I can’t believe I’m saying this but I found my dream wedding dress with some of the most special humans in my life at a place that has always made me feel seen and welcomed.
Over the weekend, I returned to Samila Bridal and Formal to find my wedding dress. I say returned because I have always known that when I was ready to find a wedding dress, I would only need to go to Samila. In high school, I remember hitting 11 different dress shops in one day in search of a homecoming dress and feeling beyond discouraged especially when store after store had absolutely no clue how to interact with a blind teenage girl who just wanted to have a magical high school dance experience like everyone else. Then in a last ditch effort, my mom and I wandered into Samila and I have never gone anywhere else for formal dresses. From the moment I walked in as a teenager, I have never felt more seen as a complex human who is blind, a fashionista, confident, and capable. Yasmin at Samila made me feel at home instantly and immediately communicated with me like she had only worked with blind people for years, describing where she was in relation to me, when she would touch me to adjust straps or hems, explaining color and texture of dresses, and all the while understanding my style with killer instinct. I got to feel normal at Samila when everything else around me in high school made me feel othered.
So this weekend, I made an appointment and requested to work with Yasmin again because for once in my life as a blind woman, I knew I would be embraced with understanding, ease, and enthusiasm. Yasmin and her team did not disappoint and my dream wedding dress experience came true in the best way. I can’t possibly express my gratitude to Yasmin and Samila Bridal and Formal for not only getting me in dresses that made me feel incredible, but for creating a space where I can be unapologetically myself.

Great Experience
Yasmin was amazing. I was able to request a dress before my appointment and they helped me get it from the designer to try on. Yasmin also pulled a few other dresses based on my description of what I was looking for and I found my dress almost immediately! Staff was amazing. Highly recommend.

Best Experience I Could Have Asked For!
The team at Samila, especially Shea, was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, Shea was open, attentive, and professional. She asked lots of questions and took feedback from me, even when I wasn't sure how to vocalize how I felt. She pulled a lot of different styles, nailing down exactly what I did and did not like about dresses, until she found a perfect dress. As someone unfamiliar with the whole process? Shea was the best guide I could have asked for!! The whole experience was about what was best for me, and finding me the perfect dress. Never once did I feel like a dollar sign or a waste of time.
I had the chance to try on a bunch of dresses at Samila, and I had found a dress I LOVED at Samila, but wanted to make sure I looked at options at other stores. Shea was absolutely great. She set a next-day follow-up to see how my other appointments went, and to let me re-try on the dress that I loved.
Shea was always concerned for what was the best option for me, and when I told her that I found another dress that competed with my original dress? Shea went into the inventory, and found a dress that combined the best parts of both dresses.
I cannot recommend Samila enough as the go-to for brides to be shopping in the Seattle area. You are guaranteed to be treated with respect, grace, and most importantly, like it is all about you!

Shea at Samila
I had a great experience with Samila Bridal, their stylist Shea and their in house tailor. Samila had a good selection of wedding dresses in the style that I was looking for. Shea did a great job helping narrow down the selections from my family and find the perfect veil to fit my dress. Samila was also great in providing a realistic and accurate timeline of when my dress would be ready to schedule all of our fittings and tailoring appointments. Overall, the whole process went very smoothly!

Samila was our 4th stop and if save the best for last isn’t real, then I’m not sure what is. To start, the shop is absolutely beautiful, additionally there was a lot of street parking available. I had booked my appointment the night before, and called the shop before booking to ensure my size range was available. The shop had requested that I browse their selection and choose a few dresses that I liked, and they had those dresses pulled for us when we got there. We were brought to the beautiful loft, where were had the whole upstairs to ourselves. Shea was fantastic, she really made the whole experience great for us. She was extremely informative, and made me feel very comfortable during the fitting process. The third dress I tried on ended up being the one! I had tried on a very similar dress at another shop, but the quality of the dresses at Samila are so much better than any of the others I had tried. I am so grateful to have found this shop!

Amazing Wedding Shopping Experience
I’m so glad I found Samila Bridal during my dress shopping. It was the last stop in a full day of dress shopping and I was exhausted. Shae welcomed my friends and me in and took the time to really understand what I was looking for and what other stores may have missed the mark on. She really listened and it was obvious in the dresses she pulled out for me to try on. Shae was such a joy to work with and made the experience so special. I love that Samila offers alterations in-house, I didn’t have to worry about finding someone else to hem and bustle my dress. The tailor was amazing and my dress fit perfectly. For context, I’m getting married this fall, I have NEVER been to a bridal boutique (I was searching online), and I had been looking for a wedding dress since the start of the new year.
There was no dress that captivated me until I stumbled upon the designer Martin Thornburg. I 100% love their style! They are the only designer that caught my interest; props to them and their gorgeous skills!
I checked to see if their work was available in Seattle, and Samila had their collection! When I stumbled on Blaye I told myself YES. Yes yes yes! I called the moment I woke up and left a rather delulu voicemail for the Samila staff (eek sorry!).
I called again the moment they opened and spoke with Shea. Shea reserved the dress for me to purchase and pick up on the day of. There was no room for a fitting which was okay because I literally was so in love with the dress that I was going to purchase it no matter what.
After work I stopped by, Shea greeted me with such warmth and excitement! I definitely rushed after work, and it was a rather warm day so I was so sweaty and so tired from a 10 hr shift. I was not feeling pretty. I got there 30 mins earlier than expected. Shea told me the previous bride did not stay too long and had room for me to try the dress on. Despite not feeling not pretty, Shea was really sweet and encouraging. Truly, this experience was not what I expected; I originally planned on going with my mother and sisters but I just had to get this dress so I went alone. Everything decided last minute.
My excitement was very high that I really could not speak in complete sentences. Shea made me feel comfortable, took photos and was an overall cheerleader.
When I wore the dress I was extremely worried that I would not fit into it, but I did. I was taken a back. Truly the whole experience produced intense feelings of euphoria, and I believe I only stayed there for 25 mins?
Although my time there was short, I knew what I wanted and Shea made the experience extremely easy.

I had a wonderful time finding my wedding dress at Samila Bridal. I chose the VIB Experience with my mom and Maid of Honor, and it was so much fun to have the space to ourselves as I tried on dresses. I absolutely love the dress I chose -- it was exactly what I had hoped for, and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Samila Bridal's tailor also made sure the dress was a perfect fit. Everyone at Samila Bridal was friendly and professional, and I had a great experience. Would highly recommend!

I had the most incredible service at Samila with Shea! This was my very first bridal dress appointment and Shea was so amazing. She made my experience everything I imagined dress shopping to be! She was patient, listened to my needs and made me feel so comfortable throughout my appointment. Every dress I tried on was so beautiful and Shea really did a great job of picking styles that I asked for. I went to a couple other bridal shops afterwards and none of it compared to the experience I had with Shea at Samila. I would highly recommend going here, especially for your first time bridal dress shopping!

I have been raving about my experience at Samila Bridal since my appointment last week! I seriously can't recommend then enough.
Shea and Malia were incredible! They say down with me and the rest of my group to talk through the dresses I had tried on at the other salon I visited. They asked what I liked, but more importantly what I didn't like about my favorites. Shea then curated the perfect set if dresses to try on. Even though I felt like my favorite dresses were completely different, Shea figured out the common thread and found the perfect dress! I swear she figured out my vision before I did. They also made the experience fun with their flourish curtain reveal for every dress.

Out of the 4 bridal boutiques I had visited in search of my wedding dress, Samila provided the best experience by far! Shea and Yasmin were an absolute joy to work with, and the service provided was above and beyond my expectation. I communicated what I was looking for in a dress, and the first one that I tried on was the one I had been searching for. When the dress I ordered came in but didn’t fit due to the sizing not fitting to designer's specification, Yasmin and her team handled the situation with professionalism and grace, and I had no worries because I knew I was in good hands. Perfect wedding dress experience
I chose Samila Bridal and Formal after looking online for boutique wedding dress shops in Seattle that carried Morilee dresses and would allow me to bring a couple guests (due to COVID many wedding dress shops were only allowing 1 or 2 guests). I ended up doing the Diamond experience so I could bring 4 people with me and as a plus we got snacks and champagne. Right away all of the consultants were so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. They listened to what I was looking for and made adjustments along the way based on my feedback from each dress. It was so apparent how much they put into each client and prioritized finding my dream dress over making a sale. They had an amazing selection and I definitely found the perfect dress without breaking the bank. The process after purchase was incredibly smooth. They were able to squeeze me in for a last minute alterations appointment after I got COVID and the day of pick-up were able to quickly readjust the bustle hooks when it ended up being too long. I am SO happy I picked Samila and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a comprehensive wedding dress experience!

Perfection.
They made my dress shopping experience so special, the grand reveal my stylist did with every dress was so fun and being behind the curtain in the room with my bridal party added such a fun suspense as i put each dress on and heard everyone getting excited to see it. It was my first dress appointment and by the end I said yes to the dress without needing and more shopping around. The dresses- stunning. The shop- so comfortable and the staff made me feel like a princess. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience and I will remember it for a life time.

Just what I needed!
I was married last Fall in 2021. I bought my wedding dress, belt, veil and headpiece from Samila’s. My sister, mother and mother in law bought their dresses for my wedding from here as well. We have been happy customers from their boutique for many years for various formal wear, so it was a no brainer for me when I got engaged to come here for my wedding dress.
They have soooo many beautiful dresses for any occasion. I was planning my wedding as a short term engagement, (only 3 months) so I knew I may not have the time to order a dress months in advanced. It was very easy to make an appointment online. I went with an off the rack appointment since time was a resource I was short on. They had many options for me to try. I had txt my inspo pictures and size ahead of time so when I got there everything was ready. All of the staff and the owner are super amazing and friendly! They go above an beyond to make the experience of finding a dress very personal and all about you and your big day.
Their location is quite out of the way for me (Prepare for traffic,) but they are totally worth it.
I found a dress that I loved and fit my rustic barn/ Latin vibes theme… I came in with just barely enough time to actually custom order the dress with my measurements. The price was great! But be aware that everything adds up, even with custom measurements you will probably have to pay some for alterations as the measurements cannot be exact to your body SHAPE.
As the day drew near and I came back in for my dress fitting; there was an issue with my hem. This was my only meltdown that I had during my wedding planning process. I burst into tears feeling terribly anxious and overwhelmed. Once the owner noticed my distress, she investigated the issue and took all responsibility to get it fixed as soon as possible. They took great care with me and wanted to make sure everything was to my liking and absolutely perfect and in time for my wedding day.
I felt beautiful on my big day; my mom, MIL and sister also looked fabulous.
Samila’s was great to communicate with. They have such a lovely team of people; They are all like family now. Since then my sister in law and cousin have also found there dream dress for their weddings here. And It feels extra great to be able to support a local family business. I can’t thank them enough!!!
You won’t regret coming here. Don’t wait. 💖

Amazing experience!
I arrived 15 minutes early to my wedding dress appointment at Samila and was greeted by smiling faces. My guest and I had the shop to ourselves which provided a comfortable and intimate setting to do our shopping. Shea helped me find my wedding dress and was very thorough in getting to know me and my likes in dresses, she asked about my venue, and also about my fiancé. Shea absolutely nailed it by putting me in dresses that I liked and loved. Samila Bridal was super informative and compassionate when they had to explain the change in timeline for ordering dresses due to covid which in turn meant I couldn’t wait for my mom to be here to order it but it also ensured that I will have a dress for my wedding! Overall would recommend Samila 10/10 for friendly and knowledgeable staff and beautiful dress selection!

THE BEST in Seattle - don't even bother with the other guys
Don't even bother going anywhere else. Samila was simply AMAZING! My sister got married a couple of years ago and had the hardest time finding her dress. So when it came time to find mine, I was terrified I was going to have to go to 10 different stores before I found mine. Thankfully, Samila was only the second one I had to go to. Well if I'm being honest...it was the third if you count David's Bridal...but there's no comparison - not even the same league! I am large busted and also just turned forty so I knew it would be challenging to find a dress that made me feel like it was age appropriate, but still made me feel beautiful. All my fears instantly faded away after being at Samila for 5 minutes. Every bride is treated with VIP treatment. You basically have the whole place to yourself, which not only ensures one-on-one care, but really allows you to enjoy the moment of finding the perfect gown. Before coming to Samila I felt like no one was listening to me. Afterall, as I said before, I am 40 and have been dressing myself for almost as long - I know what looks good on my body. At Samila you are listened to, heard, and even if you aren't as decisive as me, I am confident they will find you that dream dress. I could go on and on, but you should experience it for yourself!

Made me feel so special
This is the cutest shop ever! They made me feel so incredibly special!! I was the only bride to be there and got all the attention from everyone. So so nice that you have your privacy putting the dresses on and off. They're there to help, but let you get the dress on most of the way first. I was able to try on several dresses (pics included, except the one purchased) before I found the one!! They were able to read me and select just the perfect choices when I gave them ideas of what I liked. It was just absolutely perfect and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. I was even able to video call with my family that lives out of state and they never made me feel rushed. This shop is a gem and I highly recommend them!!

Beautiful dresses with amazingly fun and knowledgeable staff!
I had an amazing time finding my dream dress with Yasmin and Shea! I had gone to 4 bridal shops before finally finding this one. By time I reached this appointment I was discouraged and exhausted, but when I spoke with Yazmin on the phone to schedule my appointment she made me feel confident that this appointment was going to be the one where I would find my dress. They had many dresses that fit the style I was looking for and they took their time going through each one to understand what I liked and disliked. The dresses are so unique and beautiful I thought they were going to be way over budget, but I left under budget with my dream dress! I had an amazing time saying yes to the dress and can’t wait for my wedding day. Another thing that made this experience amazing is that my family lives out of the state so I came into the appointment alone. Yazmin and Shea held the phone so I could FaceTime my family for every dress and hyped me up the entire time.they are so sweet and fun to work with. Best dress shopping experience ever!

They knew just what I was looking for when I didn't.
Samila Bridal was amazing and made the experience of searching for my wedding dress fun and simple. When going in I had an idea of things I liked and did not like. I did not have a specific dress in mind and needed a lot of guidance. Every dress they pulled for me to try on was beautiful and had something I liked about it. They listened and somehow took everything I was looking for and knew just what I wanted. They also made the experience special for my guests whose opinions were very important to me without taking any attention away from me, the bride.

I said Yes! Finally!
Samila was the 7th bridal dress appointment I had done. Yes, SEVEN. Over the course of 7 months, too. I had had some good experiences where I just didn't find the one, but also some bad ones that made me not want to go to another store again. And then I saw a Facebook ad that Samila was having a trunk show of my favorite designer, so I thought I'd give dress shopping one more try, and I'm so glad I did! I was solo at this appointment due to Covid and work flexibilities, but I never felt alone. Yasmin and her "apprentice" Shay were incredibly nice and really listened to what I wanted and asked questions so that they could pull out the right dresses. I had a good feeling when there was a rack full of dresses that matched what I was looking for within minutes, whereas at the last shop there wasn't even a single dress that did. Shay helped me in dresses and took pictures for me. Yasmin put some finishing touches to the fit and worked her magic with talking me through things. She interpreted my mixed feelings and contradictory statements and was able to make the right adjustments to have the number one dress fit exactly how I wanted. And then she continued to work magic. And I mean magic! I had been hung up for so long on this one dress by Morilee online that no one had a sample of, so I couldn't try it on (I'd still be able to order it through Samila tho). When it came down to the one I had on and the one that was online, I at first was still torn. These decisions are hard! But from the initial chat, Yasmin knew that I was a biologist and thus started approaching the comparison rather scientifically for me. She broke down each detail I was debating on and was able to help me see the differences with other dresses or lighting, etc. In the end I was able to come to the conclusion myself that the dress I had on was the perfect one, and actually better than the one I had been hung up on for over 6 months. I tearily said Yes to the dress and felt like I was in a room of friends with their reaction, too. Yasmin even was able to find the right size in stock so that it will get here in time and gave me a discount to put my frugal mind at ease a bit. When I left, I realized that my appointment had gone way longer than it was supposed to, but I had never felt rushed or pressured. I was the center of their attention and felt valued and respected, even when, I admit, I was probably being difficult. I would recommend them to any bride, and I wish I had gone to them earlier! Definitely worth the drive to West Seattle, even with the bridge out (that alone is saying a lot!). Thank you, Yasmin (and Shay)!

I said yes to the dress!
I’ve gone to Samila Boutique for my high school homecomings and prom. When it came time to look for a wedding dress, I knew I had to go. I went to 2 other dress stores with terrible experiences and saved Samila’s for last.
We showed up to my appointment and we’re greeted with champagne and smiles. My consultant’s name was Taylor and she was the BEST! She made me feel so beautiful and comfortable. By the end of the appointment I said yes to the dress! I had such a great experience thanks to Samila Boutique!

Samila Boutique- The place you want to go to buy your wedding dress
Samila Boutique is AMAZING. This was one of three total places I went. Yasmin is the actual best. She made the experience so fun for me, my mom, and MOH. She listened to what I wanted, or thought I wanted, but also provided ideas and suggestions. She worked hard to make sure the dresses looked right by pinning and clipping up a storm so I could see what they would look like on my actual day. I never felt pressured to buy (even though I bought that day) and really can't say how much I enjoyed the experience. Kind of wish I needed to buy 5 more wedding dresses (not really), because we had such an amazing morning. I would tell any bride in the greater Seattle area to come check out Samila Boutique.

Best Bridal Boutique!!
My experience at Samila Boutique was second to none. I am a first time bride and my dress shopping journey prior to coming to this shop was very poor. As soon as I walked into Samila’s Boutique, I was warmly greeted by Yasmin. She took the time to make my mom and I feel comfortable. Yasmin asked a few questions before we got started and then provided tips and direction as I began to pull dresses. She educated me on style, shape and designers among other things. The minute I tried on my first dress I cried tears of joy, because I knew that I had found the ONE and I felt so relieved and happy with the shopping experience. I can’t thank Yasmin and Samila Boutique enough and I highly recommend this shop to all future brides

You will absolutely want to make your appointment at Samila!
Samila was my second bridal appointment in a two-day, PACKED agenda to find my dress. The instant I walked into Samila, I had a feeling I wouldn’t leave there without my dress. Yasmin was absolutely amazing to work with, she really listened to what I was looking for and as we went through the questions, she stops and says “ I have THE perfect dress for you”. Sure enough, it was the one. Needless to say, I cancelled the rest of my appointments.
Yasmin knows her stuff and made me feel like a million bucks. I could go on and on, but instead, make your appointment and see for yourself, you won’t regret it!!

Don't Miss this Shop: Yasmine saved my day
Alright - here is the deal. I over committed myself the day I visited Samila. It was the 3rd place I had been too, late in the afternoon, and it had been a full day of running around the city to different locations. I was not looking forward to another session of trying on dresses when we arrived - I almost called and cancelled on our way there. But this is why Yasmine and Samila is so special - She literally pulled me out of that mood, suggested a dress I didn't think I would like (spoiler, it was THE ONE!), and made the experience feel more glamorous and special than any other boutique earlier that day. I am very thankful I didn't cancel and I am thankful for Yasmine because she gave me such a wonderful experience. I still think about my dress every day and I can't wait to look at it for the rest of my life!

Amazing!! Hidden gem in West Seattle
Absolutely cannot recommend Samila Boutique enough! I first had a virtual appointment & then an in-person appointment with Yasmin, and she was fun, professional & made me feel like a princess while trying on the dresses. I was a couple sizes off from the sample dresses, but she pinned/clipped/held & worked her magic to show me exactly how each dress could look with the right size. She even took a bunch of pictures/videos for me so I could show my family members across the state.
I originally almost didn’t go in, because I thought I had found “the one” at another boutique, but I’m so glad I did. What I thought I wanted in the virtual appointment was completely different than my in-person appointment, and Yasmin instantly switched gears and pulled new dresses that matched my new styles I wanted. She was open & honest about pricing and completely honored my budget. Brides, do yourselves a favor & book an appointment at Samila’s!!

My experience at Samila Boutique was so memorable and lovely! Even with all the variables of Covid, Yasmin made every step of finding a wedding dress exciting, safe and stress-free. Yasmin listens to what you want in a dress and will help you find or make exactly that. She is SO friendly and accomodating. She also went above and beyond in making sure I could have my loved ones come see me in my beautiful wedding dress, which meant multiple appointments to try on the same dress. I think all my bridesmaids will go to Samila for their dress shopping now too. Thank you Samila Boutique for a wonderful experience, a perfect dress and the best service!

This was absolutely the best experience of the seven wedding dress stores I went to.
Not only does Samila Boutique have a huge selection of such beautiful dresses but their customer service is outstanding! When you get there, you have the whole place to yourself. They take their time with you not giving you any rushed feelings. They have a solution to every concern and an answer for every question. They listened to exactly what I was looking for and are now custom making my dream dress for a reasonable price. They have in-house tailoring and the stylist is with you every step of the way (from finding your dream dress to final fitting). They also took time out of their day to find my mom the perfect Mother-of-the-bride dress which was no easy task as my mom is one of the most picky shoppers. As I waited for my mom to try on many dresses, they even bought me breakfast and coffee while helping me out with ideas for bridesmaids dresses. On top of all of this, they let me come in an extra day and take up even more of their time, so my best friend could see me in the dress. They go way out of their way to make their customers happy! Samila Bridal is professional but also provides you with a comfortable family-like setting. I feel so lucky to have stumbled into this store. I highly recommend shopping here before anywhere in the Seattle area!

Yasmin has a 6th sense!
Yasmin at Samila Boutique is the fairy godmother/dress whisperer of wedding dresses! I went to 5 other bridal shops around Seattle and felt lost and overwhelmed. Yasmin had a keen sense for my taste and pulled several dresses that I felt gorgeous in! I wish I could have got more than one at this shop :)

Samila boutique blew us away! Yasmin is the sweetest, warmest host you could ask for. As a bride she quickly made me feel so comfortable and welcomed into the store. Even with masks and other precautions for COVID that tend to make things feel impersonal, I forgot anything was different than normal and simply enjoyed being a bride.
I fell in love with the first dress she brought out (after trying MANY dresses on at 4 other shops with no luck), tried on a few more just to be sure, and said yes to that first dress! Yasmin went so far above and beyond to pull strings and made a bunch of calls to find the color that I was looking for.
Truly could not ask for a better experience. Thank you Yasmin!

Dream Wedding Dress Shopping Experience
Samila Boutique is the dream experience for wedding dress shopping. Yasmin is seriously the dress whisperer! The gowns in there are gorgeous, extremely well priced, and you get treated like a princess. I was able to find my dream gown in a single visit, and can honestly say it was an amazing experience. My best friend found her gown here too, and I knew it was the place for me. Beyond the gowns and service, I love how much I time Yasmin spent speaking about the options and special touches she can put on gowns. She also supports you through the alterations process and does everything in house. I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about Yasmin or Samila. I will definitely be back for bridal dresses and other special occasions.

Amazing service, beautiful dresses
My mother and I got to work with Yasmin to find my perfect wedding dress! After not being in love with any dresses I had tried on at other shops, I was excited that I was able to schedule a last minute appointment here when I realized they had reopened at their new location. Yasmin was absolutely amazing and helpful through my appointment and even went above and beyond and set up a zoom meeting for us. She pulled multiple dresses for me all in beautiful styles(the dresses here are so beautiful! I didn't see a single dress in this shop I didn't think was pretty), she never made me feel rushed. Once I had found my dress, she even helped me get an idea of what kind of accessories I might want to go with my dress. Thank you Yasmin for making this such an amazing experience.

First thing first I said yes to the dress!!!
They opened the store 30 minutes earlier for my appointment and this was a night before I went in.
I came in and went over my plans and budget and was greeted very warmly.
I was shown the different dresses that fit in my criteria. Although what I really (thought I) wanted was almost impossible to find. I tried just one dress and I knew this was it. I teared up and decided not to try the other dresses I had picked up to try. This was it!
And I knew it, and my partner knew it.

I said yes to the dress!
Samila Boutique was the third salon I visited to try on wedding dresses. I had found dresses and aspects about dresses that I liked, but they just weren’t “the dress”. After browsing through thousands of dresses online and trying on at least 40 others, I had a very specific vision of the dress I wanted. I wanted an A-line, all-over traditional lace dress, with a little bit higher waist, straps, sweetheart neckline, and I wanted to be able to breath in it. I walked into Samila Boutique with my mom and sister for my appointment, we were greeted immediately by Taylor, who told me she’d be helping me try on dresses. She took us to the dressing rooms toward the back of the salon, to a beautiful room where you’re surrounded by elegant wedding gowns, sparkling chandeliers, and comfy couches- this place is gorgeous. Taylor asked me what I was looking for in a dress, I showed her some pictures, and she went off to find some options. In the meantime, she had communicated with Yasmin (the operating partner and lead stylist) who picked up right where Taylor dropped off. Yasmin sat down with us and went more in depth with us about my dress and Taylor came back with some options. I immediately fell in love with the lace on the first dress I tried on. Yasmin recognized that I was a very visual person, so they ended up manipulating the dress to fit every aspect I was envisioning in a dress to ensure I could really see it - and oh man, did we see it. There were tears from all of us! It was truly a “say yes to the dress” moment, which I thought I wouldn’t have. They are now making me my dream dress. Taylor and Yasmin were the dream team. Even though my appointment ran over, they never made me feel rushed. Making the sale was not the priority, making sure I was happy and that I got everything I dreamed of in a dress, was. No other salon I visited created an experience that was comparable to the one I had at Samila Boutique and no one provided the same level of concentrated customer service. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am so appreciative of Taylor and Yasmin, I cannot thank them enough.

My Dream Dress
Samila is the only dress shop I found that had a dress I actually liked. Their dresses are unique and very high quality, and they were able to custom design my dress so that it was exactly what I imagined, with no hassle.

Saved The Day!
I had ordered my original dress online. Big mistake, huge! I received my "online" dress just 8 weeks before my wedding and it was so unwearable I do not even want to donate it. I emailed Samila on their closed day and they got back to me right away and provided the link to schedule an appointment. They got me in the next Saturday and had dresses waiting based on the preferences I had filled out in my "interview" form before the appointment. The very first dress I put on was the dress I choose. Also to note, I hate shopping, let alone wearing dresses. This experience was amazing! I felt so comfortable with Taylor helping me and Yasmin was great making sure I will get my dress in time. I am also running into an even tighter timeline with unexpected medical issues and they are making sure that I will have the fittings done within that schedule as well. Just amazing, I recommend anyone looking for that perfect dress starting here!! Thank you so much Yasmin & Taylor!!!

Great dress shopping experience!
I have driven by Samila Boutique a number of times since I work in the area. I was excited to see them at the Seattle Wedding Show and signed up for a shopping appointment after they sent their follow-up email. It was very quick and easy to find a date and time that worked, and I was able to bring an additional three friends for no cost. Everyone at the shop was very friendly, and it was a relaxing environment to try lots of dresses on! Taylor was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind, and my friends and I had a blast. The fitting area is adorable, complete with signs for your entourage to express their thoughts on each dress (Love it!/Hate it!). I didn't find THE dress, but I found lots of beautiful options and felt amazing doing so.

More Than I Could Have Asked For!
I had a fabulous wedding and bridesmaid dress experience at Samila & Co. Yasmin and her team are incredible to work with and make the process easy. At my bridal consultation I showed Taylor pictures of what I liked on Pinterest then she went to the rack of wedding dresses and pulled one out and it was exactly what I was looking for and more, I fell in love with it on the hanger! After putting it on she helped me find a veil to complete the look and give the dress the extra touch I didn't know it needed. During the same appointment the Samila & Co. team went out of their way and let my maid of honor from out of town try on a bridesmaid dress which was unplanned but so helpful. I later returned with the rest of my bridesmaids to order their dresses and Yasmin spent time with each of them helping determine what would be the best size to order considering the trends of how sizing works with the company we were ordering our dresses through. She even emailed my maid of honor directly to get her measurements as she is in another state- taking the burden off of me! When I later had questions about my order and the color I selected Yasmin was quick to respond and put my mind at ease. I can't say enough good things. Make sure Samila & Co. is on your list of stores to visit you won't regret it!

Samila Boutique helped me find the perfect dress for my November 2019 ceremony! Yasmin was helpful, attentive and very knowledgeable in her recommendations for sizing, alterations, etc. She really made the appointment a fun experience for my mom and I - she made sure we have lots of photos to remember the moment I said "Yes to the dress," and we had a great time using their photo booth!

It was such an amazing experience finding my perfect dress! I had a large group so we had a private appointment and there was champagne and I even got a little gift too! The consultants were great really got what I was going for and were able to laugh along with my family! It was such a great day!

A little on the pricier side, but combined with their knowledge of what silhouettes might look good on you or how a dress could be altered to exactly what you want, Samilas was worth every penny. The difference between Samilas and David’s Bridal is night and day. Everyone in my wedding party who went to davids bridal first ended their appointment feeling terrible about themselves, and at the end of everyone’s appointments at Samila’s they left extremely happy and self confident. A lot of us ended up going with dresses the stylists picked out that we never would have picked off the rack. The alterations specialist even completely redesigned my veil from my mother’s veil to fit more of my style. I wish I had a reason to regularly wear evening gowns because I honestly loved all my experiences at Samila’s!

Wow wow wow! This place has stolen my heart. I knew I had to go here after 3 of my dearest friends purchased their bridal gowns here and had nothing but wonderful things to say about their experience! Now I get to write my own (is this real life?!)
This was the first (and now only) place I went to look for my dream dress. I loved that after I booked my appointment, they sent me a questionnaire, getting more details about my special day and getting familiar with what styles of dresses I gravitate more towards. That way when I got there we didn't have to spend too much time on that and get some dresses on! Of course, everyone there doesn't mind chatting as well! The moment I walked into the boutique, I was greeted warmly by Yasmin and some other ladies at the front desk. Everyone working there is so warm and encouraging! The atmosphere is so fun! My guests felt so welcomed as well. My consultant, Perry, was so awesome! She kept us laughing and had answers to all our questions! Not to mention she was so accommodating when I asked to see more dresses a couple of times and when my appointment went over time! When I put on the last dress, I knew it was the one. But me being the woman I am, I still had to mull it over a bit with my family and friends at lunch. We discussed and went back into the boutique, asked some questions, shared my fear of FOMO (since it was my first dress shopping I had done) but Yasmin put my mind at ease right away without being pushy or seeming like she just wanted me to buy the dress to make the sale. She was kind, encouraging and spoke like we had been friends for a while! She is personable. And she was so gracious, she immediately asked if I wanted to put the dress on again. And Perry was so excited to see I came back to put the dress on again! And then that was it! I said yes to the perfect dress! I'm so thrilled to know that I can share in this experience with my family, friends, and the amazing crew at Samila!

I visited Samila boutique during a special sale and found this perfect size 14 tie back dress which comes with beautiful boning, a detachable train ona beautiful delicate belt! It’s A LOT of dress and I paid less than $1000 for it! Unbelievable deal and I am SO HAPPY I found Samila and met Pari and Yasmin <3
There are so many options here, you are going to find your perfect dress! The dressing area is beautifully set up with big mirrors, nice lighting, and lots of space for your party to sit and hang.
One last thing, I really appreciate the team (Yasmin, Pari and the lady at the front) for staying late for me as I call my mom to chat over the options.

Samila saved my wedding dress shopping experience. I had impulsively purchased a wedding dress at another bridal salon and was gun-shy about being pressured again. Samila Boutique listened to my concerns, made me feel comfortable and showed me wedding dress options that exceeded my wildest dreams. I found a dress that makes me feel spectacular! Yasmin encouraged me to “sleep on it” before purchasing and has been beyond helpful with answering questions. I had looked for a dress at two other places (and a million websites) before coming to Samilas. I felt like I was never going to find THE dress, just dresses that I kind of liked. But I found my dress here! It's gorgeous and unlike anything I had found at other shops. The stylist who helped me during my appointment, Taylor, was great, she really helped to narrow down my search and find exactly what I wanted. Yasmin helped take my measurements for getting the dress custom cut to my size and she was so friendly. The photo booth and I found the dress pictures were so much fun and really helped make the dress shopping experience amazing. I highly recommend going here to find your dress!

My experience at Samila was more than I could have ever asked for. Being a plus sized bride I was so fearful of having to try on dresses that were way too small and made me uncomfortable. This wasn’t the case at all! Every single dress I tried on I felt beautiful and I actually had to choose between several when deciding on the one! Deidre was such a great consultant and really listened to my vision and was very very respectful of my budget (even pulling away a dress my wedding party picked because it was over budget). I ended up saying yes to the very first dress I tried on and it was right on budgeyt! I highly recommend this boutique to brides of all sizes, with all different tastes and with any budget! I’m still beaming a week later from the experience I had at Samila.

I found my dream wedding dress at Samila Bridal! (During their March Madness sale)
I had a wonderful experience here. I went in one day by myself and then came back another day with my family. Yasmin and her team were so sweet and helpful. I never felt any pressure to make a decision. Had a great selection of dresses, all within a a reasonable price. Loved that I was able to take a look around the store and pick out dresses to try on.

Going to Samila Bridal was the best experience I could have asked for! I am planning a Seattle wedding from Seoul, and only had 6 days to find my dream dress, for a wedding 4 months out. To put it lightly, I was a bit stressed. I emailed Samila Bridal and they booked an apt to see me, my bridesmaids, and my mother in a large area of their showroom. Yasmin looked at my Pinterest board and pulled dresses I had pinned. She also walked me through the dresses and helped me pull ones that caught my eye. She was extremely professional and listened to EXACTLY what I wanted. I tried on 2 dresses, and then found my dress! I started to cry as soon as I put it on! I did not think I would have that reaction! I tried two more dresses on after my dress (to see white on-white and to get sleeves out of my system), but couldn't wait to get back into my dress. Yasmin explained the whole order process to me. She rushed the dress to fit my timeline and explained that the entire dress was being custom made to fit my exact measurements, all for no extra charge. I happily canceled the other 5 salons I had booked, because I couldn't have pictured a more perfect dress, or experience to match! I cannot recommend Samila Bridal enough! Thanks to them, I can walk down the aisle and dance all night long in the dress of my dreams!

I live in downtown Redmond and always admire the dresses Samila has displayed in their windows. After getting engaged on Christmas Eve, I decided to start my dress hunt there. The shop is surprisingly large inside and has beautiful formal and bridal gowns. Deidre was my bridal consultant and she was fantastic! She started by getting an understanding of me, my venue and taking a look at dress photos I had brought. By the end of my appointment, I had several options I really liked. Luckily, I was able to book an appointment to come back the next day and, within 30 minutes, said yes to the dress! I'd highly recommend Samila Bridal to anyone. The shop is organized with an extensive selection and the staff was very friendly, supportive and fun.

Although I ended up purchasing my dress elsewhere I knew without a doubt that I wanted and needed to review Samila Boutique and Yasmin in particular. I chose this shop for my first dress appointment and WOW it simply could not have gone better. Yasmin made me feel comfortable and beautiful in every dress I put on. She made my guests feel welcome and appreciated and that’s just the beginning! As a bride I ‘thought’ I had a very specific style of dress in mind. Yasmin embraced my vision but also followed her own gut and put me in some dresses I NEVER would have considered trying on. I couldn’t be more grateful for this because I ended up with a style very different to what I had imagined and it’s the perfect look for my figure. I visited 3 shops after Samila and can honestly say that none of those experiences came even close to the one Yasmin provided. I kept finding myself wishing she was there with me throughout my entire journey. Her professionalism is out of this world! You can tell immediately that not only does she carry gorgeous dresses but the salon is perfectly lit, the space is inviting and comfortable and they have all the necessary accessories to make choosing your wedding day look perfect! After I had finished my appointment had found what I thought was going to be ‘the one’ I looked over and noticed Yasmin quietly and thoughtfully walking through the shop and continuing to accessorize my look for the next appointment. This act was touching to say the least. She put my hair up for me, wiped my happy tears and hugged me. These personal touches will never be forgotten. I will most certainly be going back to work with her on bridesmaids dresses and mother of the bride looks. I will recommend this to any future bride I come across. My first dress appointment was my FAVORITE one and it’s sll due to the loving and personalized professionalism Yasmin shows her guests. Thank you, for all that you did for me. My experience at Samila's was beyond my expectations. My bridesmaids and I were welcomed right away and taken straight to their gorgeous showroom where they had such a HUGE selection of Bridal gowns. The gowns were organized by style so it was easy to look through and compare. They went straight in to asking me what I liked and if I had any pictures of dresses that I like. They pulled out some great selections of dresses to try on that mirrored my vision. They never pulled a dress over my price point. I was about 3 dresses in before I found "the dress". Because this was the first bridal dress store that I attended they encouraged me to look around and said that if I wanted to come back (even same day) to call them and they would accommodate their schedules for us. So I did go to another appointment I had that day and eventually came back to Samila's. They let me bring my whole 9 person bridal party and my mom back to the showroom, try on the dress one more time and eventually I said "yes to the dress"! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone getting married. You will not be disappointed. They were friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. I look forward to working with them through the whole process. I even set an appointment to look at bridesmaid dresses. Go to Samila's Boutique and you will NOT be disappointed.

Such a great experience! I worked with Yasmin and Pari to find my wedding dress. This was my second time trying on dresses and I wasn't entirely sure what style I was looking for. They were great at showing me different silhouettes until I found something I loved. I was originally looking for a long sleeve, lace dress but ended up going with a strapless mermaid style.
I was running low on time so they were making sure all the dresses I loved were available to order in time for my wedding. They also showed me a few off the rack dresses, and I actually ended up buying one that was on sale which was a huge plus for me! They have a large selection of belts to pair with the dress as well as other wedding accessories!
I would definitely recommend this salon for wedding dresses and they also have a large selection for prom dresses (which I have purchased in the past).

I was blown away by my experience bridal dress shopping at Samila! I am a plus-sized bride and had visited one other boutique before finding Samila. While the other boutique had ONE dress that was my actual size (and a bunch that I couldn't even tell how they'd look because the sizes were so far off) Samila quickly pulled 10+ gowns for me that were exactly the right size, then had more to choose from once they understood my style selection! Yasmin, the dress buyer, was on hand for my appointment and would listen to my thoughts on dresses, then make suggestions to the employee helping me for which to try next, etc. She was incredible!
I truly love the "Custom Cut" option that they have for some dresses. With this, I was able to get the right length, right neckline (modified sweetheart vs standard sweetheart), a sweetheart armpit (goodbye back fat!), and straps added IN ADDITION to the dress being cut for my specific bust/waist/hip measurements. After hearing what some friends had to pay for alterations, this will save me SO MUCH money! I loved that I had the option to buy the dress in-store or do custom cut - since I had the time to wait, custom cut was a good option for me. Yasmin knew so much about styles, trends, fabrics, etc that I was given a good amount of options to choose from without feeling overwhelmed.
I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to friends/family for stylish dresses for all sizes. Don't settle for a big box store if you're concerned about having options in your size/price range - Samila is able to work with what you're hoping to find!

Yasmin asked me if I had any pictures of what I was interested in and actually reviewed my postings from Pinterest. I was unable to schedule during their big sale but they honored the discount for me the next weekend. Pari assisted me during the appointment bringing me more dresses depending on my response to what I was trying on. She got me to try on a different style which ended up helping me find my perfect dress. I highly recommend this boutique!!!

Everything about my experience was memorable. I worked with 3 staff members and all were exceptional! This boutique had so many wonderful options in all price ranges was clean & adorable, and was full of wonderful people. What more could you ask for!?! The dress I ended up getting was the dress I just couldn't get out of my head and the ladies I got to work with went above and beyond any other shops we went to!! I definitely recommend and I am so happy I said Yes!!! to the dress at Samila' s boutique!!

I absolutely LOVED working with Yasmin and Pari at Samila's in Redmond. I had planned a "bridal gown extravaganza" weekend, due to my mother-in-law (to be) coming all the way from Texas to be apart of the festivities. Samila's was the second boutique of the first day and I was still very nervous about trying dresses on. Immediately, Yasmin warmly welcomed us into her very crowded shop (dresses everywhere, and being that it was homecoming, a lot of teenage girls also dispersed throughout) and guided us through rows of dresses to a very private and well laid out bridal boutique. I filled out a questionnaire and talked to Yasmin about what I thought I was looking for and we walked through the many GORGEOUS wedding gowns together. Pari, my consultant for the day, joined us after finishing up with an indecisive teenager and we got to work. I had so much fun with the different dresses and silhouettes; both Yasmin and Pari were so helpful in guiding me to my perfect dress, which is very unique and completely opposite of what I thought I was looking for (I was originally looking for fitted and ended with a very romantic, one-of-a-kind A-line/ballgown). I actually was having a hard time deciding between 2 dresses and they put me in both dresses multiple times and allowed me to take my time.
Since I had found the dress I never knew I needed, I called and canceled the other appointments I had the following day; nothing was going to compare to what I found.
I could not be happier with my dress and my experience, and I HIGHLY recommend visiting Samila's Bridal to find your perfect wedding gown!

I loved Samila Bridal! I ended up getting my wedding dress here last winter and it was perfect come the big day.
Before coming here I went to I do Bridal Too and Bellevue Bridal. I probably tried on 30+ dresses before finding the one at Samila.
Yasmin at Samila was hands down the most professional person that I had dealt with through the whole process. She made it such a great experience but also put so many things into perspective for me realistically while with others felt like I was purely playing dress up. From the get go she wrote down everything that I was looking for. We went for all the dresses in the my price range. I wish I could remember the blonde woman's name who helped with putting on the dresses on but she was so great!! I found a great trunk show dress with her help and I was immediately wowed. Yasmin was tooo good. When I had it on she went through the checklist from the beginning and it was slowly being revealed that it was every single thing that I was looking for. It was sooo gorgeous!
I am one to admit, I'm a bit of a frugal person. I'm never one to wear something just because it's expensive. I definitely had to think it through since this was the most I'd ever be spending on something I'm wearing. Wedding dress or not, I like to be as realistic as I can financially. Being that it was a trunk show dress and only there for that weekend I got a great discount on it! The quality made me look like I was wearing a $5,000 dress! It was much, much, muuuuuuch less than that. After having a drink over it with my moms and bridesmaids it hit me that I really was never going to be a be able to find that great of a deal and if I did it'd take me a lifetime. I went back and they got my measurements right then and there (AND THEY WERE CLOSED!) They measured me for a custom cut and cost wise suuuch a great deal compared to other alteration places.
Overall every employee at Samila was so warm and kind especially the owner herself! Love them!

I am so happy I found my wedding dress at Samila Bridal Boutique! I'd been looking for a dress for about 7 to 8 months and this was the 7th place I went to. My consultant, Ashley, was absolutely amazing to work with and was wonderful at helping me find my dress and gorgeous veil. Yasmin was also very helpful and kind in the purchasing process and even offered to pack my wedding dress up in a suitcase to bring back to the Midwest where I'm getting married. Overall, everyone at Samila was very attentive, warm and welcoming . There was no pressure to buy anything and they were super accommodating at making additional appointments and answering questions. I am so happy (and extremely relieved) to have found the wedding dress of my dreams! My dress also happened to be on super sale which was the cherry on top :)

I've been a loyal customer at Samila for over a decade. I have yet to find a store that rivals their unique gown selection and unfailing customer service. As a concert violinist with a regular need for concert gowns since my teens, I've searched for "the perfect gown" countless times. My most frequently used gowns are all from Samila - I've never worn one and not been complimented by multiple people.
My wedding gown search included the web, every boutique in Bellevue, Nordstrom Wedding Suite (Seattle), BHLDN (Houston), even Kleinfeld and RK Bridal (NYC). All were underwhelming: bland, lacking personality, unnecessarily $$$... certainly not "me". (I'm accustomed to gowns, so I'm picky.) Of course I ended up at Samila with Yasmin.
Yasmin is the most dedicated, talented, knowledgeable fashion consultant I've ever worked with. Her gowns are unique because she personally attends fashion shows worldwide, handpicks her favorites, and makes them her own. Most importantly, she's always honest and professional - our long-standing acquaintance never affects our business relationship. Yasmin goes out of her way to accommodate my busy travel schedule, even if it means meeting at odd hours, texting overseas, and opening up the store just for fittings when I'm in town. She gave me an extra fitting just days before my wedding and rushed a major unexpected alteration (I'd lost weight), all for free - and alterations usually take over a week. That's nothing compared to all that she's done for me over the past decade, but it demonstrates her dedication in always putting her customer first, no matter the circumstance.
I was touched during one fitting when I chose to buy a large $170 hairpiece with little jewels shaped like leaves and flowers on flexible vine-like wires, but Yasmin insisted on giving it to me as a gift. Another time, I mentioned my need for a garter (in passing), and she just pulled one off the shelf and gave it to me.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this store! This was the second place I went wedding dress shopping and, honestly, it should have been my first. I had a great time with Samila's! I made an initial appointment with them and they worked with the time cruch of only having an hour. It was also my very first dress appointment. I had several others with different stores but decided to go back to Samila's and bought the second dress I tried on! Yasmine and Ashley were wonderful and I felt no pressure to use their alterations after purchasing either.

Samila Boutique is seriously the best in the Seattle area! After visiting almost every other bridal salon in the greater Seattle area, I was feeling discouraged after still not finding a dress that looked good on me. But the ladies at Samila were FANTASTIC. They considered my body type, what I liked/didn't like, my venue, basically all aspects of my wedding to help me pick out dresses to try on - and I found an amazing dress in a style I hadn't considered that I absolutely love! They made me feel wonderful and pretty and like a bride, for the first time in this whole dress shopping experience. Thank you Yasmin and Ashley!

We had an incredible experience sat Samila shopping for my wedding dress. We scheduled an appointment and fell in love with one dress, but had three appointments scheduled the next day. They were so accommodating, professional, and warm. They set up a follow up appointment for us the next day and let us bring our entire (loud) entourage in so they could all see the dress we'd found. They were patient and knowledgeable, and I knew I could completely trust them. The entire experience we felt so taken care of and listened to. Samila is an amazing place to shop for your wedding dress.

I enjoyed the whole experience at Samila Bridal. We were thankfully able to get an appointment last minute during the week. It has been 20 years since I got married and I forgot you needed an appointment. My mom and sister were in town from the East Coast and I wanted to share this experience with them. The store looks small from the outside but it isn't. They have a great bridal exclusive area and we were taken back to choose some dresses to try on. They have a well thought out selection that offers many choices of gorgeous dresses without being overwhelming. I tried on over 10 dresses, some several times and I found about 4 that looked great on me and we gave them lots of names like The Outlander Dress and Winter Wonderland in order to tell them apart. In the end I had a unanimous winner. It says it all that my 14 year old son was having a great time participating. Pari, who helped us, was experienced, personable and lots of fun. I am so pleased we ended up at this store. It is close to home and they are doing a custom fit dress for a very reasonable price. Thanks Yasmin and Pari for making me a beautiful bride!

Pari helped me select and try on gowns and accessories. She was integral to helping find my DREAM gown. Not only that, she was sweet and honest. I really love her. Also, Yasmin answered my email questions while she was on vacation and was very sweet too. Yasmine is amazing!! She helped me find my dream dress and went above and beyond in doing so. I was in love with a dress I tried on there, and an image of a dress. She let me in hours before the store opened to try on a makeshift version of the dress I loved in the image to give me a general idea. Getting to compare two dresses like that was amazing. I am in love with my Calla Blanche Valerie dress and cannot wait for it to arrive.

She attentively listened to everything I wanted in a dress and I immediately spotted my dream dress that I had been hunting for in so many other stores. The price was extremely reasonable as well! I am so excited for my dress to come in. Yasmin even took the time to allow me to try on numerous accessories while giving me great ideas and advice.
