Jennifer at Salt Cake City was one of the kindest, most professional, and responsive people I worked with while planning my wedding and I am SO glad I chose to have her do my wedding cake. The cake turned out exactly how I pictured it (rustic/boho/wild flower vibe) and everyone was raving about how delicious it was! We decided to do a 3 (6-9-12) tier all different flavors (chocolate on top, red velvet in the middle, and lemon poppy seed on the bottom) for ~130 guests. All 3 were absolutely amazing but oh man, the lemon poppy seed tasted just like home and I cannot recommend it enough! I've been eating it for breakfast every day since the wedding! You will not regret choosing Salt Cake City! -

Jennifer was amazing! She was super helpful, responsive, and the cake and cupcakes were super delicious! We ordered carrot cake and ruby red velvet cupcakes. Our cake was old fashioned and Jennifer recommended we add caramel creak to it. I’m so glad we did! It was delicious! I will always recommend Jennifer to any of my friends or family looking for someone to make their cakes! -

We are so glad a friend told us about Salt Cake City! Jen (owner) was so fun to work with. We were planning our wedding from across the country and Jen went above and beyond to ensure we had the best flavors, size of cake for all our guests, and design to match our "travel" theme. She is so creative in her flavors and is not afraid to mix and match. She took our vision and crafted a wonderful multi-tiered cake. Cake is meant to be enjoyed and Salt Cake City makes sure everyone will!!! -

The cake was delicious, she was very easy to work with, very open to listening to me and what I wanted for my cake, the decoration on the cake was exactly what I wanted. It was all a very smooth process and would definitely recommend! -

She was wonderful to work with and our cake turned out just how I envisioned it! I initially went with a different vendor but was getting frustrated with lack of communication. I decided to contact Salt Cake City for our wedding cake and right away, she responded and was very helpful answering any questions I had. Our cake turned out so delicious and moist. We received many compliments from our guests. I would definitely recommend Salt Cake City to anyone looking for a wedding cake. -

I absolutely LOVE wedding cake! It is my favorite dessert and i was sooo not disappointed with ours! Jennifer is absolutely amazing! She is so easy to work with, does a great job and created exactly what I wanted! Our cake was everything I dreamed it would be! It looked amazing, tasted terrific and everyone just raved about it at our wedding. One of my best friends doesn't like cake or sweets and even had a piece because everyonewas telling him how wonderful it was! Jenniffer made my dreams come true with this cake! I loved it so much that my husband promised to get me a smaller cake from her every year for our anniversary! I'm so excited to get to try more of her exciting flavors, it was so hard to just pick 3 for our wedding cake. I HIGHLY recremend Salt Cake City for your wedding, you won't regret it! -

I don’t know how such a beautiful cake can also be so delicious! Sooo many compliments!
Also, Jennifer was a joy to work with. She helped me nail down all the details and times without a single hitch. Plus, we live out of town so we had to orchestrate all of this via email. But when I saw my beautiful cake I almost cried. And when I tasted it, I wanted to steal an entire tier and go eat it the dressing room by myself!

We had no cake left at the end of the wedding because it was ALL EATEN. Holy moly. We're going to have to have Jennifer make us a cake for our 1 year anniversary. Thank you so much!

Krista Sent on 06/24/2018First I should say that our wedding cake was very important to me. I wanted it to be a beautiful and delicious centerpiece at our wedding. Thanks to Jenn it was both! Unlike some other wedding bakeries around town, Jenn had an extensive list of cake flavors and combinations. We were able to serve six different flavors at our wedding, which was really fun. She sat down with us to review our options and provided yummy cupcake samples of six different flavors. She also corresponded with me over email as I changed my mind again and again. She was very patient! In the end, she recreated a cake design that I loved. She did an amazing job. I am so happy we chose Salt Cake City for our wedding!

Nathan Sent on 10/18/2017Jennifer was an absolute doll to work with. My husband and I decided to do a small wedding cake and cupcakes for our wedding. I think the taste testing was the hardest part because she has SO many delicious flavors to choose from. We narrowed it down to 4 cupcake flavors and she helped us come up with how many to order. Her set up before the ceremony looked amazing. We were all over the place at our wedding and we didn’t get to have any of the cupcakes. Luckily my mother in law had some saved and after 10days from the wedding, they were still moist and just as delicious!!

Jennifer Sent on 06/14/2011My cake turned out exactly how I wanted it! Jennifer is just amazing. I had printed off a picture of how I wanted my cake to look and took in paint samples for the colors I wanted used. She did a perfect job! My favorite part was doing the cake tasting at her house. We were able to pick 3 flavors in advance of what we wanted, and then she had an extra few flavors in addition to ours. She served us full size pieces, not just a little square, and they were absolutely delicious! We ended up choosing all 3 flavors we had originally picked, which were White Almond, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Chocolate Hazelnut. The other thing we loved about Jennifer was that she was able to do only the top layer of the cake as real and do the other two as fake. That way instead of having to chop up my beautiful cake to serve, she made us sheet cakes to serve. Nobody knew the layers were fake and we were still able to do the traditional cake cutting for the bride and groom into the top layer. I loved my cake!!
