Sarah is the best! She did an amazing job capturing our wedding day. She was incredibly professional and unobtrusive, capturing so many beautiful moments while still allowing us to stay fully present. We received a preview album within a week of the wedding, but Sarah went above and beyond by quickly sending additional photos with our guests so I could include them in our thank-you notes. I could not recommend her more highly!! -

Sarah was a great elopement photographer. She was affordable, flexible, and really good at capturing the moment. We had two big asks of our wedding photographer: we needed to pick the locations, and we needed her to get up early and hike with us. Neither was an issue for Sarah. She did a perfect job of capturing the moments and emotions throughout the day. Our elopement felt like we were the only ones on top of the mountain because Sarah is so good at working with what you want. She was scrambling around with her numerous cameras capturing every angle of our marriage. The photos were exactly what my wife and I wanted. We will always be glad we chose Sarah to capture the best day of our lives! -

We can’t thank Sarah enough!
Sarah was absolutely amazing. She captured our intimate moments with truly breathtaking photos. She was up for anything, including the hike out, and the 6 a.m. meetup at the trailhead. She was completely dedicated to capturing our love in the most meaningful way. She guided us through poses with ease, giving us some of our favorite memories from the day. The locations she chose were stunning, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. She was everything we wanted and more. We can’t thank her enough! -

Best photographer in CO!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Sarah for our wedding! From the start, she made both of us feel completely comfortable—even during our engagement shoot, which was huge for us since we’re naturally pretty shy in front of the camera.
On the wedding day, Sarah was a natural. She captured the beauty of our surroundings in such an authentic way, with a mix of stunning portraits and incredible candid shots. One of the things we asked was for her to follow us around during cocktail hour so we could get photos with our friends without being pulled away from the celebration. She nailed it—Sarah blended right in, and half the time we didn’t even realize she was nearby, yet she managed to capture the most genuine, joy-filled moments.
Her ability to tell the story of our day through her photos is something we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for someone who is not only talented behind the camera but also warm, approachable, and amazing to work with, we can’t recommend Sarah enough!
We also just gifted our families albums and prints from the digital photo album Sarah sent us and they were huge hits. Our families were mentioning how lucky we were to have found Sarah.

Colorados Best
Sarah is absolutely amazing. Her attention to detail is incredible. She is absolute magic! She was the solo photographer for my wedding and wow we are blown away. She was able to capture all of the most important details and many many more. Her production of photos is quick as well, just 6 shot days after my wedding I had an album of 41 photos. She is hands down the best photographer. We are so thankful to have her be a part of our day. She truly makes you feel beautiful and makes sure to go above and beyond. -

Sarah was an absolute delight to work with. We unfortunately experienced some challenging moments due to issues with venue staff during my wedding, and she kept me calm and grounded. I joked she was my emotional support photographer (completely true). Her poise and professionalism not only resulted in beautiful photos, but ultimately helped make our wedding better from a planning perspective. She answered all my (millions of) questions, recommended beautiful locations for an engagement shoot, and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Pricing was very reasonable, communication was open, honest, and prompt, and edited photos were delivered right on time as was promised. I absolutely and whole heartedly recommend Sarah! She is a gem. -

Fabulous experience!
We found Sarah after having a bad experience with our engagement photographer and Sarah was amazing! She spent a ton of time making sure we had a solid plan and timeline that fit what we were looking for. On the day of, Sarah and her team were prompt, took initiative, and were kind to us and our guests. Their presence was barely noticeable and they provided guidance when needed. We absolutely love our photos- they took a little extra time but we had a large wedding party and she gave us a heads up and clearly spent time editing (she also had a newborn). There were a variety of posed and candid photos and the posed looked natural and included a few fun and unique ones. She was incredibly professional throughout and we cannot thank her enough! -

Wonderful Photographer
Sarah is an incredibly talented and dedicated photographer! She handled everything so well for our big day and I wasn’t worried about a thing. She also was a huge help with keeping to the timeline so everything ran smoothly. My favorite thing about her is that she was not only willing to do destination photos away from the wedding site, but also excited to. My only problem is that she took so many gorgeous shots that I have too many favorites!!! My house would look like a museum of myself if I hung all of my favorites on the wall! She is very honest, reliable, and flexible as well. Don’t hesitate to book her! -

Sarah was an absolute delight to work with for our elopement. She not only helped us pick the perfect location but she guided us seamlessly through the process. Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with. From our first meeting with her, we found her easy to get along with and super knowledgeable about her craft. Her pricing seemed more than reasonable given what other photographers quoted us and we got incredible value for what we paid for. She was willing to scramble around snowy rocks while a couple months pregnant to get the perfect shot during our engagement session, and then was incredibly flexible when COVID changed all of our wedding plans. Sarah worked with us to make adjustments to fit our original package pricing and then drove all the way to Durango (our wedding was originally set to be in Boulder) for the wedding itself. The final photos were beyond what we could have hoped for as two people relatively uncomfortable in front of the camera. We absolutely adore them and they were delivered on the promised schedule. We were so fortunate to have Sarah photograph our wedding and our only regret with hiring her is that she was already booked on the date that we've set for our vow renewal/wedding in 2021, so we can't use her again. -

I can't stress enough what an amazing photographer Sarah is. I admire all the photos she shares, and am still in love with all of the photos from our two hour adventure session last fall! Like, I don't have enough walls in my house for all of my favorites...
On top of her unrelenting talent, she was a pleasure to work with, and gave us just the right amount of direction to get poised, yet natural, dramatic photographs together during our honeymoon session.
She was VERY flexible on our location- we actually didn't settle on it until the night before the shoot, and she was willing to meet at a new location that we had just scoped out (St Mary's Glacier). Despite her unfamiliarity, she knew exactly how to use the scenery and the light there to get beautiful portraits of us with some absolutely stunning backdrops. She's a natural!
And on top of all this, and I found her prices to be very reasonable- maybe even on the conservative side for an adventure session in the Denver area. I'm so, so grateful for this, and for our once-in-a-lifetime photographs!

Sarah is simply AWESOME ! It was so much fun to be with her during our photo shoot. She made us feel so comfortable especially my husband who is very shy. She actually gave us so many tips so that our pics don't look 'fake candid' in any way. And of course she had so many ideas. I had been following her on Instagram for quite a while as I loved her work so much. But little did I know that soon she would be taking my engagement photos too. She was 8 months pregnant when she took our photos. But that didn't stop her in any way from doing her best for us. That was really very touching for both me and my husband. I would highly recommend her. She has some amazing photography skills. She knows how to bring out the best in her clients. One doesn't need to worry at all, if she is the photographer. -

We chose to have a destination wedding in Boulder, CO. I spoke to 8 different photographers and chose Sarah. I chose to have the ceremony at Sunrise Amphitheater on Flagstaff Mountain. I loved her knowledge of the area and how she talked about taking pictures with the rocky mountains in the background. That was totally what I had in mind for my destination wedding!
Sarah also did a great job with our wedding reception. She worked off my long shot list and captured all the moments I had in mind. Overall, I am super happy with Sarah! Thank you for capturing all the moments of our special day. We will be looking at these pictures for years to come! -

Sarah is amazing. She's easy to work with and has a brilliant eye (a beautiful combination of fine art and journalism). Not only did she deliver absolutely gorgeous photos, but she smoothly navigated the wedding day with two big families and two sets of divorced parents. I could not be happier and will be calling her up to hopefully work with her again in the future (family photos, anniversary photos...).

My husband and I traveled from AZ to Aspen, CO for our wedding and pictures were very important to both of us. We live in a beautiful town in AZ called Sedona and I plan weddings for a living so I knew if we choose a different location other than Sedona it would have to be beautiful and have killer photos so we choose Aspen in the fall.
After researching tons of photographers I came across Sarah and I loved her work. Once I spoke with her on the phone I knew she was the perfect choice. She was prompt and responsive to my calls/emails. She offered ideas and suggestions for locations for our photos and most important you could tell she was passionate about photography.
On our big day she was awesome....The morning of our wedding we woke up and all phones and internet were down in the town of Aspen (apparently it can happen, the cell towers had gone down). I was suppose to touch base with Sarah that morning and give her a definite time and location for meeting... when I wasn’t able to reach out I did become a little stressed but went with the flow. About an hour before our ceremony cell service was restored and I was able to reach her. She was in Aspen patiently waiting for our call and ready to go. She had travel from Denver despite not being able to contact us, I was so thankful! Shortly after our ceremony we had rain which slowed us down but she never once complained or tried to hurry us along. She was flexible, accommodating, understanding and reliable all while smiling! After the ceremony we went to 4 different locations for photos and she was game for all of them (thank you Sarah!!!) She’s an absolute sweetheart and our photos turned out amazing! We would highly recommend her for your special day or family photos. Thanks for being a part of our special day Sarah! -

We loved working with Sarah. She really listened to what we wanted out of our wedding photos and was better than our wedding planner at thinking through our timeline and ultimately keeping us to it. She was incredibly flexible, and her personality is contagious. She seems like a genuinely happy and calm person, and that is exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day!
Sarah worked with us to ensure that we had first look photos in front of graffiti, group posed shots in gorgeous Colorado nature at a park she scouted and found for us, and even humored our request to take photos on the trolley on the way up to the venue. When it rained during our ceremony and made sunset photos less worthwhile, she even set up a separate time with us to do another photo shoot months later to re-take some photos and get the shots we wanted (even though we felt crazy for asking!) She is just a joy to be around and her photos are simply breathtaking. I've gotten so many compliments on them already, but even received several compliments on the day of from the wedding party. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough!
I don't want to share my wedding pics on the interwebs, but if you ask Sarah for a gallery it will give you a really good sense of her ability to take the gorgeous posed shots you want alongside the amazing candids you need. -

We were looking for someone that would give us a journalistic (in the moment) touch as well as all of the classic wedding moments you treasure. Sarah delivered again and again with special spontaneous shots as well as creative posed shots.
We love that our photos look professional and artistic but still look like us. They reflect how the day really felt and celebrate our friends and families and their unique personalities as well. We love the mountains and area we live in. She brought out the beauty of the scenery in creative and gorgeous ways!
Sarah lets you know up front what you can expect from her and then sticks to it. She was willing to come to our reception and wedding venues several weeks before the event at the last minute just to walk through it with us and get a head start for scouting great photo locations. She was patient with our friends and families and kept us moving through the day but never seemed stressed if we were running late or if something didn't go exactly according to plan.
We are beyond pleased and would recommend Sarah Barth Images to anyone.
