Absolutely perfect natural glam - hire Sarah!
Sarah was fantastic; she worked with me to settle on a look that I loved. She took into consideration my concerns about oily skin, and the makeup she did looked wonderful all evening. The updo was better than I could have imagined — chic, flirty, and effortless-looking. She also saved the day for my soon-to-be husband by covering a pimple, and she stepped in to fix up my mom’s hair at the last minute after a nearby salon didn’t do a great job. You'll be in good hands if you hire Sarah. -

Sarah is absolutely incredible
I asked for fairy make up and showed some very random inspo photos- Sarah understood the assignment! It’s my favorite make up look I have ever had. She was so lovely. Every make up look for my cousin’s wedding was different and she nailed every single one. The bridal glam was tops. I can’t recommend her enough! -

I cannot recommend Sarah enough - she is not only a funny, sweet, and easygoing person, but she is also a genius with makeup and puts you at ease right away when you're in the chair. Sarah did my mom's and my hair and makeup for my wedding and she totally nailed it. Neither my mom or I typically wear much makeup, but she gave us both beautiful looks that also felt light and comfortable, not to mention lots of staying power throughout the night. Sarah made it super easy to schedule a preview, talk through my preferences, and was accommodating to any changes I had. Don't hesitate go with her, you will not regret it! -

BEST in the game!!
From the bridal trail to the big day Sarah made my bridal makeup a dream. Before the trial we had a quick call about my vision and the vibe of the big day. During the trial she nailed the look I wanted. I’m a big “trust the artist” type of person, and at the end she made some amazing suggestions that I didn’t even think about for my wedding but was very excited about. Fast forward to the big day and she OUTDID herself! Starting off by making me feel so calm, she gave me an amazing facial massage. Then I let her do her magic (on a very sleep deprived face). She added the touches that we discussed at the trial that would really make the look pop at night. I loved that she knew what the look needed during the trial and then amplified it for the big day. I felt so beautiful and everyone commented on how amazing my makeup was all night long! -

Sarah is the BEST!
Sarah did my wedding makeup, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Sarah is patient, collaborative, and so fun to work with. I don’t wear much makeup, and was worried about looking different at my wedding. So many people commented on how I looked like an elevated version of myself, which is exactly what I wanted! She even convinced my mother, who is recently in remission from cancer, to get light make up done, and the work was stunning. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough! -

Sarah is such a joy to work with. I did a bridal preview with her before the wedding and she nailed exactly what I wanted; I only had one minor tweak for my actual wedding day and Sarah adjusted perfectly. Sarah was recommended to us by a friend, and she was able to work with us despite us reaching out only two months out from our wedding date. My makeup didn't move an inch on our Wedding Day; I barely even had to touch up my lips. Her work is art and her shining personality shows she truly cares about you throughout the entire process. Couldn't recommend enough! -

Amazing experience!
I booked Sarah to do my hair and makeup for my wedding a couple weeks ago, and she was AMAZING!! I had done a makeup and hair trial with someone else before Sarah and I hated my makeup so much and I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to find someone who would make me look amazing, but really subtle. I booked a trial with Sarah and the magic she worked was just incredible. I had airbrush makeup done which I loved as someone who really doesn’t like feeling makeup on my skin. I am sooooo picky about my hair and makeup and Sarah was so flexible and never got offended when I wanted to make tiny adjustments, or bring my own lipstick to use on the day of! She also was so attentive and helpful in the months leading up to my wedding as I tried to narrow down my vision.
I will add some of the professional photos once I get them back, but the masterpiece that Sarah created with my hair was stunning. I think just about every single guest (and everyone I’ve shown photos to) complimented my hair. She brought my dream look into a reality, and I have never felt so beautiful!! Also Sarah really went above and beyond in the getting-ready room with me lol, helping me put on my shoes and getting my train straightened out before my first-look. She also was such a good person to have by my side during that time - when we had a moment alone, she asked me if my mom or anyone stressed me out or anything so that she could get a heads-up on any hiccups we might face. It was so comforting to me that she was thinking about things like that! I really felt like she was in my corner that whole morning/early afternoon.
I definitely spent more than I originally planned on hair & makeup, but honestly Sarah is worth everyyyyy penny. I didn’t have to touch up my hair or makeup the entire night, and it felt so good that I had 100% trust in Sarah after my trials. Also another note - we had a really small wedding, so we didn’t have bridesmaids or groomsmen - it was surprisingly hard to find makeup artists who were willing to travel for just the bride’s hair and makeup. I am super thankful that Sarah was willing to do so! Trust me, you will not regret booking with her!! I trust her with my life at this point!! -

Sarah was one of my favorite vendors that I worked with for my wedding. She was incredibly detailed in taking notes and remembering exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup look. She made me feel incredibly comfortable during all our conversations so I could best describe how to achieve my intended look. My mom and bridesmaids also adored her and Kristin in giving them their ideal looks for the wedding.
Another amazing thing about Sarah: I work intense hours but whether I email her at 6 am or at 10 pm, she always responds within 10 minutes! It was a dream to work with her and I would choose her again in a heartbeat. -

Sarah Kahn Artistry is amazing! I hired her and her team to do my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding. Throughout the wedding process we communicated a lot about my hair and extensions. Sarah guided my through the process of getting my first extensions and helped me find a match. She also did my hair trial, my hair for my bridal shower, and of course for my wedding. All the bridesmaids LOVED their looks too!
Sarah has great attention to detail and a warm vibe that was a fantastic addition to my getting ready vibe. 10/10 would recommend. -

Working with Sarah for your wedding, or any big day for that matter, is the best decision you could make. Sarah is so incredibly professional, responsive & talented. The hair and makeup she did for my wedding was exactly what I wanted and then somehow a million times better than I could have envisioned it being. Most importantly she made my mom, mother in law and sister feel radiant and confident. I had a tiny wedding/wedding party and having Sarah (& Kristen!) there to help us get ready was such a perfect start to the day. They joined into the festivities seamlessly. Makes your dream look become a reality!!!!
You do not want to pass up hiring Sarah for your bridal hair and makeup. Very professional, great variety of makeup colors and options. She had my examples of what
I thought I wanted and suggested some minor changes that were perfect. After our trial, I had a list of things I wanted different (which was all my fault for not knowing much about makeup) and the day of the wedding she remembered them all. I felt so bad my eyes kept watering from allergies and she must of fixed the makeup at least 8 times before I left like it was no big deal. She also helped me keep calm and relaxed while making me look pretty. Thank you so much Sarah for all your patience and help on my special day!!! -

Best makeup artist ever
Sarah was so sweet and flexible. She came to my apartment multiple times to do my hair and makeup. She advised me to get extensions, which was the best decision for my hair for the wedding. She was so flexible and easy to talk with when I kept adding people who needed their hair and makeup done! I also changed how I wanted my makeup done and she was really accommodating and got it exactly right. And on the day of the wedding — Wow. I got so many compliments on how gorgeous my makeup looked. Couldn’t recommend her more! -

Sarah really brought my vision to life for the wedding day and helped me source extensions for my hair, which I'm SO glad I ended up doing and having a professional who knew how to work with them. She was super nice and went above and beyond helping to style little last touches as my first look got started - even pinning the boutonniere onto my husband LOL. It helped me to have a clear vision of what I wanted walking in so I wasn't surprised by anything and could talk over what I was hoping for! -

This review is long overdue, I haven't been able to forgot the amazing job Sarah and her team did for my wedding! She gave me 3 beautiful looks for my engagement session, bridal portrait session, and Wedding Day! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for my hair and makeup and Sarah did a fantastic job interpreting my vision. Her team also did an amazing job styling all of my bridesmaids! Due to COVID we decided last minute to change our wedding to a small, intimate ceremony with our immediate families. About a month out from the wedding I contacted Sarah to do my bridal hair and makeup and luckily she was available. Throughout the process Sarah was so friendly and professional. With one consultation call and some inspiration photos, Sarah was able to create the absolute perfect natural makeup look and low bun hairstyle I wanted for my wedding day. Working with Sarah was a true pleasure. Not only is she incredibly professional, but she is super talented and worked directly with me (and my mom/MIL/bridesmaid) to make sure my hair and makeup were exactly what I wanted. Even when we had to cancel our wedding due to the pandemic, she was flexible in rescheduing and ended up doing my hair/makeup for our wedding photos instead. She made me feel so beautiful and comfortable, and her professionalism really helped ease any anxiety I had about the photos. I contacted Sarah just two short weeks before our elopement-style wedding to do my bridal makeup and she was very friendly, flexible, and accommodating. I didn't have the time to book a bridal preview with her and she did a wonderful job with my makeup and made sure I was comfortable and feeling good about my makeup every step of the way. We had a consultation call beforehand to make sure we were aligned on a look. I just wanted light and natural makeup for my wedding day and I also shared photos to give her a better idea of the look I was going for. Booking a makeup artist at the last minute, Sarah was thankfully able to squeeze me into her schedule at 8am. Our intimate wedding ceremony was not until 4pm so I was concerned about my makeup lasting all day and I tend to have oily skin. Sarah did a fantastic job with my makeup and set me up with setting powder and lipstick to touch up throughout the day. My makeup lasted perfectly and I love the natural, bridal look she was able to come up with. I was very happy with how my makeup turned out and I highly recommend Sarah to any brides looking for a talented artist to work with. -

I can't praise Sarah and her company enough! The amount of personal time, energy, and creativity that Sarah spent with me during my wedding prep was amazing. Sarah was so much fun to not only be around, she really made the day special. She listened to all my ideas, and was able to make me feel calm and beautiful. She even took time before hand to prep some of my extensions to make sure they were perfect on my wedding day. You can tell she has a lot of joy and dedication for her work and her company. Her inclusivity and work habits make the experience unlike any other. Sarah not only creates beautiful hair, and is a flawless makeup artist, but she has such a beautiful heart! I was so lucky to have her in my corner for my elopement, and again in 2021 for our bigger celebration! -

I absolutely loved working with Sarah for my wedding! From the beginning, she was professional and responsive. She was quick and easy to book. She came out to my apartment to do a preview of the hair and makeup for my big day which I especially loved since it gave me the opportunity to give feedback so we could tweak the look a little as needed prior to the big day. Once my big day came, she traveled out to the location where we were getting ready. She brought all her own equipment including a tall chair and lighting. She was fun to talk to during the process of getting ready and she finished my look right on time so that I still had time for getting dressed and photos. The finished look was incredible and I am still getting compliments on my hair and makeup! She even included a little touch-up kit for me with bobby pins, hairspray, lipstick, etc. that I could take to the wedding with me. She is so easy to work with and thoughtful down to the very last detail! I highly recommend Sarah for all of your hair and makeup needs. -

Sarah Khan did my hair for my wedding. It was put in an up-do that still looked flawless the next day after sleeping on it, with no pain or pulling. Although it's a bit pricey, I would definitely recommend doing the trial. Sarah was great at listening to what I wanted, but when the trial was done, I realized that the hair was not the exact look I'd been going for. Sarah and I chatted and exchanged a few more inspiration photos. She was very receptive to the modifications we discussed. I have straight, fine hair, that doesn't always want to stay where it should, and I appreciated her attention to detail the day of the wedding. Sarah was lovely to chat with, and she came before my friends or the photographer arrived. It was a relaxing moment of calm before a hectic, but amazing, day. -

I was so impressed by Sarah’s experience and reviews after another artist recommended I reach out to her. I was blown away by the entire experience with Sarah. She is very professional and responsive and an incredible artist. I had a flood of compliments about my wedding makeup and it stayed on the whole day and looked just like new at the end of the night. Sarah is so fun to work with and I hope to have my hair and makeup done by her again. I would recommend her to anyone!
