A Beautiful Winter Wedding 2025

Sand Castle is absolutely beautiful and the staff is amazing. Our wedding was a month ago and everything turned out even better than as planned! Everyone had a great time and loved the food! There is absolutely no better feeling than to hear endless compliments from guests and it is all thanks to Sand Castle. We wish we could relive the day. Loula and Frank are absolutely the kindest most helpful people you can ever come across. We are so thankful for them and all of the staff at Sand Castle for making our special day truly magical. Couldn't recommend this venue more!

OOne Of The Best Weddings I have ever been to. And I am old. I am 82 years old

I cannot say enough about the very positive review I can give. If I could give it 10 stars I would. From the moment my husband and I walked in I could feel the very positive ambience. I had a good feeling as soon as I crossed the threshold. We arrived very early as we came directly from the church and the bridal party arrived shortly after us but they went directly to the MAGNIFICENT garden to take photos. A very nice female who I imagine was either a manager or related to the owner asked us if we needed anything. And could she give us a cup of coffee? Of course, we happily agreed. The coffee was very good, by the way. You could tell it was fresh. From the cocktail hour to the Viennese hour, everything was perfect. The food was outstanding. I had a filet mignon and you could cut it with a fork. Several people at our table had the lamb chops and they too said they were delicious. As far as the wait staff, everyone was friendly and accommodating. This venue could not do enough to keep us happy. And talk about cleanliness? You could eat off the bathroom floor. And how very SMART was the person who designed the main ballroom. Keeping the DJ far away from the first tables where the immediate family was was very far from the music. In conclusion, we highly recommend Sand Castle for your special day. I could find nothing negative to say about it. Thank you to the team at Sand Castle for helping make our wedding day a memorable and joyous occasion! Sorry I have no photos to upload, but the venue's garden pictures should be enough to sell you.

Amazing!!!

Special thanks to the entire team at Sand Castle. Everyone was and continues to be so amazing. From the start of venue tour until the very end when our event was over. Words can not even express my husband and my sincerest gratitude. Special thank you to Emily and Justin. My wedding guest arrived still talking about how wonderful and attentive they were. Thank you to you both. Also Special thank you to Jamie. Although we had limited communication, when I reached out to her, she answered every question and made sure everything got done. Marten, also was so amazing. He is so friendly. He made my family, feel so welcomed. He was so attentive to my nieces (flowergirls). During the rehearsal he took time with my nieces to show them what the had to do. Frank, Mr. Smooth himself, he made sure those tiny details we didn't think about were added. The details I did think about and wasn't sure how to pull off, he had a solution. Thanks Frank. The ultimate THANK YOU to Loula. Words truly can not express our genuine gratitude. She answered every question, every concern. She put out any fires that came up. She literally works 24/7, on vacation, on her days off. Loula we love and appreciate you so much. We are so glad we chose this amazing place to have our wedding. 4 weeks later and our guest are still talking about our wedding. Thank you again to the entire Sand Castle team.

5 Star Hidden Gem in the Heart of Long Island

We had our wedding in April 2022 at The Sand Castle Venue. Having over 15 years of event planning experience working with venues for corporate dinners/events, by far this establishment has the most amazing and professional management and staff that go above and beyond. From the executive team Moe, Loula, to the bridal assistants, Joanna and Patty all were truly stellar and the entire team worked hard to deliver flawless execution. Many of our guests were from Long Island and lived locally and had never attended a wedding here. However, in the words of one of the local residents/guests she believed this to be a hidden gem in the heart of Long Island. She still talks about the freshness of the seafood in our raw bar at the cocktail hour. While we knew that it would be challenging for the majority of the guests to travel in from out of state and out of the country, despite Covid, the wedding was an overall success. The food and Viennese Hour is more than enough reason to book this venue. We highly recommend a wedding at SandCastle. The bonus is the unique space, and the people; the employees truly love what they do and care about making your wedding exceptional and a memorable experience for all! Our guests still rave about the Viennese Hour- truly outstanding- I would give Moe and his team a 10/10. The owner also owns properties in Greece (Crete, Solimar Aquamarine). It is clear that both of these establishments are operated by management that delivers high quality and hospitality is the utmost priority. We hope our recently engaged friends get married here so we can enjoy another wedding again, this time as a guest! :)

Best Venue on Long Island

Could not ask for a better venue! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The Sand Castle staff took care of everything from the first minute until the last. We were free to enjoy the party with no worries. Everything was handled by them. The flow of the party was great. The guests commented repeatedly that they loved everything about the Sand Castle! I will be recommending it to friends and family! Thank you for making my daughter’s wedding everything we had hoped it would be.

Everything about Sand Castle is PHENOMENAL!!!

Sand Castle is hands down THE BEST! Like nothing we have ever experienced before. I have had FOUR different wedding dates thanks to COVID and then also got pregnant in the midst of all the rescheduling. Sand Castle and Moe still handled everything and was able to accommodate all changes even throughout the craziness of the pandemic and all of the ever changing COVID mandates and restrictions. We were the last rescheduled wedding due to COVID and we went out with a bang! Everything about this place is phenomenal!!! Do not underestimate how important ONE WEDDING at a time is. That means their staff is only focused on you and your loved ones. They are AMAZING! I cannot say that enough. The venue, the food, their vendors (Genesis Event and Camelot Limousines) all excellent. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Our family and friends keep telling us our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to. They even give you food to take home. And I mean A LOT of food (not just the Bride and Groom’s entrees). We love Sand Castle. We’d throw any event there anytime! Now we can only hope someone we know gets married there so we can go back as guests.

Many guests said we had the best wedding ever!

Leave it to Sand Castle for the best night of your life! My husband and I are so happy that we picked Sand Castle and it was an easy choice. We felt welcomed from the moment we contacted Sand Castle. Loula was very helpful and responsive to all our questions and concerns. Then we met Mohamed three weeks prior to the big day. He assisted us with the planning and made sure we had everything together. Thankfully, he was also very responsive via email. He actually surprised us on our wedding day with a refund for a few people who couldn't show up last minute, so we were super appreciative of that!

We actually had a very hectic morning/afternoon on our wedding day, getting ready and celebrating with all the Chinese traditions. But once we entered Sand Castle, it was like all our worries withered away! As a matter of fact, my mom, dad, and brother actually got into a fender bender on their way to the venue and the driver didn't want to continue driving them to the venue. When Mohamed heard about it, he offered his car and said we can use it to go pick them up. We didn't use his car and two of our groomsmen went to get them, but I was so appreciative of the gesture.

Once we walked into the bridal suite, I was approached by the bridal attendant, Pattie. She helped me relax and calmed my nerves. She helped me position my dress and veil for the photographer and my dress looked amazing in the photos! Everyone was super attentive and detail-oriented. We definitely felt pampered. They did their absolute best to make sure we were fed and drinking!! That brings me to the food. Although, I wasn't able to eat a lot of it, my guests all told us that the food at the venue was AMAZING. I actually got my dinner to-go and ate it the next day. It was still super delicious! We also had so much dessert left over from the Viennese and they packed it all for us. Our guests were also able to pack some home. The bar was also top-shelf and they served tasty cocktails! I have gone to a number of weddings/galas where the food was mediocre because the food were made in batches, but you will not have that experience at Sand Castle! Your guests will be well fed with an abundance of food during the cocktail hour and reception. They will most definitely enjoy their food!

Lastly, I want to mention that we were offered a honeymoon package for Crete. Jamie helped us every step of the way with that process! :)
Everyone there were so kind and helpful. They truly know how to make you feel like royalty! Highly recommend you check out Sand Castle! :) I was already recommending it to other couples at my wedding!! The wedding was more than 3 months ago, but people are still talking about it, saying it's the best wedding they've ever been to!

This is where you get married

Sandcastle was beyond a 10/10. They were incredible on all fronts. The flexbility, attention to detail, friendliness, extra touches, staff patience and professionalism and the coordination was all top notch. The food and venue were to die for and the decorations came out beautifully. I cannot say how amazing this place was and how highly we would recommend them. Joanna in particular is one of the bridal attendants and she was fantastic. This is the place to get married!

Elegance and attentiveness at its finest!

Where do I even begin ! From the minute my now husband and I walked in the doors , we were treated like royalty . This one wedding at a time venue is truly beyond words . The decor , food and staff are amazing beyond measure . To Loula , Mohammed , Lukas , Pattie , Ricky and all the others behind the scenes who made our day so spectacular, thank you !! It rained and my ceremony had to be moved , and everyone made it happen for me . It was gorgeous ! The cocktail hour was amazing and Naveed and I couldn’t believe how attentive everyone was . If you want a gorgeous place with great food , a gorgeous ambiance and beyond excellent staff , BOOK HERE !! My guests are still raving days later . AMAZING! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a LI wedding venue

You cannot imagine the love I have for this place. When my husband and I started looking for venues, Sand Castle was on our radar but not our “main” pick. We toured about 4-5 places and when my husband asked to go back to see it again; I knew it was the one. I don’t think I have a single bad thing to say. During the pandemic, Moe, the banquet director was amazing in getting us a new date on a weekend like we originally wanted and honoring the rates we booked in 2017/2018. They were always happy to answer our questions and honestly never bothered us which I love. They are so good at what they do. They Day was so beautiful. The grounds were amazing, everything was clean and exactly how they described it. And the food 😍😋 oh my goodness. We still have friends and family still telling us the food was so good. We took some home to enjoy (since both my hubby and I didn’t eat much) and it was as delicious as when we had our tasting. The staff was all amazing including bridal attendants & maitre ds (Joanna and Patti & Ricky and Lucas). All of them were checking in with my husband and I, letting us eat eating even a little to enjoy it and making us laugh when we took a couple of minutes of quiet. At the end of the night we really didn't want to leave! They also were kind enough to pack all my things and let us pick up later in the afternoon the next day; so our families weren’t burdened with taking things out of the venue the night of the wedding. This venue was the least stress from this whole thing and I’d recommend to anyone!!!!!! I want to be a guest there soon.

Sand Castle makes your dreams come true!

Without hesitation, if I had a chance to "re-do" my wedding day, I would pick the Sand Castle venue again and again. I cannot rave more about how perfect the staff at the Sand Castle made our day. Everyone was so professional, attentive, and made us feel like a King and Queen. Picking the Sand Castle was our best and easiest decision. I just hope in the future, we get invited to a Sand Castle wedding so we can enjoy the experience as guests as well!!

Wonderful team and beautiful venue!

I loved working with Jamie and Mohammed. Everything was explained very thoroughly and they reminded us of things we never thought of. They were also very patient with us and helped us keep deadlines for every step of the way until our wedding. On the day of, the staffs were all so enthusiastic and friendly. I’ve been to weddings where staffs were constantly chit chatting and can really ruin guests’ experiences, but I’m proud to say sand castle is not one of those places. Everyone was very professional towards my guests and tried to meet everyone’s needs. The venue itself was beautiful. There are a lot of places to take pictures. Also this place only holds one wedding at a time which makes your day even more special. Love them!

Amazing Wedding Experience

Sand Castle surpassed our expectations of having an amazing wedding! They were able to handle our high guest count of 350 with ease and professionalism. The Best Wedding Ever - Cannot Be Topped in Everyway!

Does it sound crazy to say that I had no stress on my wedding day? Well, sandcastle provided just that!! From our first walk through of the venue, which literally blew us away and offered every aspect of our dream wedding that we could want, to our final wave from the Rolls Royce (also provided by sandcastle!), our wedding was a 100/100!!!

The venue is stunning for a daytime wedding, with elaborate tropical gardens, outdoor floors are swept super clean, and the staff is constantly at your beck and call from prewedding photos to your final exit. Elaborate fountains are turned on and they even roll out the white carpet for you. Even if it rains, theres a covered outdoor (with glass ceilings) and beautiful furniture and settings inside for photos. your day cannot even be ruined by weather at all - aka NO STRESS!!

The food is AMAZING! and it never ends. your guests have never experienced something like this in their life, and no other wedding will compare after attending yours! Its presented beautifully and bountifully, in 5 star fashion. 1.5 hour cocktail hour, a bar that drops from the ceiling!, 12 cart viennese dessert, choice of 7 different entrees cooked to order, bottles of wine at every table with personal waiters for every table, FULL BARS (you want a fresh pina colada with a side of hypnotic, parrot bay, malibu, grey goose, ANYTHING - ALL TOP SHELF - ALL READY FOR YOUR GUESTS!), AND MORE..cant even list it all.

our dj was genesis, recommended by sandcastle, also great!!! our florist, maria lo events, also recommended by sandcastle, was a 10/10 too!
the bridal suites are amazing and they wait on you in there as well with champagne and every food imaginable! so romantic!

staff actually smiles genuinly and you dont feel as if theyre forced to be "at work." compared to other hotel weddings i have attended, its refreshing to feel that you literally can ask them anything and they will do it with a smile.
they even put the train on my wedding dress up in a snap, and the personal bridal attendants you have is so luxurious!

they also wont even touch your money box, but make you pour it into a bag yourself - 100% trustworthy in every aspect!
everything i asked for was above and beyond! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! now.. can someone else get married at sandcastle so i can go as a guest :) :) ???!!!!

The Best Venue!

I can not begin to stress how amazing our experience with Sand Castle was from start to finish. From our initial appointment which we walked into on a whim while driving on Franklin Avenue, they didn't pressure us at all to lock in a deal that day. We communicated with them the following week to set up a tasting and left a deposit. They were very flexible when it came to the payment plan for us and its a great way to pay as you go while not breaking the bank all at once. Once you've reached half of your guaranteed amount, the rest is then due the date of your finals appointment, usually a week before the wedding. While the venue itself is beautiful, the food really sold us on this place. Your guests will not leave hungry, and they will be raving about the food for weeks after the party is over. With the variety of entrees they offer after the one of a kind cocktail hour and then the dessert, I'm still thinking about it. We went home with food for the following week which was great as we didn't have to cook before leaving for our honeymoon. This place is an honest and spectacular venue that I'd recommend to anybody. You can pass this place and think its nothing, but if you're getting married on Long Island do yourself a favor and stop in here along your venue search. You will not be disappointed.

This was a dream come true! My wedding was amazing! Everyone at Sand Castle made me and my husband feel so special! Muhammad is awesome! He made sure everything went well. Emily is truly fantastic! Sand Castle is truly one of the best venues I have ever been to!!! My husband and I recently got married on August 25, 2018 and we chose Sand Castle as our venue. I can not explain how deeply happy we were that we chose them, I have not even one negative thing to say about them, they are just amazing. They went over and beyond to make our day extremely special. They even put the sugar flowers, that my sister and I made, on our wedding cake for us..and they did it perfectly!! A wedding can be extremely stressful with all the planning and obsessing to get everything perfect, but having Sand Castle as our venue took off so much stress, we are extremely thankful. They took care of anything and everything we wanted, when we had an idea they made it a reality - even better than we could have imagined it! I URGE you to check them out if you are getting married, you will not be disappointed. Dina, Mohamed, and Will are just some of the amazing team they have at Sand Castle working to make your day the most unforgettable, beautiful, blissful day you can truly ever imagine. Even the day of the wedding we had an amazing team, Lucas, Joe my bridal attendant Janin, and all of the amazing waiters all working together to make the day smooth and perfect. Sand Castle also has so much to offer, we used their beautiful centerpieces, added on the unique martini bar (that comes from above the ceiling) with our signature drinks that Sand Castle helped us with, took advantage of the discounted Rolls Royce price they offer to take you anywhere you want for the whole day of the wedding, and we worked with them to create a perfect cocktail hour! All of our guests still can not stop raving about how special that day was. I can go on and on about this venue, because I was truly blown away with their kindness, care, and perfection!! We are so happy we chose Sand Castle for our wedding! <3

Sand Castle created the "Circle of Love" theme for our wedding, and it was amazing. Even though it rained, Sand Castle recreated our outdoor garden theme, and brought it inside because of the rain. The Imperial wedding menu comes with seven wonderful entrees. Every food course on the menu was amazing, and the staff was warm, loving, and amazing as well. This was one of the best days of my life. Working with Lola Argyris, Mohamed Kessba, and Dina Vlamakis was an amazing and great experience. The warmest, and professional people you could ever ask for to be in charge over your wedding, at the venue. My husband and I just got married at The Sand Castle on August 5th, 2018 and we can not even describe the wonderful and amazing experience we had. We even say now that we miss it and would do it all over again with the sand castle. Once we stepped in the beautiful venue last June we knew right away that this was the place for us. Loula, Mohamed, and our florist at the sand castle Maria were so so great to work with, they truly felt like family. They really made every effort to make our dream wedding come true. It was all perfect and straight out of a fairytale!! The service was superb and all the staff were very organized, detailed, coordinated, and accommodated all our needs. Maria the sand castle's florist did such an incredible job with our decorations (center pieces, chuppa, menus, table cloths, and chairs) it was so beautiful and very detail oriented, she really took what I have always imagined and created a fairytale garden in which we got married. The food was also sooo amazing and we loved that it was family style, our guests were even able to take their food to go for the next day. I want to thank the sand castle venue especially Loula, Mohammad,Maria and our bridal assistants Patti and Ricky from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work, effort, and care to create our fairy tale dream wedding. It was everything we have always imagined and more!! Thank you so much and miss you guys already!!

We had our wedding Sunday April 15, 2018 and we are still overwhelmed the absolute best. Our guest are still sending us video and pics . OMG! We just had our wedding three days ago and we have heard nothing but great things from our guests about our wedding that it was the best they've been to and full of surprises and they could not get over the abundance of food and fun! The Maitre'd and attendants were incredibly amazing. Even our guests said how the staff service was superb. Loula and Moe took care of everything for us in the planning process and made sure everything ran smoothly. We are beyond happy that Sand Castle helped create the wedding of our dreams and much more. I never thought I could have a wedding reception as nice as this one. It was just WOW! From the martini bar with signature drinks, to grand entrance and everything in between, we amazed each and every guest. I'm still in awe of what a great cocktail hour and reception it was. And the vienesse dessert tables-- perfect way to end the night! Thank you to everyone who helped make our day as perfect as it can be! And shout out to Joanna for doing my bustle in under a minute where it would've taken my maid of honors about 10 minutes! LOL

Just like that it’s been five months since our amazing wedding (July 28, 2017). I’ve been trying to find all the right things to say because I’m still speechless because our wedding was everything we have ever wanted and more.
We cannot say enough great things about Sand Castle. From the minute we walked into the venue and met with Loula it felt meant to be. Loula made sure to make our planning process smooth and easy, she answered our hundredths of questions and was very informative. Mohamed (Moe) is the BEST of the best. He went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was incorporated into the wedding. We had two ice sculptures (we were so undecided on one) shout out to him for making that happen.
The day of the wedding Sand Castle exceed our expectations. My team for the night was amazing. Huge THANK YOU to these awesome Maitred’s (Lukas, Joe) and Bridal Attendants (Joanna , Ricky). Joanna is a jack of all traits, from sewing the train of my dress to sewing my garter, making sure I ate and tending to my every need, she’s the bomb!
From the service, hospitality room (started earlier than scheduled), decor, food (cocktail hour, seafood boat, 7main courses), drinks (martini bar, three signature drinks) and dessert hour (12 dessert tables, chocolate fountain and more) my wedding is still talked about to this day. Trust me you will make the right decision picking Sand Castle to make your dream wedding reality. I highly recommend Sand Castle to anyone looking to

I don't even know where to start! My husband and I had our wedding reception September 16, 2017 and it was absolutely perfect. This place is AMAZING. They exceeded all of my hopes and dreams. The staff was SO attentive and helpful all night long, not just to me and my husband but to ALL the guests! The food was absolutely delicious. WOW... What can I say I had my wedding here on 06/07/2017 and the attention to detail was off the charts. The food and decor were impeccable. The professionalism was exceptional from viewing the venue to my wedding day. I truly felt like a queen on my special day. I have to say I was truly pleased and till this day my guests are raving about how beautiful my wedding was, how much fun they had and how delicious the food was. It is one of the BEST wedding that have ever attended. My guest had the option of taking leftovers home which was a great idea because the food will not go to waste ( I never attended a wedding reception that offered me that) . The funny thing is Sand Castle was not our original venue I had book another local venue (which I loved) but when thing went south and that was my cue to go . So, I asked my husband if we can look at another venue and Sand Castle was on top of my list. Boy oh boy my husband and I were very pleased. From the minute we step inside I fell in love with the space, Will, Loula and Staff were great. I can't forget about Mohamed he is SUPERB he made sure we had everything in order and was set for the day. He is very nice and pleasant whatever I requested he made sure he was able to deliver it without a doubt. Most importantly, I felt stress free with my wedding and I have the Sand Castle team to thank for that. If I had to do it all over again I would still choose Sand Castle. If your looking to have your wedding just somewhere then keep looking, BUT if you want your wedding to be somewhere AMAZING well then my friend you HAVE to go see Loula, Moe and the entire Sand Castle Staff!
Simple put, the service and food was unbelievable!! Coming from a family who owns multiple restaurants on Long Island we know food! The filet migon is by far the best I've ever had at a catering hall by far, and most of our guest said the same.
Their service and attentiveness of the entire staff was simply unremarkable. They all were truly hospitable and professional and go way above and beyond! Joe and Lucas rock!!
The "stressful" process of planing a wedding is completely taken away the minute you sit with Loula and or Moe! They make the process fun and enjoyable.
So if you want your guest's to message or call you two weeks after your wedding to say that the food, ambiance, cocktail hour AND a half, Viennese hour, drinks, service was the best they have been to and better than their wedding then call the Sand Castle Rignt Now!!!!

I truly don't even know where to start when I want to talk about Sand Castle. I think of my wedding day and that beautiful place we celebrated our reception and I instantly smile. There are only good things to say about SC. From the minute my husband and I walked into SC we knew it was the place to book. We met with Loula, and we knew we were in good hands! We were so excited! When that day came, every detail, every single thing we wanted and worked so hard to envision... Came to life. I did not have to worry about a thing. SC is without a doubt the BEST venue to have your celebration. Everyone is still raving about our beautiful wedding....From the maitre D's, to the bridal attendants, to the servers who were fabulous! The amount of delicious food, us Italians can eat! lol The place and grounds itself are just stunning! Words truly cannot express how AMAZING this venue and the staff are. From the moment we booked to the end of our wedding night, Sand Castle went above and beyond to make our wedding flawless. The hard work and dedication of the staff was evident and every detail of our wedding planning was executed perfectly. The venue was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious, and the staff catered to our guests' every need. My bridal attendant Monica was by my side through the night, attending to my dress, hair, and makeup. Loula was always readily available to help us with decorative details and great advice. While every member of the Sand Castle team was truly incredible, I must commend Mohamed specifically for being our rock throughout the planning of our event. He answered every email and phone call promptly, patiently answering any questions and addressing any concerns we had, and he really went out of his way to make us feel like a top priority at all times. There arent enough stars here for the absolutely outstanding service, quality, etc etc etc that the Sand Castle provided for my wedding on 7/2/16. From day 1 of planning they made my experience absolutely easy, stressfree & pleasant. Mohamed went beyond above the call of duty to make my wedding day amazing. He is such a delight to work with, truly cares about his clients..you dont find that experience many other places. The Sand Castle is the most underrated gem of a wedding venue that people need to know about. The food superceeded expectation, as well as the service from all involved in the day. The viennese hour will be talked about for years to come, i was blown away by how amazing of a job they did. & the to go food they wrapped up for us will feed us dinner for a month. Impeccable is the word that comes to mind as I write this review for Sand Castle. We used them for our wedding and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing they were. From start to finish, 100% professional, accommodating, fantastic, amazing!!!! The planning process as all brides know, is very tedious and stressful, but Sand Castle takes the pressure off and helps you execute everything with precision. Loula is the first person you meet with once you book the hall, she is so friendly and so helpful with recommending vendors, timelines, etc. Mohammed is the director of operations and you deal with him the last 6 weeks when all the last minute details need to be done. He was also so helpful, informative, and simply amazing when it came to the seating cards, favors, photo booth props, etc. I was able to drop everything off and the staff took care of EVERYTHING when it came to setting up the hall. It looked AMAZING when we got there the day of.
The bridal attendants, Maitre-dees, and Mohammed were so on top of everything on the day of our wedding we didn't have to worry about a single thing besides having the best night of our lives. They made sure all our guests were accommodated with drinks, food, etc. My bridal attendants were UNBELIEVABLE - anything my husband and I wanted, we had. Drinks, food, help with my dress, anything and I mean anything, they helped us with! They made sure we didnt have to want or need for anything, one drink was finished and they were right there with another one! The night went off without a glitch thanks to the absolutely flawless staff at Sand Castle. Lets talk about the food - the food was the best I have ever had at a wedding! The dinner food was also amazing, 7 different options! Sand Castle provided us with the wedding of our dreams!!!

Sand Castle was the first reception venue we saw last August. Loula greeted us with a smile and treated us to mimosas while she showed us around. She even met with us an hour earlier than our appointment. I love the fact that her office has a big screen where she showed us the calendar. She also used it to show photos of previous events at the venue and it gave us a feel of how they cater. The Imperial menu they offered us was top notch. The selection was big so it catered to everyone who would want seafood, meat, veggies etc. I love that they have recommended cake vendor because we didn't have to go searching! They were flexible with their payment plans and we were even able to negotiate the price down! Loula was awesome! They even had a white party for couples who booked with them to showcase their recommended vendors - we didn't book with all their recommended vendors but i'm sure brides who did were relieved they did.

The follow up meetings were done with Moe and boy did he make it all easy for us. He gave us a checklist of things to bring to make sure we didn't forget a thing for our reception, the logistics and the team who'll take care of us. On the day of the wedding, he made sure that we weren't hungry. Our food was waiting for us at the bridal suite - pretty sweet!

We checked other venues to compare but Sand Castle pretty much set the bar (the other one was very small for what we have planned and the other location had two other banquet halls which means bumping into other guests we didn't know). We're so glad we booked with them because my friends and family are still talking about it 3 weeks after our wedding has happened! No one left with an empty stomach and we even got to take the 'doggie bags' home! I hope some of our friends book this venue too so we can relive our wedding memories!

This venue was perfect! people would not stop talking about my wedding! Many are saying the best they have been to in years! This venue is stunning on the inside and the outside. It rained on my wedding day and the ceremony was indoors in the upper atrium, it didn't even matter because the space made it feel as if it was outdoors. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful they were ready to help with anything we needed. The food was phenomenal! We were even aloud seconds of another choice! The centerpieces were provided and were stunning! The Sand Castle made my dreams come true and was very hassle - free. You have nothing to worry about if your wedding is here because there is no way it can go anything but perfect!

I LOVED our venue and everyone at Sand Castle. From the moment we toured the facility with Loula, to working out the details with Mohamed, and then being cared for by Lukas and Joanna on the day of, we were always in great hands! They made me feel at ease about the whole day during the planning process and if I asked for something to be moved or to be done on the day of, Lukas made sure it was done right away, I never had to ask twice. Exceptional service!

I knew that we had chosen the right venue when my guests kept telling me how good the food was and how full they were throughout the night. They were all so happy and I knew it was because of everyone at Sand Castle. Having been to so many weddings around Long Island, Sand Castle offers some unique elements to keep their guests happy and entertained. From the chilled seafood boat (its as large as a real boat, for real!), martini bar, to the grand entrance at the reception, there's a fun element to it all. We wanted our day to be fun, and Sand Castle was able to provide that for us and our guests.

Now I just need one of my friends to get married there so that I can actually enjoy it as a guest and see it from their point of view!! Can someone invite me to their wedding please? :D

Mohammed is a pleasure to work with- he helped plan every detail and I'm an organized freak show so he did a great job tending to my every need. The venue provides almost everything you could possibly need- centerpieces, etc, but I brought my own pumpkins and candles and they helped unload our Uhaul the week before the wedding and set everything up exactly as I requested. Lucas was incredible the entire time- following me (the bride) and my mother around attending to our every need. My mom keeps joking she wants to marry him! lol We couldn't have asked for a better staff- except for one bartender who made a few stupid remarks to me- but honestly nothing could have spoiled the night. I recommend the sand castle to anyone! My friends and family were blown away by the quality and quantity of the food! It was all spectacular. I miss the sand castle staff already! lol.

I want to start of by saying, I have been to many wedding venue on Long Island! I recently had my wedding here and it was phenomenal! From the first time I walked into Sand Castle I was amazed, the entire staff is so accommodating! After my tour I was very impressed, the grounds are breathtaking, the menu food options is ridiculous! I have never been to a hall with so much food. Leading up to my wedding I was so happy with the service, everyone felt like family. At my final meeting I met with Mohammed, he answered all of my questions and he made sure all of my requests were fulfilled! The day of I was blown away, everything I asked was delivered. They made us feel like King and Queen on our wedding day. I wish I can go back to Sand Castle to attend as a guest!!! I am still getting phone calls from family and friends, saying they had the best time and loved the food and service. I also have to thank, Dina & Loula, who were always there to answer my questions and help me whenever I needed anything. If you want a hassle free wedding this is the place you're looking for. I've been to at least 5 wedding venues and this stands out coz all you need is a photographer and a DJ-that's all! Big ballroom space. Ceremony grounds and decor are beautiful. Red carpet entrance for guests is unique. The Cocktail area is gorgeous. I heard the food is great and dessert presentation is like no other. Contact Loula coz she's amazing: very accommodating, thorough in explaining, responds quickly and easy to work with. Bride, all you need to do is just show up with the bouquet --that's it! Their tall manzanita tree with crystals centerpiece is part of their package- so no need to spend thousands on flowers. I don't think anyone will find a better wedding venue than Sand Castle. Their professionalism is beyond outstanding! The place is gorgeous and we had our wedding after they've renovated so it looked even better than it used to. Everyone at my wedding, including my husband and I, were impressed and pleased with Sand Castle; from their food, service, location and overall beauty. I highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married or having any other affairs!!

Sand Castle is absolutely THE best place to get married!! The entire staff is amazing! They are extremely helpful and accommodating, and every single person goes out of their way to make sure your wedding day is absolutely perfect.

Loula and Mohammed are amazing, they will make sure your wedding day runs perfectly and that you never have to worry about anything. Lucas and Joanna (they were my bridal attendants) are phenomenal! They made sure I had everything I needed, whether that was a drink, food or just to sit down and take a breather after taking 1,000 photos.

The outside of Sand Castle is gorgeous, they keep the grounds immaculate. There are beautiful flowers and trees every where, you completely forget you are in the middle of the block on Long Island.

The food is absolutely the best! Cocktail hour is huge! We had an enormous boat in the middle of our cocktail hour filled with all kinds of seafood. We also had tons of food stations and passed hors d'oeuvres! And that was only cocktail! For our reception, our guests had a choice of 7 entrees!! 7! I have never been to a wedding that offered that many options. And the Viennese hour, omg! To die for! They literally bring out a train of desserts!! Cakes, pastries, puddings, cookies, you name it, its there!

I will recommend Sand Castle to any couple looking to have an unforgettable wedding. The staff will treat you like royalty and give you the absolute best experience ever!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! If I could give 10 stars in every category I would. From our initial meeting with Loula, to the final meetings with Mohamed, to the maitre'ds and bridal attendants the night of, our experience was better than we could have ever dreamed. The food was to die for and it never stopped coming. The venue was beautiful. The service impeccable.
My husband and I wanted a black tie affair, but we were on a budget, albeit maybe not a super tight one. We had 160 guests. For the money, it was 200% worth every penny spent. Even my cheap father agrees! The package included everything and made the planning process so much easier. Again, all the staff were friendly, professional, and worked their hardest to make sure it was the day of our dreams. The outside of the building may not be a picturesque castle in a meadow, but once you're inside or in the garden out back, you forget all about it and so do your guests. We personally hated the look of country clubs with their floral carpeting and wallpaper. The Sand Castle is marble and dark wood and just so elegant. I cannot tell you how many people told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to and I really think they are serious!!!
I urge any bride looking in Long Island to make an appointment with the Sand Castle. You will be amazed with what they have to offer. Check it out. I am glad I did and have no regrets. It was the best day of my life!

I can't begin to explain how much I would recommend Sand Castle to anyone.
Let's just start off with the staff!!!. they were magnificent and for the lack of better word they were amazing!!... from the moment we walked in we were welcome by the door man and greeted by Loula (she was a sweetheart). After we spoke about price she gave us a tour of the venue and the first room we walked in was the cocktail room and it was a jaw dropping room then we followed to the bridal party room and the bridal suite, Once we walked in to the ballroom my wife knew it was our place, everything from lighting to center piece to table cloth was on point, her smile went from one ear to the other!!.. One our wedding day Joanna (bridal attendant) was always there with flats and lip gloss whenever it was needed Muhammad ran the show and didn't disappoint anyone... im very happy that we had our wedding there it was the party of a life time and we are very happy!!!! It's one month later and our guests are still raving about the atmosphere, quality, food & service at the Sand Castle! Loula greeted us like family every time we stopped in and did everything possible to help us create a magical day. The day of staff Mohamed, Joanna, Diego, Lukas & Gary exceeded all of our expectations. The bridal attendants were there at every turn whether it be a cold drink, lipstick, shoes, flowers or whatever else we needed. All of our belongings were 100% safe and our minds were at ease. The lighting and décor made a lasting impression on all of our guests and made for fantastic photos. The drop down martini bar at cocktail hour and the spinning dais entrance were just some of the bells and whistles that make the Sand Castle stand out from the crowd. We couldn't be happier in choosing the Sand Castle for our wedding and HIGHLY recommend them!

Words cannot describe how helpful and accommodating the staff at Sand Castle was at my 2/22/2015 wedding. Prepared to be blown away by the attentive staff and exceptional service. There was not one request that could not be granted. I was treated like royalty on my wedding day. My guests still cannot get over how good the food was and how the staff was so responsive. You really get your money's worth here let's not forget you are getting the entire venue to yourself no shared space with several other brides you have all the attention focused on YOU and your guests. If you want a mediocre wedding please feel free to visit the other halls. However, if you want an over the top experience and your guests to be wowed at every turn then definitely go to Sand Castle and ask for Mohamed tell him Cerena sent you. Promise you will not be disappointed.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding and day. Sand castle was very professional and very welcoming. I had to book my wedding short notice and they took care of every detail for me. All I had to do was show up. All my guests couldn't stop talking about my wedding and how great the food was and how beautiful the outdoor area was. Mohammed took care of my husband and I. I wish we could have booked our christening there for our daughter but they are booked solid until next year!

We searched over 20 venues on Long Island and in NYC. Nobody has touched our hearts, cared for us more and went beyond all than the Sandcastle had to offer in Franklin Square, Long Island. From the day we walked in to look at The Sand Castle to the end of our wedding, everything ran smoothly. I loved that we were the only wedding. We had the entire place to ourselves.

Loula and Mohamed were OUTSTANDING! They answered every question we had and gave us great advice to make our wedding day perfect! Mohamed went above and beyond for us! My bustle broke (twice..argh) and he was on the case, trying to sew it back for me. Right there is a prime example of an excellent catering hall. That is the kind of place you want to have you wedding.

The staff was incredible - from our bridal attendants, to the servers, to the bartenders, I couldn't ask for a better crew to help make this day the most magical day of our lives!

Cocktail hour was great! The drop-down bar, to the sushi boat, to all the delicious food choices, I'm surprised our guests had room for dinner! The food was amazing - they gave our guests SEVEN choices for dinner. AND they came around with seconds! The drinks were flowing, the room was set up beautifully, my guests had such a fabulous time that they are STILL talking about it! (a year and a half later!)

I worried about NOTHING the entire day and night! My husband and I had the BEST time and we have the Sand Castle to thank for that! :)

I just had my wedding at Sand Castle 2 weeks ago and all I can say is AMAZING!!! Everything was of course gorgeous and everything went perfect thanks to Mohammad for his amazing attention to detail and to myself and my husband, and thanks to the amazing staff at Sand Castle. Everyone did beyond amazing!! Our guest cant stop talking about the wedding even up until yesterday. They keep saying It was the most amazing wedding they have ever been too! Food was amazing and there is definitely A LOT of it. Drinks, Decor, worked with the vendors well, made sure all of our little details we wanted were present. I'm obsessed!!
I would recommend everyone to this venue, you will not be disappointed!!

PERFECT! We booked the venue through Will who was completely helpful. Any questions or concerns he answered right away. He reassured us that we would have an amazing wedding and that we did! Where to begin.....From the beginning my former fiance & I had a very good feeling about our special day. Loula was extremely responsive to all of our questions, and made the beginning of a very stressful process as easy as can be. She was always extremely quick with a response/answer to any of our questions, and was always extremely helpful. When the final countdown began, and all the details needed to be ironed out, Mohammed was better than anything we could have imagined. My wife and I are extremely picky, and he made a few difficult choices for us a lot easier. When the day finally arrived, every single one of our expectations were not only met, but exceeded above and beyond. From the moment we set foot inside the building, we were treated like royalty; and this did not stop at my wife & I or the wedding party. Every single one of my guests was treated like a king/queen/princess/prince from the beginning of the day to the very end. The service was impeccable. Not only was the service at the wedding incredible, but it also extended after the night was over. Mohammed noticed that my wife and I were waiting a little longer than expected for the hotel shuttle, and offered to drive us to our hotel. Mohammed then drove us in his personal car, 20 minutes to our hotel. We were both amazed. Not only was the service spot on, but the food and drinks were unrivaled. I can go on for hours about how great the food was, and I have been to everyone and anyone who asks about our wedding. The amount & quality of food served at the cocktail hour had a few of our guests thinking it was dinner. When dinner finally arrived, people were shocked at not only how good it was, but that they could get a second plate of any entree they desired. Then the servers wrapped dinners up for the guests to take home. Where else does something like that happen? Once dinner was over, the Viennese hour began, and I can honestly say I have never seen that many desserts in my life.

Sand Castle makes your wedding day a dream come true with their amazing staff. My husband and I cannot say enough about Loula, Mohamed, Bradley, Ali, Jenin, Joe, and all their waiters/waitresses, and bartenders regarding their customer service and professionalism from when we first booked with Sand Castle to the wedding day. They were very attentive and truly care about the groom, bride, and our guests. The wedding details were perfectly coordinated by Mohamed and his team. The internal communication that he had with his team and other vendors (photographer/videographers, DJ, and florist) were on point. If it wasn't for Mohamed and Bradley, I would have not been able to get the Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, and cake cutting on video as our videographer was leaving at 11:30pm (which we forgot to informed Sand Castle). They were able to catch all things that could have gone wrong and made it perfect. They definitely made our wedding day stress free which I truly appreciated after enduring such a stressful week leading up to the wedding. Our guests are still raving about how this was one of the best wedding that they've ever been to and how the cocktail and Viennese hours were phenomenal. There was too much food and mostly importantly the quality and taste of the food was extremely outstanding. Not to mention the décor of the venue. It was such a beautiful venue from the entrance, lobby, ballroom, to the garden. We have NO REGRETS booking with Sand Castle and they were worth every dollar that was spent. We love you guys and can't THANK YOU enough for helping to make our wedding day so special and such a memorable day. Sand Castle is the absolute best!

My new husband and I loved the service, the food, the staff - just everything about the Sand Castle. The food was plenty and was good! Guests loved that they were offered seconds after their initial plate.

The service and professionalism was great from start to finish. Whenever we had any questions, they answered them in a timely manner and made us feel secure that everything was going to go smoothly. If we needed anything extra the day before or the day of, they were there with it. The decor was fabulous and all of our guests loved it!

I loved the fact that they only do one event at a time and therefore, my husband and I were definitely King and Queen for the day!

We shopped around and saw many venues, and I am glad we went with Sand Castle to celebrate our special day!

If I could give Sand Castle ten stars I would. I have been in a lot of weddings and never have experienced service like we did at Sand Castle. My new husband and I are eternally grateful to the staff there for making our day and the planning before, perfect.

We saw two other venues before getting to the Sand Castle and we knew it was the one the second we walked in the door!! There was never a moment that we felt unattended to, which was very important as we planned the last year from afar. From the first day we booked to our wedding day, Sand Castle ensured that everything was exactly the way we wanted it!! We booked in 2011 and the amount of upgrades from then to our day was astonishing!! Everyone continues to rave about the service, food and beauty of the venue 2 months later. For any future Sand Castle bride you are definitely in good hands... wish we could do it again! I will update after the Crete honeymoon :)

I cannot even begin to express how happy we were with choosing Sand Castle for our wedding day! I fell in love with this venue when I was 10 years old and knew the second I walked in I would have my wedding there one day- and 17 years later I finally did! Everyone at Sand Castle was fantastic to deal with from day one! They were very accommodating, quick to respond to any questions or concerns we may have had, and made the entire process stress free. The day of my wedding everything went perfectly. Every employee at Sand Castle is amazing! The food is out of this world delicious and I have never seen better service. All my guests could not believe that if they stepped away for even a second they would come back to their seat and the napkin was folded, water filled, and silverware put back in place. Everyone we have spoken too says it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Thank You Sand Castle for making our wedding day a dream come true!!

We had an amazing time at our wedding thanks to Sand Castle. The staff, the service, the food all exceptional and over the top. So many people mentioned it was the best wedding venue they've been to. I think all weddings are perfect but there is just something special about sand castle they really go above and beyond for their brides and grooms. We wanted for nothing that night. They were an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning process! Beyond responsive and I don't think the word "no" is in their vocabulary. I mean we even wanted a custom ice sculpture modeled after our cat!!! Moe, our bm, was really willing to find a way make it happen! We decided to go a more traditional route in the end, but that was just one example of many that shows how their service is unsurpassed. When we went to pick up our things the day after our wedding they sent us home with literally 25 meals and three huge boxes of viennese pastries. Some of our guests told us they were able to wrap up their seconds (yup, every guest is offered a second entree) that night. You really can't beat them. We even pushed our date to off season so we could fit Sand Castle into our budget. They may seem more pricey compared to other venues, but they offer so so much! It's worth it!

Sand Castle went above and beyond from the moment we walked in until our wedding day. Everything I asked for, they were able to accommodate. The hall is absolutely gorgeous and the owners pay attention to every single detail and are constantly updating the building and grounds. Communication with the banquet managers was always prompt and professional. The service we received all through planning and especially at the wedding was impeccable. Every guest was attended to throughout the night. Waiters and staff constantly checked with my guests, refilled glasses and cleaned the tables quickly. Guests told me they have never tasted such phenomenal food at a wedding before. And there was so much of it! Guests had 7 choices for dinner, plus full Cocktail Hour and Viennese Hour. My husband and I were treated like royalty at the wedding. They handled every issue that had arisen at the wedding without our knowledge. The staff was excellent! I can not say enough great things about Sand Castle. Loula, Dena and Moe truly went above and beyond throughout the whole planning time and everything was perfect. Our maitre d's and bridal attendants were so helpful and accommodating too!

My wedding was on 2.17.13. I can not say enough about Sand Castle. Everything from the food to the service to the place was amazing. They went above and beyond for us. My guest had an amazing time and most have told me that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. I really hope someone else has a wedding here so I can attend as a guest and enjoy everything. The amount of food served was unreal and it was all delicious. They were very attentive and accomodating even with my OCD self lol. Mohammed was a sweetheart. If you are anything like me and want it all The biggest bang for your buck is def at the Sand Castle. If you don't want it all then Sand Castle might not be for you as I believe they only have one package on the weekends. I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to the Sand Castle. As soon as I stepped in the Sand Castle I knew it was where I wanted my wedding to be and I was not mistaken. This place is AMAZING!!!!!!

Two of my cousins had a wedding here, different years and this place is beyond great its awesome. I can go on and on. The food n the staff are wonderful. I recommend this place to anyone. When and if I get married I will definitely definitely pick this place. If not for me I will do it for my daughter.

I can't say enough positive things about the Sand Castle. We got married there in December of 2012 and it was absolutely amazing. Anything we asked, they did. Mohammed, the maitre d's and the bridal attendents were at our sides all night long making sure everything went perfectly. I couldn't have imagined how perfect everything could have gone. From the second we walked in after our ceremony, the staff at the Sand Castle did everything in their power to please us. I would recommend the Sand Castle to any bride.

I am the father of the bride and feel compelled to leave feedback because feedback is a gift, and this is well deserved, but a small token, compared to the effort and professionalism that was shown on Jan 26th at Jackie's an Joes's wedding. From Mohammed, Brett and Lucas we saw tremendous service and attention to detail for all our guests. I have had so many compliments on your staff's service and cordial offers as well as the quality of food, both at our cocktail hour and our main reception. I cant thank Sand Castle enough for all the preparation and detail that your crew displayed. You know there are a lot of places out there that say a lot of things and make a lot of promises and then fall short of both. Sand Castle, from Dina to Mohammed not only met our expectations but overdelived on all of them! Mohammed, thank you for being so flexible and making things happen.
A final thanks to Joe, who was taking care of me, Jackie and Joe every time we turned around, he is a great asset to the team, great smile and always gave me the thumbs up and asking what we needed, a great kid ! Joe did things above and beyond for me and my buddies during Cocktail in the Veranda. Everyone loved the surprises that Sand Castle had for our guests with both the Martini Bar and the Grand entrance of the new married couple.

I LOVE THE SAND CASTLE!!! You cannot go wrong with them. The price is phenomenal, the venue is beautiful, the food is great, and the staff is super helpful. Will and Mohamed did everything they could to make my day unforgettable. I know my guests were really impressed, especially with the amount of food they served. At some places, the staff is stingy with the food, probably because they get to take home the leftovers. This is certainly not the case with SC. A lot of my guests thought that the Cocktail Hour was the Reception because of the amount of food they were given. All of the smaller details (although they were hardly small) made my wedding spectacular: the beautiful veranda where we held the Ceremony, the martini bar that descended from the ceiling during the Cocktail Hour, the rotating platform used for our entrance in the Reception, and the tented ceiling, chandelier, and color-changing lights. During the Reception, they came around with seconds. I will never forget the look of bewilderment on the faces of my family and friends. Where did the servers expect them to put more food? A few hours later, when the Viennese Tables were wheeled out, everyone forced themselves to find room in their bellies. There was so much dessert that many guests filled up a plate with treats, and then came back to fill up a take-away box. My only regret is that I couldn’t enjoy my wedding the way my guests did. I hope one of my cousins gets married there soon so that I can dance and overeat like they did!

Wowwwwww. Love everything about the Sand Caslte. I wish I can have a party every weekend there. My husband ( I have one of those now lol) and I had a great time from planning our wedding to our wedding day with the help of all the staff from the Sand Castle. Everything was beautiful. Every Vendor they recommended to us were amazing. Reverand Johny was awesome. The D.J. had everyone from the 4 year olds to the 80 year old italian men dancing. The Staff at the wedding made everything run smoothly and was right by your side when I or any of our guest needed something. Our guests couldnt believe how there napkins were folded as soon as they put them down. LOL. Our Guest still keep raving about the food. Which we also have some of our guests going to the New Years Eve party because they loved the Sand Castle so much. I felt so relaxed planning our wedding with the staff. Everyone was on point to every single detail that i wanted, which was a lot. Thank You Mohamed, You realy are the best. Thank you to our bridal attendants and Maitre D's, you guys were amazing. I would recommend the Sand Castle to everyone. Thank You for Making our wedding Day as beautiful as possible and for all of your help. We love you guys and had a great time xoxoxo

Wow! My husband and I don't even know where to begin. During our engagement, the entire Staff at SC assured us that everything would be amazing... And they definitely lived up to their promise! We got married on November 3rd, just a few days after Hurricane Sandy hit NY. We were so stressed out because our guests were, understandably, cancelling left and right. However, SC calmed us down and told us it was our night to be treated like royalty. Everyone raves about our wedding everyday. The waitstaff is so attentive.... No one ever had an empty glass. And NO ONE left hungry!! We had a 7 hour affair.... The food kept coming and it was all delicious! We wish we could go back and do it all again. Some may say that SC is pricey, but it is ABsOLUTELY worth every penny! The greatest part????? 1 wedding at a time! The entire place is yours :)

Our wedding was incredible. We held out reception here and it exceeded our expectations. Nearly every guest has told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. There were so many extras that were just included here, raw bar, Venetian hour, 7 hour reception (including 1.5 hour cocktail hour, 7 entree choices with chance for seconds....amazing food!). The amount that you receive for the price is incredible. Not a cheap place, but excellent value and when we looked around at places in Suffolk county with friends a few years back we saw places will similar prices but no extras....Venetian hour was $pp, and sushi station was $$ per person, everything had an extra price tag. Sand Castle gave us the total price, including tax and gratuity so we knew what to expect and how to budget. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Before the wedding we were able to taste the food before choosing our menu, anytime we met with Loula or Mohammed they were extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. The service the night of was the same as a really fancy restaurant where napkins are folded immediately and service is present without being annoying. I can't say enough about how impressed I was and how happy we were with our wedding day.
