    Affordable, Beautiful, Unbelievable!

    The grounds are spacious & lush.
    The food & service were out of this world.
    Colleen was an absolute gem to work with from start to finish too. :D
    Really, this was a One-Stop shop for an unforgettable Wedding!!!

    The ladies at the San Ramon Marriott did a fabulous job in making our day special and memorable. We were very hopeful that the rain would stop just long enough to have our ceremony outside, but we had no luck. The ladies were so flexible and did a wonderful job getting things set up inside at the last minute. Everything looked beautiful.

    They were so detail oriented that I really never had to worry about anything. I would recommend the Marriott, absolutely!!

    Although they did forget to serve coffee with the cake, which seemed really strange. But in the grand scheme of things, that is no big deal. If something has to go wrong on the wedding day, missing coffee is fine with me.

    Staff digging in for your food

    I had my wedding here last summer, and the manager Tammy is was a nightmare to communicate with. She doesn't pick up the phone and ignores emails and voicemails for weeks and it made me feel desperate and unwanted. Due to chase, we were unable to get the original day she had told us was available.
    Secondly, it's very difficult when you want to come in and show decorators or other vendors, because you have to only go in when an event manager is in, and they are not always in.
    My biggest disappointment came on the day of my wedding, I had a small budgeting wedding of about 40-50 people along with my dad who has cancer and recently lost my mom. I called in advance and asked if they box food for us and they told us that they'll just put it back in the foil it came with/ we'll work something out. At the end of the wedding, I ask for the leftover food so my dad can take it home for my sisters and him (to make their lives easier) and the staff tell me there wasn't any left but I heard from all my guests that multiple staff members were digging in. Do I get a discount for feeding your staff Mariott? They come in one after another to help themselves to my budgeted small wedding. Very sloppy and unprofessional.

    Beware wedding events will cause terrible service & unfulfilled requests

    Nice staff, especially Marisa, Zach & PJ, BUT: Multiple phone calls only resulted in unfilled requests to the room, Lounge was closed with no notice on website, App nor even in front of the lounge door! Breakfast is ok, typical scaled down American. Rooms have no towel bars anywhere in bathroom except a small hook on the door. Woke-up early to eat breakfast at 6:30 only to discover sign was wrong (had the "weekday" sign up instead of the weekend sign which states breakfast is at 7 AM not 6 AM). Manager said same thing happened last year with the lounge, GO FIGURE why actually resolve a problem if you're aware of it!
