One of the Best Decisions of Our Wedding!!
Sarah was the first vendor we selected and was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From our very first meeting we could tell we were the perfect match. She is kind, thoughtful, flexible, and very talented!! When you hire Sarah, you are hiring much more than a wedding photographer. You're hiring someone who will go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding day runs smoothly, and is the day you and your fiance dreamed of.
Leading up to the wedding, Sarah was our go-to for any and all wedding advice. Her questions and her insight in the wedding industry helped us think about and plan out our wedding, and ensured that no details got missed. Sarah was flexible in meeting with us, and was always very accommodating. She helped us both create and work through any kinks in our wedding day timeline. Sarah also took the time to reach out to our other wedding vendors to make sure she was aware of when they would be arriving so that she could capture all of their work, and to help make sure everyone was on the same page regarding our timeline.
Sarah and her assistants were all so kind and fun to work with on the day of our wedding! We were surprised by how comfortable we felt in front of the camera. Sarah sent us sneak peaks of our photos the morning after our wedding, and delivered all of our photos to us weeks early!!!
Sarah helped make sure that the wedding we envisioned became a reality, and she captured every moment perfectly. We look forward to working with Sarah again in the future, and highly recommend using her for any of your photography needs!! -

Sarah Botta is an incredibly talented photographer who has a great eye for capturing soft, romantic shots. We initially reached out to her because we loved her photo style and the photos she had previously taken at our venue, Silverbrook Farm. We immediately connected with her; she was easy to talk to and was genuinely interested in us as a couple. It was an easy decision to go with her, and we are so happy we did. We now have the most beautiful photos from both our engagement session and our wedding. She captured so much love and joy, and we’re so thrilled that we will always have these beautiful photos to remind us of this truly amazing day in our lives.
Sarah is also incredibly organized, which was super helpful throughout the planning process. She offers many helpful tips ranging from outfit suggestions for engagement photos to things to keep in mind when working with a florist and items to bring for wedding day detail shots. All of this ensured that we would have beautiful photos. We would absolutely recommend her, without reservation, to other couples looking for a talented, kind wedding photographer.

I am so glad that we chose Sarah as our wedding photographer. She is so sweet and easy to work with; I could not have loved our photos more! They were absolutely gorgeous and she captured our most important moments so beautifully. Sarah Is absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about her. We hired her a year ago after searching for a photographer whose style was light, airy and romantic and I stumbled upon Sarah and immediately knew she was who I wanted to photograph my wedding. Our first initial call was effortless and I felt like I was speaking to an old friend. Sarah is incredibly talented, humble and is a true professional. Our engagement sessions which we had about 5 months before our wedding were wonderful. Sarah guided us through everything, gave us tips on outfits and colors that photograph well and was so much fun to be around. We felt so comfortable around Sarah and we were all laughing the entire time! When I got my engagement photos back I was in awe of just how beautiful they came out ! I could not choose which one I liked best as all of them were gorgeous.
This past weekend my fiancée and I had our wedding and it was a joy having Sarah there. She truly cares about her bride and groom and all of our guests and vendors loved her! Sarah is kind, thoughtful and her work is absolutely breathtaking. We so look forward to having her photograph future events in our life and value her as a trusted friend! -

Sarah is the best!
Sarah is awesome to say the least! My fiancée booked her about a year before our wedding and could not stop raving about her. As a guy I don’t know a whole lot about photography but my fiancée was so excited to have her photograph our wedding that I had to go along with it just seeing how excited she was about Sarah. We had our engagement session in the early summer and I didn’t know what to expect but working with Sarah was awesome! Everything felt relaxed and effortless and not like just a bunch of poses. She took pictures of us walking in fields and we just felt at ease and natural. Sarah is a good sport and had us laughing the entire time. Hope and I were so excited getting our engagement pictures back and I now knew why Hope had her heart set on Sarah photographing our wedding- the pictures were amazing! They are something I will treasure as it was the first time Hope and I had ever gotten professional pictures of ourselves. Sarah photographed our wedding this past weekend and it was fun seeing her again and my wife Hope and I felt so at ease knowing our pictures would turn out beautiful yet again! We can not recommend Sarah enough :) -

Sarah is an amazing photographer! She is detail oriented, very patient, sweet and easy to work with work. Everything was such a easy process from the initial phone call to the delivery. She really takes the time to get to know the bride & groom before & during the engagement session. Then gathers as much information as possible on the bridal party & family to help make everyone comfortable. All which reflect in all the amazing pictures she was able to capture. We are so grateful for all the wonderful memories we will now cherish forever of my daughter's wedding day. -

Sarah is a truly gifted photographer. Her work is gorgeous and she is a pleasure to work with! She really gets to know her clients during meetings/sessions and is just super sweet. We had an engagement session (included as part of her wedding packages) and a mini Christmas session with our dog prior to our wedding and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On our wedding day, she and her second shooter captured every aspect of the day from different angles and gave us a beautiful overview of our whole day. She captured all of the emotions on everyone’s faces, she captured the big and small moments, these photos will last us a lifetime and will be beautiful reminders of our perfect wedding day. Amazing, authentic, personal photographer!
Sarah was amazing on my wedding day! Not only is she a great photographer and very organized, she’s one of the sweetest people I have met! She truly makes you at ease on your wedding day and is genuinely happy for you. Her and her assistants made the whole experience wonderful! I only got married about a week ago, but Sarah has sent some sneak peaks and they look amazing! Can’t wait to see the whole package!

Okay, this review is long but its because I honestly don't know how my day would have gone without Sarah. She was the first vendor we booked and from our first phone call, we never second-guessed our choice. We were right in our gut feelings about Sarah. She is kind, competent, thoughtful, and artistic. My brother-in-law loved our engagement photos so much they ended up booking her for a family mini-shoot.
She takes her business seriously and this shows in so many ways. All of her communication was clear, she was organized, she sent and edited timelines with me, helped me create a shot list, etc. She also really cares for her clients and did sweet things like send us congratulatory cookies. When you're a stressed out bride, a competent vendor combined with those little touches means everything to you because they remind you to enjoy this process. On the day of the wedding she was always calm, flexible, relaxed, and poised, which I really appreciated.
My husband who was nervous about being pinned down for photos absolutely loved Sarah. She made him feel like photos were a fun a romantic date and his joy in the photos shows through. She gives direction incredibly well so we got shots we would have never come up with ourselves. She has a creative eye that catches natural moments like none other.
I feel so happy to have worked with Sarah and know my family loves all of the photos just as much as I do. Sarah made it easy for me to share with my family because I wanted a tech-free ceremony. She was super kind to have even given my mother a sneak preview on the day of the wedding.

My fiance and I were very nervous being photographed, but Sarah knew what poses to do (and flattering) and jumped right in. Her lighthearted approach made us comfortable and relaxed. She worked quickly but still took the time to capture precious moments. I am so grateful to her and her team. -
Zoe Sent on 12/20/2017Sarah is absolutely amazing! As a huge fan of Pinterest, I had many picture ideas "pinned" which she printed out and used during the wedding day! She is great to work with, understanding and helpful when it comes to planning out the timing of the BIG day photos. She really helps the picture process during the engagement sessions by teaching the couple poses which will be used again for wedding photos. I highly recommend Sarah Botta Photography!!

Grainy Reception Photos
Sarah photographed my wedding in June 2022. Prior to our wedding day and during, Sarah was great. She was communicative, professional, and our engagement pictures turned out beautifully. I also have a skin condition which can be visible on my arms, legs, and back. When I discussed these areas with Sarah during booking, she was kind enough to offer to Photoshop these skin blemishes out at no additional cost.
Unfortunately, when we received our wedding gallery, about 50 pictures were grainy. When I asked Sarah about these, she explained they were "lower aperture possibly and higher settings within the camera to compensate for lower light situations". While I can understand exposure, there were other photos with around the same lighting and further into the night that were exposed properly and did not have a grainy appearance. In looking at the detailed specs of the pictures, the majority of the grainy ones were shot with ISO-12800, which other professional photographers informed me were VERY high and is what caused the grainy appearance. These pictures included photographs of my husband and I dressed in our traditional Vietnamese outfits, us visiting the tables with all of our guests, our Frisbee toss (instead of a bouquet toss), and cake cutting. None of these pictures can be re-created. I had asked if she could do any editing to fix the grainy pictures, and she replied saying since it was in the camera settings, editing won't make much of a difference. Based on those two responses, I decided to request a partial refund for the % of pictures that were grainy since they were due to her camera settings, and I did not pay for grainy pictures.
She did not respond for 6 days, when she usually responded within 1-2 days. Three days after I sent my refund email, she updated her social media with an out of office (OOO) instead of letting me know directly. I felt this was a little unprofessional, as she typically replied within 1-2 days, so seeing her "OOO" story without any response to my email prior felt like she was purposely ignoring me. In the end, due to her contract wording, she did not offer any partial refund (or additional products). However, since I requested the partial refund, she said she would "take another look" at the grainy pictures. She eventually returned the updated pictures, which were definitely improved, but still not the same quality as it would have been had she put her camera settings appropriately from the start. I question why she did not edit them to at least be more presentable when I asked about the grainy pictures the first two times. If I had just accepted those initial responses, I would have been left with the original, grainy quality pictures.
The removal of stars is directly related to the grainy pictures in my wedding gallery and how I feel communication was handled after feedback was given to her. I have also included a few examples of the grainy pictures she took as part of this review. -
