We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful officiant on our special day. From the very first meeting, Naomi was warm, approachable, and made us feel completely at ease. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, incorporating our personal story and values into a heartfelt ceremony that was meaningful and beautiful. The ceremony flowed perfectly, and we received countless compliments from our guests about how touching and personal it was. We truly felt that Naomi went above and beyond to make our wedding day memorable. We can't thank Naomi enough for the heartwarming, personalized, thoughtful, and touching ceremony that we will remember for the rest of our lives! She officiated our wedding on 8/18/23 at The Sequoia Retreat Center and it was truly perfect.
Our number one priority for our wedding was the ceremony itself. Originally we considered having a friend or family officiate, because we thought it could be nice to have someone we know guide us, but we ultimately realized the value in choosing someone who is experienced in ceremonies.
So, one night as I was (sort of) trying to fall asleep - but really was scrolling through instagram - I happened upon Naomi's account and her website and instantly knew she was the one. I was very moved by her passion for ceremony and the approach she takes to officiating. I immediately told my partner, Luke, about her and we both agreed she would be the perfect person to marry us.
Naomi was the first vendor we reached out to, met with, and hired for our wedding.
Our zoom meetings with her were easeful as she was able to guide us through them. Any communication we had with her leading up to the wedding was wonderful and her response time was quick. She had us each individually fill out a questionnaire with the purpose of us reflecting on our past, preparing us for our future, and so she could get the information she needed to write the custom ceremony. She helped us with writing our vows and gave great feedback. She provided deadlines for us far in advance of the wedding so that nothing was last minute and she supported us throughout the whole process. She was flexible in creating a payment plan that worked for us. And she gave us our written ceremony after the wedding for us to keep and look back at.
The ceremony was beyond special and it our favorite part of the day. Every word was meaningful, it was perfectly tailored to our relationship, and we loved the way our guests were involved. We received so many compliments, many guests saying it was their favorite part of the wedding and the best ceremony they had ever experienced. It had us and our guests buzzing in a love bubble the rest of the day and night. I wish I could relive it over and over again.

We had the pleasure of having Naomi officiate our wedding ceremony this past July, and we couldn't have asked for a more enchanting and unique experience. From the moment we met Naomi, we knew that our wedding ceremony was going to be something truly magical.
During our initial wedding planning discussions, we agreed on the importance of incorporating a custom and non-traditional ceremony, that allowed for ourselves and our guests the opportunity to slow down and honor the sacredness of the rite of marriage. We knew it was essential for us to find an officiant who not only aligned with our personalities, values and world views, but also understood the significance of ceremony and ritual.
Over the 11 months of wedding planning, Naomi took the time to get to know us as a couple, delving into our journey over the past 16 years and understanding the intricate details of our relationship. This was evident throughout our entire ceremony, which was beautifully custom-tailored to reflect our individual story. It was unlike any wedding ceremony we (nor our guests) had ever witnessed – which incorporated a blend of non-traditional elements, including depth psychology themes, nature, metaphor and ritualistic symbolism.
Naomi created an experiential ceremony in which our guests were not mere spectators, but active participants. The participation of our guests allowed us to collectively share in the love and joy of our union while highlighting our loved one’s integral role in our story, making our wedding not just an event to witness, but an experience to be a part of.
Naomi’s fearlessness allows her to step outside the boundaries of convention, which resulted in a wedding that was an authentic reflection of our love. Naomi was influential in helping us create our dream wedding which was an unforgettable and transcendent experience that we are still feeling to this day.

Naomi truly helped make our wedding the most magical and happy day of our lives. The ceremony was so beautiful and meaningful, speaking to who we are with so much truth.
I was in awe during the whole ceremony at the different phases Naomi walked us through in taking the next big step together in our relationship. I truly felt her guiding us like an old friend, helping us stay present and in the moment as we became husband and wife.
She showed our guests a beautiful ceremony and people from all different religions and backgrounds kept coming up to us and commenting on how beautiful and spiritual it was!
We’re so happy to have found Naomi to be our officiant and can’t imagine our wedding day unfolding like it did without her.

Naomi was without a doubt one of if not the best vendor we worked with. Before working with her we weren't really focused on the officiant but she made us realize how important the bond between us all was for a successful ceremony. She felt like family immediately and put in so much thoughtful effort towards creating a one of a kind memorable ceremony. Pretty much every guest went out of their way to mention how much they loved her and the words she spoke. We love Naomi and looking forward to keeping in touch. -

I don’t think I can fully describe the magic and meaning in my wedding ceremony. It was the perfect right of passage experience for myself and my husband has said the same. Naomi is wonderful to work with and she was intentional, thoughtful and skillful in her ceremony-creation process. My husband and I planned our wedding in four months and we do not live in California. These odds had me worried that I might not have a wedding ceremony that felt authentic or aligned with our spirit and story. Our ceremony exceeded my expectations! I am just so glad that I googled “Santa Cruz officiant” and that Naomi happened to be available on the day of our wedding.
We worked with Naomi on a customized ceremony. We each filled out questionnaires and had meetings with her. This was a very fruitful experience for both of us, as it helped us to ground in where we have been and prepared us for the initiation ahead. I appreciated that Naomi kept us involved in some major pieces of the ceremony where it made the most sense. However, there was also plenty of beautiful surprises in what she wove into the ceremony that was completely and utterly….us. Thank you, Naomi, I will cherish and revisit our ceremony for the rest of my life.

Our wedding day was: magical, transformative, alchemizing, healing, heart-expanding, truth-affirming, spiritually-aligned, filled with synchronicity, and blessed by the landscape and the elements.
It was about: being in touch with nature, tasting sweetness, breaking patterns, starting anew, and practicing intentional deep and unconditional love.
Our spirits were cleansed by smoke and the wild wind as we were reborn as individuals and joined in sacred union by our one-of-a-kind, heaven-sent ceremonialist Naomi.
I could go on and on and on…. Thank you, Naomi! You were a light during the chaotic and anxiety-filled planning process and I won’t forget your gentle reminders to stay aligned especially when I had fears and doubts about veering away from the traditional. Thank you for your open-heartedness and your steadfastness through it all, and for bringing your magic & medicine into our marriage. A breath of fresh air, breathed new life into us—opened a portal into forever…a moment we can go back to again and again and again.
It was so precious and exciting to receive a copy of our ceremony; to be able to relive that moment and to return to the fullness of emotion on our most special day is irreplaceable. Through Naomi’s process, she really got to the essence of our love story, dug deep into our hearts and souls, and delivered a magical, personal, utterly unique, deeply meaningful and life-changing ceremony. She is capable of everything she promises and more, and we achieved it with minimal stress and maximum enjoyment.
It was everything I wanted, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect for me and my husband. We will treasure this forever, and tell our future kids and grandkids all about it. I know that I will treasure Naomi’s friendship and leadership for life. Interestingly, I found her through an equally magical and intuitive hit, by googling the first thing that came to mind: “Santa Cruz Officiant,” her website title and official handle on social media. Reading her website, I had a sense I found a kindred spirit.

Our wedding ceremony was nothing short of incredible, and we owe so much of it to Naomi! She crafted such a unique, intimate, and heartfelt ceremony.. which set the tone and intentions not only for our wedding day, but for our marriage and life together. Amazing and happy we found Naomi
If you are looking for an officiant. Naomi is yours go to. Originally we booked with a different officiant but we couldn’t find the right connection between us when we met. At the last minute we found Naomi and kind enough she booked us in for our last minute wedding. We couldn’t be happier we found her. We connected with her right away just through our first zoom meeting. We told her our stories and she gave me the trust. Our wedding couldn’t be completed without her help. She was so amazing and helpful. She connected us with our guests before our wedding started and we were so comfortable with her through out our ceremony. Naomi has been so wonderful since day one. She took the time to get to know us, answered all of our questions, and was incredibly understanding when we had to postpone our ceremony due to Covid.
On the day of the wedding, Naomi masterfully created a sacred space for us. We are not religious, but our ceremony still held a spiritual weight. Naomi’s words were intentional, grounding, and full of love. She gave us the gift of a beautiful memory on our wedding day. We could not imagine anyone else being our guide into married life! -

Naomi officiated our wedding and was wonderful to work with. She agreed to meet with us in advance of the wedding and took time to get to know us and also provided us with templates to write our vows. The day of she was a calming presence for my husband who was a bit flustered and kept as all at ease when things weren't going as planned. The ceremony was lovely and heartfelt and really made our guests feel a part of the wedding. Every couple wants their wedding ceremony to be special, even if they don't know exactly what that looks like, or how to make it happen. That’s where we were at when we found Naomi. Naomi delivered a ceremony that was beyond anything we ever could have imagined. Without exaggeration, every attendee (including the vendors and support staff!!!) described our ceremony as one of the most touching, meaningful, intelligent, and overall loving ceremonies they had ever witnessed. And Naomi was at the center of it all. She truly took the time to get to know us, and it was her thorough understanding of us that gave our ceremony the depth, breadth and impact that it did. We didn't dictate or control every aspect of the ceremony creation process. We trusted Naomi, and that trust was rewarded with a magnificently joyous ceremony. Naomi brought elements of spirituality and practicality into it. She helped us write and refine our vows, honored our ancestors and key events in our pasts, and included several of our most beloved guests, who, with our consent and her guidance, surprised us with their beautiful contributions to the ceremony. She did all of this with flexibility, rather than force-feeding any unwanted doctrine or cliché elements. Where many officiants deliver words, Naomi delivered poetry. To say that there wasn’t a dry eye in the house is far too limiting – her efforts prompted a wide range of deep emotional reactions from our guests and ourselves, from tears to laughter, and everything in between. She caused us all to think, reflect, appreciate and, through it all, celebrate the joining of our lives; and she made the moment nothing short of magical. If you are fortunate enough to have Naomi as your wedding officiant, you will have an experience that neither you, nor your guests, will ever forget. We were truly blessed to find Naomi. We love her and cannot begin to describe our gratitude for what she created for us: a wedding ceremony like no other, that, without us even knowing it, was exactly what we needed. -
Angelina Sent on 08/31/2018All I can say is, I can’t imagine anyone else officiating our day. The ceremony was the most valuable part of the wedding to us. Naomi understood that, and knew more than I did about how to manifest my perfect wedding. From a brides perspective, we have no idea of all the different variables of how it can go down. There’s your dream, but then there’s making your dream happen effortlessly and perfectly. She gave us so many pointers on things I would have never thought of. She met with my husband & myself for 2 hours to grasp our history and why were making this choice and she weaved it into something so personal and awe inspiring. It still makes me want to cry, it was so perfect. I got compliments from our most high profile guests who said that was their dream ceremony. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for her efforts, love and what she put out into the universe on our behalf. Anyone can marry you, but the ceremony is the gift to you and your partner. The rest of the wedding is for everyone else. I took money out of the reception to pay for her and I am so thankful I did. On a side note I asked for healing in my family so we can have the best life possible and she delicately wove that in and I know it worked. While she’s not the most budget friendly, if I had to do it all over again I would choose just her. Lol. If you come across this lovely woman, it’s for a reason. Blessings to your future!

Corinne Sent on 12/13/2017Our experience with Naomi was wonderful. She gave us the most beautiful, centering ceremony that was all about us and our love, our families, friends and community. We were worried we wouldn't be able to find an officiant who would accommodate our wish that there was no religious or spiritual overtones, but Naomi really understood our preferences and delivered. Our wedding was in the redwoods, and she incorporated beautiful metaphors that tied the setting and environment into the ceremony. She also helped us find a non-religious ritual that involved all of our guests and gave us options to create a ring statement that fit for us. She also helped calm my partner, who was very nervous, and I know he appreciated that immensely. There wasn't a single person at the wedding who didn't comment on how romantic and lovely the ceremony was — many of our guests said it renewed or awakened their own love for their significant others. My father-in-law keeps mentioning how much he admired Naomi, and how she gave us the best ceremony he's ever seen. I highly recommend working with Naomi, and I recommend you bring her on as soon as possible to give time for her to get to know you and write you a beautiful custom ceremony. Thank you, Naomi!
