Their are so many nuances to navigate that are so unexpected at a wedding, I'm not sure how we would have done it without Sarah. Not only does she provide amazing photography, but the best guidance and support you could hope for. Can not recommend her enough, she really helped make our wedding special! -

We are not from the Maine area originally but were in Boothbay for vacation, and wanted a dual session on Hendrick's Head beach (Southport Island), and candid photos walking around town. We got some quotes from photographers in the area, and Sarah was the only one that offered a 2 hour session for under $500. We were nervous going into this since neither my fiancée or I have ever had professional photos done, and are a little awkward in front of a camera.
Sarah did not let that be an issue - we instantly connected with her and felt comfortable. She guided us where we needed but ultimately let us do our thing together, it was a great balance.
Her turn around time is also insanely fast - she got hundreds of edited photos back to us within 3 days of our shoot. We also love that she provides all the pictures back to you, so you're not receiving only a certain amount of photos.
Thank you Sarah for making this experience amazing :) -

Sarah is amazing! The photos are fantastic and she had them sent to us 48 hours after the wedding!!
She was very responsive throughout the planning process, prompt on the day of and didn't miss a single photo opportunity! She even braved the rainy weather with us.
We are so thrilled to have had her capture our wedding and to have these photos forever! Thank you Sarah! -

Amazing photographer
Sarah was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was our photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos and they came out amazing! It rained all day the day of our wedding and the night photos in the rain are some of our favorites. She even won an award with not only one, but two of wedding photos! We would highly recommend her if you are looking for a photographer in the Maine area! -

If you're looking for a review telling you to hire Sarah, this is it. Sarah was amazing to work with. We hired her early in the wedding planning process and she took our engagement photos which turned out beautifully. Then as we got closer to the wedding she checked in, and then on the wedding day she was so awesome. She listened to everything my husband and I wanted as far as photo style and she followed the photo list and schedule I set. She was a helping hand in directing people. She was always available when we needed her but she was never in the way and there are moments I don't remember seeing her but I saw photos of myself and guests in that moment. It was so great to have someone so invested in capturing every moment of our wedding. Her turnaround time is amazing as well! Our wedding was on a Friday, and we received all of our photos (Which are beautiful) on the following Tuesday. I would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat. -

Sarah did an amazing job photographing our wedding! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was very responsive in answering my many emails/questions. When Hurricane Henri hit on our wedding weekend, I texted Sarah the morning of our wedding day to see if she would be able to arrive early to squeeze a few photos in before the rain began. Sure enough, she showed up an hour early and was SO flexible in following my fiance/wedding party & I around in the mist which then became a steady rain that forced us inside. Through it all, she had a cheerful attitude and didn't complain once about getting absolutely soaked. Sarah was up for anything, and even trekked back out in the mud with my husband after the ceremony & I to capture an amazing shot of us on the rocky Kennebunkport coastline.
We got our photos back just 3 days after our wedding (super quick!) and were so impressed with the way they turned out - our friends & family all agreed as well! Sarah did a phenomenal job and we are forever greatful to her for capturing so many amazing moments that we will look back on with such happy memories!!!! -

Sarah is more than just an amazing, professional, creative photographer! She doubled as a day-of therapist and helps you get through the natural ups and downs of your wedding day. She helped us get through some bridesmaid hair/makeup meltdowns while keeping me distracted from the mayhem, all while taking the most beautiful and amazing photos. Sarah was a breath of fresh air, remaining bright and positive. She followed me and my husband through our special day, reminding us of essential shots and assuring me that some bumps along the way are normal. Even more, there were preview shots in my inbox 12 hours after the wedding ended. The complete gallery was available in under 48 hours. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING SARAH FOR ANYTHING, but especially weddings. She does an amazing job of capturing you candidly, while also offering posing tips/advice when needed. Sarah is a must-book for any bride in the Maine area. -

Absolutely Amazing
Sarah was such a delight to work with! She shot our very intimate backyard ceremony. Sarah made us feel at ease the whole time and did not miss a moment. She helped to come up with some unique photos that we did not originally think of! Sarah made sure to remind me of certain photos that I had mentioned but in the moment would have completely forgotten about. We really appreciate everything Sarah did to capture our day! This was not the original day we had planned due to the pandemic but Sarah helped us to make it so much more than we had expected! I would highly recommend having Sarah as your photographer! -

Sarah Sent on 10/26/2019A patient photographer who captures everything!
Sarah was so fantastic for our wedding Oct. 19. She was perfectly on time for everything and very careful to ensure she captured every shot we had on our photo wish list. And talk about patient! We had to corral many folks for various photos and she never acted like it was a bother.
Sarah seems to really care about the work she does. She spent time to make conversation and relate to all of us. She also asked both me and the groom questions to get a feel for "us" as a couple.
When we got our photos, I realized Sarah caught many moments I never knew she was around for. Her documentary/journalistic style makes you feel as if you're back in that day again.
Also, Sarah got us TONS of photos within days. The quickest the around ever. It's hard to believe she works so fast! They were all high quality, well-composed and absolutely beautiful. We are thankful for Sarah and everything she did to make our day easy. -

Sarah was nothing short of amazing. She exceeded all of my expectations and was a pleasure to work with and have by my side. (She saved the day when I had a major dress malfunction) Sarah was there when my girls and I were getting ready and stayed until the very end to capture our Sparkler Exit!! A very long day for her!! She didn't miss a single photo opportunity and captured the love and happiness that was experienced by ALL. Our photos tell a beautiful story that we will have for years. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I love reliving our day over and over again. Thank you for answering all my questions, addressing all my needs, and making this a pleasant experience. She is incredible
My husband and I got married in May of this year and Sarah photographed our wedding. She was absolutely incredible! We can't say enough good things about her. She was quick to respond when we first reached out and worked with us to find a time for our engagement photos since we live out of state. She listened to any requests we had but we mainly turned it over to her and let her decide. Our only request was we wanted to night photos with our light sabers. And let me tell you she didn't disappoint!
We had our engagement photos at Portland Head Light on Labor Day weekend but you would never be able to tell that from the photos. We are both awkward in front of the camera but she made us feel comfortable and took so many candid shots. Many times we didn't even know she was there. Every photo she took was amazing and we are having a hard time deciding which ones to print!
One of the things that sets her apart is she tries to capture your whole day. She doesn't put a time limit (within reason obviously) like many other photographers so she doesn't miss a shot. She even came back after saying good bye because she saw the lights in the limo and really wanted to capture some photos with us getting in the limo. Another example of her going above and beyond. If you need a photographer for your wedding, hire Sarah! -

Sarah is wonderful! She was quick to get back to my initial inquiry and very flexible in setting up an engagement shoot. She was easy to work with and had our engagement shoot pictures to us 6 hours after our shoot!! In addition
than her being generally incredible, her prices are amazing. We're super excited for her to be our wedding photographer, and anyone looking should definitely hire Sarah! -

Sarah was so wonderful and easy to work with. She truly tailored the day and shots to what we were looking for based on our phone calls and emails leading up to the wedding. She was so responsive leading up to our wedding, and day of, she was so laid back. Her presence was truly calming! We had a fairly tight timeline and she kept us moving to be sure we could get in as many photos as possible. She had a preview to me the same night, and the entire album within a few days. We cannot stop talking about how great Sarah was. I will be singing her praises to anyone who will listen! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! -
