Wedding Glam

Sarah was such a joy to work with and I’m so glad she was part of my wedding day! She made the whole experience so much fun, and she absolutely nailed both my trial and the day-of look. I shared my inspo with her and she brought my vision to life even better than I imagined.

My makeup lasted flawlessly all day and night, and my bridal party looked stunning thanks to her amazing work. She’s talented, professional, and such a great energy to have around on such an important day. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Sarah & her team are the best of the best! Not only did they run ahead of schedule but they made myself, 12 bridesmaids and my mom/MIL feel so comfortable!! They were beyond accommodating listening to everyone’s vision and making changes or touch ups if needed. As the bride it was important for me to look like myself on my wedding day. Sarah delivered just that! A natural look that lasted all night long! You’re in the best hands with Sarah!

Professional & loving on a stressful day

Exceptional service

Sarah was an exceptional makeup artist for my wedding day. She was on time and listen to what me and my bridesmaids were looking for and when above and beyond our expectations. She even covered up a little tan line the was bothering me. Her team is awesome! I felt so incredibly beautiful that day. Highly recommend 😊

Amazing!!!

I worked with Sarah first as a bridesmaids at my sister’s wedding and loved my makeup. She did my makeup again for my wedding July 2021. Sarah was super helpful and understanding when the pandemic hit and we needed to reschedule the wedding. She was so helpful leading up to the wedding creating a schedule for the morning and my makeup was beautiful. I had so much fun working with Sarah and her team!!

Fantastic Make Up Artist!

Sarah was great to work with for make up for both my July 4th, 2020 wedding and my May 28th, 2021 reception. Sarah listened to my vision of how I wanted my make up to look. She made my eyes pop and skin look flawless. All night long, the makeup continued to look fantastic and I received so many compliments! I would highly recommend Sarah for all your make up needs. Best hair and makeup team ever!

Sarah and her team were amazing to work with. Sarah was incredibly flexible throughout the entire process of postponing my wedding due to COVID and make the process so easy. She and her team arrived right on time and were very efficient throughout the morning of my wedding. Everyone loved their hair and makeup and it lasted a full 17 hours until the end of the wedding! They made the morning a lot of fun and stress-free. I highly recommend Sarah (and Nicole for hair!) Sarah even gave me extra lip gloss to reapply throughout the day :)

Make Up Artist

Sarah was amazing to work with! She really cared about the envision I had in mind when putting together my bridal make up. She went above and beyond to make sure myself and bridal party all felt beautiful. She even agreed to do some of my aunts make up last minute who wanted their make up done after seeing how lovely my mother looked. Everyone felt great about their look. She knew what to say to calm my nerves while getting ready. I would recommend her to any bride who wants to feel amazing on their wedding day!!! Book her fast!!

I found Sarah through Wedding Wire and I'm so glad I did! She is very knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced and just super fun to work with. I had never put on lashes before my make-up trial with her and she let me know what to expect, walked me through each step so that I felt very comfortable. And this was my general experience with her during the trial and my wedding- she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout. Furthermore, my bridal party had different complexions and Sarah is certainly experienced in working with this as everyone looked gorgeous! Overall raving reviews! I would highly recommend Sarah for your make-up needs!

Amazing makeup artist you definitely want!

Working with Sarah was absolutely amazing. She knew exactly what I was hoping for and she took the time to understand what areas of makeup my worries were. This was for a branding photo shoot for my business and a milestone for my pursuit of personal growth and fulfilment. The best experience I've ever had!

HIGHLY recommend Sarah and her amazing team. As a wedding planner I've had the pleasure of working with a few different teams, but after meeting Sarah she is the ONLY one I'd ever recommend to any of my brides moving forward. Her work is TRULY remarkable and you just feel like family when you're in her care. OF COURSE I had to hire her for my big day and once again was over the moon. Her professionalism, talent, and honestly, her personality put her a cut above the rest. You will absolutely love working with her and her team. Working with Sarah was wonderful! She is incredibly professional and has great attention to detail. Her work is beautiful and she really listened & understood what I wanted. She even came to the rescue at the last minute when my hair stylist was unable to get to me! Sarah thought on her toes and immediately contacted one of her stylists to come and save the day!

The best team!

Sarah, Nicole, and their team were my favorite to work with! The team did makeup for a wedding I was in over the summer, and I asked for their information that same day for my own wedding. (That bride chose them after working with them at another wedding, too! Anyone who works with them can immediately see that they are amazing at what they do!)
Sarah and Nicole are so easy to talk to and work with. I was very nervous for my hair and makeup trials since I rarely wear makeup or style my hair, but they made the experience fun and made sure to check in with me about how I felt about different looks.
They were similarly fun and easy-going on my wedding day, and my bridesmaids absolutely raved about how phenomenal their work was. Every makeup look was so different but so individually perfect.
I was so worried about my hair because it doesn't hold a curl at all, but Sarah assured me they would make it work. Nicole worked magic and it stayed all night for the first time ever! I honestly can't say enough good things about this team. I am so thankful for the work they did and so so glad I hired them!

Amazing Bridal Makeup + Hair!

I am so happy I found Sarah, Nicole and their team for my wedding day! Everything came out so perfect, my makeup looked so amazing and stay for hours (and hours)--Natural but glam, it was everything I wanted! My hair was also perfect, I was hesitant to try an updo but Nicole did such an amazing job, I loved it so much! Amazing! You will be THRILLED! 💕

Sarah and Nicole do amazing work! I had never before had my makeup done professionally, nor had I had my hair “done up”. I wanted to be camera-ready and still feel like myself for our son’s wedding.

We did a dry-run 2 weeks before the wedding, and Sarah and Nicole listened carefully to what I was trying to achieve .. and like true, amazing professionals, they captured my vision PERFECTLY. Nicole does amazing hair work, and Sarah is a spectacular makeup artist!

The day of the wedding they came to my home to get my hair and makeup done. Their work is STUNNING. The wedding was on 9/21/19, a nearly 90-degree gorgeous day. My hair and makeup was literally picture-perfect for a 12+ hour day.

Incredible artists!!

My experience with Sarah and her team was absolutely spectacular. I can wholeheartedly say that I've never felt more beautiful in my life than I did on my wedding day thanks to Sarah and Nicole. They took the time to get to know me (and all of my girls) and their work reflected EXACTLY what I was looking for on my big day. Even when one of my bridesmaids wasn't 100% happy, Sarah listened to her and made sure she felt completely happy before she was finished. On the big day, they were prepared with a schedule and absolutely professional. It helped keep us calm and organized. I truly can't recommend them enough.

Incredible hair and makeup personalized for each of us

Sarah and Nicole did an amazing job with the hair and makeup for my three bridesmaids, my mother and MIL, and me. I liked how my hair and makeup looked at the trial but wasn't 100% in love, but was super happy with how they turned out on the actual wedding day. They were very collaborative throughout the entire process and took into consideration our individual styles, our faces, and even the colors of the dresses and flowers and helped accentuate all of our best features. Everyone was really happy with their looks, and none of it looked generic; all of us had different hair and makeup styles that suited each of us individually. Our hair and makeup also lasted all night, which was no easy feat, since my hair has a super difficult time holding curls. Nicole even managed to fake an updo on my mother, who wanted an updo even though she has a short bob, and it looked amazing. They were also super sweet and their demeanor definitely helped me relax and get rid of some pre-wedding jitters.

Sarah Jeanne Makeup Artistry exceeded all of my expectations! I got married in June of 2018 and had the pleasure of having Sarah and Nina do our make up. I booked Sarah after loving the look she created during our trial! She really listened to what I wanted and was able to make me look exactly how I pictured myself on my wedding day! Sarah did my entire bridal party and my mother’s make up as well. She did a phenomenal job on everyone’s make up, they all looked great! She is very easy to work with, a true professional! After being a bridesmaid several times over the past few years, I've worked with quite a few makeup artists-- when I got engaged last year, I contacted Sarah almost immediately because she stuck out as the best one by far! Sarah was extremely patient with me throughout the planning process (I was not always the most organized bride.) Sarah and her assistant Nicole did a FANTASTIC job doing my, my mom's, and my bridesmaids' makeup for my wedding. Not only did they finish a little ahead of schedule, everyone looked absolutely STUNNING. Both Nicole and Sarah did a great job making us all feel comfortable and making sure that we looked absolutely PERFECT. I would highly recommend Sarah Jeanne Makeup Artistry!!

I booked Sarah on a friend's recommendation and was SO happy to have found her! She did the makeup for me, my mother, my MIL, and my five bridesmaids. Everyone came out looking flawless, and the makeup still looked perfect after a long night of eating, drinking, crying, and dancing (not in that order). Sarah was the make-up artist that my sister in law used for her wedding back in May and I loved how our make up was done so much that I hired her for my own wedding this November! Sarah and her team are super talented, fun, easy, and are able to accommodate whatever "look" you're going for. Me for example she gave me a ceremony lip and a reception lip. Referrals really are the best and I will certainly be referring her to my other friends that will be getting married in the coming years.

I cannot express my gratitude for Sarah. She is such a pleasure and does phenomenal work. She really knows how to make a bride happy and worked so well with myself, my mother and bridesmaids. Her personality is amazing and she's so funny. She was so fun to have in my bridal suite. My makeup was absolutely flawless and didn't need touched up. It stayed perfect until 3am!! Even after sweating from dancing it stayed and I didn't look tired. I personally feel she is the best makeup artist in NJ and stays up on the latest trends! Her contouring and my eye makeup was gorgeous and she mimic any photo you show her. Truly an artist and such a wonderful person to have around on your wedding day. She went above and beyond. Sarah was a perfect fit for me as a make-up artist on my wedding day! I had a trial with her a couple of months before and she was very knowledgeable and listened to everything that I wanted and liked and envisioned for myself, while also giving her professional advice to collaborate the perfect wedding day make-up. Through the whole process she was super responsive and always willing to answer all of my questions and make any changes that I needed to make- (I added more people who wanted their make-up done, added a assistant with not much time to spare, and changed the getting ready location!) and through it all Sarah was always on board and very flexible. She did an amazing job on my make-up and her and her assistant both did a wonderful job with all of my bridesmaids/mothers. Everyone was very happy with their make-up! I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a great make-up artist and the most stress-free "vendor" that you will have through your whole wedding planning process!

I had four trials and I was starting to lose hope that I wouldn't find someone to make me look how I wanted for my wedding day. One day I came across a random post on Facebook recommending Sarah Jeanne Makeup Artistry and decided to reach out to her. MY BEST DECISION! After our original date for my trial fell through, Sarah came all the way out to my house in Somerset on a Saturday morning for a trial. Sarah completely came to my rescue. My original makeup artist bailed 2 weeks before my wedding and I frantically went searching for a new one. I found Sarah online and reached out to her and she responded right away. She came to my apartment for a trial a day later and as soon as she started I knew she was going to be better than my flaky lady before. I used Sarah for my wedding on 11/13/16. She did makeup for me, my bridesmaids and my mother and sister in law. Sarah is very professional and really listens to what the client wants. I had an idea of what I wanted for myself and my girls after my trial but Sarah did suggest another look to me and I went with it. I ended up liking what she did for mine and my girls makeup even better than what I originally picked. The makeup lasted through tears, dancing, sweating, laughing--all the above. At the end of the night my makeup and lashes were still in tact! She did just enough makeup to make me feel flawless on my big day. My friends and family know that I am not an everyday makeup person, so choosing a makeup artist that I love and trust for my wedding day was really stressful for me. That was until a friend introduced me to Sarah and Nina of Sarah Jeanne Makeup Artistry. From the start, Sarah was so transparent and accommodating. Working with her on the contract and day-of communications were seamless, which is really important for a bride-to-be.

Nina was my makeup artist for the day, and I was so impressed with her from the get go. She was kind, caring and professional. She made my face look so natural, which is exactly what I wanted. More importantly, I felt so confident and beautiful, and that’s 100% thanks to Nina’s amazing work!! I first met Sarah for a make-up trial six months before my wedding. I had a very simple look in mind, but Sarah jazzed it up and I was so happy by the results. I'm so glad she amped it up as my pictures look ahh-mazing! I can't rave enough about Sarah's make-up skills. Professional, prompt and super-funny, she put me at ease on my wedding day. I first met with Sarah for a makeup trial and couldn't wait! She requested sample pictures of makeup which were photos from HER FB page so that was a great start! On the day of the trial, she walked me through everything and explained each step which was nice of her and made me feel very comfortable. Throughout the trial she was hilarious and very open which my Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed. Needless to say, the makeup was exactly what I had pictured. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant showed up on time and ready to go which is a serious stress reliever on the big day! They did makeup for a total of seven girl bridesmaids, two Moms and me all without a single ounce of stress or concern which was so appreciated! After they were done, they cleaned the entire area where they worked, provided a touch up gloss for me to have throughout the day, and even went with us to another part of the hotel where I was getting dressed just to see everything together to make sure I was ready to go! Talk about going above and beyond! I can't wait to find an excuse to use her services again . . . which is saying something because I live in MA!

If you are looking for a real professional and she is still available on your event date, book Sarah Jeanne! She's extremely skilled at both the artistic and technical sides of makeup, and her professionalism was such a relief to me in the midst of all my wedding stress. After my first makeup artist didn't work out, I was scrambling to find a new one a month before my wedding and I luckily came across Sarah. She took my wedding as seriously as I did, even finding time to do a trial that same week. During the trial, she explained every step of what she was doing and helped me see different looks by slowly building the makeup to add more and more drama. She even had fun little tips for the wedding day, like how to cry without ruining your makeup. I absolutely loved my trial makeup, and my fiance commented at a restaurant that evening that it seemed to look better and better as the night went on. From that day all the way up to the wedding, Sarah was always in touch with prompt responses to my emails and texts, and on the big day she showed up to my bridal suite exactly when she said she'd be there. She even checked in the night before via text. Those little details are important when you're an anxious bride juggling a thousand things at once. Thank you, Sarah!

Sarah did an outstanding job with my bridal and bridal party makeup!! Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring at each of my friends and family in amazement.

From the moment we got there she made everyone feel comfortable. Asking them questions about how they would like their makeup to look that day. Making sure she was delivering the best look possible. I was particularly worried about looking like I had too much makeup on as I don't usually where a lot. But it didn't feel or look heavy and I couldn't believe how stunningly natural it all came out!

We had 7 ladies to get through before our first look photos. And there was never a doubt that the timeline would be an issue. She was at the wedding suite and ready to start before we even arrived that morning. She had all the makeup complete, everything cleaned and packed up ahead of schedule. I've had nightmare experiences of being late for other weddings and that was not the case here!

The makeup photographed beautifully for all the bridesmaids, mothers, and myself. I enjoyed the evening so much more since I wasn't worried about touching up makeup. Everything stayed in place and looked flawless threw pictures, teary ceremony, and the dance floor. And believe me I took advantage of the dance floor!

Professional and fun you know she loves her job and loves to deliver. I highly recommend Sarah Jeanne Makeup Artistry for all your special occasions.

I have used Sarah Jeanne for my makeup needs for years. After what feels like years of trials for the BIG day, the day was finally here and it was time to create the look of all looks, my bridal look. I gave Sarah a challenge with thick mink lashes, and a hooded smokey eye but it came out exactly as I envisioned. The look was perfect for my New Year’s Eve wedding. Sarah Munoz of Sarah Jeanne Makeup Artistry was my makeup artist for my wedding last month an she was fantastic!! In six hours Sarah did makeup for 8 people. She did a beautiful job! We got ready at my parents house and Sarah had no problem going there for my trial or for the wedding day. She arrived early to set up and in all the hours she was there I'm not sure I saw her sit down once.

Sarah is extremely professional. During my trial we talked about what I what and she talked me through everything she was doing. She is a friendly and delightful person. At the trial while she was serious about her work, but she took time to get to know me and joke around a little. On my wedding day, again extremely friendly, but very serious about her business. She had a deadline and met it without breaking a sweat.
Many people complimented the bridal party's makeup throughout the day and even at night when it was all over someone made a comment to me that my makeup still looked great after so many hours. I would highly recommend Sarah for any occasion.

I just got married at the end of September and I had the pleasure of having Sarah Jean as my makeup artist. I chose her based on the reviews about her work and some pictures I saw online. I'm glad I did. Not only did she do a great job on everyones' makeup on the day of the wedding, she was so helpful throughout the entire wedding process. She provided some valuable wedding advice and really listened to what I wanted with my makeup that day. Sarah and her team were great to work with! They were very punctual and we got started right when we needed to. All of the make-up was finished with time to spare. Sarah made the whole process of hiring a makeup artist so easy. I had a trial with her first and I booked her right away – her work is gorgeous. Sarah is very professional and does such a great job! I was the first bridesmaid to have my makeup done around 7am and it lasted all night!! She talks to you as she is performingher magic and let's you know what she is doing. I remember one girl wanted fake eyelashes but Sarah had asked her to wait until she was done applying the girls mascara because she probably wouldn't need them and she was right no false eyelashes needed! She gives me exactly the drama I am looking for in my smokey eye, my eyelashes always look voluminous, so much so that I don't even need to use falsies, and she makes my skin look perfectly sun-kissed. She also does all this while teaching me tips I can take home to use in my everyday and special night out routines.

She also has done my mother's makeup for a wedding before, and my mother was more than happy with the look that was achieved. Her makeup complimented her, and highlighted her best features.

Sarah is very accommodating, and will make you feel comfortable and relaxed on your big day. I would recommend, and have recommended, her to many friends and family members for their weddings, and special events.

I loved my make up. Sarah did my makeup on 3 different occasions. Every time she did something new and it looked great. I like to look natural and Sarah did that. She listened to what I wanted and then gave me some advice. She made me look like a million bucks. I also had a blast with her while she did all of our work, which is also very important

Sarah did an amazing job with my make up for my cousin's wedding, as well as my Sweet 16. Her eye for creativity showed when she gave me a natural look that I asked for both occasions. She knows exactly how to color coordinate to your preference for your event. The quality of her make up is excellent- it lasted throughout the entire days while being outside in the blazing hot weather! When I would walk inside and outside of the wedding reception, I never had to reapply it. Sarah was an absolute pleasure to work with. I prefer a natural look and she gave me exactly what I was looking for, but with a little touch of glam for my special day. I was so thrilled with my makeup on my wedding day. Sarah did an amazing job on not only me, but my four bridesmaids as well. She listened to everything I said I wanted and gave me her input as well.
