Feel your best with Sarah
It sounds cliche, but if you want to feel and look your absolute BEST, just have Sarah do your makeup. She is a magician!! I have never looked more “myself”, but glam. I *wish* I could do what she does to myself. Sarah also has a unique ability to make you feel totally comfortable, while also hilarious, so hanging out is a treat. If I was getting married tomorrow there is nobody else I would rather have to make me look beautiful! -

Sarah is an absolutely exceptional makeup artist. Her knowledge of skincare and products is unmatched. She completely transformed my skin by putting me on a personalized routine that truly resolved all of my skin concerns. Highly Recommend Sarah!
I have had the pleasure of working with Sarah for a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. I can confidently say she is a true artist no matter the scope of the event. She has done my hair and makeup for magazine photo shoots, family photos, my Palm Royale themed birthday party, and Celebrity events. She also reached out to me during a difficult time when our baby daughter had passed away and did my hair and makeup when I was not able to do much of anything for myself. From the moment I am with her, I felt welcomed and leave feeling beautiful. Sarah always takes the time to understand my vision and tailors her approach to fit my style perfectly. Her skills are unmatched; she effortlessly works her magic and uses techniques that make me look and feel fabulous.
The quality of the products she uses is evident, as my makeup and hair lasts all day without any touch-ups. Amazing experience!
We had the absolute best experience with Sarah for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah! She did makeup for me, my daughter, my mom, and my mother-in-law — and every single one of us had the overall finished look we were starving for: natural but elevated.
I have very tricky skin, and she knew exactly how to work with it, using the perfect combination of products and techniques to create a smooth, natural, and flawless finish. We all wanted soft, natural looks that photographed beautifully, and she completely nailed it.
Everyone kept asking who did our makeup! Beyond her incredible skill, she was also warm, professional, and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. I can’t recommend her highly enough — she’s truly exceptional at what she does. -

Best makeup experience I’ve ever had - and I’ve had many!!
My entire experience with Sarah felt easy and thoughtful from start to finish. I was SO happy with my makeup — I’ve honestly never felt more gorgeous and totally like myself at the same time. Her background and expertise really show, and I would work with her again in a heartbeat. -

No trial, no problem!!!
Amazing! I live out of state and wasn’t able to do a trial, but based on all the positive reviews and photos I trusted her immediately. And all the reviews were spot on! She made me, my bridesmaids and my mother look and feel so gorgeous, and so cared for. I simply cannot recommend Sarah highly enough!!! -

Sarah did an amazing job with the makeup for my wedding! She went above and beyond and is so professional to work with. She kept everyone organized and on time. Her skills with make up are the best I've ever seen (and I have my makeup done professionally over 30 times) and her results are beyond words! She makes everyone look beautiful without being overdone. Her makeup style is classy, beautiful, soft and meticulous. Plus, Sarah herself is wonderful. It was like having my best friend present while getting ready on my Wedding day. She put me and everyone else at ease and was so supportive throughout the entire process. She is the only person I would trust to do my makeup for an event in the future. -

A picture- perfect day
I can’t express enough how thrilled I am with the incredible work Sarah and her team did for my wedding day. From the moment we started, it was clear that Sarah was the best person for the job. She and her team handled 13 makeup applications and 9 hairstyling with absolute precision and care.
My hair and makeup turned out better than I could’ve ever imagined. Sarah and her team were not only highly skilled, but also incredibly kind and attentive to every detail. They made sure that every aspect down to each eyelash strand was perfect.
The professionalism and dedication truly shined through making my special day even more memorable. I highly recommend Sarah’s team to anyone looking for top-notch makeup and hair services. Thank you Sarah for making me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day.-

Excellent makeup artist for the whole wedding party
Sarah was one of my favorite decisions I made for the big day. At our first meeting she taught me so much about skincare and makeup application. I was so happy with my look at the trial that it allowed me to relax on the day because I knew we were all going to look like better versions of ourselves. My wedding party and I still talk about how talented Sarah is. My makeup was applied in the afternoon and even after dancing and photos on a windy beach, hours later, my makeup hadn’t changed that much. My eye makeup in particular was still gorgeous. And overall it was a very natural look. All I needed to do the whole day was reapply lipstick from time to time. I still wear my wedding lipstick when I want to be reminded of the special day.-

Wedding MUA
Sarah is a class act! After seeing how excellent she was for my sister-in-laws wedding, I knew I wanted her to glam me on my big day. Aside from her abundance of expertise, she ensures the environment on your wedding morning feels fun and calm at the same time. This allowed me to feel completely comfortable and at ease and truly soak up all the wedding day bliss! With so many years in the business, she has seen everything. When I woke up on my wedding day to a pimple on my chin, Sarah went right to work and ensured no one (not even the professional lens of a camera) would be able to see it.. she worked her magic and left me a sample container of makeup for touch ups if needed (which never was). I cannot rave enough about her and her team! The pictures speak for themselves!!! I am forever a client of Sarah and will continue to recommend her to our family and friends. -

Sarah was an absolute pleasure to work with and we couldn’t have been happier with her service. As someone who does not wear a lot of makeup due to allergies, I was hesitant to get mine done for my wedding. Sarah put me as ease with her knowledge of the products and made me feel very comfortable throughout the trial and on my wedding day. She provided the makeup for 5 bridesmaids and myself and I had never felt prettier. The makeup was natural and lasted all day and night without any issues. This is the second time that we worked with Sarah for a wedding and she did an amazing job both times on everybody's makeup! She was easy to work with and has a great eye for knowing what look is best for each client. She worked very efficiently the morning of the wedding and had everyone done with plenty of time for pictures! She made the morning fun and relaxing for everyone. Magical transformation by Sarah!!
Sarah Giggar made a magical transformation with her hair styling and make up for me on my wedding day. Perfect amount of makeup to enhance my looks without being too much - very natural look. And what she did with my hair was amazing. I have never had a 'do' that actually stayed in place, yet she managed to give me a stunning relaxed updo that looked natural but never came apart until I was ready to take it apart. Sarah is a delight. Fun, listens closely to what we wanted, offered options and then did her magic for me - the bride, and 3 others in my bridal party --- all on location at my venue. Worth every moment of her time!! The best!!!!! -

Sarah is truly a unicorn of a makeup artist. She is extremely talented, calm and so easy to work with. Most importantly - she applies makeup in a way that makes you look like yourself while enhancing your best features. I used Sarah for my wedding day, as a bridesmaid and as a guest and she finds ways to fit the makeup for the occasion while still making you feel like you. We used Sarah for my sons wedding. Sarah was wonderful, flexible, and had great ideas! She was able to manage all 4 of us and get us out on time with no stress. We had Sarah 2 days, for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Our hair and makeup were perfect! -

Exceptional Experience
Upon the recommendation of a friend who works with Sarah for special events, I reached out to Sarah for my wedding last January. I wear makeup daily and tend to stick to looks and brands that I am comfortable with and suit my fair complexion. I explained this to Sarah, who assured me that I would still look like myself on my wedding day. While I did send her pictures of my 'inspiration' looks, Sarah was super patient and kind during my trial run and helped expand my vision all the while keeping me feeling comfortable in my own skin. She took into consideration my complexion, hair, dress, overall wedding vibe and the final look made me feel beautiful and special without feeling overdone or 'cartoonish.' Sarah was gracious with friends and family and made my experience feel intimate and fun at the same time. Sarah does a lot of editorial work, so I felt lucky to book her! Amazing Experience!
I first found Sarah when I needed somebody in Westport, CT to do my makeup for some last minute engagement photos. She was so professional and nice and I loved how my makeup looked. I re-booked Sarah for my wedding and she delivered again. I've also started to see her for eyebrow tweezing, which she is also amazing at (and I am very picky). She uses health safety precautions so I have always felt very comfortable and safe. -

Amazing Bridal Makeup!
Myself, my mother, sister, and friend all got our makeup done by Sarah before my wedding on 4/6/2019. None of us are very confident makeup wearers but Sarah made everyone feel amazing and beautiful- working within our comfort zones and personal requests. She also managed to fix a few eyebrow situations we brought with us. Sarah accommodated multiple trials, traveling to our “getting ready” location, was prompt, executed the final look within our timeframe, and was very communicative throughout the process. The makeup lasted throughout the long day of dancing, eating, etc. We would all hire Sarah again! -

Natural Glam Wedding Makeup
After my original makeup artist went in labor early, I found Sarah on short notice to do my makeup for my engagement shoot. Sarah did such an amazing job for my engagement shoot that I booked Sarah for my wedding. We had an early start for hair and makeup on my wedding day and Sarah arrived early, got set up quickly and completed the entire bridal party's makeup quickly and beautifully. All my bridesmaids and my mother were so happy with their makeup (and of course me too!) . I'm so happy I found Sarah and will definitely use her for other events in the future. -

Sarah is a true artist and an absolute dream to work with! I suffered a pretty nasty pre-wedding breakout and was so nervous I wouldn't feel pretty. Sarah not only made me feel comfortable during the entire makeup process, but was able to achieve a very natural look while concealing all imperfections. I knew from my makeup trial that Sarah was the perfect artist to work with - she knew exactly which areas to 'play up' and I didn't have to give her too much direction, which is perfect because I am a makeup novice. My wedding makeup looked so beautiful and also held up through an evening of dancing. I honestly do not think I could thank Sarah enough for the amazing job she did. I felt absolutely gorgeous, and received numerous compliments all night about how natural my makeup looked while still having a little glam. (and it lasted through all of the dancing, and still looked great in pics) She really listened to my requests to have a natural look, and really made sure I was 100% satisfied before she finished. She started out with the most natural look for the cameras, knowing that if I wanted a little more she could always add on. She made every single person she performed makeup application on, look and feel amazing. I think everyone I know has used Sarah for their wedding. She is professional, responsive via email, and goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. On my wedding day I had a few issues, all of which she came to the rescue - a true miracle worker! Issue #1: My finance managed to over trim one side of his beard...of course the night before the wedding. I emailed Sarah, knowing the miracle worker she is, if she could fake part of the beard with make-up. She responded (with a laugh) that she could certainly help. No one noticed that he had on a tiny bit of makeup and neither did I. Issue #2: My bridesman woke up with some pretty big circles under his eyes - not cute. He asked Sarah if she just apply a little concealer underneath and she of course said yes without hesitation. Again, saving the day (and the bride!). Issue #3: One of the fake eyelashes she put on me, for some reason, did not sit properly on my eyelid. Not her fault at all, but she stayed longer to fix it and to make sure that I felt comfortable. Sarah really went out of her way for me on numerous occasions and I appreciate her so much for it! -

Sarah is fantastic! I have visited her for occasion makeup, eyelashes, facials and of course my bridal makeup! She is knowledgable, professional and so enthusiastic about making you look the best on your big day. Sarah gave me the most romantic undo and my makeup was flawless. She is truly a talented artist and awesome chick! I highly recommend her for not only her bridal makeup but for her facials as well. She's the best!! -

Don't even bother looking at other artist options. Sarah is completely unmatched, her knowledge is incredible, as is her professionalism. Not to mention that what you get is very much worth the prices.
Coming from a person who can't even properly apply eyeliner, Sarah put me at ease with the whole process and left my girls, mother, and mother in law looking absolutely flawless. We all looked perfect all night.
Sarah is well worth the investment. -

Sarah is INCREDIBLE! From the first time I contacted her until the moment she and her assistant completed the last bridesmaid, she was the consummate professional. (My type-A personality appreciated this SO much!!!) We stayed right on schedule which was a feat considering there were 9 faces to be done.
But even more importantly, Sarah is unbelievably talented. As a person who doesn't wear makeup day-to-day, she was able to work with me to create a look that enhanced my features and didn't overwhelm them (or me). I've truly never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Her brow and lash skills are unmatched (no one believed I was wearing false lashes) and she was able to work with upwards of 5 different skin tones that were included in the 9 women I treated to makeup services for the wedding. I highly recommend booking Sarah for your wedding or for any occasion you may want to feel just a little more glam.

Sarah was awesome! We had a warm day in July and all of our make up stayed and lasted throughout the hot sun and dancing on the dance floor. She did my make up for my sisters wedding and I immediately hired her for my wedding. She listened to the vision I had for how I wanted to look and it was perfect! She is so sweet and does an amazing job! -

Sarah was an absolute delight to have around on my big day. She's fun, professional, talented, and has the ability to adjust to whatever makeup style each individual desires. She did makeup for ten women on my wedding day with different complexions, features, and ideas of what they wanted. She handled it like a pro. I was worried about being too "done up" for the day, but I looked exactly like myself, just with a little extra pow! The airbrush makeup stayed all day and I felt beautiful from start to finish. I just got my pictures back and was reliving it all. I could not recommend her services more. -

Prior to being recommended to Sarah, I had an appointment with another make-up artist. After meeting Sarah and seeing how beautiful her work was through the bridal trial, I cancelled my other appointment immediately. I booked Sarah for myself and my 5 bridesmaids who have very different make-up personalities. Sarah not only executed everyone's desired look but also added an extra polish and glow that is so necessary for a wedding! I am so grateful to have had Sarah as my make-up artist for my wedding day. Sarah was referred to me by a friend and I couldn't have been happier, or luckier, to have found such a fantastic makeup artist for my big day! Sarah went out of her way to travel to my parents house in CT for a consultation where she did makeup for not only myself but my mom and sister as well. We were so happy that we booked her on the spot. Come wedding day on the 19th of April Sarah arrived with a second artist, Kristine, who was equally talented, ready to beautify all the women! It was a fun few hours getting ready before the wedding and both Sarah and Kristine spent as much time with me as they did with my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law. Everyone loved the airbrushed makeup and fake lashes and both ladies brought out the natural beauty of each and every woman. They even touched up everyone's makeup before they left, ensuring we were picture perfect. I have never felt more beautiful and would recommend Sarah Giggar Makeup Artistry to every bride for their special day. -

Oh My GOODNESS!! Sarah Giggar is an EXTREMELY talented make-up artist. I feel so lucky to have had her do my make up for my wedding. During all the sessions I worked with Sarah, she was cool, calm, and collected. She did my make-up a few times before my wedding and each time I absolutely loved her work. She made me feel completely comfortable as she explained all the product she was using. I do not consider myself a make-up expert by any means, but she was able to clearly show me different looks of what I could go for. From the first time I contacted Sarah, she was quick to respond, professional, and easy to work with. When planning my wedding, I struggled with whether or not I should be the only one to get my make-up done professional or the entire wedding party. I had my bridesmaids and myself get our make-up done and each one of us looked cohesive in photographs and absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I would book with Sarah all over again if I could! She is an absolute doll and a pleasure to work with :-)!! -

My sisters and I LOVED what Sarah did with our makeup for my wedding. She was extremely professional, friendly, and responsive to what I wanted. She was easy to contact by email and we emailed back and forth about what look I wanted before my trial, which she did right at our house! When I inevitably changed my mind months later, she was very supportive of my new ideas and implemented them perfectly the morning of the wedding! She did an excellent job on my mom and bridesmaids as well. If you want a professional who will come to your house to do your makeup, definitely use Sarah! -

Sarah did the make up for my daughter's wedding this past Saturday. She arrived on time and made each bridesmaid, the mother of the bride and the bride look absolutely gorgeous! The make up looked amazing and all the guests commented on how very beautiful each person of the bridal party looked. Sarah is friendly and professional and easy to work with. She is very accessible and gracious and although she is the professional and knows what is best for each face she works on, she is willing to make changes and go with what each client wants. I found Sarah through a recommendation from an acquaintance and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a professional make up artist. She is wonderful. -

I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found Sarah. She did my make up and my moms for my wedding day and again the next day for a party reception for which she did 8 bridesmaids as well. Everyone looked beautiful and was done ahead of schedule. She even did eyelashes for every girl! I have gotten my make up for various other weddings I was in and there is no comparison. Sarah is the best. Not only is she great at what she does she is also professional thorough and fun! I had a great time getting ready and felt the most beautiful I have ever felt. What more could you ask for? -

I chose Sarah Giggar Makeup Artistry for my wedding day, and I would choose her again in a HEARTBEAT if I had to do it all over again.
I have never had my makeup done professionally, so of course I was nervous that I wouldn't look like myself - or that I would look "caked on". When I met Sarah for the first time, I did a trial for my engagement pictures and was SO pleased with the outcome - not only did the makeup feel so light, it LOOKED light and natural. Sarah kept her professionalism throughout the trial by making sure I was comfortable, allowing me to look at the progress as she went, and encouraged me to speak up if I didn't like anything. Of course, that wasn't necessary because she does amazing work!
On my wedding day, Sarah showed up to my house right on time, quickly set up in our kitchen, and got right to work. She was a calming spirit in an otherwise somewhat-stressed house with 7 women getting ready for a wedding! Sarah took her time during each of my bridesmaids and my mom's applications, making sure they felt comfortable. Some girls don't prefer heavy eye makeup or blush, and she truly made each of my bridesmaids look FLAWLESS, natural, and simply gorgeous. All of my bridesmaids and my mom kept complimenting each other at how beautiful they all looked.
Sarah is not only a truly talented and gifted makeup artist, but she is a kind-hearted and genuine person. She has a personality that can mesh with anyone, surely a guarantee for a flawless and peaceful experience. Given my experience in a one-on-one setting for my trial, and in a house filled with excited women prepping for a wedding, Sarah remained professional, all while being "one of the girls".
I would recommend Sarah's makeup services to anyone, any age - whether they need it for a wedding or special event. I can't say enough great things about her, and once you meet her - you'll instantly understand why.

Sarah is a phenomenal make up artist. I'm a makeup junkie myself, so I'm not particularly easy to please. First, Sarah was happy to share tips and tricks with me at the makeup trial. She gave me a comprehensive list to get my skin into tip top shape before the wedding. She answered a ton of questions and was always responsive to my many emails. Most importantly, my wedding day makeup was flawless, and it lasted until well into the wee hours of the morning. I looked fabulous even in photos from the after party. My mom and matron of honor were also thrilled with their makeup. I'd recommend Sarah in a heartbeat. She is a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional! -

Giggar Makeup Artistry (by Sarah!) was an absolute, absolute pleasure to work with. She did makeup for me and my bridal party on May 12, 2012. She traveled to the site and covered six of us (including even my Mom!) and absolutely everyone loved their makeup!
Sarah was so accessible, professional and knowledgeable from start to finish. She provided consultation in person, and as well by email and phone whenever I had a question.
Also, one of my favorite aspects of Sarah's business is that she wants her clients to build their beauty by working on healthy skincare-- it's not just about throwing some makeup on during the day of your wedding, it's about total preparation and understanding how to maximize the health of your skin so you've got a great natural canvas on the big day!
She gave me a full skincare consultation months before my wedding and recommended to me some awesome products I would never have tried otherwise (the Mia! and others), and also gave me some skincare 101 for how to deal with my acne medication and breakouts the month before my wedding (not easy with my skin!). I followed her advice, and my skin is currently in the best condition it's been in for a long, long time! She taught me not only how to prep for a wedding but how to have better skin for life!
Her replies by email were quick, thorough and helpful. She also recommended great makeup products and lip colors for me to try out to think about my "look" for the wedding. I ended up finding a new favorite lip color, and learning a little bit more about how to get the vibe of Joan from Mad Men (Christina Hendricks) -- that's who inspired my makeup!
We also had a trial run during which Sarah spent so much time with me and my Maid of Honor trying out different looks and making sure I got exactly the look I wanted -- and I got that and more on my wedding day :)
And, most important about the makeup -- it stayed on!!! It managed to look natural and dewey but did not smear or run the whole day (despite some pretty sweaty dancing at the reception and lots of tears the whole day.)
I can't say enough awesome things about Sarah. Her service is outstanding. A pleasure to work with -- she is professional, prompt, talented, thorough, and so sweet and easy going to be with on your wedding day!
