I am so pleased with Sara & Dan! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional, detailed, and authentic photographer. I wanted nothing but the best and that is EXACTLY what I got from Sara. She and her team superseded all our expectations. She is the trifecta! Super friendly, talented, and professional. Her work is not just amazing, It will blow your mind. We loved EVERY photo she took. If you demand the best I can promise you will receive it with Sara Zarrella. I would give 11 stars if they let me! -

I worked with Sara Zarella Photography and Rock your booth in planning and during my wedding that happened on Sept 12,2020. My original wedding venue cancelled my wedding on my husband and I two weeks before my wedding and Sara came to the rescue as we moved our wedding from NY to Newport! The efforts that were demonstrated passed my exceptations! I was so happy to work with Dan as he did an amazing job with my photos and showing a lot of interests on where to take photos. Rock the booth was an amazing addition to the wedding fun as all my guests used the photobooth all night! I cant thank the staff enough! Really would recommend! -

I can’t thank Sara enough for the amazing photos she captured on my wedding day. COVID changed everything we had planned for our wedding including size, state, and the date, but in the end it was perfect and it resulted in us getting to work with Sara for our big day. We were only able to meet Sara on the day of the wedding, which small as it was, still felt chaotic in the final moments leading up to the ceremony. Sara was such a calming presence and her approach to photography made me feel so comfortable and so beautiful. She captured our happiness so well, the photos are more than I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend Sara Zarrella photography for your wedding photos. If I could go back in time, I would have worked with Sara for my engagement photos as well. I look forward to hopefully working with her for family shoots in the future! -

I would recommend Sara to anyone! She was so personable and felt like a friend from the moment she arrived. Sara captured all of the detailed moments from start to finish. Her partner, Lisa was also very friendly and had an amazing eye for detail. Sara honestly felt like one of us and was so easy to communicate with. She is very organized puts a lot of effort in planning the day out. She listened to all my concerns and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend her for Wedding and other events. Everyone was blown away by our photos which she was able to deliver much sooner than expected. -

There's No One Better
Sara & her team photographed our engagement, first covid mini-wedding, andsecond bigger wedding/reception. To set the stage, I have zero imagination and had no "vision" for what I wanted... and I am also really uncomfortable having my picture taken. Long story short - I was pretty awful and had no idea what to do when it came to this stuff, but I knew my photographer was going to be one of the most important parts of our wedding experience.
Choosing Sara was the best decision we could've possibly made. Starting with our engagement photos - she was beyond cool when I asked her to step into an alpaca farm, and she knocked it out of the park! Alpacas are unpredictable, and my husband & I are certainly no models even in an ordinary setting, but Sara knew exactly how to position it so that we all came out looking amazing. We also got to take some pictures around her beautiful home at Gerald's Farm. She gave us the right prompts to make sure we looked our best, but didn't pose us, so it looked like we knew what we were doing naturally (which we did NOT, she's just that good).
For our first mini-wedding, we worked with Dan. We met him that day, so I was a little nervous - but I had no reason to be! Dan is as talented as he is hilarious, which put me at ease, while also making it super easy to smile naturally in pictures instead of that forcing-a-smile-for-pictures look. He was able to corral both sides of our families to make our formal portraits quick and easy, even managing to get a smile from all 3 of my nephews.. at the same time... and they're all under six-years-old.
Dan was also the lead shooter for our 2nd bigger wedding reception, and he somehow managed to top his amazing work from our first ceremony. It felt like he was an old friend, which I think is what makes all his pictures come out so perfectly. He moves quickly to keep it interesting - you never feel tired of holding a pose for too long, and it gives such a great array of options to choose from!
Back to Sara - I am confident that she set a world record for fastest wedding picture turnaround ever. I won't say how quickly the first wedding pics came back because I don't want other people to have certain expectations, but let me say my mind was BLOWN. All 940 of the pics came back from our 2nd wedding in record time for a different reason - she was editing our photos while she was GIVING BIRTH. That's right, Sara's son was born less than a week after our wedding, and she still managed to produce amazing edits that captured what we wanted perfectly.
One other quick nod to Rock Your Booth - it is absolutely worth it. Everyone loves a photo booth, the lighting makes everyone look glowy & flawless, and you get the pictures as files right after! (I used them to create postcards for personalized thank you notes.) Becky, our booth attendant, was the ultimate hype girl. She was so fun and sweet!
To sum it all up: look no further. Sara Zarrella Photography is worth every penny. You are going to look at these photos for the rest of your life, so go with the best! -

We had the best experience with Sara!!! We used her for our engagement photos and our wedding. We had a minimony due to covid, and Sara was amazing at working with us when we had to adjust our plans due to many covid restrictions. Her photos were so so beautiful, and I’m so happy that we will have them forever. We were so impressed with how professional and amazing she was. She knew the perfect lighting, poses, and photos to get. She made sure that we got photos with every single combination of people that we wanted to. It was honestly the best money we spent at our small wedding and I would choose her again a million times over if I could! She is worth every penny!!! We definitely plan to use her again in the future when we do family photos and for other occasions! We couldn’t be happier with our beautiful sets of photos. -

Jennifer Sent on 07/10/2018Sara and team exceeded our expectations of service as our photographer! She made the process easy and she made sure every detail and photo was covered. Sara photographed our wedding celebration in Newport, RI on a stormy evening and was able to capture so many amazing pictures even though the weather was no so amazing. One of our favorite pictures includes a beautiful rainbow that appeared after the stormy weather. Thank you Sara and team for a wonderful experience!

From the time of our engagement until after the wedding, she is on top of it and a true professional. Plus she really listens and wants to know what you want from your pictures. She explains everything in detail and is super thorough. My pictures came out so beautiful and I love her creative, out of the box thinking when it comes to capturing such special moments.
