Hiring Sarah was hands‑down the best decision we made during wedding planning. From the very beginning, she welcomed us with a thoughtful introduction call and genuinely wanted to understand our vision for the day. She’s warm, funny, and charismatic—while also being a total realist. She offered expert opinions like a true wedding professional, all while bringing so much levity to the process.
During our engagement shoot, she kept Zack and me smiling the entire time. We became instant friends, and I knew our wedding day would be filled with great vibes. And it was. Our wedding day was perfect—and Sarah not only captured that beautifully, she was a big reason it felt so perfect. She and her assistant were on time, gave fantastic coaching, kept everything moving smoothly, and even joined us on the dance floor for a bit. One of my favorite moments was realizing my two‑year‑old niece had somehow ended up in Sarah’s arms.
Sarah worked closely with our wedding planner to make sure the timeline stayed on track and that our photography expectations were exceeded. She did far more than I ever expected a photographer to do. When we received our photos earlier than expected, I loved that she even recommended making a night of it—reliving our beautiful wedding day together.

It was the best photography/ photo shoot experience of my life & I have had multiple photo shoots, including my first wedding. Sarah is a phenomenal wedding photographer and would highly recommended her work and services!
My husband and I had been together 14 years yet never done professional photos nor were used to public displays of affection.
For our wedding, we were looking for someone we could feel comfortable in front of, that could give us needed direction, that was highly organized and accountable yet calm and adding confidence vs stress to the day, that could direct but laugh with our mix of friends and family, and finally someone that would take initiative and work well with the other vendors throughout the day.
Sarah turned out to be all that and more. She made us feel so at ease from the first phone call, first listening then offering suggestions. To our surprise, we had a blast at our engagement shoot and, to our even bigger surprise, loved every photo! I assumed we’d be so awkward and hoped for a few good shots - the photos captured the day - perfection.
The wedding weekend was no different. Our friends and family loved Sarah, as did our vendors. And the photos speak for themselves. We had so much fun and are so thankful for the memories Sarah captured, We absolutely love her work and would highly recommend her! -

WOW. Sarah is the best!! If you're looking for a true to color wedding photographer, your search is over! Sarah's work speaks for itself-- she has an incredible eye for capturing beauty naturally. We didn't want the super soft, washed out lighting that is so common in wedding photography, and we were immediately drawn to Sarah's ability to capture people and nature just as vibrant and dynamic as they are. For both our engagement session at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and our wedding day at Rava Wines, Sarah really captured the beauty of both venues. I am so happy the gorgeous natural settings were represented so authentically! As people who are not used to posing for photos, Sarah coached us through different angles and poses that look like... us! She had so many fun and creative ideas to make us look incredible but not forced. And not to mention the candid photos!! She always seemed to be in the perfect spot to catch a huge smile or crazy dance move!
In addition to the quality of her work, Sarah is such a wonderful person to work with. She is super responsive and always available over text, and is very transparent with managing expectations and availability. On our wedding day, Sarah was more than "just" our photographer! She gave us electrolyte mix for our water bottles because it was so hot, she helped my mom figure out how to zip up my very tight dress, and even patched me up when I got a blister on my heel from my shoes. She was so present and hands-on, and it was amazing to have her attention and support throughout the day. I have the highest respect for Sarah's work and the deepest gratitude for who is she as a person. Thank you SO MUCH Sarah!!! -

I honestly can't express enough how much we loved working with Sarah. We eloped at the Santa Barbara courthouse and, truthfully, we weren't the most prepared. We weren’t totally sure where to go or how the process worked, but Sarah immediately put us at ease. She showed us exactly where to go, explained everything clearly, and captured the most incredible photos along the way.
We're not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but you would never know it from the photos Sarah took. She made us feel relaxed, gave just the right amount of direction to help us look natural, and always checked in to make sure we were happy with what she was capturing. She balanced professionalism with genuine warmth, and by the end, it truly felt like we had a friend guiding us through it.
After the courthouse, we headed to the pier to meet family and friends. We had been planning to Uber there, but Sarah was so thoughtful and offered to drive us herself. At the pier, she captured the best candid shots of our family and friends. Those photos genuinely captured the spirit of the day. We're so happy to have them.
On top of everything, Sarah sent us a bunch of sneak peeks the very next day and delivered the full gallery within a week. Start to finish, the experience could not have been better.
If you're considering working with Sarah, absolutely do it!!! She was one of the best parts of our wedding day, and we’re so grateful we had her by our side to capture it all. -

Oh my goodness...where do I even start.
Sarah was an absolute dream to work with. I had been looking at wedding photographers and had described what style I was looking for to my wedding planner. There are SO many photographers out there and my wedding planner immediately recommended Sarah.
We had an initial conversation with Sarah and agreed that she felt like a great fit for us. We did an engagement shoot with Sarah in Montecito at the most gorgeous setting where she captured sunset photos of Anthony and I. They were absolutely beautiful, she gave easy to understand direction, and we knew we were going to be in a great spot for the wedding and that we had made an amazing decision.
The thing about Sarah is that she will ALWAYS be looking for the shot. She wants you to look natural and be yourself and she captures the moment perfectly. We loved the photos from our wedding. There was a beautiful mix of portraits, candids, and detailed shots to remember our wedding day. We didn't hire a videographer and Sarah (without us asking) captured photos AND a video of our end-to-end first dance at the most beautiful angle.
Sarah is SO communicative. You have a question -- she'll text/call you immediately. You want a specific shot -- she's there. During our cocktail hour, she whisked us away to take us to the very top of the vineyard to capture stunning shots. She was cognizant of our time but wanted to make sure we had beautiful memories captured of our day.
The last thing I'll flag is Sarah's unreal turnaround time. I've heard of photographers taking months to provide you any photos...Sarah ON our wedding night gave us the most beautiful photo album of some photos that she printed ON SITE for us to take with us. She also sent us sneak peek photos two days after our wedding and we already have all of our photos and we got married less than a month ago.
If you're looking for a rockstar photographer who is fun, is a beautiful artist, and listens to what you want, call Sarah. I'm so glad we did. -

Sarah was the ultimate elopement photographer. I live in a different state and Sarah made sure to take the time to have a phone call with myself and my husband prior to our elopement in SB. She made us feel comfortable and confident that the work she does would be excellent for our upcoming wedding.
On the day of the wedding, Sarah had excellent communication regarding meeting place and time and was at the courthouse waiting for us prior to our appointment. Her expertise in the SB County Courthouse made picture taking and setup very efficient for the time we had. My husband and I do not take a lot of pictures and she made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process, especially for having never met her before the day.
Finally, she sent sneak peaks the SAME DAY with gorgeous selections to get us excited about the final products! The final gallery was delivered about a week after our elopement and we can't stop looking at the beautiful images she captured. We are more than happy with the pictures and moments she captured on our special day.
Highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a phenomenal photographer! -

Sarah is phenomenal!
If you are considering Sarah, book now! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her for the last couple years; she generally shoots weddings at a venue I manage. When I first met her, I knew she was different, she has this amazing glowing smile, she’s fun and has a passion for photography. I’ve enjoyed seeing her in action with various couples and have always been impressed with her final product. I recently hired her to do a photo shoot of my partner and I and our bulldog. We had never done a professional photo session before and were very nervous and stiff. Two minutes into the session she had us laughing uncontrollably, directing our poses, and made us feel like we were models. She is incredibly talented, makes the best dog noises to get their attention and provided us with photos that we will treasure for our lifetime. It was such a pleasure to be on the other side of the camera. Now I understand why everyone loves her as much as they do. We love Sarah!!
We just got our wedding gallery back and are on cloud 9 all over again as we relive our wedding day through the pictures that Sarah took. Everything from the details to the party were captured beautifully. We have the best mix of classic posed pictures and fun candids of our guests, which is exactly what I was looking for in a wedding photographer. We can’t wait to print these and share them with our loved ones. Beyond the quality of the pictures, Sarah is the dream vendor to work with. Sarah is absolutely amazing. We worked with Sarah to shoot our engagement session, rehearsal dinner and wedding. She captured every moment beautifully and was a pure joy to work with. We had never taken professional photos before but Sarah made us feel very comfortable from the get go. She is also a great director and really knew how to get the best out of us and our family and friends. She is extremely friendly toward everyone she interacts with - all of our guests were raving about how great our photographer was. She even brought over dessert to my elderly grandma who has trouble walking. Throughout the entire process she was very upfront and thorough. If you’re planning on hiring Sarah for your wedding we would highly recommend adding the engagement shoot to get to know Sarah and feel 10x more comfortable on your actual wedding day. Timeless, ELEGANT, Fine Art Wedding Photographer
If I could give 100 out of 5 stars I would. Sarah was my favorite vendor to work with and even the label “vendor” now sounds peculiar to me because she feels more like a FRIEND. First and foremost, her talent is unparalleled. She is a master in her craft. My husband and I take photography very serious as we are both wedding photographers ourselves in Northern California. I vetted and compared many photographers in the SoCal region but in the end we really wanted a timeless, classic and well documented day. Sarah was the perfect photographer for photos that will look elegant for a lifetime. We are so happy with all the moments captured and she made us look and feel like movie stars! Sarah is the best!!!
Hiring Sarah as our photographer for a last minute elopement in SB was the best thing I could've done! From the start, Sarah was so communicative and knowledgeable about the elopement process, including when and how to sign up for a courthouse appointment, that I knew we were in good hands. Come elopement day when my (now) husband and I met Sarah for the first time, she immediately took charge of what had started off as a stressful day, making us feel completely at ease with her bubbly and warm personality.
Not only does Sarah have a great eye for photography, but she also knows how to direct you to get the best shots! I'm someone who never knows where to put my hands (or honestly any part of my body) for photos, and Sarah made it so, so easy. We've never looked more natural, and the photos came out just how I wanted--intimate and sweet, while capturing the charm and beauty that is Santa Barbara. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos done, and she made us feel so comfortable immediately. From my first conversation with her, to the actual photo shoots, she was so friendly, professional, and talented! She shot engagement photos for us at the beach, we brought our pup which could have been chaotic, but Sarah guided us and the pup to capture us in our element so perfectly. She had us all laughing, and enjoying the entire thing, it was so fun, and I am in love with the photos! Sarah was an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I were so lucky to have her be part of our special day. Above and beyond
We highly recommend Sarah for any couple looking for an engagement/wedding photographer! She is truly amazing. We don’t take photos often so we were worried that we would feel awkward during our engagement session and wedding, but Sarah made us feel comfortable and confident. Not only did we love Sarah, our families did too! They raved during our wedding day and afterwards about how great she was and how gorgeous the photos are. We are not from the Santa Barbara area so we weren’t sure about photo locations - Sarah came ready with beautiful location recommendations. So if you’re coming from out of town, you will be in great hands with Sarah. We are still in awe of our engagement and wedding photos. We can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so beautiful. I knew I wanted to get Sarah for my wedding for about a year before my wedding day. Her work is everything that I was looking for: bright, elegant, and timeless photos. Come wedding day, she was so sweet and professional. She knew where the perfect locations are for photos. She helped hold my pup too! I got my photos pretty fast and oh my... they were absolutely beautiful. I love them so much, I spent the next 3hrs just gushing over them. Sarah did an amazing job being our elopement photographer! Not only did the photos come out great, but her planning and direction were top notch. She is very knowledgeable about where and when to take photos on the Santa Barbara Courthouse lawn. She took charge in making sure people stepped out of photos being taken of us. Sarah did great directing us where/how to stand and pose. We never felt hesitant because she had such great control of the allotted appointment time. Santa Barbara Elopement
Sarah is the absolute best! She shot both our engagement and elopement photos and we couldn’t be happier. She is fun to work with and makes you feel comfortable right away. She helped us choose locations that would work for the weather and even helped plan the timing of our elopement. She also was able to give suggestions for vendors in the area! I can't stress how great it was to work with Sarah. Planning a wedding (elopement or otherwise) is beyond stressful and she made our day SO much better. We're never in front of a camera (have no idea how to pose - what do you do with your HANDS?!) but she guided us every step of the way. She was able to command my family (like herding cats) and knew the ins and outs of the courthouse process. She essentially became our wedding planner for the day too, bless her. Aside from her insane talent she is easygoing and funny and I'm sad I don't live in SB anymore and won't see her around. You 100% get what you pay for and Sarah is worth it all. -

Wouldn’t pick anyone else
I can’t rave about Sarah enough!! From her professionalism to knowledge about the area and also her photography skills. I initially reached out to several local photographers simultaneously and Sarah was the first to respond and by for the most warm and helpful person I encountered. My husband and I were lucky enough to find Sarah during our wedding planning process, and what a blessing she was to us!!
We went into the wedding planning process knowing that our wedding photos were THE top priority. Knowing that, we went seeking out the best photographer for our big day. It did not take us long to find Sarah and realize she was the perfect person to capture our big day!
From the engagement session on the beach she made both of us feel so comfortable and confident. Neither of us have had much experience in front of the camera but right away she knew what to say to help us loosen up and have some fun with it all! It was a fabulous experience, and made us even more confident in our choice for the wedding day!
Come the wedding day Sarah was better than I could have dreamed. She was on time and organized, and stuck to the photo timeline we had established before hand. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got on Sarah from all of our family and friends. Even to this day they are blown away by how kind and talent she was!!
I was further blown away by her timeliness. We had AMAZING sneak peeks from the day only two days after the event and received our entire wedding album around 3 weeks later. They all came out genuinely amazing. I still look them all in awe everyday. She truly captured our day, all the detail we planned to all the love we shared with our family and friends.
Sarah comes with more than just amazing photography skills, but she also has a kind, thoughtful heart who wants to help you in your wedding planning! Phenomenal!
Sarah was the absolute best photographer we could have hired for our wedding. After viewing HUNDREDS of photography pages I was lucky enough to find her. Looking at her work I instantly saw her artistic eye and her ability to capture moments uniquely for each couple that she photographed.
On my wedding day, she really made the most of our time with her and consistently provided my husband and I direction during our photos to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. My fiance hired Sarah for a surprise proposal photoshoot and a 1-hour engagement session after. Every step of the way, Sarah was excellent! She was quick to respond to my fiance and coordinated everything seamlessly. Once I arrived at the spot, she was discreet to not ruin the surprise. When we finally met for the longer shoot, I was instantly at ease. Taking engagement pictures is awkward- posing, PDA, being overly excited about everything- and Sarah was great at handling everything! She was easy to talk to, had tons of great ideas, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. From making sure I could handle certain types of terrain in my shoes to ensuring that my short dress would be fine for any lift photos, she was professional and prepared every step of the way.
Sarah shot our photos on Sunday; by the time we were sitting at dinner an hour later, she had sent us 5 pictures already edited. By Monday we had a gif, and by Thursday we had the entire gallery. Not only are the pictures gorgeous, but Sarah's efficiency, professionalism, and outstanding quality made such a difference for us. We are so lucky to have worked with her and would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone! Thank you so much, Sarah, for being a part of one of the most special days of our lives! -

Photoshoot of our dreams!
We booked Sarah for our engagement session and positively LOVED the entire experience of working with her! She was so prepared, professional, and creative. Before our shoot, she checked out locations ahead of time, since many of the beaches had been impacted by the recent rain. She then communicated throughout the week, ensuring we could have a back up plan if needed. Fortunately, the original location worked out perfectly, and we were able to get the beach and mountain backdrop we had hoped for! But honestly we could have taken pictures anywhere and she would have made them look phenomenal. We truly can’t say enough great things about her work, and highly recommend her for anyone looking into engagement/wedding photography! -

Where to even begin! We did a session with her for our civil ceremony, we previously talked about how this was more of a engagement shoot redo since I wasn’t too happy with how my last photos came out (a different photographer) she asked me questions. Day of she directed us WHICH WE LOVED & APPRECIATED! She was so professional and focused, she got shit DONE within one hour. She was creative & fun! Sarah was beyond amazing! My (now) husband and I have always been camera shy and were nervous about taking pictures, as we felt the process might feel awkward. Ok so I finally have a moment to sit down and write a review. I don’t even know where to begin. Sarah is amazing. My wedding was messy, flawed and chaotic… especially for a small wedding. But Sarah captured the moments of the stillness. I look at the photos every day, not even joking. Not only are the photos absolutely breathtaking, there are SOO many. I loved that Sarah shared some details about herself. It made the experience fun and natural. Im super awkward when getting pictures taken but Sarah made it super comfortable.
