I could not have asked for more. Sand Point's service and attention to detail were incredible. Julie, the Banquet Manager, was the consummate professional. She didn't stop working until everything was beyond perfect. Whether it was the food, the liquor, or the room arrangement, she was on top of it, always coming up with ideas to make things better. She was also very pleasant to work with, and communicated promptly with us. All our guests LOVED our reception at Sand Point, which went without a hitch! They were all very impressed.

Sand Point Count Club is wonderful to work with for planning our wedding! Amy is in charge of events and knows how to plan weddings and great ideas. My fiancé and I meet with her once and were able to set up a timeline for the event, tentative menu, and seating layout. She was wonderful and emailed us a tentative invoice with everything included so there were no hidden fees or surprises. When making the invoice she did not pick the least or most expensive items, but rather an average cost and then provided us with a complete menu with the costs of the foods, and was willing to work with us.
My only complaint would be when initially contacting her she did not return phone calls in a timely manner, but emails were a lot better. She is very busy doing many events, especially during the summer.
I would highly encourage working with her since she is knowledgeable and willing to work around any situation, even out of town.
The reception was perfect, went off without a hitch, and everyone said this is the best wedding and most magical, best bang for your buck too!

We had our wedding at Sand Point Country Club in March of 2017, and it went off without a hitch. The Events Manager, Julie Watson, is amazing, absolutely amazing. Her communication leading up to the big day was always prompt, and answered all of our questions. They have an amazing catering menu already, but I am Italian, so we had some specific food requests. They incorporated a manicotti course, and all of my Italian relatives still gush about how good it was--not easy to impress us! We were also able to bring in all of our dessert items, including a cake, homemade Italian desserts, and cheesecake. We bought Costco cheesecakes and had Julie and staff slice and prepare with cherry topping, and everything looked and tasted beautiful. I don't think I ever heard Julie tell me no to anything. She also acted as the 'day-of coordinator'and checked on us throughout the day and ensured we stayed on schedule. They have a gorgeous, updated women's locker room that we used to get ready, and it has a wonderful room with a full wall of windows which was great for makeup application. The serving staff was professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our guests were taken care of. They have great bar options--we ended up purchasing beer and wine from them directly, and brought in our own champagne and paid a small corkage fee. The grounds are beautiful, and made for some amazing pictures. From the dining room you have expansive views of Lake Washington on one side, and the lush golf course on the other. Our guests loved the bar and patio space as well. One of the best things in my opinion, is that you get the whole country club, rather than once specific room. We had cocktails in the bar/patio and reception in the dining room. We had use of both locker rooms, as well as the 'board room' to store things in and have a quick lunch before our ceremony. I honestly cannot say enough about this venue or the people that work events--they made our day perfect.

Sand Point Country Club is an amazing venue to host a wedding! The location is stunning, with views of Lake Washington and the cascades. The club house is set at a high elevation so you have a spectacular backdrop for all your photos. The club house itself is enormous and you get the entire place to yourself during the event.

We spent the morning getting ready at the clubhouse. The staff was very accommodating as we prepared in the locker rooms. We choose to have the ceremony out side on the deck facing the water- spectacular! The cocktail hour takes place on the above deck/bar (also views). There is a full selection of beverages and they are very accommodating of signature drink preferences.

The main dining room is beautiful with gorgeous crown molding, two fireplaces, windows views and chandeliers. They provide all the linens, silverware, votives, etc. The room can accommodate up to 200 people. The staff will do whatever place settings you want. You have an option of buffet or seated dinner. The food was fantastic and the service was prompt. Many guests told us it was the best wedding food they ever had.

The best part about this venue was the wedding coordinator Amy. She is so on top of everything. When looking at different venues in the area we were immediately sold on Sand Point because of her. We knew she was someone we could absolutely trust on our big day. She is very detail oriented and is very practical. She never once pressured us to do something and would accommodate any request we had. You can tell that she runs a very tight ship at Sand Point for their members and them same applies to weddings.

The only downsides this venue were: few nearby hotels, they only do ~20 weddings a year (open to non members), so you have to book quickly, and the members were stand-offish when they passed through the locker room earlier in the day. Other than that for the price, location and service team, you can't find a better country club to host a wedding!
