Sara is amazing! At first I didn't think I would need or want a planner, but I was so wrong! Sara was extremely helpful in sharing her years of experience to make my special day that much more special. She is super organized and on top of everything, which was very appreciated when dealing with our venue and all of our vendors. She is there to make sure your needs and vision come first and not any of the vendors or venue. We also had to make a last minute switch for the ceremony to move inside because of rain, and she seamlessly recreated our outdoor ceremony experience inside. She also was super helpful when our live painting vendor had to cancel last minute to find a replacement. Sara's years of experience and vast network of vendors and contacts are invaluable. What I perhaps appreciate the most is that she stays in contact with you after your wedding to make sure you have what you need from your vendors (photos, video, left over decor from venue) to really be with you from start to finish. 100000/10 recommend!!! -

Expert Planner for a St. Michael's Wedding
Working with Sara was one of my husband and I's best wedding decisions! As a 'Type A' bride I came to our first meeting with a vision and MANY questions. Sara helped to wrangle all of our ideas into a beautiful design book that served as our template for the entire planning process and a reference for all decision making. She took our ideas and found ways to further elevate them and most importantly, managed every single detail so we didn't have to worry about it. She always came with suggestions and so much prior experience to build on, I felt confident in every vendor she recommended and knew we'd be in good hands. Looking back on our wedding day, Sara and her team were ON and did not skip a beat. We had last minute weather decisions to make and she pulled everything together seamlessly for us. I couldn't imagine our special day without Sara's expert planning to pull it all off. -

Not only is Sara SO knowledgeable, she is fun to work with, always open to ideas, super organized, and truly brings your vision to life. I already miss my meetings with Sara!! I am beyond lucky to know Sara and to have had the opportunity to work with her on my wedding.
Having a wedding at an outdoor venue like CBMM comes with its own set of challenges, and she made planning a breeze. I knew everything would go smoothly because she was involved. It was a huge weight off of our shoulders. -

Sara Reynolds Wedding Planner Extraordinaire
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Sara Reynolds during our October 28th, 2023 wedding. She was everything that we wanted and expected and more so. About a month out from the wedding we needed to push our wedding start time back by 1.5 hours due to a local event being rescheduled at the last minute to the day of our wedding that interfered with our wedding beginning at the previously determined start time. Sara leaped into action to touch base with all our vendors to re-confirm them for the new start time. Furthermore, due to the later start time we had to quickly design and hire a light vendor as the wedding ceremony was outside and would start after sundown.
She made the whole wedding planning process feel as simple and easy as it possibly could with all the last-minute changes. During the wedding day I felt little to no stress and had complete confidence in Sara that everything we had discussed and planned would go off without a hitch. If you’re looking for a wedding planner/ coordinator, look no further as Sara will ensure that your day is perfect. -

Sara Reynolds is a LIFESAVER! We could not have had the perfect wedding we did, without her! From creating a design board that captured our vision, to making the day of flow seamlessly, even with rain that came 30 minutes before the ceremony, she does it all! Sara allowed us to ask tons of questions and talked through various scenarios of the day. We were able to curate a day that screamed "us" and flowed exactly how we wanted. The day of proved to be challenging, as there was a big line of rain headed for us right at ceremony time. She came in with a plan, and made it all happen. Although we had to move everything inside, we still got all of our outdoor pictures that we wanted. The indoor ceremony and cocktail hour turned out to be beautiful, intimate and romantic! We still talk about how working with Sara was the best thing we could have done for ourselves! If you are looking for a professional and fun wedding planner who can get it done, and break it down on the dance floor with you, hire Sara!! -

Sara is the best!!!
Sara was the first and absolute best decision we made for our wedding! From the start, I truly don’t know what we would’ve done without her. We started working with her right as we were narrowing in on our venue and thank goodness we did because her expertise helped to flag a few crucial missing elements in the venue contract. Her keen attention to details continued throughout the whole wedding process, once even saving us from a few thousand dollar mistake! She connected us with some of the best vendors as well, who all separately raved about her to me, one even calling her the Eastern Shore wedding whisperer. And now I know why!
We had some out of our control bumps arise leading up to and on the wedding day, and for all of them Sara proved she is queen of finding a swift solution for everything! She helped us keep calm and collected no matter what was thrown our way and as much as possible out of the loop on the wedding day as well so we could enjoy ourselves. This was especially appreciated post wedding after we found out how much work she and and rest of the vendor team put into taking care of a few bumps we were purposefully not made aware of, as well as the plan around uncertain weather for the day.
I went into the wedding week knowing Sara would crush it based on the countless emails, zoom calls and texts we had leading up to the big day, but I was truly blown away by how everything came together for the ceremony (which was even the rain plan space!) and the cocktail hour/reception. From the start, we noted we were hoping our wedding would be personable, beautiful and a blast, and she helped make it beyond what we could have ever hoped for!
Most importantly, Sara is just a wonderful human being and was truly a joy to work with, as shown in the last pic here :). If you want to feel like this walking into your reception you have found your girl!! -

Hiring a wedding planner is one of the many difficult decisions that are made during the planning process. But hiring Sara Reynolds Events will most likely be the best decision that you can make. Sara is wonderful to work with and easy to get along with. We had the honor of providing the tent and rentals for her client's backyard wedding. It takes a lot to essentially build a wedding from the ground up, but Sara proved that that task wasn't too big for her to handle from the start. She did an amazing job putting everything together and managing several vendors that worked the event that day. If you are looking for a reliable wedding planner, Sara will not disappoint. -

We have nothing but good things to say about our wedding experience with Sara this past September and highly recommend her to any couple looking to get married. She made the difficult easy. There wasn’t a detail she missed, or stone left unturned leading up to our big day. She brilliantly navigated all the complexities that go along with arranging a wedding and communicated with us constantly to be sure we were all on the same page. Sara knows all the best vendors, locations, and positively turns your vision into reality. She was phenomenal about walking us through all our choices and keeping us on track as well through timely and firm but kind reminders. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream! We didn’t have a worry at all throughout the ceremony or reception. She kept the church on track, got me (bride) to the altar on time, and kept an abrasive over-eager church usher at bay. Her orchestration of the reception couldn’t have been better either. Everything ran like clockwork, and everyone had a wonderful time. Sara saw everything through from setup to tear down. Her detail-oriented nature covered down on things we didn’t even think about but were noticed and appreciated by us and our guests. Sara made our dream wedding come true and is absolutely fantastic, and you’ll have a delightful time working with her! -

Queen of Idea Executing
I cannot say enough nice things about Sara as a planner. I met her because she planned by brother's wedding during COVID and was a wizard at pivoting plans from a large venue wedding to a small backyard wedding. For me, we luckily didn't have too many hiccups. My venue was a blank canvas and I would not have been able to turn it into my vision without Sara. She helped me find vendors, vet them, and guide them to my vision. I change my mind A LOT and Sara was always gracious in offering different solutions to things. She also was super helpful at keeping us on budget and offered insights into the best places to cut costs. On top of all of the amazing contributions I already mentioned, Sara's biggest strength is EXECUTING. Our wedding day went off without a hitch because of Sara's ability to coordinate all of our vendors and her truly understanding our vision. We had a rainy day and had to move the location of our ceremony and cocktail hour day of. Sara was able to reorganize while still keeping me calm. Our wedding was beautiful with so many personal touches I wouldn't have thought of without Sara's inspiration and help. If you are having an Eastern Shore wedding, you need her! -

Sara brings humor and sanity to wedding planning!
Sara was exactly the reliable, knowledgeable, and spunky person I needed by my side while planning a wedding for 150 guests from a few states away! I am borderline obsessive about details, and Sara not only answered my many, many questions about the most zoomed-in details, she really helped me zoom out and think more broadly about the overall experience we wanted for ourselves and our guests. She gave us confidence to cut out the "traditional" things that weren't actually meaningful to us and made sure we were fully prepared and on track for the things that did matter. In the final days leading up to our wedding, Sara helped us put out a few fires quickly, quietly, and with a sense of humor that matched our own. We had so much fun at our wedding and I felt surprisingly calm and present throughout the day, all thanks to Sara Reynolds! -

Amazing Experience
Please do yourself a favor and hire Sara as your wedding planner. I hired her for full-service planning and design from the beginning of the wedding planning process. From our first conversation, I knew Sara was the planner for me. Before even signing a contract, she was helping answer questions on budgets and venues and her personable, honest approach made me comfortable to dive right into the process with her. While Sara has so many great qualities, the ones that stood out to me were her experience in planning, her eye for detail and design, and her ability to present other quality vendors to work with.
From the start, Sara made a planning timeline that was manageable for me when I was balancing an overfull professional and personal life. She helped prioritize the decision making by what was important to me and my husband and set monthly goals. If I happened to start missing any of the deadlines, Sara was on top of reaching out and nudging me along as well as helping figure out why I wasn’t making decisions timely. Sara’s experience in event management really shined, however, when we had to reschedule the wedding twice due to covid and subsequent restrictions. The original wedding was May 2020 and Sara took a highly uncertain and stressful time and made rescheduling the entire wedding relatively painless for me. She coordinated with all the vendors and found dates that pretty much worked for everyone two different times over 2 years.
Sara was able to reschedule the wedding pretty easily as well because of the quality of the other vendors she knows and has worked with for several years. I was living in California during the first portion of wedding planning and didn’t have anyone who could recommend vendors in the Annapolis/Eastern Shore area. When making vendor decisions, Sara was able to present several quality vendors at different price points for every wedding need. She had either worked with them personally before or knew of their great reputations from others in the industry. This meant when it came to rescheduling, all the vendors were professional, responded quickly, and they all were able to keep their businesses going during the lockdown. I also felt like the wedding was highly executed because of how all the vendors worked together. We had last minute rain storms pop up right before our outdoor ceremony and it quickly became an indoor ceremony without a hitch. The DJ was set-up and the ceremony flowers and chairs were moved with minimal issues. Our whole wedding night was a blast with excellent food and service and our DJ kept the dance floor full.
Another way the wedding was excellently executed was in the overall feel and design of the wedding. Sara took a few vague wedding inspiration pictures, talked with me about some ideas I was thinking of, which happened to be more of I don’t like these colors and these designs, and put-together a design book I loved. I think we made two slight tweaks to the design book and I was good to go. She helped me focus on high impact items that fit my budget and talked me off the ledge of needing “all the wedding things” by really talking through items that no one was going to miss at the wedding. When I wasn’t liking any of the ready to print invitation suites on the large wedding websites, she helped find a great calligrapher/semi-custom invitation suite that felt truer to my wedding feel without having a fully custom price tag. My wedding had a cohesive, put-together look that I would never have been able to create without Sara’s help.
Ultimately, my wedding day is a day I wish I could live over and over again and that is largely due to Sara.

Sara helped make the wedding of my dreams come true! From the moment that I met Sara on our phone call, I knew that we would be a great match. She is down to earth, task-oriented, organized and creative. Sara's design skills were vast and she helped my ideas come to life, even after my vision changed throughout my engagement. When life became crazy, Sara was always there to keep our wedding planning on track, help communicate with vendors, and keep us adherent to our timeline. The month of the wedding, Sara could not have been more helpful. She had weekly phone calls with my mom and I, which were a life saver when it felt like there were 1,000 tasks to complete and decisions to make, especially while navigating the ever-changing COVID climate. The weekend of the wedding, Sara was amazing. She made sure that my husband and I ate, drank champagne, and kept the event flowing effortlessly so that we were able to truly enjoy the day.
If I had to go back, I would 100% hire Sara again! -

Best Wedding Decision We Made!
Hiring Sara to help plan and coordinate our wedding from start to finish was truly the best investment we made for our big day. She helped facilitate every single aspect of the design, execution, and communication with all of our vendors and put me and my now husband so at ease. I am a very type A person and originally thought I could probably handle planning the wedding on my own - but let me tell you I certainly could not have, at least not like Sara! Her expertise, experience, and relationships in the industry add so much value, and she prioritizes making sure as much of the wedding planning process is as stress free as possible for the bride and groom. Our wedding day came to life so much more beautifully than I had even dreamed up myself, and it was all due to Sara's planning and design execution. The best piece of wedding planning advice I could give, no matter your planning expertise or budget, would be to hire a planner and hopefully you are lucky enough to have Sara as yours! Sara was truly amazing and made wedding planning and our wedding day everything we hoped for and more. Sara went completely above and beyond- helping us navigate all the big ticket items such as vendors, to answering my texts at any time of the day, even if I was just texting her to let out some steam. Sara was not only professional, reliable, and wonderful at her job, but she made me feel at ease while trying to plan a COVID wedding that had many curveballs and changes throughout the process. Even during the last minutes stressors leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day, I was confident that Sara would make sure everything went smoothly and as we envisioned, and she 110% delivered. Sara was with us from the very beginning and helped us navigate one of the most insane times of our life. After getting engaged in October 2019 and booking our venue in November 2020 we had no idea the craziness that would then ensue. Sara worked with us through all the changes, up until the very last week when the mask mandates were lifted and we had to re-work our entire floorplan and some timeline aspects. Sara kept me sane throughout the entire weekend and my husband and I looked to her our entire wedding day to know where to go, what to do, and what was going on. Despite everything that has gone on in the last year, ALL was forgotten and absolutely perfect. She was able to help navigate both our family dynamics flawlessly which was a huge weight off my shoulders. Sara is the absolute best and I cannot imagine our wedding without her. If I could give every new bride only ONE piece of advice, it would be to book Sara as your wedding planner! I seriously have an endless amount of praise for everything Sara did to make my wedding (and my life) so much easier, especially during Covid. Initially, I hired Sara for the month-of leading up to my wedding, but when Covid hit in early 2020, things drastically changed. Sara ended up devoting so much care and attention to helping me reschedule my wedding, all of my vendors, and most importantly, trying to calm all of my anxieties and stress that came with wedding planning. Sara is not just a wedding planner, she will be your confidant, your biggest cheerleader, your therapist, your best friend, your biggest support system... and the list goes on!
Not only did Sara help my envision my perfect day, but she made sure to execute it perfectly! Everything from budget, logistics, and details to vendors, family dynamics, and my overall wedding vision... Sara was at the very core of everything, ensuring that her attention to even the littlest of details was taken care of.
My entire family, bridal party, and my guests were over the moon with how beautifully Sara orchestrated our wedding day. She quite literally took all of the stress off of everyone’s shoulders so that my family, friends, bridal party, and guests could be fully present in the joy and excitement of our wedding day, all thanks to Sara and her amazing team.
I could seriously go on and on and sing my praises from the rooftops about Sara. She is the absolute sweetest person I’ve ever met, and she was truly at the center of helping me enjoy the journey as a bride. I would 1000% put my trust in Sara, over and over again. She always brought me true peace and a much needed laugh when I needed it the most. I truly could not have imagined my day without her. Can I give more than 5 stars?
Not shocked that she is 5/5 from everyone, because she is absolutely, without a doubt, fantastic at her job. I am a project manager by day and her attention to detail, organization, and ability to execute puts me to shame.
Short review... Stop interviewing planners and hire Sara.
Detailed review:...
Overview: I had a sense the wedding planning would be a combination of design elements and event execution, but, obviously, had no idea that a pandemic would turn a normally challenging planning endeavor to one that seemed almost impossible. Through it all, Sara was calm, supportive, and patient. At every turn, she either had an immediate, expert answer or went out and found one. She literally re-planned my entire wedding in the course of 1.5 months. Plan H, as we called it, was incredible, and plans A-G would have been just as fabulous, had the state of the world not been what it was.
Style: Sara is so personable and kind. I really felt like I had a friend in my corner throughout the whole process. She is informal and straight forward, will tell you when you're being unreasonable and help you stick to your goals (budget, vibe, etc.) even when you make it difficult on her.
Availability: Sara must not sleep. I don't know if I should advertise this for her but she literally never left a text unanswered, no matter what time of day I sent it. I never had to remind her of a task, never had to follow up on something that was in her corner. As a busy professional, this was a huge plus.
Expertise: Sara knows the best vendors and knows how to organize them. It is a true talent to be able to corral 15+ businesses into the execution of a single weekend. She really shined when it came to the back of the house efforts of timeline, vendor management, and day of quarterbacking.
Design: Sara can execute any design and offers excellent suggestions when asked. She largely let me take the reins and would execute my ideas or shift them to something achievable. She knows who to go to within your budget to actually make those details happen. This is no small feat. If I had to do it again, I would probably stop and ask her to give her opinion on the details more, because everything that was "her idea" was excellent, though she also expertly incorporated "my ideas" into the overall event to make it seamless.
Long and short of it, talk to Sara. You will love her and she will execute an incredible wedding for you. -

SARA IS INCREDIBLE! From our first consultation I could tell she was the right planner for us. From the beginning Sara was honest and down to earth so I knew I could trust her. As someone who knew NOTHING about wedding planning, it was important to feel like I had a planner that was looking out for my best interest, being honest about pricing, and LISTENING to me (not pushing me to use certain vendors because she liked them, but finding vendors that would work best for me). Before even hiring Sara, she spent a long time going over what I needed from a planner and my vision; that extra time from the get go made me feel comfortable and not rushed into signing a contract blindly. Throughout my time working with Sara she was always available to answer texts/calls/emails. Sara even was communicating with me WHILE SHE WAS IN LABOR!! Sara was willing to help make any of my ideas come to life but also gave me advice in what things were worth the money and time and what details may not be as much of a priority. Sara was incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and ready to go to bat for her couples. I hated the planning process but Sara made it quite enjoyable and was very encouraging. Sara was "the best ever" and then some! -

I first had a call with Sara when I was looking for a planner. I remember she walked me through her organizational process and I didn't realize how valuable that was at the time. I came back to her months later after realizing that the planner I initially hired was not going to work out. Sara jumped right in and provided a totally different and professional experience from the start. She listed to what we valued and who we are and created the most beautiful look book to guide our decisions. I had already chosen most of my vendors when I found Sara but she swooped in and helped to select a florist and arranged for transportation. She is also a logistics mastermind and provided so much good advice throughout the process.
We also hired her to help with our rehearsal dinner which was the best decision we ever made. The venue canceled the week before and we really would not have been able to get another plan in place without her. I cannot recommend her enough and would hire her again if I was helping someone else to plan a wedding or event! -

We hired Sara as a day-of/month-of coordinator for our wedding in August and are so glad we did! She went above and beyond to make sure the weeks leading up to our wedding and day-of ran smoothly. She spent so much time texting, calling, and FaceTiming with me ahead of time to make sure everything went the way it was supposed to. She was absolutely worth every penny. Sara is the sweetest person and my only regret is not hiring her to do more! I would give her 10 stars if I could! -

We hired Sara for our month out coordinator, and the only regret we had was not having her plan the full wedding. She was on top of everything from the start, and made it her mission to make our wedding as stress-free as possible. She took care of all of the logistics, handled all of the problems that arose, and made sure that we got the exact wedding that we wanted. We cannot recommend Sara enough! -

My now wife and I are both vendors within the wedding industry, and have done well over 200 weddings between the two of us. With that being said, we knew our wedding coordinator had to be someone we could really trust with the biggest day of our lives and who would be as detail oriented as we are. Sara Reynolds delivered, and blew us away with how smoothly the day went.
We got married on our 100 acre family farm, and had so many working parts to the day, as the entire event was DIY. If I had a dollar for every time a guest, family member or other vendor said "Wow, who is your coordinator, she is the awesome" I may have been able to pay for my entire wedding. Sara and her assistant were the glue that held our big day together, and I'm not sure it would have been the most magical day of our lives had they not been steering the ship.
My wife and I will be referring Sara to any and all brides we come across in our businesses, as that is how much we trust in her being able to deliver utmost customer service! -

Sara is phenomenal! Best planner around!
From our very first call we were in love with her enthusiasm for us. We had not had any fun or success wedding planning on our own & decided to poke around into the world of wedding planners, realistically thinking we'd never be able to swing it. We reached out to a few, Sara being one of them, and were pleasantly surprised at her confidence to be able to execute the vision we had, including her services, all within our budget. We planned nearly our entire wedding while living Hawaii - a 6 hour time difference to the east coast; not an easy feat by any means and certainly would've been impossible without Sara. I flew home last October to visit venues on the Eastern Shore with my family; Sara had neatly scheduled an entire day of site visits & knew all the right the questions to ask. My family was a bit skeptical of why we hired a wedding planner, but they were sold after that first time meeting her. I felt like we already got our money worth just in that one day. From there on, every day she blew us away with her organization and timeliness. Her knowledge of area vendors and recommendations was priceless. She kept us on the ball and her monthly checklist breakdowns made the whole planning process much more palatable & fun! She was always willing to go the extra mile & always was in our corner, reminding us that it was OUR day. Sara's work with our budget was to say the least impressive; she knew the best routes to get the most bang for our buck and we actually were able to do quite a bit more than we had thought! She thought of everything and did not leave a single stone unturned. Aside from her just being an all around phenomenal person, her talent as a wedding planner far exceeds her reputation. We truly enjoyed our monthly Skype calls and really value the fact that we had the chance to work with such a sweet, thoughtful, and caring human. The wedding weekend was FLAWLESS and we only have Sara to thank. Our families were mind blown at how calm we were the months, weeks, and days prior to the wedding. She had everything all wrapped up 2 weeks ahead of the wedding and we were able to just sit back and enjoy this exciting time in our lives. People kept telling us how our wedding day would be such a blur because we'd be so stressed and busy, but we remember & thoroughly enjoyed the whole day - the whole weekend - and were really able to spend time with our family & friends because Sara had the whole thing handled. She not only met our expectations, but far surpassed in every way! Our day would not have been nearly as perfect had it not been for Sara. I’ve been thinking about how to put into words how amazing Sara is since my wedding. But honestly, I don't know if any combination of words will truly sum up just how outstanding she really is!
From the beginning, I could tell Sara was invested in my wedding. Unlike others I spoke with, she didn’t limit me to a 30-minute opening conversation. She talked with me about my engagement, my work, and just in general how I was feeling. She asked about where I was in the planning process and guided me to what I wanted to see in the end. As odd as it may seem, I didn’t dream about my wedding when I was little and truly wasn’t sure what I thought my wedding day would look like. But with Sara’s help, I can honestly say, it was the best day and I would relive it over and over if I could!
Sara helped me with endless items. She broke down wedding planning into monthly tasks that felt manageable and she would email me to check in each month. She has this amazing ability to instantly make you feel calm when you talk to her. Her balance of seriousness and humor are so perfect in this world of wedding planning. Sara helped with so many items throughout the process from organizing my budget to nailing down my vision for my wedding to putting together timelines for everyone to ensure the day went smoothly.
At times, I can be a control freak and originally struggled with the idea of putting someone else in charge of executing my wedding day. But with Sara, I never questioned it. I had one moment during the wedding day when I got stressed out because I was slightly behind schedule. Sara walked into our hotel room, talked with me about how we were just fine with time and instantly calmed me down. From there, it felt like all of my stress went away and it was the perfect day! And, I will forever be grateful for her having safety pins on hand to rehook the train of my dress after the bustle ripped during our first dance. Knowing I had her in my corner on my wedding day gave me true peace of mind.

Hiring Sara to be our "month of" wedding planner and coordinator was one of the BEST decisions we made during our wedding planning process. She's fantastic, easy going, and in addition to loving her job as a planner, she is also simply a pleasure to work with. She is detail-oriented, knowledgeable about vendors in the DC-MD-VA area, and provided the recommendations for many of the people we hired, including our florist and hair/makeup artists. We were not overly familiar with the Eastern Shore area, but Sara absolutely was and responded to all of our seemingly endless questions in a timely and helpful manner. She is MUCH MORE than a month-of planner, we spoke with Sara via email/phone/text as much as we wanted, and this unlimited conversation was all included in the very affordable price. On the day of our wedding, John and I did not have to do anything but simply enjoy each and every moment. Sara stayed until the end of the night, and even ran all around our 500 acre venue to ensure people/vendors arrived on time -- she truly does it all. Sara was a lifesaver in so many ways. I had actually originally booked a different coordinator, but due to extenuating circumstances they had to cancel and recommended Sara to me instead. This ended up being a blessing in disguise. Even though I just asked for day/month-of coordination, Sara gave me a check list and emailed me every month to make sure I was on track. Within the month before the wedding, she contacted all my vendors, sent out timelines, did our venue walkthrough with the caterer, delegated tasks to the wedding party, and overall made sure that we had nothing to worry about at our wedding. Since our venue was pretty barebones in terms of service, Sara was absolutely crucial in making sure everything was set up properly and running smoothly. She made us feel so at ease that right at ease to the point where we never felt nervous the whole day. It was great to actually enjoy our wedding day and we have her to thank for it! -

Sara was an absolute dream from day one. I knew from the get go that our wedding would be exceptionally complicated, with a full weekend of events, 225 guests, and a cast of very interesting characters including my wonderful but at times high-maintenance parents (including my dad, who officiated and was therefore adorably overbearing throughout the whole process). A wedding planner was an absolute must - one of the first vendors I hired - and I couldn't possibly regret it less!
I interviewed several planners around the Baltimore area for our wedding in Frederick, and Sara IMMEDIATELY put me at ease. She truly stood out from the crowd. She is just SO real - the perfect balance of calm and boundary-setting - keeping us squarely within our budget (as best she could...LOL) and setting appropriate expectations at every turn. She recommended vendors that fit within our price points and often exceeded expectations to keep our costs reasonable (florist! band! transportation!) She kept me on task even as I moved across the country 3 months before the wedding - no small feat - and never once did she let me let my stress get the best of me. She even won over my mother (who was - in a cute way - slightly offended that I hired a planner in the first place, and filled with a million opinions of varying degrees of sanity). Sara made wedding planning seem like the easiest of tasks, even through my intermittent moments of weakness (and the occasional temper tantrum).
On top of this, Sara went above and beyond behind the scenes to deal with the Jekyll/Hyde that was our venue coordinator. As stunning as the setting was, this person did nothing but create drama and stress for all vendors involved - ugh! Unbeknownst to me, she was suddenly changing answers to important logistical questions less than a week before the wedding, all of which involved details that had seemingly been worked out months before. It created a huge amount of work at the last minute for Sara and her crew, who still managed to take everything in stride, and keep me at an arm's length from anything that didn't absolutely require my participation. To this day I could never fully understand, nor will I ever know, the full extent of the headache - Sara works with the utmost professionalism in every single thing that she does.
AND THEN - the big day. I think we can reasonably say that we gave her a run for her money. We were barely on schedule. There were issues with the ceremony music that almost caused my dad to lose his nerve right before walking down the aisle. The bathrooms clogged and flooded, forcing guests to use the catering port-a-potties. The decorations required an additional hour or two to set up (my DIY was a little over-ambitious, as it turns out...), forcing the crews to work during the ceremony. Sara even had to run out and purchase table numbers because the ones I made were too small to be seen by the guests. Yet somehow, Sara tackled these issues so seamlessly that not a single person remembers a single hiccup from the entirety of the day. In fact, I have had no fewer than 50 guests compliment how smoothly every single thing went from start to finish - all thanks to the workhorse that was our incredible wedding planner!
Finally, I can safely say that Sara is a vendor's vendor. Every single company that we worked with (and it was essentially ALL a la carte) had nothing but compliments and love notes for Sara - the photographer, the set up crews, and the caterer to name a few gushed to me unprompted on several occasions! And the kicker - EVEN THE VENUE COORDINATOR had only good things to say and told me she can't wait to work with her again (lol...)
All in all, NOT an easy wedding - for a variety of reasons - and truly, Sara went above and beyond at every turn and made our logistically challenging day a perfect marriage, literally and figuratively, of people, places, and many, many moving parts. A plus plus plus plus!!!!!! -
Pamela Sent on 05/28/2018Sara Reynolds is amazing. We contracted with Sara for a limited package including some vendor selection and contract negotiations, and month of coordinating. My daughter, the bride, and I could not have made it to the wedding day without Sara. Sara is professional, organized, thoughtful, attentive and resourceful. There is no issue that Sara does not know how to plan for or solve. I felt confident that Sara understood the theme/style of wedding and reception that my daughter wanted and helped us achieve it. We had regular check ins with Sara and she was very adept at reducing our stress level, because let's fact it wedding planning is stressful. Sara's focus was making sure that all the details were attended to so that the bride and groom, and parents of the bride could enjoy all of the wedding festivities and Sara delivered with flying colors. I highly recommend Sara for wedding/event planning. Your event/day will be perfect with Sara on your team. I wish I could rate Sara with 10 gold stars, as five is not enough.

Megan Sent on 05/18/2018I have an endless amount of incredible things to say about this sweet girl! First of all, she was the backbone of my entire wedding day! I didn't have to worry about a thing! My parents, bridal party, and all the guest never stressed and got to enjoy my wedding day - that truly made Sara's experience priceless. Too many times are parents/family taking care of things that they should - because they need Sara!! From pesky guests, vendors with complications, and dealing with my momma (all the brides can relate!), she handle everything with so much more grace than I could have!
Secondly, her expertise with planning was a huge help! From the moment Sara & I met up to start going over my vision, logistics, and the budget - she was so realistic! She let me know that having a wedding at home came with its complications and would require more of a budget than we originally planned. She informed me about things I never would have thought of (flow of the day, portable restrooms, catering setup) and handled most of the non pretty stuff for me - what a blessing!
Lastly - Sara has the sweetest soul and made the process so enjoyable for me as a bride. She relaxed me, reminded me that everything would be perfect, and was always there when I needed to hear it. I simply could not have imagined the wedding planning process or my entire wedding day without her. I had the wedding of my dreams because of Sara. She feels more like a friend now and that is so much more than I could have ever hoped for! <3 -

I came to realize that planning a wedding in Annapolis when I live in California (and have no family in Annapolis) is quite a daunting task. How am I supposed to see the flowers?? And decide where to put everything in the venue when I've only seen in once?? Oh, and planning a ceremony at the Naval Academy Chapel is SO intimidating. There's so much you need - what if I forget something?! Nope. Not with Sara. She'll find out exactly what you need, remind you to get it, reach out to all of your vendors and keep it all organized, and give you the ability to just enjoy the process without the stress. By the way, no bride should ever create a wedding timeline - leave that to the professionals! They know the deal and have seen it done and it will be WAY better than anything you could come up with. There is so much more behind the scenes work than you could ever imagine. I knew that I didn't want to spend my wedding day thinking about logistics. Hiring Sara was the best decision I made. It's so important to remember the real reason of the wedding - marrying your favorite person and celebrating with all of your other favorite people! Sara really allows you to do that. If anything went wrong on the wedding day, I truly had no idea. Sara had it taken care of long before I would have ever found out about it. She changed the timeline as the night went on to make sure that it all flowed perfectly and her changes were spot on. She knew when it was time to end dinner and start the party and just got it done. I can't tell you how much I appreciated everything that her and her team did. She's the best. -

Kate Sent on 10/26/2015I really thought I could plan my wedding on my own (wrong). Couldn't be that hard right (wrong)? I had support from my fiance and parents, but they were happy to take a backseat and let me do my thing. I had booked my venue, photographer and caterer, and everyone seemed to be encouraging me to at least look into a day-of coordinator. My photographer Brittany Thomas recommended Sara. As someone just starting out in the wedding planning business, she was eager and affordable, so I figured hiring her would be a little gift for myself. What I got was a full on start to finish planner, and the biggest value for the money spent. For nearly a whole year I was able to text or email her any questions or concerns I had and get a quick thoughtful response. She was conscious and respectful of my budget. We shared a dropbox with a great budget tool, invite manager, tabs for various vendor info, etc.
A few examples of her great work: When I had no idea how to find a hair/makeup vendor to come to our venue, Sara looked up about 6 and made a full spreadsheet with their prices, services, extra fees, and links to wedding wire reviews. When I decided I wanted to use my mom's veil but needed to bleach it to get to the right shade of white, she looked up and sent me articles about safe methods to try (and I was successful!). She sat with me through my florist appointment until we came up with everything I wanted, then skillfully managed the disaster of finding out that my future MIL was allergic to the greenery I picked out. Even when I was too full of ideas or anxieties she was able to talk me down to a more reasonable state of mind.
She is friendly and professional, driven and responsible. My ceremony and reception were stunning- and any time I looked on the verge of getting stressed (family portraits is like herding cats FYI) she made me breath, and had my glass of wine right there at the ready.
Do yourself a favor, hire this woman. -

From the moment I met her, I knew I had found the right person for the job. Sara immediately responded to me after I reached out. Despite knowing we were only two months out she was ready to hit the ground running. Sara is direct and honest. She is full of positivity and enthusiasm. Even under pressure, she manages the details, big or small, flawlessly! We had a few challenging vendors that made planning less than enjoyable. The minute we started working with Sara she assumed responsibility and, like an absolute professional, made sure our vision was executed exactly. She reassured my husband and I that things were under control and our biggest job was to enjoy our time together - which I am so grateful for.
To say Sara went above and beyond her duties is an understatement. She met with my husband and I on several occasions to go over the details and make sure she completely understood what we wanted for our day. She made recommendations, introduced herself to our vendors, and took the reins seamlessly. Our vendors appreciated how organized she was and that they could go to her for anything and know that we were on the same page. She thinks about the overall event production which is essential. From start to finish she makes sure it is taken care of. We so appreciate all of the hard work Sara put into our day right down to staying late and checking-in the next day.
It is obvious that Sara loves what she does and her passion is evident in everything she did for our wedding. Our day was beautiful and unforgettable thanks to Sara and we cannot recommend her enough!
