Had such a great time!

Had an amazing experience planning our wedding at Salvatore’s riverwalk. Everyone raved about the food! Marci our wedding planner was great and accommodating throughout every step!

Best day of our lives

We went to Sal's because our parents wanted us to. We were pretty sure it was well put of our budget, but were pleasantly surprised to find it was actually affordable. We booked our date as soon as we could and began working with Marci. We are so happy Marci was there to help us plan our day, anytime we had a question or sent an email, she responded so quickly and took care of whatever we needed. She reassured is that everything would be taken care of and set up In-person meetings to make sure we were 100% satisfied. She went above and beyond on the day of our wedding and really brought our vision to life and then some. Everything was gorgeous and she really highlighted all the work we put into decorations. Marci even went as far to help me clean stains off my dress when I immediately spilled food on it. We seriously had the most perfect day, it was better than we ever imagined it could be and we attribute a lot of how smoothly things went to Salvatore's and Marci. We may even start an anniversary dinner tradition.

The best day!

We cannot thank our wedding coordinator Marci, the owner Mike, and all the staff at Salvatores enough for making our wedding day beyond what we could have ever dreamed of! From day 1, Marci was so helpful and accommodating to us. We made a lot of changes especially towards the end of our planning and Marci was extremely patient and kind to us during the whole process. Marci brought us out apps during group photos to make sure we were all eating. She even packed up leftover food from the buffet for us to take home. Our guests are still saying they had the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and they are so right! We had a late night pizza buffet which was absolutely delicious as well. The price is also very reasonable for the venue/ what’s included. I would 100% recommend Salvatores to anyone looking to get married. It was the best day of our lives!

Amazing Views, Delicious Food, & the BEST staff

We had our wedding at Salvatore's on July 13, 2019 – a gorgeous sunny day, perfect for a ceremony on the beautiful deck attached to the function hall which overlooks the river. From the moment we scheduled a tour to the wedding day itself, this was an incredible experience! Marci (the event director) was amazingly helpful, kind, and quick to respond to any email throughout the entire planning process. She handled any change leading up to the wedding smoothly and she and the Salvatore’s staff managed the whole set up of the function hall. They did an incredible and flawless job making every detail look so elegant. The function hall itself has a beautiful modern vibe to it and everything looks brand new. The food at Salvatore’s is unbelievably good! We chose the buffet style dinner to give our guests flexibility (for dietary needs such as gluten free and vegetarian), and our families are still talking about how amazing the food was that night! And you know how everyone says “at your wedding you don’t get to eat, you’re so busy and next thing you know the food is gone”? Well that doesn’t happen at Salvatore’s! Not only did Marci and the servers make sure we had everything we wanted for dinner and they didn’t take our plates away without asking first, but they also packed us a midnight snack of food to take with us! Such an appreciated thing! The servers were incredible, professional, friendly, and were even singing along with us at the event. The bartender is of course a party’s best friend, and while we didn’t pick signature drinks of the night he definitely found one that everyone loved and kept asking for (blue long island iced tea). We are really appreciative of everyone’s help in making our wedding amazing! My husband and I have talked about this several times since the wedding, Salvatore’s was the perfect place to have our wedding – everything was above and beyond our expectation and we are so very happy!

Went above and beyond my expectations!

I can not say enough good things about Sals, Colleen McManus, and her staff!!! We had a big outdoor wedding in October, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The day ran so smoothly and ahead of schedule. The room was set up perfectly with 2 buffet stations and 2 bars, to keep the lines moving quickly. The dance floor and the tables were spaced out nicely and, didn’t feel crowded at all. This was one of our main concerns with 180 guests. They also set the deck up with cocktail tables durning the reception. It gave people the option to sit outside and enjoy cocktails and cigars without all the noise. It was perfect and everyone loved that!

I meet Colleen at a wedding expo and was excited because Sal’s had the exact charm we were looking for. I knew when booked the venue that we were in good hands and I had nothing to worry about. Colleen was very attentive and answered all my emails and calls very quickly, and gave us some great suggestions. On the day of the wedding she was racing around everywhere to make sure everything was taken care of and that the guests were comfortable. Joe the bartender was charming to all of our guests and everyone loved his personality and drinks!

Fernado the chief was amazing!! All of the food came out piping hot and was delicious. I got so many messages the next day saying,” It was the best food they have had at a wedding”! My husband is Haitian and we wanted a few items that had an island feel. Fernando certainly delivered that, people were raving about everything he cooked. It was awesome to be able to incorporate both styles of food at our wedding! We were so busy chatting with all of our guests we barely had time to eat. Colleen was so thoughtful and packed up our food for us to enjoy later that night, and it hit the spot!

If you are considering booking your wedding here don’t wait!! The food, service, venue, and value are outstanding. You will not be disappointed! We also love that we can go to the restaurant and enjoy dinner and reminisce about our special day!!

Perfect Wedding

We had our wedding at Salvatore’s Event and Conference Center in October of 2018 and we are beyond pleased with the overall experience!

Marci, the event coordinator, is not only the nicest and most caring person to work with but also the ultimate professional. She is knowledgeable, responsive, and intuitive. I am so grateful to have had her by my side for the entire wedding! She not only calmed my nerves but diffused any and all near glitches. Simply stated: Marci is the best.

As a wedding venue, Salvatore’s is the best value around. We received many compliments on the food (even from the pickiest of guests). The staff was great and everyone loved the bartender Joe!

I will forever recommend Salvatore’s! Thank you for a beautiful wedding!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the hard work you and the staff at Salvatore's did for Hayley and George's wedding last Saturday. It was absolutely perfect!! So many people commented to me how beautiful the venue was, how fabulous the food was, and how magical the night turned out! We had our wedding reception at Salvatore’s and I can not rave about them enough. From the get go of planning Marci was amazing and answered every question I had, every request was answered with a “yes of course”. She makes the whole process so easy and right away I had complete faith in her that my day would be amazing. I am a control freak and love planning parties but I knew right away that my wedding was in the right hands with Marci it took a lot of stress off me. Her and the staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcomed and made sure they catered to everyone’s needs. We received so many compliments on the food. It was absolutely delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. The bartender is so entertaining he is extremely good at his job and everyone just loved him. Salvatore’s made our wedding day absolutely magical.

For the money you really can't get a better venue! Colleen was so friendly and flexible during our entire planning adventure. I'm a frantic person and pretty scatter brained and she helped me the whole way. From keeping me focused to helping me stay calm she was top notch at all of that. We have a centerpiece snafu and she was gracious enough to allow us time the morning of my wedding to drop it off. I can say that the guys at the wedding enjoyed having the balcony to escape to throughout the night as well.

Salvatore's did an outstanding job making my reception a day to remember. The food was delicious and the people who helped put it all together were friendly, professional, and well organized. The room was stunning. I really enjoyed the water feature and how the room overlooked the Merrimack River. I also fell in loved with the old mill history of the building. I had no bad experience and neither did my guests. Everyone had positive things to say after the reception. I'm very happy overall. It was a great pleasue working with them.

I would definitely return if I'm looking for a venue in the near future for an event.

We had our reception here after having a church wedding about 10 minutes away. We live in Boston and wanted to find an affordable AND beautiful option for our wedding. Salvatore's was PERFECT for our reception. We worked with Colleen who was excellent since our first phone call. She was patient while we made our final decision on the venue, SUPER knowledgable, and really just fun. The day of the wedding, Colleen check in on us every hour and made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed (drinks, food, info). She even gave me eyedrops for my contacts. The food from Salvatore's is EXCELLENT (we also were able to have a delicious tasting about 6 months before the wedding). They even gave us two huge plates to take home which was very helpful late night after the reception. Guests enjoyed the beautiful patio, food, and the space overall. One of the best parts about Salvatore's is the price. This was hands down the least expensive venue we visited (and frankly one of the nicest venues). Thank you to Colleen (!!!!!!!) and the entire Salvatore's family for making our wedding dream a reality. Love, Jess and Justin (July 8, 2017).

Everyone had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. The staff was so nice and everything was just perfect! I I was able to plan my event from Texas. They were even able to accommodate my father's food allergy to milk. I highly recommend this venue!

One week has passed since my daughters wedding at Salvatore's, and I am still thinking about the fantastic experience we had at our venue. Colleen was amazing, meeting all our needs throughout the planning process, which involved coast to coast organizing with my daughter who lives in Washington State, as well as myself as mother of the bride here in Andover. All aspects of the event were just what we wanted, and we were happy to support local business as lifelong members of the Merrimack Valley. From the ceremony on the deck, the attention to detail, the food, as well as the awesome bartenting by Joe, we were thrilled with everything. I received so many compliments throughout the night from so many guests, who came from around the country to celebrate with us. Thanks to everyone who made my daughters wedding so wonderful!

This review is long overdue. We had a same sex wedding at this venue. Our experience from start to finish was beyond amazing and welcoming. We had 200 people and everyone is still raving about our food, service, atmosphere and staff. Every woman felt like the mother of the groom. We customized our menu. The food was outstanding. They exceeded our expectations and then some. The service was exceptional. The staff were on top of every wish. Marci the event planner could not have been more accommodating. She handled every guest need, made sure both of the grooms were taking the time to eat and brought us plates of food, she visited every table making sure all huests were having the times of their lives. Her presence was definitely felt and appreciated by all. The staff was an extension of this. Each guest complimented the Server in their area. The place is beautiful. The deck is a special touch for a spring, summer and early fall wedding. I recommend this place for your wedding and all you event needs. The cannot thank Salvatores Lawrence and more for making our wedding more memorable and special to us and all of our guests. They are calling it the wedding of the century. We will definitely be back and referring you to all our friends.

Salvatore's and Colleen were amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process! While we are from the area, the groom and I lived across the country from MA throughout the wedding planning process. Colleen was responsive to emails, and always accommodating when we were in town and able to work around our schedules. Colleen was extremely helpful and clearly experienced in all types of events. She had seen the good, bad and ugly, so her opinion and advice was priceless in planning. She was prompt and reassuring, and even answered my 3am emails with grace and professionalism. Rehearsal Day / Day of her and her team were extremely organized and prepared. They consistently made sure the bridal party / parents were fed and always had a drink in their hand. She kept the day running according to schedule and on time. They were able to deal with our large and loud family without a hitch. We were allowed to come day before and set up all of our personal items which was helpful and reassuring to a bride at that point! Per usual, the food was amazing here, and we got many compliments on it! The buffet line was quick and efficient and there was plenty of food for everyone! Sal's is perfect price wise, especially for new and young couples, you get A LOT for your money, and you do not have to worry about a thing! Since the rooms are so unique, you also do not need a lot of decor, due to the amazing windows / brick walls. We went the day after and they had all our personal items organized and on a cart for us to take out which was super great! We can't thank Colleen and her team enough for all they did for us!

From the moment we went to look at the venue we were greeted with smiles, a sense of humor and they made us feel comfortable the entire time. Working with Marci and Salvatore's was an absolute pleasure from day 1. Responsive, professional, flexible and attentive. I would highly recommend using them for any event. A great deal, great food and friendly staff all around. Went perfectly smooth and as planned!

Marci and Salvatore's gave us the best stateside reception when we got home from our destination wedding. They were extremely accommodating, punctual, organized, and quick to respond. The event went smoothly, the view off the deck was beautiful, and there was more than enough food. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and would reccomend Salvatore's to other couples.

I could not have asked for a better venue than Salvatore's for our wedding. The location is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff are absolutely wonderful -- we had a big wedding and a small budget and I can assure you, you will not get a better bang for your buck at another venue. I worked with Marci, who made the entire process stress-free and was always there to answer any of my questions. The day of the wedding, she made sure that everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Without hesitation, I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married!!

Words cannot describe how happy we were from beginning to end. My partner and I were a little nervous going to venues because it was a same sex marriage and we were not sure who and how the different places would react. Salvatore's was the first place we went to and after meeting with Colleen we knew this is where we wanted to get married. We looked no further. Colleen was by our side throughout the whole thing she made sure EVERYTHING was PERFECT. I admit I was not the easiest person to deal with as far as making changes so close to the day but she made it happen. Michael was also AMAZING we met with him and he was so personable and also did whatever he could to make us happy. We even had our rehearsal dinner here because they knew what we wanted and how we wanted it. I could go on and on but the overall point is ALL of the staff was friendly and professional. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious. My guests are still talking about it a week later. We can't wait to have another function here there will never be another place like this one. Thank you so much Colleen and Michael and all of the staff for making our day a PERFECT MEMORY!!!

The wedding manager was exceptionally attentive to all our needs. She always returned my calls and emails promptly and explained everything thoroughly. On our wedding day everything was perfect. The food was incredibly delicious.

My husband and I had a destination wedding but had our reception at Salvatore's when we returned home for family and friends. We had an amazing time and they did an amazing job. Guests were commenting all night on how delicious the food was and how great the staff was especially the bartender. Colleen our party coordinator was beyond available when it came to the planning process, I never waited longer than a day for an email or phone call back. She also set up all the décor so I didn't have to stress over one thing, everything was stress free! Most of all the price was right! If you are looking for a fun affordable venue Salvatore's is the place!

We held our rehearsal dinner here and couldn't have been happier with the staff, food, and venue itself. Everyone I worked with in planning the event was so helpful and responsive, and really helped us make the dinner happen as we wanted it to. We had a smaller group so were in one of the rooms in the restaurant, but viewed the function rooms as well. I would recommend this place as a great spot for any function, wedding-related or otherwise. Professional, friendly staff, and the food is great. We had great feedback from our guests.

Our decision to have our wedding at Salvatore's was the easiest part of planning our wedding. As soon as I walked in, and met Colleen, I knew it was the right place! Colleen was extremely helpful and on the ball. She knew exactly what to do and could answer all of my questions with a confident response. She was prompt in getting back to my emails/phone calls and made herself available for as many appointments I needed as well as when I had my occasional impromptu visits. The day of, she took care of EVERYTHING. I am not kidding when I tell you the ONLY thing I had to think about that day was enjoying the celebration. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, she was right there to help with whatever we needed. We had originally planned to have our ceremony outside on the deck and the reception inside (with no backup plan in case of inclement weather). Of course it was scheduled to begin raining right at 5pm when the ceremony was at 5:30. Within minutes, Colleen and her crew, broke down some of the tables and set up chairs to make for a beautiful ceremony indoors. None of the guests would have ever known it was supposed to be outside. It was absolutely gorgeous. Afterwards, the chairs were removed and the tables put back up and I swear it was like someone just waved a magic wand. The food and food service was amazing. Everyone raved about the food. We had passed hot appetizers, a pasta station (where each guest was able to create their own dish and it was cooked to order), a carving station with roast pork and late night pizza! During the cocktail hour the servers were always checking in with me to make sure I was all set. Colleen made sure my husband and I ate dinner and had a table reserved for us since we had a cocktail style wedding with no assigned seating. Being reminded to eat was probably the greatest thing Colleen did for me because I was just so busy and chatting with everyone that I probably would have never made time to enjoy the meal.

Amazing! My wedding day and every day leading up to it was stress free. Colleen was amazing and so helpful! Everything I thought and hoped my big day would be it was. The food was unbelievable! People are still talking about it months later. The venue is beautiful and I would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding/reception/shower at Salvatores!

When we were in the planning stages of the shower, Colleen was very friendly and answered all our questions. I grew up in Lawrence and thought that it would be nice to have the shower right there where I grew up and it was such a nice place to be right on the river. Colleen kept in touch frequently to be sure all was in place for our event. When we needed an extra table, she gladly added it to our list of items needed. On the shower day, everyone helped us to make it the best shower ever for my daughter by helping us with the little things such as getting an easel for her welcome sign, helping prop the cake up so it could be visualized better and closing the shades for the video. We will be back in the future.

I had my daughter's Bridal shower there. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived to set up. The staff helped us with our cake to make it more noticeable. When we needed anything, they were right on top of it. The food was more than delicious and we had plenty. I would do it again any time at Salvatore's. Just wished we could have sat on the deck for a drink after the shower and enjoy the peace and quiet along the river but the girls needed to head out to the Bachelorette party and us with all the lovely gifts.

Colleen and Marci were amazing! We arrived a bit late coming from the ceremony and they knew just what to do to keep the night running smoothly. Colleen gave us so much wonderful advice and suggestions. The food was delicious, the sunset view was amazing, and it was the overall perfect venue. I'm so happy we chose Salvatores for our wedding celebration!

Colleen and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for our wedding - even though it was a very small one (only 50 guests). We had our ceremony on the deck and it was set up beautifully and Colleen made sure it went perfectly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was quite tasty and they accommodated one guest that required a special meal without batting an eye. The bartender was entertaining and made everyone laugh.

So glad that I did my wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore's. Everything was great and the night was memorable! The food is amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous the balcony is absolutely perfect for a ceremony. Colleen was great! She is professional and really went out of her way to make my day go by smoothly. The staff and servers were very professional and did awesome. All my guest couldn't say enough good things about them and they really had a good time. I highly recommend Salvatore's for a wedding location you won't regret it.

Salvatore's Riverwalk Function Facility did an amazing did job with our ceremony and reception for our wedding. We worked with Colleen and she was the best. You can tell she loves her job because she is so excited about weddings and all the pertain to them. The food was amazing and everything ran on time. All of our guests had a great time and most didn't know that Salvatore's held wedding functions and were surprised at how great of a job they did. This building and view over the Merrimack River is beautiful and you won't be disappointed with the staff and how easy they make everything for you. I plan on using Salvatore's again in the future and recommend them for all functions.

We had our daughter's rehearsal dinner at Salvatore's and were extremely pleased with how it turned out. The food was excellent, the staff and service were great, and the room itself was very nice. Colleen did a fabulous job organizing our rehearsal event. She went out of her way to help with the rehearsal process since the host venue could not accommodate us.

The customer service/expertise we received while planning or wedding, quick response times anytime we had a question or concern, and at wait service at the wedding were extraordinary. I found when booking Salvatore's, the event and planning manager to be beyond helpful. She helped me with understanding the importance of trying to keep things simple and to make sure I as the bride keep things the way I want it. The place is beautiful. The room we are using has a very classy feel, and the deck has a amazing view of the river and old mills. Being born in Lawrence, the fact that i can have those beautiful old buildings as a backdrop makes me very proud.

We had our wedding reception at Salvatore's and it was amazing! The staff is very easy to work with, the food is amazing and great value! The best priced place that we looked at! This is a must visit if you are looking for venues. The best part is the room doesn't look like an old ballroom from a hotel, its beautiful with the brick walls and huge windows.

Everyone at Salvatore's did an amazing job accomadating my wants and needs. Colleen, the coordinator there does a great job and is so helpful. I had so much fun on my wedding day and had no worries. I would definately reccommend Salvatore's for any and every event!

Everyone loved the food and venue overall. Positive comments were that it was the best shower they have ever been to. Bartender was the best! Awesome food! Negative comments made were that the drinks were expensive. I tend to agree. Couch should not be placed in front of the windows due to picture lighting issues. I noticed that too but it was too late to move things around. Lastly, the bread was over cooked.

I would highly recommend Salvatore's!

Salvatore's, and Colleen, our event coordinator, we're wonderful. Colleen was very helpful...and patient! Food was great, room looked beautiful, and service was wonderful. The down size was not the price per person we paid, but the taxes we paid. 18% administrative fee is exorbitant! and along with the other taxes involved added up to 25% extra on our bill... our price per person went from $25 to almost $32.

Our wedding at Salvatores was just perfect! All of our guests remarked how fantastic the food was and how funny our bartender was. While we had hoped to be married on the deck outside, mother nature did not cooperate. We were able to get married on the dance floor in front of a screen that we had made.... Everything was quite lovely!!

Our high school class just held our 30th reunion at Sal's. We had a very good experience. The staff was professional and courteous. The food was good. Our event planner was excellent and organized. She was very willing to work with us and help us with any problems that arose along the way. We needed to accommodate a classmate's dietary needs and they were very willing to work with us. The event space was nice. I would hold another event here again.
