and prints have come in the mail and I could not be happier with Sasha as our wedding photographer!

  We live in Houston, but absolutely love San Francisco that's we decided to do a last minute engagement photo-shoot in San Francisco. So we had little to no time to look for a good photographer. I did a quick online search and found Sasha's page and all of the awesome reviews about his amazing work. His pictures looked very nice, reviews were great, and I've got a good gut feeling about him so I contacted him hoping that he wouldn't decline my request because it was so last minute. He was so nice and so prompt to answer my questions and squeezed us in his busy schedule. The day of the photo-shoot he recommended us the best time to shoot to get the best pictures, made us laugh, and helped calm down my nerves. We really enjoyed shooting with him and the pictures came out beautiful! I am so glad I found Sasha photography!

  Amazing photographer all around

  Sasha is one of the best photographers I know. He combines great people skills which are necessary at events like weddings (including speaking multiple languages which came very handy) and amazing technical skills (low light photography, using backlight and other effects). Great communication, and being very helpful overall. Thank you for saving the great memories! A+++

  I found Sasha by googling "Best Photographer in San Francisco." I reviewed his website and his portfolio. The pictures were absolutely stunning. I thoroughly read his website and then contacted him. He was a book of information for my last minute elopement. I was able to put it together in less than 4 weeks because of all the information he poured into his website and what he shared with me over the phone. He made suggestions for things that I had completely overlooked. We were ready for the big day within a couple of days of speaking to him. The details were a breeze and there was no guess work or pressure for anything additional. The day of the wedding, he was phenomenal. It happened to be the same day as an SF gala and the stairs (a picture I really wanted to take) were completely off limits. As we were making our way to check in - several people stopped to say hi to him (he's quite affable) and to tell us that we had the best photographer. He was able to capture some beautiful creative shots while we were waiting and to convince the magistrate to meet us on another floor (that's usually by reservation only) with practically only a smile. His creativity and vision made out for some stunning photos that I will treasure for the rest of my life. It was very important to us to have a photographer truly capture the moment since most of our family & friends would be unable to attend. We received the sneak peeks in just a few days and the rest of the photos within the time frame we had agreed upon. This was the best experience I've ever had, hand down. In my honest opinion, there is NO photographer better than Sasha. Reach out to him. You won't regret it!!!

Of course i stumbled across this San Francisco wedding photographer looking for the San Francisco city hall page to figure out details/requirements. It was a blessing in disguise. The day of I was running behind and freaking out because we were supposed to be there a little bit before the shoot. He called to check in, and reassured me everything was ok and not to stress. If you are considering doing a city hall ceremony HIRE HIM. do NOT go anywhere else. He knew the place like the back of his hand. Was so calm and collected. Was on top of timing for when to get to the office to sign papers, to making sure we were on time for ceremony. He was more the just a photographer he was like the missing piece of the whole thing to keep everyone where they needed to be and all things in order. He was prompt with our sneak peek photos and even had our finished set to us earlier the estimated time. Quality was worth every penny. The level of professionalism Is five star. Great energy to have on such a crazy day.

  Sasha is absolutely incredible and we consider him a triple threat when it comes to covering a wedding: 1. he's an incredibly talented at his craft with an amazing point of view, 2. he's extremely professional, on time, and just really easy to get along with, 3. he creates beautiful images that will keep us smiling for a lifetime. We are so fortunate to have him be the photographer for our wedding and would absolutely recommend him. You have only one wedding - make it count. At the end of the day, all you have is some memories but mainly the photos will bring you back to that magic day and moment. It makes sense to invest in a talented person to take those photos - Sasha is absolutely the right person for the job.

Not only were we so please with his guidance during the shoot, his pictures were proof of his amazing work.   Prior to the wedding day he was super responsive and friendly with any questions I had, even those that weren't directly related to photography (as he has has a lot of experience with City Hall weddings and knew the ins and outs of the process). On the day of, he was absolutely spot on in every respect. He was friendly and fun to work with, and also kept us all on schedule and efficiently moving through the process at city hall, which can feel pretty overwhelming. He really helped put us all at ease, as he knows how to work well with a large group of excited+anxious people, effectively directing us through posing and also navigating the busy/overwhelming space we were in.

  Sasha is amazing! He was responsive, easy to book, completely engaged and customer oriented! Sasha's knowledge of SF city hall weddings was so appreciated by me and my husband, as we are not from the area and needed guidance on how everything would flow. We relied on him on the big day as we had no clue what the "city hall" process was! As we had no real organization of our wedding - he just went with the flow, moving around on his own to be in the best placement for photo ops and basically coordinated the optimal use of our time. It was such a relaxed event and he made us feel like superstars!

  My husband dislikes posing for photos but Sasha was able to give us instructions that helped us both be comfortable and look natural for our photos. Sasha knows SF City Hall really well and was able to get a lot of great traditional and creative shots for both of our ceremonies. I highly recommend him for your wedding photos!

  We found Sasha after searching online for wedding photographers. What a great choice we made:) Sasha photographed our private ceremony at City Hall and my husband and I were very pleased with his work....our pictures came out great! Sasha was also very responsive to all of our questions (and trust me I had a lot), he was professional, creative and fun to work with on our wedding day. He also kept our guests entertained while taking group shots. Working with Sasha was a really great experience and I highly recommend him! If I haven't said enough let me also say that Sasha was willing to stand in the middle of a busy street, momentarily stopping traffic, to get some of our outside shots....anything for a great picture!! Thank you Sasha!

  My wife and I are from the DC area and we planned a destination wedding in San Francisco, having never been there before. On our planning trip, 6 months before our wedding, we met Sasha at the City Hall. He was on time, professional, and best of all, very knowledgeable about San Francisco. He gave us a ton of advice about City Hall, the weather to expect, transportation, and venues that we were going to be looking at on top of walking us through City Hall and explaining different places we could take photos.
  
  During the time between our first meeting and our wedding, Sasha was very responsive when answering emails. He uses DocuSign for contracts and accepts PayPal for deposits and payments which makes the entire process a breeze.
  The day of our wedding, Sasha was already at City Hall when we arrived. We immediately started taking photos in different locations throughout City Hall. Sasha was extremely professional, but did a great job of keeping things light and fun. In the three hours we had with Sasha, he took photos for us inside City Hall, outside on our trolley, at Fort Point, and at our venue, Cliffhouse.
  
  The images we received have been nothing short of spectacular! We’ve received a ton of compliments on how beautiful they are and can’t thank Sasha enough for all the help he provided and his artistic ability to capture the most important day of our lives.

  Sasha is incredible. If you are trying to document an important life event, he is your guy. If you go to his site, you can get a flavor of his incredible aesthetic (which is why I called him after 2 minutes of browsing his work).   Sasha was the photographer for our civil wedding at the San Francisco City Hall.   Am I the only only one who was more nervous about wedding photos than I was about the wedding itself? My husband and I decided to get married in San Francisco because we wanted a simple ceremony without the stress of planning a huge wedding back home in Chicago. But we still wanted to have some great photos of our special day that we would be able to look back on fondly for the rest of our lives. In fact, one of the reasons we chose to elope to San Francisco was because they have such a BEAUTIFUL City Hall.
  
  As we researched photographers for a City Hall wedding, the photos on Sasha's website stood out as distinctive and absolutely gorgeous. We contacted him, and throughout the process of booking him, he was prompt in getting back to us with questions, always helpful and encouraging, and really easy to work with.
  
  That's great and all, but I still was coming to this with a dread of having my picture taken, and part of me was honestly worried that no matter how good the photographer was, I would end up looking ridiculous in the pictures. On the day of the wedding, Sasha was so professional - he was laid-back in his attitude while confidently directing us from place to place at City Hall and Palace of Fine Arts. We had the opportunity to get to get to know more about him while he got to know us throughout the process. It helped me forget to be self-conscious about having my picture taken, and the results were fantastic.
  
  After getting the photos back and getting to share them with friends and family, we have received so many compliments on the photos. In addition to being beautifully composed and lit, people have commented on how well he was able to capture the happiness of the day. And we were both relieved that the thing we were most nervous about - getting our pictures taken - ended up being such a positive experience throughout.
  
  I am so glad we went with Sasha. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
