Katie is the simply the best. She did an amazing job taking photos of our engagement, our wedding, and my bridal photos. I can’t thank Katie enough not only for capturing the best moments from our wedding but being there for us every step of the way. Being a bride is stressful but being a bride during COVID-19 was on a whole other level. BUT Katie was so accommodating with all the venue changes, timeline changes, etc. She was just so helpful, supportive, and understanding through the entire process. She goes above and beyond for all of her clients. I am SO happy we had SKP capture our big day and she did NOT disappoint! -

The Best Wedding Photographer
If you are considering hiring SKP for your wedding, DO IT. Katie is an incredible photographer and an even better person. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID but decided to go ahead and get married on our original date at our home. Katie was so helpful and understanding throughout the entire process. Our pictures from both events are better than I could have ever imagined. The pictures will help us remember our special days forever, and that is priceless. -

The best photographer in Eastern NC!!
Katie is THE BEST. She goes above and beyond to make her clients happy. As a bride that had to change wedding plans due to the COVID-19, Katie has helped me more than I could ever imagine during this time. At the end of the day, your pictures are what you are going to have for forever. If you want an experienced photographer that truly cares for her couples (and also LOVES dogs, especially golden retrievers, but I’m biased) Katie is your girl! So glad she was a part of our wedding day and reception day 6 months later! -

Katie was a DREAM to work with! She was quick to reply to any messages or questions I sent her, she gave great advice about what would result in the best pictures for our wedding day, but was also super flexible with what we wanted. She was an absolute CHAMP on our wedding day even though it was raining, and even got out with an umbrella to make sure we had beautiful pictures. Our photos were absolutely GORGEOUS—better than I could have ever hoped for. She was professional, but also so fun and personable. She was the best! -

Katie is a sweetheart! very professional! Great advice when it comes to planning! she seriously needs to be a wedding planner/photographer! She cares for clients. Treats them like family! Reasonably priced and offers great packages. Her pictures are beautiful! I couldn't be happier with my experience and will use Katie for future photography needs! Highly recommend her! You won't regret it! -

Amazing photographer
Katie is always amazing to work with! She has taken photos for me and my family since I was a senior in high school so it there was no question who I was going to ask when it was time for my wedding day. Looking at photos from my wedding takes me back; you can feel the love felt that day just by looking at the picture. Timeless photos! I would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a wedding photographer; she will be our photographer for life. I look forward to her getting to capture all of the big moments of our lives! -

Best photographer in Eastern NC! She rode with me & my MOH to Cape Lookout Lighthouse on a windy day to do my bridals, by boat might I add!! They came out perfect 😍. She captures moments in a light we don’t normally see & it’s captivating! She had fun with us all while remaining professional. We plan on keeping her as our family photographer just like so many other ENC families have!! -

Katie (Sarah K. Photography) far exceeded our expectations when she recently photographed our wedding. We have known Katie for a long time and she has photographed many special moments in our life. She has taken the time to really get to know us, our family, and the style of photos that we prefer. On our wedding day, she made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. She listened to us, laughed with us and most importantly made sure to capture all of the special moments that we will want to remember forever. All around wonderful!
My husband and I loved having Sarah K. Photography capture our reception! We didn’t have a traditional wedding, as far as the timeline goes- we got married at a small ceremony in October and had a big reception in November, which is what we had Katie (with Sarah K. Photography) capture. Leading up to it, she was very quick with her responseiveness and set up a phone call to discuss all the details, which was helpful.
Just a couple weeks after our event, she sent us a cute Christmas ornament with one of the pictures on it (as well as some delicious Christmas cookies), and the full photo gallery was sent to us shortly after that. It was almost exactly one month after our reception when we received the full gallery, which we were very pleased with. We also loved the quality and variety of photos she captured, from candid shots to family photos.
We would recommend Sarah K. Photography to anyone needing a photographer for wedding events! -

Katie did everything she could to make our day a dream come true. From the beginning by doing engagements, bridals at my location which required going on a boat to Cape Lookout. To our wedding day post Hurricane Florence, which ruined our venue. She never stopped encouraging me every step of the way and made our day absolutely perfect. The memories we have because of Katie, are priceless. -

Elizabeth Sent on 10/03/2018When we chose Katie as our wedding photographer we immediately fell in love with her even before seeing her work her magic! After our first session, we loved her even more and knew we chose the right lady to capture our day. She was so easy to work with, was extremely helpful (even with the 700 questions I asked) and she was quick to respond and the time it took for her to send a teaser photo to us was incredible! By the next day we would have a handful of pictures...which were perfect every time.
The biggest thing about Katie was not her skill, her response time or her quality of service (although they are all 5 stars) it was her heart, which shows through her work. She took time to get to know us, our story, and what we wanted our dream day to look like. What I was most thankful for was her thoughtfulness. A few months after our wedding, a very dear friend to both my husband and I passed away from her fight with cancer. She played the piano at our wedding because my husband and her first connected through music & she was extremely talented! As we got the news that she was in the hospital, I immediately went back looking through wedding pictures to find one of Mel but I could not find one. A few days went by and a message from Katie popped up on my phone with a picture of Mel playing the piano at our wedding. My eyes immediately began to fill with tears. I knew how precious this picture would be to my husband. Katie said she had been looking for days through hundreds of pictures for just one of Mel. Not because she had to. Not because we asked her to. Not because we paid extra money but because that's just the kind of person she is. She pays attention to the details and she doesn't just show up, snap a few pictures and call it day. She invest in her clients and that is why she is the very best & the photographer you want to capture your wedding day, engagement, or family. I promise you won't go wrong with Sarah K! -

We could not have chosen anyone more worthy of that trust than Katie with Sarah K Photography! From the very beginning, she was so responsive and helpful with any and all questions. Throughout the process, she was able to get to know us and our style and let that show through in the details of our photos. On the wedding day she was always right there when you needed her without becoming intrusive during our more intimate moments. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and adore our engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding day photos! We can’t wait to work with Katie again for future life events!

She shot our engagement, bridal, rehearsal party, and all day of our wedding and reception. So many beautiful details were captured, in addition to the beautiful smiles she caught. Katie was attentive, always on time and easy to work with. She truly cares and takes photos that you’ll love and treasure forever.

Katie is very involved throughout, though also allows my input 100%. All of the packages are extremely well priced and includes a lot of options for the money. Katie somehow made me feel very comfortable when taking pictures for each shoot, and that is very hard to do! Overall, if you are looking for an amazing wedding photographer at a very reasonable price, Sarah K. Photography is your answer! I will for sure be recommending her to others.

Amanda Sent on 10/26/2017Katie and Jordan captured my wedding day in ways I never could have imagined. I feel that they caught every aspect of the wedding from the big parts of the event to the small details I never saw until I looked at the pictures. They captured beautiful intimate moments, such as my husband wiping away a tear as he said his vows or my son and I dancing. They caught so many wonderful pictures, I am still trying to narrow down my favorites. The one piece of advice I would give to future brides is go ahead and book her for a minimum of 8 hours (trust me you are going to anyway). She is seriously the best decision you'll make for your wedding!!! -
