    Wendy at Sapphire Banquet Hall was fantastic! She definitely exceeded my expectations!

    Overall our 25 wedding Anniversary party at Sapphire Event center and banquet hall was absolutely perfect! The staff made sure that everything was set up and done with perfection! I couldn’t have chosen a better location!

    The ultimate event center!

    Wendy was the consummate professional from the first meeting literally until our event ended. She’s over delivered on our expectations in every aspect!

    We had a function that was to be one night with a second night of the function somewhere else that we had used before. But because of how easy it was to work with Wendy we convinced the event for the second night to also be held at Sapphire.

    There’s no doubt that we’d go to Sapphire and Wendy first for our next event and are already recommending them to others to use her and them too.

    I was a bride's maid at my sister's wedding. Absolutely love this venue. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We experienced the best customer service and they went out of their way to make our event successful. Thank you Sapphire!

    WOW! What a wonderful venue

    Not many event centers have a free standing building in the DFW area. Sapphire has that unique feature with ample of parking. That’s what I liked about it when I first saw it. Interior is beautiful and elegant. The service was extremely professional. I will recommend it to anyone who is looking to host their event.

    My wedding was amazing thank to Sapphire Banquet!!

    The staff made everything work out very well especially Zahid and Wendy they were really helpful with everything including when I changed my mind on chairs! Thank you Sapphire Banquet for making my wedding a dream come true! My husband and I loved it thank you!!

    Overall a great experience

    The business like any other has made many transitions. I worked with two different managers there were ups and downs like with every event planning. What I really liked was that they were able to keep their word and honored previous made promises, even some that were very hard and almost impossible. They made adjustments and worked with me in every step of the way. They were able to get me last minute vendors since some of my originally booked ones that weren’t affiliated with sapphire cancelled last minute. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

    Owner is very rude and unprofessional

    The owner is not professional at all! The venue is nice but, a lot of miscommunication with the staff and owner!

    Professionalism is at an all time low

    This venue came up as one we would like based on our description however… the first time we drove out there it wasn’t open on a Friday. We received 3 different email reminders telling us to be there at 9am. Well the venue apparently doesn’t open until 10am and the lady stated she texted the wrong number to let us know. So she called to explain why she wasn’t there and how it was traffic, etc ended up sending over a proposal which we liked so we were like okay let’s give it another try. We reached back out to schedule a tour for Monday at 10am since we knew they opened at 10 this time. We arrived at 10:10am to find the gates locked. We sent a text and was told “I thought it was at 11am, I never schedule 10am tours”. Therefore, we felt as if our business was not even wanted. If that is the service we are getting to get a facility then the day of is only going to be terrible.

    Horrible and unprofessional

    After months of dealing with this company and my friend committing to her wedding here….closer to the wedding date things change…more money was asked and then on the wedding day a lady by the name of Wendy was soooo rude to the bride. I would not recommend there are nicer places in Dallas to have your wedding…maybe because we were people of colour...although I hate thinking like this. I don’t know but when people are paying for a service we should get what we paid for and be treated like humans and be professional as well.

    Truly disappointing

    I had toured the venue March 2021 and have been in constant communication with the owner and general manager. We ended up depositing to book our wedding for 11/5/2022 around 8/2021. We received a text from the general manager (Tiffany) and she said there was a three day wedding booked during our wedding so we should move it and that we would receive 25% off the rental cost and get the whole building to ourself due to the inconvenience. (So we agreed because who wants to have a wedding the same time someone else is too) Fastforward to 3/2022 for the grand opening of the venue, I had to contact the owner because the proposal did not have the 25% discount (only a 14% discount). We had a meeting with the owner and he said he does not know anything about the 25% discount, general manager is no longer with them, and there was no three day wedding booked in Nov so he does not honor the discount. (I sent the owner the proof via text and told him she even mentioned it on HoneyBook where all the owners are attached and upped all the prices for food, drinks, cake cutting, and also charge for the GOLD PACKAGE (premium gold chairs and decor) that was suppose to be with it. So we had a 12K increase in our proposal. As a customer , we are just in shock because we had signed our deposit back in 8/2021 and the proposal is NOW BEING UPDATED and now it is so much more expensive.
    I would be stressed out thinking about how the proposal can change 3 days prior to my wedding date. As a result, my fiance and I decided to look for other venues because how can I plan this wedding in advance and still have to deal with this. I was only able to get back 1000 from my 5000 deposit. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VENUE TO ANYONE.
