We can’t recommend Sarah’s Garden enough for their exceptional floral expertise and heartwarming service. From our initial consultation to the wedding day, they went above and beyond to create breathtaking arrangements. Sheela not only demonstrated a keen understanding of our vision, but also offered valuable insights. Her kindness and dedication were evident throughout the process, making every interaction a pleasure. Wedding Flowers Beautiful and Unique
We had the pleasure of working with Sheela for our daughter's Sonoma, wine country wedding, The flowers were a show stopper, absolutely stunning and creative. Sheela worked with us to develop a vision based on the bride's color palette and motif. Every bouquet, centerpeice and especially the arch, was beautiful and magical. She is lovely to work with and an absolute expert! -

Sheela of Sarah's Garden Design made my wedding floral dreams come true!
It has been such a pleasure to work with Sheela from Sarah's Garden Design. Our wedding was held in an outdoor ranch setting, so the florals were a very important part in adding greenery and color for the occasion. Sheela was friendly, responsive, and very thorough. From our phone call I gave her our color palette and explained to her my vision. We went over examples from her Instagram page so we could both get a better idea of what the florals would look the day of the wedding. Seriously, check out her instagram page (@sarahsgardendesign). Her arrangements are so dreamy. Sheela ended up creating the floral arrangements for a very large triangular arch at the alter, the bouquet, the boutonnière, and loose florals for our cake/champagne table. They were absolutely beautiful and she went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding Sheela!!! -

She'll make your jaw drop
If you've found Sheela at Sarah's Garden, stop your florist search. She is hands down THE BEST! Not only all are her creations beautiful, she listens to your vision and takes it to the next level. Sheela helped me select my linens and finalize the table designs that were SO beautiful it made my jaw drop, literally. If you're looking for something special, she is your vendor, I absolutely LOVED working with her. -

Sheela is an amazing florist/designer and an overall wonderful person to work with! From the moment we met, she understood my vision and worked so hard to make it a reality on our wedding day. Her arrangements are unlike anything I've ever seen. She has a passion for her craft and it shows in her work. Everything was perfect on our wedding day. My bouquet was better than I could have imagined, the centerpieces and garlands were stunning, and the ceremony arrangements and design were breathtaking. Sheela is the nicest person and I wish I could give her 1000 stars! She truly went above and beyond to make my wedding floral dreams come true. You can't go wrong booking Sarah's Garden. -

Sheela with Sarah's Garden was such a joy to work with. From our first meeting I knew I was in good hands--I was an overwhelmed bride who knew NOTHING about florals, but Sheela walked me through everything step-by-step and made the planning process so easy! She is experienced in weddings and clearly very knowledgeable about her craft. She was always very professional and easy to reach if I ever had questions. One of my main concerns was our budget—Sheela was flexible and had great suggestions on how to keep costs down. And everything on the big day couldn’t have gone more smoothly—Sheela did the delivery/set-up/take-down herself, it was so nice to not have to worry about any of it! On top of all of this, our florals were absolutely BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE--from my bouquet to the centerpieces to everything in between. SIMPLY STUNNING. I’m still getting compliments from guests! I can’t recommend Sarah’s Garden enough!! -

I've worked with her on several other occasions (my bridal shower and both of my brother rehearsal dinners) and every time, she astounds my family and I with her beautiful creations! She's extremely easy to work with, very personable, and passionate about her craft; which clearly shows in her work. She brought a calming presence to my wedding day, and I knew that she would be meticulous about every detail. From the bouquets, to the centerpieces and larger arrangements, everything was perfect. You will not regret working with Sheela & Sarah's Garden!

To start off with the positives, the florals Sheela provided for our reception were beautifully and artistically done, and we were happy with the way the tables looked. She also met my husband and I at Pleasanton rentals to help guide us in matching the florals and rentals color scheme, which helped in bringing everything together.
Now to the negatives. Our wedding unfortunately had to be rescheduled due to COVID. At that point, we had already paid the floral deposit and had received the proposal with pricing. When we rescheduled, Sheela stated that we would not be charged a rescheduling fee. However, when it came time to revisit the proposal, the pricing was ~1.5-2k more than the original agreed upon proposal for the same amount of florals. Sheela stated the reasoning was due to COVID causing a flower shortage. We weren’t too happy with the news, but were understanding of the situation, and felt we had no other choice since we had already paid the deposit.
The ceremony pergola, which we had originally been charged $900 for, was upcharged an extra $400. When we looked back at photos, we realized that the entire pergola had 26 roses on it. We understand that COVID had an effect on pricing, but it is hard to understand how 26 roses could amount to $1.3k. The night before the wedding, Sheela texted us to ask if we were interested in having more greenery added to the pergola at “no extra charge.” We agreed, without realizing that what we were actually agreeing to was for the pergola to change from being mostly made up of roses, to having few roses with mostly greenery. We initially believed we were getting a free upgrade, but in the end it felt more like she was just using whatever she had leftover as a way to not have to utilize as many roses, which we found disappointing.
Lastly, we had created a large wooden structure which we spent months on as a centerpiece in our reception area. We asked Sheela to add greenery to the structure to which she agreed and charged us for. On the day of the wedding, we noticed there was no greenery added. When we approached her later, she stated that it was her “professional opinion” that it would not look good so she decided to omit it. Yet, she did not bother to ask/tell us, nor did she automatically give us a refund. When we asked, she said that she could provide a refund IF WE WANTED. We found it frustrating and ridiculous to have to ask for a refund of something that was excluded without our knowledge or opinion.
Overall, we were disappointed with the whole experience of working with Sarah’s Garden. My husband reached out to her about the greenery on the structure and we did get our money back. However, I reached out to her as well with our other concerns in hopes of coming to some sort of resolution and avoiding a negative review, but never received a response. We had budgeted 5k for florals and ended up spending over 8k, and although the reception area was beautiful, we both felt the overall results were not worth the price. Please be advised to support businesses elsewhere.
