Beautiful pictures with a kind photographer

Our wedding day at Sarah Babcock Studio was absolutely magical. From the moment we stepped into the studio, we knew we were in good hands. Sarah Babcock was a wonderful photographer from start to finish- she was kind, understanding, and professional through all the phone calls, texts, and changed plans. We decided to put on our dresses a week early to do a first look rather than engagement photos and they are just perfect- she is timely about getting the photos back and they are MORE than what we could have asked for. She was worth every penny and planning conversation (which she made easy) and I hope to hire her again someday! I’ve already recommended her to my friends getting married soon because they are so enamored with our pictures. Thank you, Sarah!

Backyard wedding

Sarah was the photographer for our outdoor, backyard wedding and an engagement session and we had such a great experience! I didn't have a lot of specific inspiration in mind for photos and Sarah guided us in finding locations, and even providing suggestions for outfits, that really fit our personalities. She made the whole process so simple and fun and guided us through all of our photos sessions so they were something that we really enjoyed! We will treasure these photos!

The best photographer in the gameee

Sarah was an absolute DREAM to work with! She is so incredibly talented, fun and kind. Sarah did our engagement photos and wedding photos and absolutely crushed it. It was a traditional Hindu wedding and Sarah was amazing about capturing all the important moments. She was so patient with all the family and guests and really brought the magic to capture the day. I would recommend her over and over again!! Really helped our dream day come true.

The greatest

Words can hardly describe how thankful I am to have had Sarah as my wedding day photographer! Not only is she extremely creative and talented, she is a joy to be around and a phenomenal person! When choosing a wedding photographer, it’s so important to have someone who is willing and able to direct the show to get the shots you want while also sticking to the timeline. Sarah was able to accomplish that with ease and is very obviously well experienced. She offered multiple styles of photography and was open to any and every request we had. She made everyone feel so comfortable throughout the night and was so willing to coach everyone on poses for the most flattering photos! I would choose Sarah as my wedding photographer 1000x over again!

Great wedding photographer

Sarah is an amazing photographer. She did both our engagement and wedding photos, and they turned out fabulous. She is an excellent communicator, very friendly, and patient. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

Amazing Photographer!!

I am obsessed with Sarah Babcock Studio!! I knew she had to be my wedding photographer after seeing her work from a family member’s wedding back in 2018. I had high expectations and she exceeded them. Sarah has a brilliant eye for detail and our gallery is full of amazing candids of us and all of our favorite people. She and her assistant (other Sarah) helped me and my husband relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera even in the most stressful moments. I will never forget that she let me wipe my sweaty face on her shirt before our first look! I could not recommend this studio any more. I will treasure these photos forever and ever!

Great day!!

Sarah was wonderful!! She arrived on time and ready to go! She helped us create our timeline to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted and really helped make the day go so smoothly! She was wonderful with coming up with poses and telling us how to move/position. Sarah was so much fun to work with!!

AMAZING Experience with Sarah Babcock Studios!

Sarah is just.... wow. Not only an INCREDIBLY talented photographer (coming from another *amateur* photographer - jealous!), but just an awesome human being as well. Being photographed in tuxes and suits and dresses can be a super stressful experience, but not with Sarah. She has not only an amazing eye for her photos, but just a genuine personality that you really don't find these days, and it put us so at ease - it was like taking photos with a friend.

Not going to lie, I was kind of dreading meeting Sarah to do our engagement photos - we had only met once or twice over Zoom, and I was like "Oh, this is going to be a slog". Wow, was I wrong! We had so much fun with Sarah during our engagement photos that I was genuinely looking forward to having her with us on our wedding day, and Sarah did a MAGNIFICENT job.

We couldn't imagine our wedding day without Sarah capturing all of the special moments. Do yourself a favor - if you made it this far, don't look any further. Sarah is where it's at - I guarantee you.

Sarah, if you're reading this, thank you so much for being such a huge part of our special day, and we love you!

Fun, patient, knowledgeable, and all around great person!

Sarah is one of the best, most experienced photographers I have worked with!! She is thoughtful of your vision and elevates it to the next level. She is patient, makes you feel comfortable in any environment, and easily adapts to new situations. She even provides a sheet to fill out beforehand so she can focus on what is important to you, knowing that the photos are what we’ll truly have left after the event. Even after you receive photos, she is easily reachable by email/text to help edit photos to ultimately make sure you have the collection you want. Trust me, you will be lucky if you can find her on a day off, highly highly recommend! :)

Extremely Talented Photographer

We used Sarah for our engagement and wedding photos and I have to say I was extremely impressed with her skill, professionalism, attention to detail, and the amount of fun she brought to each session. I do not think I could have found a better photographer to capture our day, and I feel extremely lucky to have booked her. Sarah has an eye for catching a good shot, and she will not miss it! She spent the entire wedding day with us, and carefully listened to my requests. I was anxiously awaiting the family pictures as I have a blended family and my husband's family is huge, so I figured it was going to be an unorganized disaster- but Sarah made these pictures seem so easy and organized, it didn't take long and there was no stress. She has given us a few preview shots from the wedding day and I fell in love with each and every one of them! Again, Sarah Babcock is an extremely talented individual, if you book her you are in the best hands!

Simply the best

I don’t even know where to start with Sarah! I met her through my wedding planner and it’s safe to say… it was love at first zoom call. Sarah is such a unique and creative photographer and has characteristics you don’t see in other photographers!! She is always thinking of “the next cool shot” and always captures all the details. She did an amazing job on my engagement session and then blew us away the day of our wedding! She was flexible with her schedule and followed the timeline to the exact minute. I haven’t seen any of my photos yet but I already know I’m going to be so in love with them. My goal for my wedding photographer is to find someone who won’t just do my wedding but who would do my maternity, newborn and family photos in the near future…. Sarah is the one 🤍 her and Brin were absolutely amazing and deserve all the 5 star ratings!! Cheers!

The PERFECT Wedding Photographer!

My husband and I just recently used Sarah for our wedding and it was the best choice we could have made for a photographer! Prep work for the day of was so smooth and easy, and day of she captured everything I wanted and more :-) Sarah is the perfect combination of professional while being so personable and fun. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for any type of event- we loved her!!

Story Telling Photos!

Sarah is the BEST! She was able to capture our day and really tell the story of our wedding to those who couldn't make it! She has beautiful talent and skills with posing, photography, and editing. She is SO much fun to work with! We worked with her for our Engagement pictures and our Wedding pictures and she did a phenomenal job!

I highly recommend working with Sarah for any event, but especially Weddings! The pictures are amazing! We plan on working with Sarah again soon!

We would recommend you stop looking anywhere else. I believe in getting vendors, but if I had to do it all over again, I would. She was amazing!

Seriously worth every penny. We wanted to have a budget wedding, but wanted the photos to be spectacular because that would be the lasting memory, and Sarah delivered. She is better than you can imagine!! Her method of learning your style in the engagement photos, then using that knowledge to make great wedding pics works like a charm. She accommodating, personable, caring, and effective. And her editing skills are phenomenal! Her additions are subtle, but make all of the difference. I'll be recommending her to everyone I know for as long as I'm around.

Sarah Babcock Studio was the best decision I ever made...besides marrying my husband! A photographer are the most important vendor you'll book - the cake will spoil, the music will end, but the photographs are forever. Sarah was very professional through the entire process, answering calls and emails in a timely manner. She drove down to Cincinnati from the Dayton area to meet us at a Panera, where we talked about her style, options and experiences before booking. We knew instantly we wanted her to capture our day and signed her the very next morning! Sarah was fantastic for our engagement session, letting us be creative, and showing her bubbly personality and great sense of humor. For the wedding day, Sarah and her assistant were on their game, but also having a great time with us! This is a vendor you'll be spending the WHOLE day with - and both Sarah and her assistant were a joy to do it with. Her work is also FAB. Since we've gotten our photos back - friends and family have been asking who our photographer was and commenting on how wonderful the pictures are. I'll definitely be recommending her and using her in the future!

I was very impressed with the work done by Sarah Babcock. She did a great job making it a comfortable setting during the photos, and we were ecstatic with the final products. She even went the extra mile to put together a fun photo shop edited picture just for me! I highly recommend Sarah Babcock studios. Sarah is a absolute rockstar. She captured our whole day and didn't miss a beat! She captured all of the special moments and I love how she captured our guests expressions as well. She really brought everything full circle. She made my whole wedding party feel extremely comfortable and they all loved her and her outgoing personality. Sarah is amazing! She did such a phenomenal job on our engagement and wedding pictures. She is so talented, and top of that she is so fun and makes picture taking much less stressful. She also provides so much guidance with wedding planning tips and her online questionnaire and timeline worksheets. I was able to develop a timeline for the day-of using her online tools and I used this timeline for all my vendors. This was a big help for me as a bride planning it all myself! It helped make everything go so smoothly! My husband's immediate family is big and there are lots of little ones, but the day-of photos went so smoothly. A photographer who can organize and capture such beautiful photos of our crazy families is worth their weight in gold!! So many of the photos that she has taken are so artistic and I cannot wait to proudly display them all over our new home together! She notices the small details and helped us feel comfortable so that our pictures do not look stiff in our poses. She captured our love in such a beautiful way, and I am so pleased with the pictures she took that will forever remind us of how perfect our wedding day was! I highly recommend Sarah Babcock for any photography needs. She is the best!

We searched all over Portland and couldn't find anyone that measured up to Sara Babcock's work, so we had her fly out from Ohio to take our wedding photos. She was amazing, as usual, and made our day run smooth and enjoyable. Her consults beforehand were really helpful in planning our day and our photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. We would recommend Sara to anyone looking for a fun, professional, and all around great photographer!

Sarah was amazing. From her excitement about our event to her creativity to the way the pictures looked when all was said and done.
We interviewed several photographers but couldn't make up our minds. A co-worker and event manager recommended Sarah Babcock and I decided to check her out.
We clicked immediately. She has this big amazing personality and tuned in with exactly who we are. When we went for our engagement session she made it fun and just as silly as we are and also more beautiful than I thought pictures could be. She captures more than just our image, she captures the feelings.
Our wedding pictures turned out so gorgeous I am stunned. I still haven't been able to choose my favorites yet because they are all so awesome it's hard to choose.
We can't thank Sarah enough for all the work, the walking around, the eye she has to capture everything perfectly.

The ABSOLUTE BEST!! Sarah Babcock is wonderful! She did our engagement photos and our wedding ceremony/reception. We could not be more blessed by her and her amazing talent! She was so attentive, fun, charismatic, and did I say FUN!? She is the one you want on your BIG day. She captures truly precious moments and we can NOT WAIT to see the photos from our wedding! Sarah did a fabulous job with my daughters wedding!! The 'sneak peak" pics are amazing and we cant wait to see all of the finished ones!! She is so kind and patient and CREATIVE!! No boring photos here!! Top quality for sure!!

We have booked Sarah for our wedding and although we have not had our wedding yet we have received our engagement photos and they are amazing! We were completely blown away by the photos and were so excited to show them off to everyone and there is not a doubt in me or my fiance's mind that the wedding photos will be equally as beautiful! On top of that her packages are amazing! All of them offer a free engagement session once you book and you get the rights to all of your photos! She offers great packages! I would recommend Sarah to anyone she is so much fun to work with and has an amazing personality and eye for photography!

Sarah was great to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. She was super nice, very professional and extremely hardworking at both our engagement session and wedding day. She has an amazing eye for such great and interesting shots! And the pics were gorgeous!!

Sarah is the shit. Can I say that word on here? Seriously though, she is so amazing. She has a fantastic eye, our photos are amazing. And, she is a pleasure to work with. She's funny and quirky, super professional, efficient; the list goes on. The deciding factor for me was looking at the work samples on her website. I looked into several photographers and didn't see anyone with a style that really caught my eye, until I found her. Her fun personality was the icing on the cake (to use a wedding metaphor.) I'm a huge fan. Also, my husband and I wanted to spend as little time as possible taking pictures b/c we wanted to spend time with all of our guests. Sarah got that and was efficient, but she also persuaded us to spend some time taking posed photos of just the two of us, which was a great call. (Those photos are so rad.) Anyway, go with Sarah; she's totally amazing.

I could not have asked for a better photographer for the most important day of my life! I wasn't very particular about things, so Sarah offered a lot of great ideas and creative insights. Sarah helped organize the morning of my wedding and when it came to family photos, she got everyone where they needed to be quickly and smoothly. Sarah is a real joy to work with and truly is passionate about her work. Instead of an engagement shoot, we did a family photo shoot to include my husband's daughter who is 11. Sarah made the experience fun and really included our daughter, not only in the photos, but how she interacted with her. She let her play with props, do silly poses and made her laugh and smile. We had a blast! She made the experience enjoyable. As for the photos: AMAZING. Sarah photographed my sister's wedding five years ago and when it was my turn, there was NO question who would photograph my wedding. Thank you to Sarah!

My husband and I wanted authentic photographs that captured the spirit and emotion of the day. We wanted to be able to look at photographs and remember the joy, laughter and fun of the evening. This is EXACTLY what we got! Sarah has the uncanny ability to see a moment and capture it - a moment frozen in time not just people and a setting.

We were not your typical bride and groom and had a fairly un-traditional wedding. Sarah was able to capture and highlight all of the important events of the evening without being intrusive or disrupting the party. She respected and valued what we wanted for both our wedding and photographs and this is obvious in the final product.

I show people my pictures and every single person says, "These are the BEST wedding pictures I have ever seen." Even from parents of other brides and grooms who have recently been married. I could not be happier with our choice to use Sarah and would recommend her to anyone!

Bottom line: If you want to look back at your pictures and not have a regret about the photographer or your photos you need to choose Sarah Babcock.

Sarah covered both my wedding and an engagement shoot and to get right to the point, she was outstanding. She approaches wedding photography as if she’s telling a story, so expect to get many natural, candid shots. She will also do any posed shots you would like as well. In fact when she did mine, I found her to be VERY attentive to detail. This really showed in the end result.
Additionally, Sarah was very professional at all times. Her wonderful personality really made us and our guests comfortable. She wasn’t intrusive or noticeable at all. But most importantly, she has a true gift of intuition allowing her to capture the most genuine moments and evoke emotion - something that sets her apart from other wedding photographers!

Sarah is amazing.
We had to schedule two different engagement session times due to weather and my husband living out of town at the time. She was very accommodating and flexible with our needs. Our pictures were unique and captured our personalities and relationship.
Sarah has a kind and humorous personality, which is great for a photographer. We never felt awkward with her when taking pictures. She instructed where needed and yet let us do our own thing.
The day of the wedding Sarah and her second shooter spent HOURS taking photos. Every photo I requested was taken and then some. They were both a pleasure to be around the whole day. Many times they lightened the mood for me when I was starting to get nervous. Also our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed their instruction, presence, smiles, and jokes.
The photographs themselves are beyond gorgeous. Sarah is a true artist. My father - a previous photography major - is extremely critical of photography. The first time he saw Sarah's work I was very nervous because I knew I wanted to use her and I was praying he would love her as much as I did. He looked at her pictures and asked her one question about her photography philosophy. Her answer was in short that she liked to tell a story with her photography - this was important to her. There is a history and story to tell in every photo and it was her job to portray it. As we walked away I asked him how he liked her. His answer was, "She's amazing and her answer was perfect. You have your photographer."
I can't tell you the amount of compliments I have gotten on my engagement and wedding photos - even though I have only seen 5 because I got married 3 weeks ago. I have handed out more of her cards and given more people her contact information than I can remember.
I highly recommend Sarah Babcock as a wedding photographer. There is no one else I would want to tell the story of my wedding because I know it is going to be beautifully documented.

oh, how I love Sarah. I have not seen our wedding photos yet, however based on our engagement photos and the one teaser we have seen so far, I cannot wait to see how she captured our wedding. I am a wedding photographer in Chicago and have been for 13 years. I knew I needed to find someone I could completely trust to do their thing so I could forget about photos for a day and just be a bride.

I also wanted to find someone like myself who shoots very natural light and captures things organically as they happen and mostly captures emotion as well as beautiful moments. Well Sarah does this and then some. I cannot explain as a photographer how Sarah does what she does, but it is gorgeous and she brings something to the table that is unique and truly captures the love that was filled during our wedding all night.

She and Kitty were invisible, I barely noticed them throughout the night, but I knew they were getting every moment. They were professional, yet fun, easy, quick and inconspicuous. I will probably need to add to this when I see the photos, but I can tell you already I am going to be in love with them.

Sarah was the photographer for our wedding and we are so glad that we picked her. Not only is she a great photographer, but she has a fun and energetic personality. By the time of our wedding, it really felt like we had a friend of ours taking the pictures rather than just some professional we've met a couple of times before. She made us very comfortable with the camera and I think the quality of the photos benefited from it.

Sarah's photography skills are top-notch and I think her work speaks for itself. We were really happy that she included a 2nd photographer. It helped capture every moment and they didn't miss a single thing.

We received a video compilation of the photos, which we loved sharing with our friends and family. Not long after, we were sent a disc with all of the unwatermarked images to use however we like. Her communication leading up to the event was great and it was never hard to get a hold of her. She was very professional and I would recommend Sarah to anyone who needs a photographer.

Sarah is an absolutely amazing photographer! She is so talented, creative, and kind! We were coming in from out of town for our wedding and she captured the moment beautifully! Love Love Loved the pictures Sarah took of our daughter's wedding. She spent the afternoon and evening to cover pre ceremony, ceremony and reception, and we never really knew she was there! GREAT candid shots of not only the wedding party but of all the guests as well. She has a creative eye that really took advantage of the reception site to pose the wedding party and family shots. Highly recommend her services to anyone in the Dayton area!

Sarah Babcock was a refreshing find in a sea of wedding vendors. Sarah provided both engagement and wedding photography for us and we couldn't have been more pleased with either.
Both of these sessions involved unique ideas, important details, and questionable weather. Sarah (and her staff) met these challenges with enthusiasm and flexibility capturing each moment in the best possible light...no pun intended. She creatively used rain, dim lighting, etc. to capture and tell the story of our event(s).
It is also worth noting that after deciding upon Babcock Studio as our photographer we elected not to use a videographer. Sarah's attention to detail and the quality of her photo-journalistic shooting style made this an unnecessary expense...in our mind's eye. It is amazing how well both emotions and details were captured in still shots creatively using light, lenses, etc. We can honestly say the samples we viewed during our initial meetings, while unique to their venues, were accurate examples of what we now have as our personal memories. Sarah makes a point of only booking one event per day assuring her personal presence (and standards) at your event.
Sarah comes to the table with a contagious level of energy that is helpful given the relative stress of a wedding day. This kept us, the wedding party and relatives engaged. She was accommodating to our time line and last minute amendments to our plan, assuring us that capturing our event well was her priority.
We really enjoyed our experience and hope you will too!

Sarah Babcock is an amazing photographer! We consider her our family photographer as she has now photographed both of our daughters weddings (Oct. 2010 and May 2015). Our weddings are not traditional and each daughter has her own style. Sarah's pictures are unique and creative for each of them. We LOVE the photographs from both weddings! The reason for my 4.5 rating for value is that I think photography is expensive in general. But I can't imagine using any other photographer for such an important event! Sarah takes the time to get to know each bride and groom and she personalizes her photos to her clients. I highly recommend Sarah Babcock for photography.

Wedding pictures should tell the story of the people being photographed. They should reflect the love between both people, the chemistry and the playfulness. Sarah Babcock Photography is able to do this in the most amazing way. She gets to know each couple individually to be able to capture their personalities and create a unique experience that you can look back on years away and know exactly how you were feeling.

Sarah and her assistant (who I jokingly referred to as S2) were fantastic. I could have been considered a very laid back bride who just wanted to go with the flow. Sarah made sure that no detail was missed and every aspect of our wedding and reception was photographed. Looking back through the pictures (and there were lots) it was like reliving the day. She worked diligently to get to know my husband and I and it shows in our pictures. Two thumbs up!

Sarah was absolutely amazing. I would consider myself a picky bride and Sarah was the perfect choice for us. She is an amazing photographer but also has a design background so we ended up with gorgeous pictures that told our story in a way that was exactly what we wanted--both modern and timeless. Sarah was absolutely AMAZING! She is so fun to work with and really open to brainstorming ideas of where to shoot and what poses. We went everywhere from the Contemporary Arts Center to Great American Ballpark for our engagement session - she even came up with one of my favorite pictures just shooting my husband and I leaning against our car on 3rd Street!

On our wedding day, Sarah's team was so fantastic, they were keeping everyone energized and the bridal party and my family loved working with them - she also didn't take forever and keep us long - and she was having fun right along with us!

The photos were fabulous - she excels both in the more editorial style as well as posed group shots - I love the candids that she took and the album she put together for us was amazing.

Also she is a great value, because she gives you the CDs of your engagement session and wedding to print at your leisure - she even creates a slideshow to music that she posted on facebook and then sent to me so I could put it in a digital frame for my parents and in-laws.

I would definitely recommend Sarah for any special occasion photography - My husband is already thinking about the next time we can use her!
