Sara came to do the hair and make up for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding. She is fantastic! She listens to your concerns and will make the look work for you based on what feedback you give her. She flawlessly recreated the inspiration pictures we all showed her and was by far our most punctual vendor. I would highly recommend her! -

After a mishap with my originally planned hair/makeup artist, I was apprehensive about things going well for my wedding. I am SO happy I stumbled upon Sara who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She offered a trial run for me to see how my hair and makeup would turn out before the event which was lovely and helped to ease my nerves.
I have genuinely never felt more beautiful (and photogenic) than I did on my wedding day and it's all thanks to Sara. I cannot recommend her enough. She's such a sweet person and has such talent. 5/5 would recommend. -

I cannot say enough good things about Sara. She drove up a mountain during a tropical storm to help us get ready before the wedding, and she rolled with the punches when my bridal party requested different styles the day of the wedding. My mother and my MIL both loved her makeup and styling, and Sara was able to change my styling day based on the weather. In the end, she was able to do exactly what I wanted with a different look from the trial. -

Sara did such an incredible job doing my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids' hair for my wedding! I don't usually wear makeup, even for special occasions, so I was worried that professional makeup would make me not feel like myself. I told Sara I didn't want anything over the top and she did a fantastic job giving me a look that made me feel like a glammed up version of myself. She worked really quickly and got each bridesmaid's hair done in under half an hour. The makeup she used was super high quality and lasted through the sweat and happy tears of the day (lasting from 1pm until past midnight when I took it off!) Because I'm from out of town, I couldn't find time to travel in for a hair and makeup trial, but I trusted Sara and she went above and beyond my expectations! Wonderful MUA
Sara did my makeup for a wedding at Rixey Manor! She was so personable and flexible on my wedding day. Her talent is undeniable and she is so sweet! I felt gorgeous and so did my girls! -

My Future Hairstylist!
I found Sara here on wedding wire. I knew she was going to be a great fit just because of how responsive she was over email and how reasonably priced she was. I had my hair trial with her a couple of weeks before the wedding and instantly knew she would be a great hit with my bridesmaids, not only because she was very talented, but also because of how personable and flexible she was. She gave me some really great advice about how to wear my hair that day and the day of went so much smoother because of it! The day of she did my and all of my bridesmaids hair. I went with this cute low ponytail with a braid to show off my extensions. She also did my and the majority of my bridesmaids makeup. We all looked fabulous. I have not had good luck before with other stylists doing my makeup and was a little reluctant, but I think that was honestly my favorite part of this experience with Sara. She really listened to my goals - natural looking and utilizing highlighter, focus on eyebrows. I got so many compliments from my bridesmaids on how they felt they looked. I can’t wait for photos! -

Amazing experience

Hair/Makeup Review
Sara completed all the hair and makeup for my special day and even with a tight schedule, she was able to get it all completed in time! I was able to get a wedding trial done months before my wedding to test out hair/makeup styles. Sara will come to you (AMAZING) and she was able to start SUPER early. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for hair/makeup for a wedding. Makeup stayed on all day and Sara supplied eyelashes to anyone who wanted! -

Sara is amazing!! We were short on time because getting married in December the sun sets early, and Sara was so flexible and accommodating and made sure everything was perfect on time!! My hair and makeup was beautiful and exactly what I asked for. She’s great! -

Couldn’t Be Happier
Sara was an absolute pleasure to work with, from initial consultation to day-of artistry. Sara covered hair and makeup for my full bridal party (5) and mothers of the bride and groom.
Our trial was absolutely crucial for customizing the look and feel, and she came through on the big day! Sara was responsive to a range of questions. She sourced and installed my extensions and helped me hunt down the perfect lip liner/color to keep with me the full night.
Our 11/6/2021 wedding involved a lot of pandemic-related contingency planning. Sara was professional and up front in drawing up a contract that worked for us both. I appreciated her flexibility and skill— I recommend her highly. -

Amazing work
Sara was professional and personable. She promptly responded and helped plan my bridal look and my bridal party . I knew little to nothing about professional hair and make up and she was so kind, and explained every step of the process. She showed up early and did amazing work. She also did 7 girls hair and make up all by herself and completely killed it. I will definitely be in contact for other events. -

Punctual and professional
Sara was great to work with! The trial was smooth and I felt comfortable the whole time, she listened to what each girl wanted and to my vision- everyone felt confident, beautiful, and we finished ahead of schedule! I have been part of weddings that did not have a good beauty team and it can really get things started on the wrong foot, highly recommend working with Sara after my great experience! -

Excellent work and professional!
Sara did such a fabulous job from start to finish! As the bride we did a trial to make sure I was happy with the hair and make-up look, and all of my bridesmaids were able to see her work and loved it. She is always prepared and easy to talk with, very reasonably priced and was on time. Highly recommend!! -

LOVED having Sara for my hair and make up!!!
Sara was a recommendation on my wedding dress shops facebook page. She was very quick with responding, prices were reasonable, I showed her pictures and she brought them to life. I did a trial with her and LOVED it!! She also brought another hair stylist with her and my bridesmaids loved having her do their hair. She was amazing to work with! Sara was apart of my big day in August, and I can honestly say that it made my special day amazing. When my fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19, she was so helpful in making sure that our future date was secured for us. When our day finally arrived, Sara was quick, efficient, (we actually ended up being ahead of schedule) and so personable. I truly have never felt more beautiful - even after asking to change my hair five times before finally deciding on a look. Sara to this day is still my go to girl for all my hair needs! I'm so grateful I found her! Book Sara for your big day, I promise you won't regret it!! -

I hired Sara to do my hair and makeup on wedding day. She was super easy to work with and even came to my home in DC to do a trial run. After the trial, I realized I had a different vision for my look and I was able to communicate that to Sara and she executed my new vision perfectly on the wedding day.
On our wedding day, Sara was super relaxed and calm. She did the hair and/or makeup for most of my bridal party plus my mother-in-law all on her own. Everyone looked beautiful!
I would recommend Sara for your wedding day, she is great! -

Incredibly Talented
From my experience, Sara is a hidden gem among the many wedding stylists in Northern Virginia. Before finding Sara, I was struggling to find someone who fit my needs. Makeup was the most difficult for me. I went to some artists before Sara and every time I just did not recognize myself. Finding Sara was a turning point for me. I was so impressed by the result on my wedding day. She is an amazing talent, and her pricing is fair. The other artists I went to were extremely pricey, and delivered a poor result. Sara’s makeup was properly blended, seamless, and had me looking my absolute best. She was also easy to work with, flexible, and got everyone done in a timely manner. I hope our paths cross again one day so I can get as beautified as I did that day. I cannot recommend highly enough… set up a trial and see for yourself! -

Sara was absolutely amazing! She did the hair and makeup for myself and my four bridesmaids! She was so kind, very professional, and it took her only three hours to do the hair and makeup for all five of us. She came to an Airbnb that my family stayed at, and she also drove over to the venue to be sure that our hair stayed in after we put our dresses on and to put in our floral hairpieces. I was so impressed, and I definitely recommend her to anyone! -
