WOW Sarah is the BEST! We hired Sarah for our engagement photos and wedding day and I have been beyond impressed.
Both our engagement photos and wedding day were in somewhat obscure, mountainous locations and instead of feeling like it was a hassle, Sarah made me feel like I was providing her with such a fun opportunity to travel and experience somewhere new.
From our first phone consultation, I was immediately impressed with Sarah. Her overall vibe seemed to be a great fit for us and she was very low-pressure and go with the flow (exactly what we were going for!). When choosing a photographer, it was important to me to choose someone who was great at capturing candid moments, had a relatively quick turnaround time, and had a good understanding of the type of day I was envisioning overall- Sarah over-delivered on all of these things!
I wanted to minimize the "everyone line up and smile" type of photos and optimize for candids, so I provided Sarah a pretty limited list of essential family photos we'd snap immediately following our ceremony. I was super impressed that Sarah was strong in defending my wishes when inevitably family members started requesting more of the posed photos. Sarah seems to have perfectly mastered the balance of blending in and capturing natural moments and being a strong bridal advocate and stepping in where needed to make sure the day was exactly what I wanted.
Following both our wedding photos and engagement photos, Sarah provided me with some previews within 24 hours. This is SO nice and huge when the excitement is high and you're dying to share! Beyond her speediness, the quality of her photos is AMAZING. She has captured every special moment of our day- big and small- and we are SO THANKFUL! -

This review is not big enough for me to express how amazing Sarah was as our wedding photographer. Our original photographer was unable to shoot our wedding, and I stumbled upon Sarah on Instagram and it was love at first sight. I was blown away by her photos - how natural and candid they looked and how every couple wasn't posed, but the photos were just as (or even more) beautiful. She uses darker contrasts which is what we wanted since our wedding was in March. Since we live out of state, we were able to Zoom call with Sarah a few times and we just clicked right away. She also was so flexible with her photo packages and we were able to customize it for what we wanted. Leading up to wedding week, she was so easy to get ahold of and communicate with when some of the timeline changed. For the day of, we hired a second photographer to shoot alongside Sarah and we are so so happy we did. Her and Courtney shot our day perfectly. We received our photos back so timely and just sat in awe at all 1500 of them!! We are seriously blown away. We love you, Sarah, and are so happy you shot our day! We also just enjoyed her presence, which made the day even more comfortable. She made us laugh, made us smile, and made us truly soak it all in. Do yourself a favor and hire Sarah as your photographer for your wedding. We originally started working with Sarah back in 2019 when she took our engagement photos. Like many 2020 couples, we were impacted by Covid-19 and had to postpone our wedding. We eventually ended up rescheduling our wedding and moved the location to another state. While hosting our wedding in a different state meant rebooking with different vendors, we decided to keep one vendor and that was Sarah. We knew Sarah was the photographer we wanted to work with. Below are some reasons that you should work with Sarah.
1. First and foremost, you're most likely here reading this review because you want to know about her work. Let me offer you a vote of confidence here. Sarah is an amazingly talented photographer. Sarah will document your day helping you relive those special moments. Her work speaks for herself, so go check it out, really.
2. Now a wedding day is already stressful enough. Sarah really helps ease that burden by being an extremely easy and pleasant person to work with. Sarah is on top of her stuff, from photo list so that you get all the shots you want, checking on you ahead of the wedding, and finally making you also feel safe during these uncertain times. I never had to second guess, or feel like I needed to check on Sarah. For example, Sarah went to our venue beforehand and checked out spots for nice lighting for our photos.
3. Finally, Sarah is just a great person overall. While Covid-19 extended our planning process, it gave us the gift of getting to work with Sarah over a longer period of time. We're thankful for her friendship and help during our planning process. We really felt that Sarah became someone we could trust. She is kind, helpful, and extremely understanding. Once you start working with her, you'll realize Sarah is extremely passionate about her work and that passion comes through in the deliverables she helps produce for you and your loved one.

Working with Sarah was an absolute dream! We booked her for both engagement and wedding photos and have been SO in love with the photos she captured. Sarah's ability to capture not only the big moments, but the small intimate moments is amazing. Working with her is easy and seamless, she is super communicative, and always went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the outcome of her services. If you’re looking for a photographer, Sarah is a no brainer! We were fortunate to have her do our engagement photos and our wedding. From the first phone call with her we felt an instant trust and her professionalism shined through. We had plenty of interaction with Sarah during the time leading up to the wedding and it was evident that her top priority was capturing our day the way we envisioned it. She asked a ton of questions and paid attention to every detail. The day of the wedding she was so kind, patient and organized and it felt like she was everywhere. I swear there were 8 of her and she didn’t miss a moment. We knew Sarah had skills but she absolutely blew our minds. The pictures turned absolutely stunning and we could not be happier. In addition, not only is Sarah ridiculously gifted, she is an amazing, kind human. We all felt like friends from the jump and a lot of that has to do with her kind, caring and sincere demeanor. If you want ridiculously beautiful pictures and the peace of mind that no moment will be missed I recommend booking Sarah ASAP! It will be the best decision you make! -

Sarah was amazing! My husband and I are so happy we chose her to capture our wedding day. Sarah has an ability of capturing your day exactly how it is and getting so many sweet intimate moments with your loved ones. We absolutely love the way our pictures turned out. Sarah was a joy to work with! She was so friendly, put us all at ease and took amazing photographs of our engagement and wedding! The guests were so complementary of her and appreciated her relaxed demeanor. Sarah captured the artistic details of the day. As someone who is camera shy, Sarah made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The best part is the photos were amazing! Thank you again for being part of this wedding journey and capturing all the special moments!
