Sarah and Freeman = DYNAMIC DUO!!!
Perigee Photo Co is THE photography you need for your wedding. Sarah and Freeman are the best team. They pour everything into their work, and they truly invest in every couple they photograph. Perigee Photo Co was highly recommended to us through a mutual friend, and we decided to hire them for our wedding day. It was truly the best decision we could have made. Sarah is incredibly talented, fun, and professional with a personable and comforting personality. My husband and I do not know what to do in front of a camera, and Sarah photographed us so well in a very natural and comfortable way. Freeman is the perfect second photographer to capture everything we couldn’t see on our big day. Sarah and Freeman captured every single important moment from our day in a way that did not interfere with the natural flow of the day. Sarah even went with some of our crazy ideas and made it work flawlessly. For example, we wanted a photo with every guest at our wedding, but not the traditional “go around to each table” photos. Sarah worked through the plan with us, and she captured the most wonderful photos of us and every guest in such a meaningful way. This is one of the best things about their work. They are non-intrusive, while also making their photos gorgeous! Our final gallery is filled with candid moments, and we can feel the emotions in each photo, truly holding these memories in a picture. We cannot recommend Perigee Photo Co enough to everyone with ANY event that they want photographed! -

Goodbye, forced cheesy wedding pictures! We are BEYOND grateful we found Sarah & Freeman, the duo behind Perigee Photo Co, for our 2024 wedding and rehearsal. Our goal was to document the beautiful, candid moments between our guests and they delivered that beyond our wildest dreams. They get past the wedding-industrial-complex superficiality and hold onto what’s important. We are thrilled with the way our weekend was captured and all of the incredible moments they brought to life through their lenses. Perigee is professional, experienced, real, down-to-earth, and FUN to work with. They are communicative and strive to deliver to your expectations. They have a unique dynamic as a married team, working together as the well-oiled machine they are. I remember reading reviews after our consultation with Sarah and Freeman and one said “if you are on the fence about booking, just do it”, so that is exactly what I will tell you. Sarah and Freeman are more than just photographers. They provide a high quality, immersive photography experience from start to finish. Sarah is one of those people that makes everyone feel like she could be your best friend. She is skilled in connecting and it radiates from her, which is quality that I didn’t know I needed in a wedding photographer. And of course, her work is outstanding. We were attracted to the authentic feel of her photography and that is exactly what was delivered in our album. Sarah makes you feel so comfortable and it translates into every photo. These photos will truly allow us to relive our wedding day for a lifetime, and we cannot thank Sarah and Freeman enough for that. -

Give yourself and your loved ones the ultimate gift by hiring Sarah and Freeman to document your wedding! From the first time we met Sarah, she exuded warmth, humor and excitement - she immediately put me at ease and makes you want to hang out and be friends :) As someone who felt unnatural and quite anxious about being in front of the camera, Sarah knew just what to do and say to quell my worries and actually got me excited to have pictures taken. She was incredibly open and receptive to my photography vision and the vibe we were looking for. I could be honest about what things we like, what things we don't (e.g. how do we make a first look...less..."first-look-y"?!) We had a blast taking our engagement photos which was the perfect warm-up to know what it was like to work with her and see how it felt to be photographed. Leading up to the wedding, Sarah is communicative, thoughtful and connects with all the necessary vendors to make sure the weekend is smooth and settled. Come the wedding weekend, it was a JOY to have Sarah around - her positive energy, good humor, genuine support for you and know-how is exactly what we needed amidst the excitement jitters. She told people where they needed to be, kept track of timing, gave direction - perfection! Once everything kicked off, she and Freeman were silently buzzing around, documenting not only big moments, but the most perfect nooks and crannies, hidden gem moments you never would have thought about.
Due to covid, we had to postpone our wedding and Sarah couldn't have been more gracious and generous with the changes made. We adore her and Freeman and we *know* you will, too. If they're available, BOOK 'EM!!! We are so grateful to have found and met Sarah - a true talent in this industry with passion and heart! Already scheming up more parties and experiences to get to work with them in the future ;) -

Absolutely amazing!
I cannot say enough about Sarah & Freeman! They are the best photographers & the best people! Sarah took my High School Senior pictures, my college graduation pictures and now my wedding pictures. Never did she disappoint! She always captures the perfect moments. Sarah & Freeman make you feel comfortable and know exactly how to get the best pictures! I can’t recommend them enough!! I absolutely love my wedding photos. They help me relive the whole day & I am so thankful for that. The day goes by so fast & you truly don’t know how much went on, so it is amazing being able to relive our amazing day through pictures!! As a team, they were able to capture every important moment & have such great attention for detail. -

I could cry writing this review because without Sarah and Freeman, our wedding would not have been what it was. That might sound like I'm being dramatic but really--besides our venue and our date, they were the first vendors we booked...a whole three years in advanced and their influence snowballed all of our other choices and vendors. We never intended to book a photographer that far out and we had agreed to a long engagement but I had been following Sarah on instagram and thought "Maybe I should just SEE about pricing and just ya know, ask. We don't HAVE to book after one call." My husband and I got off that phone call and knew immediately we needed to book them--paired with an insanely personalized quote that played off of our mutual interests and we were completely sold. We were initially drawn into their work because they were so good at capturing moments of people just enjoying themselves and authentic moments of happiness. We never wanted pictures that felt too posed or staged we always wanted to feel like what was being captured were the actual feelings of the moment and that is 100% Sarah and Freeman's specialty. At the wedding itself, I had so many friends and family tell me how amazing and fun our vendors were (many of our other vendors also hired at the suggestion of Sarah & Freeman) and I would not be surprised if we see them again at other future weddings. To be honest, I hope so, because I think everyone should have a photographer with as much talent, heart, and soul as Perigee Photo does. With as thoughtful and attentive customer service. With as much care and compassion. With as much energy and high spirits. Book them, a thousand times over. You will absolutely not regret it and it is by far the best choice we made. -

sarah and freeman made all of our wedding day photography dreams come true. having the same photographer for engagement pictures helps you to feel comfortable with each other prior to your big day, something that was so valuable for me--especially because I think I am so awkward in front of the camera! Honestly, sarah and freeman make you forgot they are even photographing you. Our engagement and wedding photos are breathtaking and something we will value forever. We had to trim down our wedding significantly in 48 hrs due to Covid and redo our day of schedule and Sarah was completely flexible in whatever changes we needed to make last minute. Seriously, I could not recommend sarah b photography enough to capture one of your most important days. -

I originally found Sarah on Instagram and immediately followed her.... and soon realized I needed her to be our photographer! It didn't take much convincing of my husband to also get on board after looking at ONLY her instagram work & stories LOL! She is extremely personable, professional, and GIFTED as a photographer... we have zero regrets of going with our gut and booking her & Freeman!
My husband and I are not "photogenic" or "comfortable" in front of the camera, but Sarah eased all of my anxieties and made our engagement session FUN! Yes, even my husband left the session saying he had FUN and all because of Sarah doing her thang! She is so good at what she does that she makes you feel good at being photographed too somehow, ha! We never had a spot chosen for engagement photos & she recommended a state park which fit our personalities perfectly... we love the outdoors and were able to catch beautiful photos with a variety of settings.
The day of the wedding the girls had all gotten behind schedule but Sarah & Freeman were able to keep their schedule and capture all the photos in a timely manner!! I loved having a 2 person team of photographers to capture both the groomsmen & bridesmaids, guests & us, and so many other things that could not have been possible at the same time with 1 photographer!
Sarah's style of photography is timeless and I can picture my husband & I still in awe over our photos years and years from now! I received my sneak peaks in only a week and I'm so in love! Thank you again Sarah & Freeman... you captured so many beautiful photos for us to remember our special day forever! XO -

OK, this is my second time writing this review because of a glitch with my original posting! Phew!
Sarah and Freeman are THE BEST! I was so excited to meet Sarah at my wedding- since we haven't yet had our engagement session due to wedding reschedules and Covid. I immediately felt like I had another friend with me. The thing you don't see about Sarah's work (but you will later feel when looking at your own photos) is how special she makes you feel throughout the day. She has a talent for making you feel the love, joy, and connection that weddings are really about. Instead of "how do I look in this photo?" I found myself thinking "I never want this to end!"
Since I have received my gallery I've looked at it everyday- and it never fails to put a perma-smile on my face. When I look at my photos I see US- I see our smiles, our faces we make at each other, our love- the way we look at one another- our laughter (lots of laughter courtesy of Sarah!) our kisses and genuine hugs. It feels authentically us. The colors, the mood of the photos all reflect the day how I experienced it- and it transports me back to my favorite day. I love that the range of emotions was captured- I love getting to feel everything all over again. Sarah's talent truly allows you to capture bits of your day to have forever. Honestly, I'm not sure how I will choose which photos to print because I love SO many of them!!
I truly can't imagine anyone else photographing the most special day of our lives. So many members of our bridal party commented on how chill and great Sarah and Freeman were. She went above and beyond to help us celebrate each other, celebrated with us, and made us feel celebrated by all around us. I just can't imagine that most photographers out there have that capability. I can't wait to work with Sarah and Freeman again!! Book them!! You will not regret it! -

I may be Sarah's biggest fan ever. She made my wedding absolutely perfect. Sarah came to Palm Springs in August to shoot our engagement photos, and they came out so beautifully. We ended up hanging out with her and Freeman afterwards, since they were just so easy and great to be around! When my wedding came around in February, Sarah shot our welcome party on Friday, as well as the full day (and night) on Saturday. These photos came out INCREDIBLY. She is fantastic! So professional, but also makes everything so fun. Love her, love Freeman, love my photos. 100000000% recommend this duo!! -

My husband and I cannot say enough about Sarah and Freeman! If the quality of their work doesn't speak for itself and grab you right away (which it should!) they go above and beyond from what I would expect out of a vendor. They were available whenever we had any questions, they were super flexible with scheduling for our engagement shoot, and were even cool enough to meet up with us when they were in our home state of Tennessee. They are such a great laidback couple that is able to go with the flow and make you feel extremely comfortable while being photographed all while being 100% professional and amazing at what they do! Honestly just can't say enough about them ! -

So the first thing I will say is if you found Sarah and her page and you have looked through her photos and something punched you in the gut, grabbed you by the heart and made you feel all these overwhelming amazing feelings at once that you practically had to cry or question what you are doing with your life and if it give you all these feelings that it gives Sarah having this gift and this career...then I would say don't second guess what your heart and your gut is telling you. Do it, Sarah will blow you away and you will feel calm and excited and brave moving forward. Trust her when she recommends other vendors, I used a lot of people she told me about and had the best team of friendors! Regarding our engagement photos, we both are super casual laid back people who looked at couples photos and said, damn they really love each other, but we aren't cute and cuddly like these people look. We were not confident in how our photos would turn out, if we would look strange or feel like something was wrong with us. Sarah even picked my outfit out, bc I brought my whole closet with me, and she picked things I would have never put together but I told her I would trust in her and holy cow I am glad I did. When we received sneak peaks...about 10 photos or so...I was FLOORED. I was literally like, it doesn't even matter what the other pictures look like, I am SO HAPPY with those 10. The weight on my shoulders lifted and I believed that no matter what our wedding looked like, it could be the most awful thing ever, Sarah and her gift would take everything that is right with the day and capture it and that is what you end up with, your pictures, your best memories of the day, the details, the love. Her work, her passion literally makes me tear up. My heart has never felt so big and happy for someone I just met, she will be your photographer, your friend and your therapist! I love this girl! She makes me want to chase my dreams.

From the moment I found Sarah's work, I was so inspired by the artistry of her photos. You could feel the energy and emotions in every photo as if you were living those moments. I love the use of natural light and the moods in her photos. Sarah's work is far from ordinary, she is truly a talented artist with an eye for telling a story with the moments she captures. When my now husband and I met with Sarah for our consultation, we instantly clicked and it felt like we were old friends. Sarah is so down to earth and easy to talk to. She has a fun spirit and she lets you be yourself. Sarah goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and she works hard to make beautiful images. For our engagement photos, we were nervous and didn't know quite what to do in front of the camera, but she gave us direction and had us play little ice breaker games which made us comfortable and we had a lot of fun. Sarah has become such a great friend during the process, even going to the bridal shop with me to help me choose my wedding dress! We absolutely loved our engagement photos and wedding photos. I even did a boudoir shoot with her a few months before the wedding which was a great experience and confidence boost. I had full trust in Sarah on our wedding day and she captured so many photos of moments that were so fun to relive and that will be beautiful memories over the years. Sarah is so creative and amazing at what she does. We have received so many compliments from friends and family on our wedding photos. On our wedding day, I could not have asked for a better photographer and her husband was an awesome second shooter. They make a great team. You will not be disappointed if you choose Sarah B Photography, she is a gem and I can't wait to capture more of life's moments with her!
