Truly the best!!!
Hiring Lillie as our wedding planner was, hands down, the best decision we made. She is incredibly responsive, creative, sweet, and organized, and she consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself. We trusted her so much that we even booked our venue sight unseen based solely on her guidance, and it turned out to be perfect.
As an out-of-town couple, we relied heavily on Lillie and her team to steer us in the right direction. They executed our vision flawlessly and connected us with vendors who aligned perfectly with what we had imagined. Lillie also coordinated seamlessly with both sides of our family, always with care and professionalism.
On the wedding day, we truly had a blast with the entire team. Their presence was calming, fun, and reassuring, and the day turned out to be everything we dreamed of and more.

When planning a wedding in our dream destination, we knew we needed a planner who would make us feel confident coordinating a Charleston wedding from Chicago. We were introduced to Lillie through a few friends who had worked with her and shared the most beautiful wedding photos, and after our very first call, we knew she was the perfect fit.
Lillie is incredibly calming, confident, and thoughtful. We came to her with lots of ideas but no clear vision, and through her attention to detail and amazing taste, she helped us transform those ideas into the wedding of our dreams.
What could have been one of the most stressful times of our lives became one of the happiest and most exciting. Lillie kept us organized and on track, found creative ways to work within our budget without compromising the elements that mattered most to us, and leveraged her incredible network of trusted vendors. She encouraged us to explore different ideas, tastes, and styles while remaining a truly collaborative partner—always guiding us in the right direction with her experience and expertise.
Because we were planning from out of state, Lillie coordinated a single on-site trip where she was exceptionally prepared, ensuring we were able to see everything we needed in person. During that visit, we met with our floral and invitation vendors and completed our tasting seamlessly. This was the first wedding my family had ever planned, and Lillie was endlessly kind and patient—answering questions from both my mom and dad and taking the time to explain each step of the process so we felt completely at ease heading into our wedding weekend.
On the day of the wedding, Lillie and her team were absolute rock stars. No detail was overlooked, everything ran flawlessly, and we were surrounded by an incredible team we trusted completely. When people ask how our wedding went, the only answer is perfect. It was truly one of the best days of our lives, spent fully present with our family and focused on our love, because Lillie and her team handled every detail behind the scenes, creating the wedding of our dreams. Planning a wedding from out of state felt overwhelming at first, but the moment we connected with Lillie, everything shifted. She was organized, thoughtful, experienced, and genuinely cared about making our day not only beautiful, but meaningful and stress-free.
From the beginning, she took the time to get to know what was important to us—our style, our priorities, what we wanted the day to feel like. She helped us find the perfect venue, introduced us to incredible vendors (she found our incredible DJ and world-class photographer), and handled every detail with incredible professionalism.
She kept us on schedule throughout the planning process, communicated clearly and consistently, and had an amazing way of turning even our vague ideas into something stunning and cohesive. Her design sense is impeccable, and her logistical skills are next-level. Every little detail—from the timeline to the table settings—was seamless.

As mother of the bride, I was tasked with “interviewing” wedding planners for my daughter’s May 2025 destination wedding in Charleston, SC. From the moment, I started talking to Lillie of Sarah Lillie Designs, I knew she had the perfect mix of creativity, attention to detail, and calm, kind demeanor that would be the right fit for my daughter and me. She was also very conscientious of how to make the biggest impact with our budget and explained tradeoffs clearly with venues and vendor choices.
I don’t even have the words to fully express how grateful we are that we chose Lillie. My daughter’s vision was very personal and bespoke with a lot of moving pieces and Lillie helped us bring it to life in the most amazing way. Her vendor choices were just outstanding - with their talent and as people. We really enjoyed working with all of them - Lillie was able to match what we wanted with the right stationary/paper designer, florist, music choices etc. Lillie was also a great sounding board for the thousands of details that made my daughter’s wedding magical, always available and with great ideas to create the most perfect experience.
My daughter's wedding day was so full of love, fun, and joy. I got SO many compliments about literally everything and every single detail was perfect. This rarely happens but the day was flawless thanks to Lillie. We could not have done it without her! Now that we are a few weeks out, I really miss talking to Lillie because she also became a friend.
I still tear up thinking about how magical the day was. If you’re lucky enough to work with Lillie, know that you’re getting someone who truly cares—not just about the event, but about you. Highly highly recommend!!

Lillie was incredible! From the beginning design stages to the execution day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Lillie was organized and we always felt reassured that she had everything sorted! The stress of planning a wedding was taken away and we were able to enjoy the whole process.
Day of, I was blown away by Lillie and her whole team. The day went off without a hitch and the team was by my side if I needed anything. We saw our whole vision come to life and we can not thank Lillie and her team enough! I would recommend Sarah Lillie Designs to anyone!! -

An eye for design that is truly unmatched
Words cannot describe how over the moon my now husband, Tristan, and I feel to have found and chosen Sarah Lillie Designs for our Charleston wedding. We felt so overwhelmed with the wedding process from the beginning, and we met with a bunch of Charleston planners to figure out who we felt was the best fit. To say Lillie was a good fit would be an understatement. From the beginning, Lillie’s personality and presence was calm and inviting, while also being focused and motivated. Sarah Lillie Designs quickly understood our taste/style and seamlessly delivered an impeccable design. She was quick to understand our vision and not only executed on that vision but added her own experience and ideas to really bring our events to life. Her thoughtfulness and eye for design shined from beginning to end. We felt we were able to share our opinions or express anxiety openly with Lillie, and she always helped ground us while also being on top of our requests or questions. This was crucial as we were not local to Charleston. We are a couple that tends to be very specific and know what we like, and Lillie helped us to feel calm and excited about the timeline, our vendors (which were all AMAZING!), and particularly the design. Lillie’s eye for design is simply unmatched. She nailed it all. Many of our guests expressed that the wedding felt very “us,” and this was largely due to Lillie’s creativity, attention to detail, desire to get to know us as a couple, and collaboration. She is very easy going, which helped during such a stressful process. On the day of our wedding, not a thing was out of place. We were both able to enjoy every minute of what felt like a seamless and perfect weekend, all thanks for Sarah Lillie Designs!!! -

I truly cannot imagine my wedding day without Lillie. She is so talented at what she does, not only in the planning aspect but in her impeccable design eye. She really listened to what we wanted our day to look and feel like, and brought our ideas to life in a way I couldn't have even imagined. Adding her own touches along the way that so perfectly aligned with our vision too. Not only did she make my wedding day such a breeze, but she was also there every single step of the way during our year of planning. She made every decision so much easier and less stressful. Lillie has such a calming yet confident demeanor which is exactly what I knew I needed surrounding me. I cannot say enough good things about Lillie and would 1000% recommend her to anyone considering working with her. Lillie is a must.
Lillie is quite literally an angel on earth. She’s a YES person. If you have an idea. YES it can be done. Her recommendations are definitely the best in the business, and made the wedding planning process SO stress free. She was always a phone call away, and truly felt like a friend by the end of it. I could go on and on about little situations that Lillie just handled for us. When my friends talk about how stressful wedding planning is, my answer is YOU NEEDED A LILLIE. Wedding Design/Planning GENIUS!
Disclaimer ... I am an ex wedding photographer so when it was my day as MOB there was potential for it to be a tough gig for our vendors. Not for Lillie and her team though they excelled at every turn and made our experience at the The Dewberry Hotel in Charleston completely magical. Outstanding performance, crew and design, we felt in great hands every step of the way and we loved every minute. Very thankful they were available for our day. -

As the groom, I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into with planning a wedding. So many decisions to make about dates and venues and locations. It was a lot. Lillie helped me be a big part of bringing it all together with my now wife and absolutely CRUSHED it. The day was absolutely incredible and full of so much joy. I felt like I was just as involved as my beautiful bride. Lillie helped guide us with every aspect while inspiring creativity I did not even know I cared about. The confetti cannons were a nice touch and she made sure we got our special confetti pictures. She was an expert in color and design and kept the theme on point, even when I started getting some crazy ideas. It was truly an unbelievable day and we are still beaming the biggest smiles ever as husband and wife. Knowing we wanted a “destination” wedding we quickly zeroed in on Charleston and Lillie quickly got to work scouting venues for our perfect day. She was our guiding light from the linens, to teaching us about charger plates and design, drawing up vision boards to show us the looks. She absolutely nailed it. As a couple from out of state who planned a destination wedding for 80 guests, what started as a “we just want to show up” turned into absolute perfection. She made everything a seamless process even though we were out of state. She kept us updated but also kept us to a timeline that made sense so we did not get ahead of ourselves. She kept us cool when we were over thinking, and kept us engaged when we were feeling overwhelmed. Lillie guided us on every little detail. Those details are what made the wedding. The timeline was so spot on and our guests are still talking about all the perfect little details that made our day so special. Her creativity is unmatched, she is beyond professional, organized, responsive and knowledgeable about her craft. She was so excited about our unique flower seating chart and showing us she truly loves what she does. She is very involved and provides value to the planning process making you feel like you’re the only bride and groom she’s working with. She contemplates details we would never think about, explores ideas you bring to her and provides honest opinions, and anticipates problems before they occur. We truly felt like guests at our own wedding and were blown away.
Lillie really shined with helping develop our theme and color scheme. We were able to bounce ideas off her and she would get excited along with us. In the constant barrage of social media influence, she knew all the trends and what would truly be important to make our day special and intimate. In person meetings with an amazing florist, she knew perfect flowers for the occasion which was not our specialty. She explained everything and added pictures to a vision board for us to see how everything would tie together. She provided so much inspiration but made sure that we had final say in everything. Every vendor she led us to was exquisite and detail oriented just like Lillie. She even drove us non-driving New Yorkers around to our vendor appointments and tastings.
Both of us (bride and groom) felt very involved in every aspect of our wedding. She helped us find inspiration in things we did not even know we cared about. Even the groom started bouncing ideas off of Lillie because she got him so excited for our special day. In today’s fast paced world, it is easy for people to let the small details slide. Lillie was there with us every step of the way and gave not only us, but our family and friends too, a wedding to remember for the rest of our lives. We can’t wait to plan our 10th anniversary with her, lol.

Lillie is one of the main reasons our wedding was as perfect as it was! Throughout the whole planning process, Lillie was so patient, reassuring, organized and extremely helpful. Every thought, question, concern we had Lillie was there with the answer or solution right away. Communication was easy even when I was deployed half way across the country, she still made it work for us! She took a lot of pressure off of us and made sure we were solely focused on each other and having a good time day of the wedding. Sarah Lillie Designs, Lillie was AMAZING. I am so glad we decided to go with a wedding planner for our wedding. With Zach & I’s crazy work schedules due to our military service, Lillie took the reigns, our vision, our budget into mind. She was even there during some of our uncertain moments, providing order to chaos. She made it easy & all we had to do was make a few decisions, show up, & enjoy it all. Lillie was IMPERATIVE when it came to the ins and outs of our wedding. She was THE reason my wedding went off without any hitches.
