  Great experience!

  We met Sarah two years ago for a mini session, which turned out great! So when I got pregnant this year it wasn’t even a question who we would like to do our photos with. My maternity and newborn photos turned up so beautifully , Sarah is very talented and professional photographer, her studio has everything for a newborn photo shoot. We will definitely be back to her!

  When my daughter Rachael and I first met with Sarah, Rachael knew right away that this was the person she wanted to photograph her wedding. I will say Rachael made the right decision no doubt. The engagement pics and the wedding pics were absolutely wonderful. She was one of those photographers who connected with the people she was photographing. At the wedding she was so unintrusive that I actually forgot she was there!! She has taken pictures that I know Rachael and Devin will treasure forever. I cannot express how pleased and happy we were with Sarah Kane Photography!!

  My fiancé and I met Sarah a year ago for an engagement session. We had just relocated to the area and found her on Facebook. We were comfortable with her immediately! We loved our photos! Naturally, we wanted her to photograph our intimate barn wedding! It was such a cold day! When we got our photos back (quickly I might add!), we were speechless! But if I had to choose one word to describe them, Stunning. She captured the emotions, the laughs, and you'd never suspect we were freezing! It's not often both sides of our family are together as we all live in different states. Glad we have updated family photos from our big day! She even got great photos of our energetic toddler! Her photos are flawless. I cannot wait to display them throughout my home.

  Sarah was wonderful during our sessiok. She made registering for a session easy via her website, was quick to confirm, asked for personality details (grumpy husband, wild 3 yr. old). Pics were back quickly and she was quick to answer questions. AND, our pics were beautiful!

  At the very last minute, I contacted Sarah on a whim to see if she would be able to photograph my two boys while we were visiting my sister in Richmond. This was very last minute and spur of the moment.. so I was delighted when she happily said "yes" and had no problem working it out to fit us in to her hectic schedule. Sarah was absolutely phenomenal with my boys and they loved her. The whole shoot was a breeze, due to her laid back approach to photography and her "anything goes" type aurora about her her! She was just incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her!! Well worth the investment!! :) We can't wait to have Sarah take additional photos as our boys grow older, as we visit Richmond in the future!

  I cannot say enough about Sarah and her pictures! She has a true, genuine talent for capturing memories! Sarah recently shot our engagement pictures and everyone who saw them were blown away. I am not one to be shy around a camera lens, but my now (husband!) was not thrilled with the idea of having a pictures taken of him. With Sarah it was not an issue! Sarah makes you feel so comfortable and at ease during her sessions, and she is able to capture REAL moments with REAL emotions. She is artistic, sweet, funny and down to earth. If you are ever thinking about having your portraits done she is your girl! Not to mention that she gives you plenty of options to choose from because she claims, "she can't help herself" and takes a lot of pictures. For our wedding she even surprised us by setting up a slide show of pictures she had taken that day. How awesome is that?! To summarize - Sarah Kane Photography rocks.

  She really listens to us in regards to what we were trying to accomplish with our photographs. We wanted to city feel and she made sure that that happened for us. She works great with children. We intend to use their for annual photography needs for as long as she will have us!

  I have never been more pleased with photos of my family!! I cannot wait to use her again! She was able to get several excellent pictures of all three of my children (together) which is a miracle in my book!

  Sarah was wonderful to work with! We loved that she took the time to meet with us before we began the photo shoot. It helped us become more comfortable the day of the shoot. She is very open minded to ideas and also gives great input. My fiancé and I wanted an outdoor photo shoot for our engagement pictures. Unfortunately it was raining the day of our pictures. We still wanted to get them done, and Sarah agreed the lighting would be beautiful. She was up for the challenge to do our photos in the rain. And they came out amazingly gorgeous!! She was very responsive to us as well. She reminded us we could take breaks if we felt too cold or wet due to the rain. We can't wait to have her photograph our wedding!!

  I can't say enough about how amazing Sarah was! She was such a calming presence on the wedding day. The pictures are amazing, and she genuinely cares about her clients. She really does make you feel special. From the moment we first met, she took the time to get to know us as a couple and it was reflected in the photos. My husband and I can't imagine a better choice of photographer!

  Sarah squeezed me into her schedule in order to take pictures of my 2 year old. Sarah took pictures of my daughter at 7 weeks and again at 1 year. She does such a great job that I also booked her for a family picture shoot too! Whether wrangling babies, toddlers, or brothers-in-law who don't want their picture taken, Sarah is the ultimate professional keeping everyone happy and smiling. The pictures are excellent and I will continue to have Sarah take my daughter's pictures every year.

  The photography portion of my wedding was the most stress free part thanks to Sarah. I've heard some horror stories of others photographers being late, bossy or not capturing the day. But this was quite the opposite with Sarah. She kept on top of me with all the details and I had so many pictures that I just loved. I don't think I enough frames for them all! Highly recommended!

A friend of mine recommended Sarah and I'm so very grateful she did. Sarah gave us better than perfect - she captured the sweetest, most precious pictures of our little boy that we will treasure for a lifetime! Not only was she professional, it is clear she loves photography & had the natural talent to come up w/ ideas to create wonderful moments that she then captured on film. I truly will never forget that day / memory. I don't believe I had one single friend or family member that didn't compliment those beautiful pictures.
