From the moment we chose this venue, we knew it was beautiful—but after experiencing our daughter’s wedding day there, we can honestly say it was so much more than a beautiful setting.

Every detail, every space, and every part of the day came together beautifully. The venue provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, while still allowing us to make the day completely our own. It was elegant, welcoming, impeccably maintained, and absolutely stunning from beginning to end.

What truly sets a great wedding venue apart, though, is the people behind it. The staff was professional, accommodating, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure the day went smoothly. On a day filled with a million moving pieces, having people you can trust is priceless.

Our daughter’s wedding was everything we hoped it would be—beautiful, joyful, unforgettable, and filled with the people we love most. This venue will forever be part of some of our family’s most treasured memories.

I had the best experience ever with Sandlewood Manor for my wedding this year in June. Of course the beauty of the venue speaks for itself, but the staff, organization and communication during the entire process was amazing. I loved that the venue was owned by a couple and not by a bigger company. I could feel that they truly cared about each client and wanted the process to be as stress free as possible for me. Macey specifically was amazing!

Sandlewood Manor is absolutely beautiful, every inch of this venue is filled with small details that make for the best pictures! The staff is also friendly, very attentive and accommodating. From the day we took the tour to our wedding day, everyone who assisted us was helpful and caring. Raquel took care of us as we neared our wedding day and saw us off the morning after our wedding (as we stayed the night). She is truly so sweet and was always quick to respond to any questions. We highly, highly recommend Sandlewood Manor!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Sandlewood Manor, and it was nothing short of magical! From the enchanting ambiance to the impeccable service, our special day was everything we had ever dreamed of.

Choosing a Thursday wedding was a fantastic decision to help save on costs, and Sandlewood Manor made it feel just as grand as a weekend celebration. The venue's team ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly, leaving us and our guests in awe.

We were encouraged to use their caterer, LaRue Catering & Events. We were given the option to bring in our own catering company for a buyout fee, but we chose to use LaRue and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic!

One thing to note is that outside liquor is not permitted, so we opted for their selection. While this was an initial concern for us, their offerings were extensive, and the quality was top-notch. The staff were all extremely friendly and on top of everything.

Overall, Sandlewood Manor provided a picturesque venue for our celebration. The venue's attention to detail, flexibility with vendors, and overall professionalism contributed to a beautiful and memorable event. We highly recommend Sandlewood Manor to any couple looking to create their own magical moments!

Wow! How to even make this review short... Sandlewood Manor was gorgeous and perfect for our wedding! The staff is extremely nice, respectful and thoughtful. They literally catered to all our needs. From the day we toured the place to even after the wedding! They are just so thoughtful and I can't say enough good things about them! The owners, staff and their catering were amazing. Shane was our coordinator and we loved her so much! She made sure we were always happy and well taken care of. I mean the whole land is breathtaking, you have to see it for yourself! We are forever obsessed with Sandlewood Manor!!!

We are beyond pleased with having our wedding at Sandlewood Manor! The grounds are absolutely STUNNING and very well kept, and the staff is very accommodating! It was the most magical day. I have had a few opportunities to work with the staff at Sandlewood Manor. The staff is not only attentive to the needs of our clients but has such impeccable skills to accommodate their special requests with such calm and ease. I must say, as a wedding planner, this venue is hands down one of the most beautiful properties I have experienced. Ladies, if you are looking for a beyond breathtaking wedding day, you must see this venue. The accommodations and beauty at Sandlewood are endless, as well as the photo opportunities to capture a lifetime of amazing memories! ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!!! The venue offered everything - plenty of getting-ready space, lots of picture opportunities, and a wonderful package. Our wedding was spectacular because of Sandlewood. If you are considering Sandlewood Manor, book them now with no hesitation! I recently got married here, and my experience was nothing short of amazing. The property is STUNNING and offers a plethora of opportunities for the outdoor wedding to the chapel wedding. Whatever your dream wedding looks like, there is a fit for it in one of the locations available for ceremonies at SWM. Not only will your wedding be breathtaking, but you will have the opportunity to work with some of the sweetest people! Shane was my venue concierge and was so helpful and prompt. She made the whole experience incredibly pleasant and made me confident that my wedding day was under control! Additionally, the security team and the cleanup crews were so sweet and friendly. They all made the environment warm and welcoming and all-around peaceful. Lastly, the venue's caterer, LaRue Catering & Events, was the perfect touch to our night! Their food was outstanding, and they worked with our needs to ensure our menu fit within our budget. Even on the lower end of a budget, they ensured quality was not compromised! Overall, choosing Sandlewood Manor was the best decision I made when planning my wedding. It was the most beautiful, stress-free day thanks to the Sandlewood Manor property and team!

I was hired by the couple to be their day of coordinator at Sandlewood Manor. First of all, the venue is breath taking. It has a beautiful 'Manor House' for bridal suite and downstairs cocktail. You also have the option of staying over night. The new chapel is perfect and they thought of everything with the restrooms at the front, as well as two double doors for the bride and whoever is walking her down the aisle to get prepped prior to walking down in the AC. It is a blank slate to be decorated however the couple sees fit. The manor house has a piano and the venue has a great recommendation for the player during cocktail hour. (The MOB from my wedding was so glad they added this at the last minute.)
The grooms cottage has a pool and they are able to grill and swim while they are hanging out, it is so nice they have their own space that is not a closet (like a lot of other venues). It is also nice that it is not in the same building as the bride so she can freely walk around the Manor House. The 'Barn' as they called the big reception space is anything but a barn. The chandeliers are to die for and the venue provides all tables and chairs as well as set up and break down of them according to the floor plan you send. The venue comes with staff and if you thought I was babbling before, hold on to your seats! THE STAFF HERE IS AMAZING. The catering staff, the bar staff, the venue staff TRULY went above and beyond on every. single. front.
I want to give a very special shout out to Laura, the venue coordinator, for her attentiveness and responsiveness. She is super easy to get along with and very personable. She helped with everything on the venue side and was there anytime I had a quick question or needed anything.

I booked Sandlewood for my April 2020 wedding back in October 2018, before they were even officially open. I made plans to visit numerous venues, but as soon as we drove up to Sandlewood, I knew I had to cancel all my other appointments. This venue is GORGEOUS! A Greek-revival style manor house on 27 acres, a pool, a lake and fountain, and horses? Yes Please! We went home and immediately booked our date. Having never planned such a large event in my life, I asked for some vendor recommendations. Not only did Sandlewood present numerous vendors, but offered many in-house services which really put me at ease. Additionally, it was through Sandlewood's recommended vendors that I found my amazing wedding planner. Already, I knew Sandlewood was going to be a GREAT venue. As luck would have it, after almost a year and a half of planning, just as invitation RSVPs started rolling in for my wedding, the COVID19 Pandemic hit the United States with a Fury. Sandlewood worked with me to move my date, and completely accommodate all the last minute changes, including significantly reduced headcount, and exceed both state guideline recommendations and my own safety protocols for a spaced seated dinner for a MUCH smaller and now outdoor wedding. Laura was my main point of contact. She was so amazing, patient, and on top of everything. I understand many vendors felt financial losses due to COVID, but I was treated with the same professionalism when I was planning my large wedding, as I was the more intimate wedding. While there were some changes with venue procedures in the 2 years between booking the venue and the actual event, Shawn and Lauren were nothing but accommodating and helpful. For the actual event, the staff was a dream to work with - everything went smoothly, and the in-house caterers, LaRue Catering, was so DELICIOUS! We had numerous guests tell us they have never had such a delicious meal in their entire life, and that's an understatement. I highly recommend Sandlewood Manor!

Sandlewood Manor is truly by far the most breathtaking and unique wedding venue in the Houston, Texas area! From the moment I first drove up to it, I knew that this was THE place I always dreamed of getting married at. You start off with the beautiful manor house at the very front but once you enter the ballroom in the back, your breath gets taken away completely! All of our guests cannot and will never stop talking about our wedding because of how beautiful the setting itself was! To top everything off; the day of the wedding couldn't have been more perfect! The staff members are top notch! Servers were on top of their game making sure all guest were taken care of at all times, the chef accommodated several unexpected dietary restrictions for several of our guests and delivered a delicious meal for all of us, their cleaning staff was on top of everything at all times, their bartenders were their friendliest and served up drinks all night long and very responsibly, their security team was also the very best & their valet service made sure that every single one of our guest was good to go home safely! By far couldn't have asked for a better wedding day; it was a true dream come true and most definitely the wedding of my dreams! I want to send a special shout out to Laura, Sandlewood's Concierge/Coordinator, she was the sweetest and made sure that my day was PERFECT! She guided us for months up until the the day of our wedding. The day of the wedding she assisted my wedding planner all day and made sure that not only was everything perfect for the wedding ceremony and reception but even went out of her way to fluff my dress as I began walking down the aisle. Again, thank you to everyone who took part in our wedding! It will be a day I will never forget!

What an incredible venue! My husband and I couldn’t have picked a more beautiful setting for the most incredible day of our lives. Sandlewood's team was so easy to work with, they were always available and answered any questions I had. The property is absolutely gorgeous, you don’t need much to enhance it’s beauty. There are many great options for the ceremony locations. We had ours in the pecan orchard which provided the guests with plenty of shade and a beautiful backdrop of the manor house. The cocktail hour in the manor house was gorgeous, everyone commented on how beautiful and unique it was! The bridal suite that is perfect for getting ready with you and your bridesmaids. The groom's quarters were great for my husband and his groomsmen to spend the day in, they have plenty of activities for them. The ballroom is stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. You won’t be disappointed with this venue! Our wedding was truly everything we wanted it to be and more thanks to Sandlewood Manor!

Buyer Beware!! We toured the venue and were told only a contract would hold the date. On the day we were communicating with sales manager about specific date, we asked to be sent a contract. After thinking we had the date, we were told someone placed a soft hold on the date that evening. Since this wasn’t supposed to be allowed, we argued that we were first and should honor us first. They wouldn’t honor our request and gave our date right out from under us to the other party the next day. Great lack of integrity and following their own rules. Wouldn’t recommend
