Sara is amazing! We have used her for our engagement photos, family photos with our new dog, and our wedding photos. Every time, we have been so impressed with how our pictures turned out. Sara did an exceptional job with our engagement photos and weddings. My wife and I were living in a different state at the time of our engagement photos and had a very limited amount of time in Billings during the holidays. Despite it being one of our he busiest times of the year Sara worked with our schedule to make it work! On our wedding day she was nothing less than incredible. Sara did such an amazing job on our engagement and wedding pictures! We hired Sara as our photographer for our wedding in Cancun and they turned out perfect. She did a fabulous job of coordinating both of our rambunctious families, kept us well organized throughout the day while still capturing every special moment big or small. If you are in the market for a wedding photographer look no further! Sara is an absolute dream of a photographer and I can honestly say our wedding wouldn't have gone as perfect as it did without her. One of the things I found to be so incredible about Sara is her attention to detail. She brought some items for detail shots that I never would have thought of and even brought a copy of our wedding invitation to include as well! An incredible experience with Sara as our photographer!
My husband and I were so lucky to have had Sara Nagel photograph our wedding. We had quite a large wedding with many people involved and Sara handled everything with grace and professionalism. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, Sara Nagel is your gal. Not only does she take amazing pictures, she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, especially in the middle of a pandemic. Throughout the entire process, Sara was extremely patient, understanding, and supportive. We came across Sara last minute as we were trying to continue our original wedding date as an elopement after postponing our out of state wedding due to COVID. So Fun and Worth Every Penny!!!
I am so glad my husband and I chose Sara as our photographer. She was so helpful, cheery, and professional. I’m not one to spend lots of time thinking about details of how I want every photo to turn out; I gave Sara a few things I wanted for sure in my photos and she took off from there. Her creativity is stellar and took ALOT of stress off my plate! I’m so grateful for her passion for photography and making sure to capture those special moments. We recently got our album back and it is so exciting to see all the amazing photos that were captured on our special day 😊
I would also recommend using her husband, Pat Nagel for videography. He is so creative as well! A wedding video is worth the investment!

When it came to my wedding, I want the best quality photos. In order to have the best quality, I knew I needed the someone great. After research, I found Sara who exceeded all my thoughts. I am not the photo type, however, the photos are incredibly beautiful and are even hanging in my house. (I swore I wouldn’t hang photos either.)
She is talented and classy, professional but fun. She is by far the best photographer in Billings and I look forward to hiring her for any future events.

Wonderful Photographer and person
I knew before I got engaged that I wanted Sara to do my engagement and wedding photos, based off the work I had seen. She was very responsive in setting up a meeting to discuss booking and even accommodated our wedding date change after I couldn't find a venue. She survived not only negative degree temperatures and snow for our engagement session, but a down pour of rain on our wedding day and ventured out in the rain after our ceremony so we could get the one photo I really wanted. She did this all with a smile on her face and making my husband and bridal party laugh. She was thrilled that we included our fur baby in our engagement session, especially when our dog didn't cooperate for posed pictures. Sara managed to capture the energy of our dog while still professionally capturing my husband and I. I would definitely recommend Sara to anyone!

Best Decision We Made
Sara exceeded our expectations for engagement and wedding photos. During our engagement shoot, she let my parents come by to sneak in a few family pictures since we have not had any done since I was in 6th grade...all free of charge! She made everything so easy for us. She goes above and beyond for her clients. At our wedding, she even stayed later than planned to help capture our Sparkler Send-Off! We could not have asked for a better photographer to work with through some of the biggest moments of our lives!

Sara is wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer! I had been part of a wedding party for a wedding which she was working at, and found her to be easy and enjoyable to work with, with amazing end product results. So I hunted her out for my own wedding a few years later, and she was everything I could have wanted in a photographer! She’s really great at making everyone feel relaxed and enjoy the photograph experience, is a fun person to have be a part of your big wedding day, and captures beautiful photographs.
The collection of photos I received from her had great posed photos (all those family and wedding party photos everyone wants) and charming candid photos that captured the fun and personality of my husband and myself and everyone who was there that day. I couldn’t be happier.

What a wonderful experience with an amazing photography team!!! My wife and I were told that one item you don't want to slack on is a good photographer and selecting Sara Nagel Photography was the best thing we could have done! Sara offered us two photographers at our wedding and her husband was there as well to take videography. Five hundred photos and a full length, ten minute montage of our wedding later, we feel it was beyond money well spent to have these items that will last a lifetime and beyond! Sara makes every process from beginning to end simple.
First off, I'm someone that isn't good at attention brought on myself and knowing full-well how nervous I was going into the photo session, Sara immediately was able to calm me down. Her combined efforts of kind and calming words, and her knowledge of just what to ask of us captured moments between my fiancee and I that are of true essence, what makes us, us. I was worried how the photos were going to turn out. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long! When I saw them, for the first time ever was I ever so grateful that we had professional photography done of us, especially for our engagement of our marriage. Sara did an amazing job at capturing us, and we will always have these moments of time saved for years to come. PS. We received several different photos, expressing emotions across the spectrum in under 15 minutes before the snow began coming down on us! It was a neat experience!

Beautiful Photos in the Mountains!
Sara was an amazing photographer! Our Ceremony was in the middle of nowhere (without cell reception!) and she was more than happy to drive over 2 hours to our venue. She had the best ideas for poses and group shots, but still wanted our feedback and let us try out our own pose ideas. We also had a second shooter, Danielle, who worked with Sara and the both of them were truly the dream team! It was like they knew exactly what the other was thinking and got the best shots. Our number one priority was to have good quality photos for years to come. We got that from Sara.
Our photos turned out wonderfully and we are very satisfied customers. We moved across the country, but Sara STILL sent us our copies and a flash drive even though we moved so far away.
We cannot Thank Sara and her team enough!

She has such a beautiful, wonderful and enjoyable personality, it's almost impossible to not smile when you're with her :) Both my husband and I were nervous when we were going to our engagement photo shoot, but with her wonderful personality and adorable humor, within the first 20 minutes of working with Sara, we were both totally at ease and found that we were really enjoying our photo session. Sara was able to capture every special moment and I feel as if I can relive our wedding day over and over by looking at the pictures. They are bright and colorful and capture the best of every person there. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is great to work with. I did not know her before I hired her but she was very personable and made us all feel like we had known her for a long time. She is also very accommodating and flexible. The day of my wedding she went above and beyond to make our day as special as it could be. She even took an unplanned detour stop with us to visit my grandparents who were not able to make it to the wedding due to health issues. For anyone out there looking for a photographer to capture all of the memories of your special day, Sara is absolutely the one you want to go with! Sara did our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and my boudoir shoot. Every single photo was nothing short of amazing! It's obvious in working with her for a short amount of time that she is genuinely passionate about what she does, and her passion reflects the phenomenal work she produces. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and it didn't take long for my husband and I to feel like we've known her for years. I can guarantee that you will not find a photographer as genuine or reliable as Sara. Not only did she do an amazing job doing our posed photos, but the candid shots of the wedding she and her second photographer, Danielle, got are moments we will forever be grateful for. Sara is extremely laid back and fun, and working with her was a breeze. We will absolutely be hiring her for future photos! I haven't had much experience with professional photographers but I can tell for certain, Sara is the best! The pictures were amazing but what stuck out the most was how nice and genuine she is! She put every guest at my wedding at ease and was so easy to work with!

Where to even start?! Sara is absolutely AMAZING! Her and her team will go above & beyond to make you, your wedding party, your family & your guests feel comfortable! They are extremely easy to work with & have wonderful ideas on things to do & how to do it. Don't let that intimidate you though because if you have a different idea or don't like a suggestion they are more than willing to do it your way, it is your big day after all! She is quick, easy to talk to & every organized. I have a huge family & so does my husband & we got them organized for a group photo & the pictures taken without a hitch. When we got the pictures back they were amazing! She is speedy in editing your photos & getting them back to you & is amazing at communicating with you on where they are.
Another huge thing I would like to mention is she is ENCOURAGING. The night before the wedding it was slated to rain & poor the whole next day. We were getting calls, texts & emails from everyone asking if it was still on & if we were changing the location as we were having an out door ceremony. As you can imagine it is stressful in its self looking at the weather & seeing that, then to add all that concern on top of it. Soon I get a text from Sara & instead of asking if we have a new plan she starts shooting out amazing ideas on how to embrace the weather & make the best of it so that we can still have the outdoor wedding & pictures that we wanted. She know that this was important to us & wanted to make it work. This was HUGE for us! It made me feel much better in the weather that was coming & helped us look at the positives. I cannot express that gratitude that I have for these simple texts & ideas as it truly brought up my mood & excitement in the mist of bad weather. In the end it did not rain, it was just really windy. BUT ABOVE ALL IT WAS PERFECT & she captured all of the details, the love and the magic of the day! We could not have had anyone better!

I knew from the first time that I had met Sara she would be our wedding photographer. Not only was her portfolio impressive, but she was very professional and kind. When it came time for our engagement session she made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera, she always had creative ideas and kept us laughing the entire time. We had received so many compliments on our engagement photo's that I knew our wedding photo's wouldn't be anything less than amazing. Sara truly captured every single special moment from our day. The day seemed to pass us by so quickly that it's nice to be able to look back and relive the day again. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and we look forward to working with Sara again in the future!

Without you and Danielle helping to organize everything, our day would have been complete chaos. Our pictures turned out absolutely AMAZING!!!! Also, you were SO easy to contact and to work with, you were willing to help with whatever we needed help with :) and you have some great ideas for pictures! Book her as soon as you can! Sara did an AMAZING job on our wedding photos. We got compliments from all of our guests how we did a great job choosing a photographer, she wasn't nit picky telling everyone to turn their head a certain way, it felt very relaxed and natural and she really captured everyone in their natural element. I don't think I've ever looked as good in a picture as I look in the photos she took, and as a bride that is really important. The photos capture the story we wanted to tell and Sara was wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond to get us the photos we wanted, and she had them edited and back to us in less than a month, during her busiest season! I would absolutely recommend her to everyone. They say all you have left after the wedding is your pictures, and we have the most incredible photos to help us relive our special day, thanks to Sara. The color and quality of her pictures are amazing, she really does a fantastic job!

Sara is an absolute delight to work with. She put the hubby and I in awkward poses to get that great shot. She even taught us how to kiss for the camera! It was a sweltering day and Sara and team made it work. Great person, great product, great memories!

I am a photographer myself and I spent FOREVER researching and looking for a photographer that I knew FOR SURE would guarantee us photos we would love. We found Sara and did engagement, boudoir, and wedding photos with her. EVERY photo is GORGEOUS. WE LOVE HER! She will be our photographer for everything until forever and is going to photograph my sister's wedding too (that's how much faith I have in her). We recommend Sara to EVERYONE. No one else should use another photographer. Her prices are extremely fair. She is very good about being kind but also organizing large groups and having a good time. Other photographers offering the same services in this area with the same quality as her (which are top notch services) are almost $10,000! Woah. You are getting a steal with Sara. Sara also returns your photos quickly and always responds to your contacts with her SUPER FAST. SHE IS SIMPLY AMAZING. Just remember: after your wedding is over, all you have left is your marriage, your memories, and the photos. Make them perfect with Sara. Sara gets a million stars out of 5 from us. We love Sara.

She helped come up with a timeline of pictures for the wedding day, which was a huge help (one less thing for me to worry about.) She also didn't leave until we were sure we had all of the pictures that we wanted taken. She makes it such a relaxing environment and captures wonderful REAL moments. WOW! Sara is unbelievably talented. She was energetic, creative, and attentive. I literally loved every single photo that she produced. She was extremely organized and took the time to talk beforehand so that she could deliver just what we wanted at our wedding. Her pictures are phenomenal, especially her ability to get the colors and lighting to perfection. We have gotten compliments on our wedding photos like you wouldn't believe; many of my friends and family have told us that they've never seen better wedding photos. She provided the photos very quickly after the wedding. Getting pictures taken with her was exciting and she made us laugh and enjoy every second of it. Everyone looks fantastic in our wedding pictures and she captured so many unexpected moments. I feel so lucky that Sara was our Wedding Photographer, she was AMAZING and I would definitely recommend her to photograph your wedding.

I would recommend Simply Sara Photography to anybody looking for a fun, energetic, kind, and flexible photographer for ANY event! Sara photographed our wedding day, and it was nothing short of wonderful. She made us all feel very comfortable and the pictures really show the fun we had all day long. She kept the energy up and was wonderful with photographing the kids that we had there that day. Sara was very time conscious and made sure that we had enough time to get all of the photos we wanted without being rushed. We especially liked Sara's work-ethic and professionalism while photographing our reception. She kept on taking pictures the entire time, and we have so many priceless moments because of that. Sara is absolutely worth the investment of a wedding photographer, and we plan of having her photograph other milestones throughout our life.

Sara is a photographer that I have used personally and that my husband and I had used prior to our wedding. She always does an amazing job and we didn't even contemplate using anyone but her. Sara is a very take charge kind of person and not only did she make sure we got all the pictures that we wanted, she also kept our wedding night running smoothly and on schedule. She makes you feel very at ease in front of the camera and the picture taking was more fun than anything else. I credit her for "making" me smile with my teeth, because I never did before she started photographing me. We absolutely love our portfolio of wedding and engagement photos! She captured our day perfectly and we will forever have these beautiful photos to remember our special day.
