The most stunning photos!

My husband and I had the best experience with Sarah at our September 2024 wedding...we can't recommend her enough! She made us feel comfortable and brought fun energy to every shoot...not to mention her pictures are SO stunning! You can tell she really loves what she does, and she captured our special day so beautifully. Anyone getting married in 2025 (and beyond) needs to book her!

We love Sarah!

I knew early on in the wedding planning process that I wanted to work with Sarah. I absolutely love her style and after speaking with her for the first time to go over what we were looking for and our timeline, I knew she was the perfect fit. Planning a wedding can be so stressful especially when talking about the timeline. Sarah was absolutely amazing and really eased all concerns I had about our timeline. She made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable and she was just such a breeze to work with. Our photos are absolutely stunning and I would recommend her to anyone -- her patience, professionalism, and creativity made our day just that much more special. We love her!

Sarah is the absolute best!

My husband and I hired Sarah for our engagement pictures last year and also for our wedding this past July. We both tend to be shy until we get to know people… but Sarah’s fun, high energy pulled us out of our shells immediately when we first met her for our engagement shoot— and so she was able to capture our true selves, our personalities evident in every photo. We couldn’t wait to work with her again for our wedding. In preparation, we had many email and phone calls about what style of photos I was looking for. She also helped me plan out the timeline of our wedding specifically so that we would be able to escape during dinner for some golden hour pictures, as I had told her that that type of glowly lighting was what I was wanting in our portraits! When the evening ended up clouding over and blocking that golden glow, I have to admit I was worried about how much I would like the pictures. However, when we received our online gallery 2 months later, I couldn’t have been happier with our photos! Sarah managed to use the little evening light that we did have to still capture absolutely beautiful shots. She clearly understood what I was looking for from all of our conversations over the past year… and she nailed it!!! Both of our parents and our entire bridal party loved her as well. She went above and beyond in so many ways, including waving around a gummy worm as a reward to get our overtired little ring bearer to smile (she got the shot)! There were also so many candid photos (sweet, funny, emotional, you name it) in our gallery that we had no idea were being captured on the actual day. My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience with Sarah, and we cannot recommend her enough!!!

Sarah is amazing!

Not only is Sarah an amazing wedding photographer, she’s such a fun and caring person. She made everyone feel so comfortable getting their photos taken and she was SO helpful (detangled my tornado veil, bustled my gown, helped clean sand off my feet – truly the Jill-of-all-trades!). Sarah really does listen to her clients and understands how to capture such special moments. There are so many pictures from our amazing day that I didn’t even realize she had taken and every one of them came out so beautifully. Thank you, Sarah!

Amazing photographer!

Sarah Murray was the perfect photographer my husband and I could have picked for our cape cod wedding . She was so kind , responsive and amazingly talented . My whole wedding party and family (dog included !) adored her and how on point she was the whole day . 10/10 would recommend her for your wedding ! Not to mention her photos are all beautiful !

The absolute best

If you are getting married in Cape Cod, no, getting married anywhere, you NEED Sarah as your photographer. My husband and I cannot more highly recommend her. From the beginning, in our initial discussions in 2019, she was kind, patient, and organized. When the pandemic first hit, she reached out multiple times, asking how we were doing, truly caring about us as a couple and asking how she could help support us as we postponed our wedding party several times. We ended up having a micro ceremony in 2020 last minute outside, and she captured the day so beautifully, and we have an album where we are obsessed with every single photo. She has this masterful eye that is able to capture not only moments, but the essence of people – the joy and happiness in these whirlwind days. We also asked Sarah to be our photographer in our postponed October 2021 party and again, she was a dream to work with. From phone calls to emails, she was on top of every detail leading up to the party. On our wedding day, she felt like my good friend, making sure people were giving me water or a bite to eat between group photos. She truly had my back. So many of our guests also commented on how good she was, orchestrating the group photos, and how nice she was. She gave us a few sneak peak photos within 24 hours and I still do not understand how she did that so quickly. The photos were perfection and my husband and I got emotional looking at them. Sarah is without a doubt the person you want as your photographer at your wedding and any future event. She is incredible at her craft and as a person, and we are lucky to be able to now call her our friend.

So amazing

My now husband and I had so much fun shooting with Sarah! My now husband and I hired her solely based on phone calls, so the first time we met was on our wedding day! She was AMAZING. Sarah was fantastic all around!

Sarah was fantastic all around! We ended up with a wonderful collection of photos that captured our wedding day beautifully. The formal portraits were stunning and the candids really captured the emotions of the moment. Sarah and her assistant James were both incredibly nice and patient throughout the day, also with the kids in our wedding party. They captured the ceremony and reception key moments without really being noticed by us or our guests, which was perfect! Throughout the whole process, Sarah was incredibly easy to work with, and planning for the big day was simple because she knew exactly what photos to take. Would highly recommend!

Best Photographer Around!

Sarah is a true professional! We did a photoshoot years ago as a family and I knew when it was time to get married, she was the first person I would go to! Sarah is not only professional, but extremely personable. From our first phone call, you can really tell she loves what she does and is genuinely excited about your big day. I had so many questions and changes throughout the wedding process and Sarah was so helpful and communitive the entire time! We had a short number of hours due to budget constrictions, and Sarah made it work perfectly for us along with her amazing assistant James. They arrived on time, and started right away making sure they captured every moment for us. She was calm, cool, and collected even when I wasn’t and moved the timeline along with ease! She also made sure before she left that we had everything we needed and was so attentive the whole wedding day. We received a preview of 5 photos less than a week after our wedding! The quality of work was nothing short of incredible, and we were blown away when we saw them! Sarah even made sure to surprise us with our gallery early December so we could have our Christmas cards out before the holiday! A wedding photographer is a huge decision and investment, so we wanted to make sure we chose the perfect person. We are so happy with our decision and will cherish our wedding photos forever. We loved Sarah! Nicest person ever :)

Sarah photographed our wedding on 9/29/18 at The Dennis Inn and she was absolutely fabulous! From the first conversation she was so nice and positive and made the planning process extremely easy. The day of she was so efficient and we barely felt like we were being photographed! She captured amazing candids that we will treasure forever. The very best in wedding photography!

I knew that I chose the right photographer from our very first conversation. Sarah made me feel extremely comfortable during our first (of many) chats. She was thorough, professional and friendly, a great combination! She met with us for our engagement session and she also made my husband comfortable in front of the camera. After the shoot, he said that Sarah made it fun (huge win if you have a fiancé/husband who is not a fan of photos)! When we got our engagement photos back, we absolutely loved them! It made us very excited to work with Sarah on our big day. Sarah was extremely helpful in planning my day of time-line. That part was very stressful and she made it much easier for me! On our wedding day, it rained...hard. You don’t ever picture your day with rain but knowing Sarah would have a vision, made me feel much better about the inclement weather. Our photos came out beautifully! You actually wouldn’t have even known it was raining in most of them! Though, one of my favorite photos is of my husband and I inside while Sarah shot through a rainy window. I can’t say enough good things about Sarah (and her assistant, Caitlin)! I would highly recommend her as a wedding photographer and I can’t wait to have her shoot our family again!

Amazing!!!

I could go on forever about Sarah! When my husband and I started booking our vendors, we knew that we wanted an amazing photographer! We found Sarah on the Knot/ Wedding Wire and then found her Instagram. She has found her calling! We booked an engagement session with her, and she was so helpful and made us feel so comfortable! Amazing experience and gorgeous photos

Choosing a photographer was very important to me. My husband and I aren't very comfortable in front of the camera and we really wanted to have beautiful pictures to capture the memories of our wedding day so that we could always look back on them. We ultimately chose Sarah because from the first phone call, she created a connection with us. She asked us about our history as a couple, our families, and our hobbies and we bonded over snowshoeing. We had scheduled an engagement shoot with her, but it was for the one Wednesday in November that it down-poured. We wanted to send our save-the-dates with them before our families started to receive holiday cards, so we weren't able to leave enough time to reschedule. Sarah was so helpful in the entire wedding process - she sent us a book with tips for the planning process and helped me to narrow down the timeline for the day of. She took detailed notes on what portraits we wanted and made sure to help with any difficult family drama. She was also very responsive to emails, which I greatly appreciated.

My husband and I aren't a couple that spends much time in front of the camera and we had an awkward start, but Sarah and Caitlin helped us to loosen up. Their supportive and friendly demeanor put us at ease and their reassurance made us feel like naturals in front of the camera. We received our pictures on Friday and I can't stop looking at them - we're absolutely obsessed! There are so many pictures and candids from our cocktail hour and reception that we feel we were able to look back on every single guest! I can't recommend Sarah enough and we're so thankful to her for capturing our wedding day and leaving us with gorgeous pictures to help us remember the best day of our lives. Thank you Sarah!

We got our pictures back yesterday and love them! Sarah captured our day perfectly. The candid pictures during our ceremony and reception are our absolute favorite. As we started planning our wedding, my husband and I knew that choosing a photographer was going to be one of the biggest decisions for us-we are certainly not naturals in front of the camera, and we wanted someone who could make both us (and our families and bridal party!) comfortable throughout our wedding day. We first met Sarah at our engagement shoot, about a year before our wedding, and were blown away at her ability to instantly make us feel at ease-she had us laughing at her jokes and commentary throughout the shoot, which ultimately led to incredibly natural photos. We were so impressed with our engagement shoot, and knew that our wedding would be in very capable hands! When our wedding day arrived, Sarah and James were amazing at keeping the day flowing naturally-I never felt exhausted or "over" taking photos. They were great at capturing shots naturally, and even the formal portraits felt like they went by so quickly! We've only seen a sneak preview of our photos, and I am already SO impressed and can't wait for the rest of the shots!

Where do I even begin? Sarah is one of the most kind, caring and thoughtful people I know. Hiring her was the best decision I made for our wedding and I would recommend her without pause to anyone who is looking for a photographer. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease when she is photographing you and she took care of, not only me and my husband, but our whole wedding party.

We had the unfortunate luck of having our engagement photo shoot rained out four times and Sarah was flexible and understanding and we settled on a day and time that worked on both sides. She is thorough and detail oriented and really makes you feel taken care of.

Everyone in the wedding party had such nice things to say about Sarah during the wedding and even after. She went above and beyond her responsibilities and we will be forever grateful that she captured our big day.

Words can not describe how amazing Sarah is. She not only took the most gorgeous pictures on our wedding day, she was on top of everything the entire wedding process. Sarah was the best decision of our engagement and wedding! From the moment we met her, she was absolutely professional and amazing. She captured every moment of our wedding in the most perfect way. We are so happy that we decided to book Sarah Murray to photograph our engagement shoot and wedding. From the first conversation we had, it was clear that she was going to be the perfect photographer for us. At our engagement shoot, she did her best to help us through the awkwardness that comes with posing for romantic photos with a stranger; we were laughing the entire time and she made it really easy for us to act natural. Because of her help, we were able to get photos that didn't look too stiff or posed but were the perfect candids capturing us as a real couple.

Now to the wedding... first, Sarah does an amazing job at making sure things move along on time prior to the wedidng. She is very organized and on schedule and was able to keep us all in order when it came to getting the informal and formal photos before having to head to the venue. Also, Sarah and her team captured some awesome pre-wedding ceremony shots of the girls and guys getting ready. She knew that we didn't want anything too "formal" and did a great job with grabbing photos that really captured the moments. They also did an awesome job of capturing the fun moments of our ceremony so now we can look back at how happy of a day it really was. We also loved how the formal portraits taken after the ceremony were not too formal. Sarah took very natural looking pictures, as well as capturing the awesome beach background our venue offered. She really had an eye for what to shoot and we loved every picture.
Finally, Sarah was able to take some awesome reception photos, mixing candids of the party as well as some group photos with our friends and family.

She truly did an amazing job with capturing all of the best moments of our wedding day and we were so happy to have had the opportunity to work with her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome photographer!

My husband and I were married in May 2018. One of the first vendors we booked was photography. Neither of us like to be the center of attention and we literally have no pictures without sunglasses. Sarah was absolutely phenomenal - she totally understood our vision and executed it perfectly. She helped us relax in front of the camera and captured so many beautiful moments. She was so accommodating, responsive and easy to work with - she worked with our venue to ensure we had a contingency plan for rain (which sadly we did have to use). Sarah is simply the best. If you're looking for a photographer who is sweet, talented, calm, and fun to be around, Sarah is your girl! After initially speaking to Sarah on the phone, she made me feel at ease about the whole day and I immediately told my fiance, "This photographer sounds awesome. Let's meet up with her ASAP." Well, needless to say, we booked our wedding day with her and could not have been more happy about that decision. Having both Sarah and Jim as our photographers for our special day was one of the best decisions we've made, besides the actual getting married thing! Sarah was so fun to spend the day with. Sarah was the TRULY the best. You honestly have no idea what to do or what to expect on your wedding day. Having Sarah truly made me so relieved and calm. She knew exactly where to tell us to go to get the perfect shot. She took control and directed everyone in the wedding party while keeping it cool, collective and professional. I have been recommending to all my newly engaged friends and would not think to work with anyone else for any future events in our life. We so enjoyed having Sarah as our photographer for our September wedding! Sarah shot our wedding as well as our engagement pictures! She was absolutely amazing and was completely flexible with us when we had to let go of our previous photographer. She fit us right in and was happy to meet us to take new photos for us. As soon as we met her we knew it was meant to be! We both felt so comfortable with her. My husband is normally not one for pictures and takes a little time to open up but she was able to break him out of that shell right away and he felt completely comfortable being himself! Both Sarah and her second shooter, Caitlin, was absolutely amazing at our wedding! They made us as well as all our guest feel at ease and captured the whole day beautifully! Days later people were telling us how much they loved them, how sweet they both were and were so fun to be around. We can never thank them for how amazing they are! They understand how important it is to have quality photos of your wedding and they went above and beyond!

We traveled from Indiana to have our wedding ceremony in Cape Cod, and Sarah was amazing from the very start. My family fell in love with her. She was very helpful with the planning of our ceremony. With the distance between us, I was a little worried about picking a photographer I knew nothing about, but she did not disappoint, and we couldn't have picked a better photographer to capture our special day.

Sarah was fantastic! She was extremely easy to communicate with prior to our wedding and day of she was hands on but not intrusive. She works with our venue quite a bit and many suggestions of where to shoot and communicated with our venue coordinator on coming early and using the venue if it was raining. I found when price shopping that for Sarah was the best value when comparing quality and price! Sarah sent our pictures to us 2-weeks ahead of when she promised them and we love them all! Bonus: she sends fun care packages when you book her!

I highly recommend Sarah Murray Photography! I met with Sarah in person before we signed the contract and she was so helpful in answering my questions. Sarah was very organized, responsive, and flexible leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding we were running a little behind schedule, and Sarah and her assistant were calm and still managed to take all of the family portraits before the ceremony. Sarah was even helpful in areas that didn’t involve photography like helping with my bridal bouquet and the bustle of my dress. We received all of the pictures from her only a few weeks after the wedding! My husband (like most guys) usually hates pictures but even he couldn’t stop scrolling through them and thought they were amazing. The pictures of my husband and I came out fantastic with beautiful scenery and lighting. Sarah also captured moments that I didn’t even realize she was there for. The wedding day went by so quickly that I can’t thank Sarah enough for these pictures that we will have forever to look back on.

Sarah and her second shoot Caitlin were exactly what we were hoping for! They were so much fun to have around on our big day and were on top of everything! We booked Sarah as our wedding photographer after meeting several great candidates. I'm a crazy person and organized a rating system and all that, and she came out on top. But beyond that, we hired her because has a great mix of familiarity and professionalism, which is tricky. Our wedding isn't until next year, but we did just have our engagement shoot. My fiance and I, as I'm sure most of you out there, hate having our picture taken. I'm truly not photogenic, in the sense that I'm very cute :) but it just does not come across in pictures. But Sarah made us both look great! The shoot itself was so fun (and she was so accommodating when scheduling and choosing a location) and we are so happy with the results - truly happier than either of us expected to be. She was great about including our puppy in a few shots, and gave us a lot of advice about how to carry ourselves. We both feel significantly more relaxed about being photographed constantly on our wedding day based on this experience with Sarah - we're so glad we chose her!

Sarah is amazing to work with! We had our engagement session with her a few weeks ago and within a few days she had posted a sneak peak online, and then in less than 2 weeks she had all of our pictures ready for us to view and download. Now for the pictures... They came out better than I could have ever imagined!!! We had so many different shots and they all came out beautiful. She has such an amazing and artistic eye. Our engagement shoot was scheduled for an hour but she ended up shooting us for over an hour and a half because we all were enjoying ourselves so much and the lighting was perfect! I can't say enough! We love our engagement pictures and are now even more excited for our wedding with Sarah next year!!! Definitely go with Sarah Murray as your wedding photographer!

Sarah was very accommodating with all of our requests. We had asked for less formal photos and she was so helpful in getting together our entire wedding for one giant group shot. She was also responsive to our wanting to spend more time with guests and less time at a photo shoot. Sarah was able to leave her assistant with my husband, while he got ready and stayed with me, while I got ready. She took my shoes, dress, rings, etc., and found creative beautiful places in the house to get special shots. She also paid close attention to details that mattered- (i.e. the band, the ribbon around my flowers,) just by paying attention!
The photos themselves are stunning. She was creative and thoughtful and I'm pretty sure got a shot of each and every person there!! She managed to capture so many moments.
My only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend with her as she was obviously a kind and fun person!

Sarah photographed my wedding at the Dennis Inn in June. She was absolutely AMAZING.. very professional, but so much fun to work with at the same time. We had a lot of requests for big group pictures which can be difficult, but she managed to keep everyone's attention and they came out awesome. Her assistant, Caitlin, was also great to work with! I was so pleased with the service and professionalism of Sarah and her photographer. They put both of us at ease during the entire day, she knew the venue very well so we were able to have great photos indoors and outdoors even with the weather changing constantly. She took great candids and shots through out the entire evening and when I think back about the night she blended in so well with the guest that it didn't feel like a photographer in your face the entire night. Also our USB of photos and link to photos was available 16days post wedding, which was awesome! Hire her!

Definitely book with Sarah! My fiance and I were traveling to Cape Cod for a friend's wedding and thought it would be the perfect time to get our engagement photos done. I researched some local photographers and came across Sarah, I immediately loved her photos and her price!
She took care of everything. She suggested places for us to have the shoot, worked with our schedule and sent me details of pricing, contracts, addresses; even provided her cell phone in case we had any last minute issues.
Not only was the shoot great but the pictures turned out even better. I am having a hard time narrowing them down. If I lived in Cape Cod she would for sure be doing my wedding as well!

Sarah is refreshingly talented, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend her photography services to anyone looking to capture some moments that can be treasured forever.
I actually planned to propose to my girlfriend during our couples photo shoot. I planned the weekend months in advance and Sarah was so supportive and helpful in the planning process. She was very flexible. She even had a plan B, in case it was raining hard that day. I must have emailed her dozens of times in the months leading up to it, trying to plan and work out every detail to make sure it would be as perfect as possible. I could not have asked for a more patient and kind person to help with this big day.
When the big day came, Sarah made things so easy. She was very professional in verifying our meeting spot the night before and morning of the shoot (which was a surprise to my girlfriend until a few hours before the shoot). Sarah made us feel so welcome and was wonderful at getting us to loosen up about being awkward in front of the camera. She gave directions when necessary, but also let us be ourselves. She even went out of her way to get a rose for me to give to my new fiancée after popping the question.
There is no one else I would recommend more. If you want engagement, couples, or wedding photos - Sarah is your girl. Her photographs are gorgeous works of art and her friendly, easy-going personality eases any worries for those of us who don't feel as comfortable in front of a camera. I know who will be photographing our wedding!

Sarah was so wonderful to work with! We had done engagement pictures with another photographer but we're not happy with the experience or the end result. When we met with Sarah I was nervous it would be awkward like the last time but she quickly made us feel at ease and comfortable. We were able to get so many great engagement pictures I wasn't worried at all about the wedding.

Sarah took the time to talk to us about not only what we wanted from our wedding photographer, but about our relationship and families and what is important to us.

I could not be more happy with the end result. The pictures are simple and beautiful, and truly capture our wedding day. Anytime we threw a curveball at her, from adding an extra hour the week of the wedding to last minute photo requests, she had us covered with grace.

All communications with Sarah were clear and quick, and her turnaround time was amazing!

A message from the bride...We never met Sarah before booking with her but after one phone call it was apparent that she was the right (very perfect) choice! We didn't do our engagement pictures right away but Sarah was flexible to meet us on a very chilly but beautiful day on the Cape a few months before our wedding. After meeting her, we couldn't have been happier. Sarah made us feel so comfortable. She is truly an amazing person to work with!
From the moment Sarah arrived at Wychmere cottage on our wedding day, she put everything at ease - especially for me. I always knew that I wanted to take our engagement photos with the same photographer who was going to shoot our wedding, I knew it would give us the opportunity to meet our photographer, get comfortable and learn her style. I was blown away by how comfortable we were shooting our engagement photos with Sarah - I kept saying "this is so fun, I didn't know it was going to be this fun!" We had an absolute blast, she didn't rush at all and made sure we had fun, got a little silly and she was creative when we wanted to include our pup in several photos. I was beyond pleased by the end result and the presentation of our engagement photos, she has me even more estatic for our wedding next summer and I have no doubt we'll be blown away by Sarah once again!

My fiancee and I decided on Sarah Murray to be our wedding photographer for our 2016 Cape Cod wedding and, after shooting an engagement session with her, we know that we made the right decision. From our initial contact with her, to shooting the session, Sarah was exceedingly approachable, friendly, sensitive to our particular wants, and generally is just an awesome woman who takes amazing photographs. We felt a little awkward about taking engagement photos, but Sarah made us feel totally comfortable and somehow managed to get a ton of pictures where we look anything but awkward. Throw in that all of Sarah's services are beyond reasonably priced, and she is clearly the only choice for your Cape wedding or engagement photos. We cannot wait to work with her again at our wedding.

Sarah is extremely flexible, professional and makes the moment not feel as awkward as it might be! The night before the engagement session it was supposed to rain, the ONLY day of rain in weeks, and she was super flexible to change the session not once, but twice, and then back again to the original time! It made me feel great about putting my faith in her to handle anything that may come up on the day of the wedding. Thank you Sarah also for such a quick turn around time so that we could get our save the dates out quickly! Great experience so far and look forward to our wedding day with her!

Sarah was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She worked quickly to adapt when the weather took a gusty and cold turn and still managed to get amazing shots. She made sure that we got all of the shots that we wanted and shots that she wanted as well. I 100% trusted her to use her judgement for the pictures the whole night and it was one thing that I truly didn't worry about from the moment she arrived. I knew and trusted her expertise and her vision and could just focus on having the night of our lives! We cannot wait to see the final pictures because the sneak peek was already stunning!

We hired Sarah for our wedding in September and I can't say enough good things about her! She is amazing and so easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, she was so calm and ensured that we got all of the photographs we wanted and were on schedule. So many of our guests came up to us at the wedding and commented on how great she was. We also received all of our wedding photos a little less than three weeks after our wedding which was so exciting! I would definitely recommend hiring Sarah to photograph your special event!

Sarah photographed our rehearsal dinner, as well as our wedding day. We absolutely loved working with Sarah from start to finish (however, I don't think I'm quite done as I LOVED her so much I want to her be present for so many important life events!) Viewing Sarah's website, I knew her photo quality was excellent, but I didn't know how great it truly was until I received my wedding photos. I could not be happier with the outcome. My parents, relatives, friends, are amazed at the quality of the photos. Not only is she a great photographer, she has a wonderful personality. Throughout the wedding day she was helpful, and reassuring, knowing exactly what to do at each moment. She fit right in, and I could not be happier with all of her services. We didn't do an engagement session, but my husband still felt very comfortable with her as she has such a warm personality. Also, if you want someone who is very present and responsive, you'll love her.

We had our Engagement Session at the beach, and the pictures came out beautiful. Cannot say enough about how great Sarah Murray Photography is! We hired Sarah to shoot our wedding next year and did our engagement photo shoot with her this summer. From the start Sarah went above and beyond to make it a great experience. We had some bad luck with weather and had to reschedule a few times - Sarah was very easy going and super flexible with rescheduling. When we were finally able to get together, Sarah made us feel welcome right from the start. She also worked with us to find a location that would be unique and special for the photos. She was very accommodating and open to using all of the crazy props we brought with us - and the photos were spectacular. She also gave us extra time for our dog to join us the end of the shoot. Highly recommend if you're looking for an awesome photographer!

Update: Sarah was AMAZING at our wedding this past October, went above and beyond as she did with the engagement photos and I'm happy to say that there are so many awesome pictures we're having trouble choosing just a few to frame!

Earlier this Summer, Sarah photographed our engagement pictures and I am thrilled to say they came out better than I could have ever imagined. Sarah was very professional, yet warm and we eased into our session on the beach very quickly. We had our engagement photo session with Sarah in July and she will also be shooting our wedding next summer.

After my initial phone conversation with Sarah, I had no doubts that she was the perfect person to work with for our wedding. She was so easy to talk to and was so genuinely excited for us and our big day.

We are from out of state, and Sarah helped us choose the perfect spot to take our engagement photos. She was also very flexible that day, as we were keeping in touch each hour hoping to dodge the pending storm! We ended up shooting the photos a little earlier that day than planned, and they turned out better than I could have ever hoped. Not only were the photos gorgeous, but we also had a blast with Sarah. She is wonderful to work with.

We received our photos so quickly from Sarah - she told us we just had to see them! It's obvious how much Sarah loves her job and the people she meets and works with.

I cannot wait to work with Sarah again next summer on our wedding day!

I can’t say enough great things about Sarah. She was extremely warm and easy to get along with upon our first meeting. I am not one to get photographed often, so this instant chemistry was so helpful to make me feel at ease. We had our engagement shoot as well as our wedding photographed by Sarah and all of the photos came out amazing!

Sarah is so professional every step of the way and knew how to direct us so that we produced awesome shots. It is evident that Sarah has a ton of experience in weddings/engagements and that was super helpful. I trusted her with every detail and knew that she would do a great job. I have never worked with a professional photographer before so I didn’t know how the process for prints worked, but Sarah made it so easy to access the pictures and to obtain high resolution files. Sarah was professional and focused on every detail from the initial meeting to the engagement session to the actual wedding. She and her assistant did an incredible job of capturing the feeling and spirit of the wedding day and blew us away with both the quality of the photos and the way they managed the formal photo process while also letting the wedding party be themselves and have fun! Sarah was so patient and has such a great ability to really capture the emotion and atmosphere of the wedding and somehow managed to get candid shots of every single guest during the cocktail hour/reception. She also turned the photos around extremely quickly, sending a flash drive (in an adorable little box!) with the final photos within two and a half weeks. We could not be happier with the final result and are so happy that we selected Sarah Murray Photography for our wedding photography.

Sarah shot our engagement photos and will be photographing our wedding this summer. We're very happy with her work! She took our vague description of the look we wanted and chose great locations. Everything was professional, friendly, and prompt, and she made the shoot easy and lots of fun (even outside in 38 degree weather!) I can't say enough wonderful things about Sarah and her assistant Tina. From the moment I found Sarah and her work and then spoke to her on the phone I knew she was the photographer for us. Leading up to our wedding she was professional, responsive, and organized. On site she was all of these things in addition to being a calming force who could help wrangle 20+ family members for the pictures we just had to have, while being energetic and creative and even willing and able to jump on a sailboat with us for our surprise boat arrival. I knew I'd love the photos she would take but I didn't realize how many moments she captured that I didn't get to see firsthand but feel so lucky to have on film; the looks my parents gave each other while we were on the alter; the dancing bridal party entering the reception and many more; they're all so special and ones we're now able to look back on.

We are SO happy we were able to have Sarah photograph our wedding! We really wanted to have a lot of happy, joyous, candid shots of our wedding and Sarah definitely delivered! It was a perfect balance of candid and posed shots. We had a lot of kids at our wedding, and the pictures she got of them were some of my favorites. Somehow she even managed to get all 100 of our guests to pose for a group shot which turned out really great. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were thrilled with Sarah's work! We were planning our Cape wedding long distance but working with Sarah put us at ease throughout the whole process. Every step of the way Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, whether it was meeting with us beforehand to go over logistics, scouting out the location of our wedding to find good photo spots, or catching the littlest special moments that may have been missed by someone else. Sarah Murray Photography was excellent! Prior to the wedding Sarah was great at communicating, she responded quickly to all my questions, gave suggestions when needed, and helped with logistics and time lines etc. She even went by the ceremony and reception site prior to the day to check it all out. Day of she captured that challenging balance- the emotional, the serious, and the fun. She was one of the few photographers we spoke with who seemed ok with us not wanting to do a first look, and while the after ceremony couple and family shots can understandably seem a bit hurried for us they went pretty seamlessly. She has a style that put us at ease in front of the camera while also keeping us on track to get all the shots we wanted. She sent us a few teasers shortly after the day and those, along with the full set later on, had us quickly picking out favorites. There were great shots of our guests, of all the details and of course us as a couple. I really love her style of photography and would highly recommend her. Out of all our vendors she was our favorite- for the quality and style of her work, but also for pleasure of working with her.

Sarah did an amazing job photographing our wedding! She was very responsive prior to the wedding day, was flexible to meet our needs, and extremely professional over all. She checked in a couple days before the wedding to let me know that she'll be there and just to see if everything was still according to my schedule, which was extremely helpful, as it was one less thing I had to worry about it. On the wedding I met Sarah for the first time, and she was extremely cool and professional. She was great with our little flower girl, invisible during the ceremony, and made adults at ease during portraits photography after the ceremony. Now to the important stuff: the photographs...they were perfect! Sarah had difficult lighting conditions because our chapel was quite dark with only one skylight and the outdoors portraits were taken in the middle of the day when the sun is extremely harsh. Despite these difficult lighting conditions most of our photographs have soft lighting, interior architecture photography was exceptional (and I've worked with great architectural photographers for work) and more importantly nobody had raccoon eyes or harsh shadows, and our pictures look soft and light.
Sarah also suggested a couple cool staged pictures for my husband and me that seemed cheese at the time, but turned out great in photographs and are now our best shots that are framed in the living room. In short we loved working with Sarah, got great shots of our wedding and will definitely work with her again if we have another milestone event in our life. Highly recommended!
