Salon & Spa 18 was the perfect choice for hair and makeup on my wedding day! Joanna and Peggy were absolutely amazing from the bridal trial to the wedding day. They listened to what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup, not only did Peggy listen to my concerns but she also explained everything she was doing. She helped me to find the perfect style which helped me feel gorgeous on the big day. Joanna is so personable and genuinely cared about making sure everyone was satisfied with their hair style. Everyone in my bridal party wanted a different style and she nailed them all! I received so many compliments and it still looked stunning at the end of the night. Both stylists were so much fun to be with and completed their work with plenty of time to spare. They really helped to make me feel calm in the hours leading up to the wedding. I would highly recommend Salon & Spa 18 to everyone; their prices are very reasonable and they travel to you.

My husband and I got married in December 2022 and Wing Wong and Salon and Spa 18 for our hair and makeup. The whole team is absolutely INCREDIBLE! They came highly recommended from our wedding venue, Pawleys Plantation, and I can absolutely see why. Wing made the entire process so easy and stress free, and has very reasonable prices, especially compared with how crazy expensive wedding vendors can be. He answered all of our questions very promptly and met with us as much as we wanted. We had a total of 14 women who needed their hair and makeup done and they made everything go soooo smoothly, we weren't rushing at all! He made my hair and makeup trial and wedding day perfect and we couldn't ask for any better. We cannot recommend Salon and Spa 18 enough to everyone we know. Thank you for the best wedding EVER!!!!

Salon & Spa is a must for your wedding! the team is amazing! from every step of the way! communication , timeliness , but most of all work product! Truly made our day so special! Wing and his team went above and beyond for our wedding in August (mind you humidity is no joke in SC) my hair and makeup looked just as good at the end of the night as it did in the beginning! Wing and his team are the BEST! Salon & Spa 18 was recommended to me by my mother and I had heard nothing but great things from others! Wing is awesome with communication/response time, the contract is super clear, and he takes the time to understand exactly what you are looking for. His prices are very good for the quality of work you receive. On the day of the wedding, Wing and his team were on time, had plenty of people, and created gorgeous hairstyles for my bridesmaids, my mother, and me. We were all so pleased! Salon & Spa 18 was the BEST
We had a very small/casual wedding in the heat of the SC summer sun. Wing and his team made themselves available at 7:30am so all our hair & makeup would be perfect on a hot, humid, beach day! They were extremely accommodating and attentive to each of our style needs. They reminded via email numerous times how to prepare for the day! We had 4 adults and 3 young girls, they did a fantastic job making the experience special for the kids too, all while not missing a beat styling us ladies. I can’t say enough about Wing and his team, they were professional yet fun to be with on a very special day! Our group left the salon absolutely delighted with how stunning we all looked, glamorous and gorgeous yet still natural which was the goal.

If you are looking for a wedding hairstylist you should look into the service Wing can provide. I was first introduced to his work at the Bridal Expo in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was styling VIP Brides-to-be for complimentary quick hairstyles. He spent a little more time on my hair than I believe he anticipated and I did feel guilty for taking up so much of his time with my thick mane, but it was so worth it!! I was very impressed with what he did in 15/20 minutes (see photos). I visited him and Salon 18 for a few special occasion hairstyles and eventually booked him for my rescheduled wedding in 2021. He is an expertise, paying close attention to details, and just knows hair well!! I highly recommend Wing and his team!

Wing and his team are the absolute best!! I had a group of almost 17 (bridesmaids, MIL, MOB + grandmothers) and they made every single one of us feel stunning. The team was a well oiled machine come wedding day and I, the bride, did not have to worry about a thing when it came to the timeline. The team kept us on time and no one felt rushed. We even had a little extra time to enjoy champagne before heading to the venue. One of my bridesmaids said "this is the first time I've been a bridesmaid and actually like the way my hair and makeup was done!" So glad that I was able to have Wing and his team at Salon & Spa 18 for hair and makeup on the day of my wedding! My photographer recommended them, and I'm so glad we followed her advice! He and Mary (makeup artist) were able to easily coordinate so that I could do my hair and makeup trials the same day, and make sure we were all on the same page before the wedding. Wing was very responsive and quick to provide me with the next steps in order to make all go smoothly (ex. contracts, follow up questions regarding numbers/locations, etc). He thought of everything that I had forgotten (ex. time to allot for travel, extra gals around the house wanting hair/makeup the day of) and was able to provide expertise regarding what kind of styles would work best for my hair of those I had in mind (in regards to length/thickness/texture/etc). Mary is so talented with makeup, and was able to match what myself and each bridesmaid wanted in terms of styles/colors/etc. Both my hair and makeup stayed in great shape all evening (despite the humidity). Even with more bridesmaids/family members wanting to get hair and makeup than we'd planned for, Wing and Mary had brought plenty of talented staff and were able to get us ready in plenty of time!

I went to Salon & Spa 18 for the very first time to have my hair done the day of my sons wedding. When we arrived at his beautiful salon we were greeted by Wing. When I sat in the chair he asked what style I was looking for & he took it from there. Wing is such an absolute pleasure to work! He styled my wedding hair, my mom and two children (ages 11 &14) and we were all thrilled with our results. The kids are still talking about how much fun it was to have their long hair styled professionally.
Wing suggests that the bride get a trial run before the wedding and I agree. I had a beach wedding on a Sunday during a pandemic! Everything turned out amazing and my hair and makeup was the bomb. I had five flower girls plus myself. All of my flower girls was 9 and under so they had their hands full but the stylists were patient and understanding!

i’m a bride whose wedding was effected by covid-19! unfortunately i had to postpone my original wedding date and then had to cancel that date. :(

Our wedding was to be held on 09/13/20 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
It was to be a destination wedding. We booked Salon & Spa 18 on 03/03/20 after seeking out recommendations. Wing was our contact person throughout all of the planning. Unfortunately, because of the Covid outbreak, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the wedding due to the health and safety of our out of state guests. Wing could not have been any easier, accommodating or gracious to work with. We had booked the salon for 10 updos AND it was on a Sunday!
Wing could not have been more understanding and prompt in returning our very large deposit. when we cancelled on 07/13/20.
I am extremely grateful to him for all he was willing to do for us.

Wing Wong and his team are the BEST when it comes to hair. Wing is such a perfectionist! My hair was beautiful and held through the entire night, even when we took pictures in the hot July weather of South Carolina. Wing and his team were attentive and they listened to what me, my mother, my mother in law, and my bridesmaids wanted for our hair. They made sure it looked perfect, felt comfortable, and lasted all night. We all received endless compliments on our hair all night.
I did a consultation and trial with Wing as well, and it was definitely worth it! We worked on my hair and talked about what I needed to do with my hair. My hair was exactly the way I wanted it on wedding day!!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
Wing made sure I was relaxed and calm the entire wedding day while we got ready. I truly felt like I was receiving the VIP treatment. He's sweet, and cares about his brides. That was so evident in how he treated me, my family, and my friends. He takes his time and is so eager and ready to make his brides and their family and friends feel BEAUTIFUL. I truly feel that Wing was excited for me!!! He is literally one of the nicest people I have ever met!
I highly recommend Wing and his team at Salon & Spa 18 for any brides, or anyone who has a need to have their hair styled!

Just what I pictured!

Wing and his team are top notch! I got married on October 5, 2019 and had 7 total girls use hair and makeup services from Salon and Spa 18. Hands down one of the best decisions made when hiring vendors. Each girl got make up that complimented their features perfectly all while making sure it would show well in pictures. Everyone had an inspo picture for their hair and the stylists captured each vision perfectly all while making it their own. I couldn't have asked for a better team to make getting ready so seamless. They stayed right on schedule and even added a last minute make up service for one of the ladies which was so nice to do! I highly recommend hiring Salon and Spa 18 for any hair/ make up needs. Wing exceeded my expectation in every way. I chose him based on the glowing reviews, and he was professional from beginning to end. Wing can make magic! He can do absolutely anything you ask! He was so easy to work with and super sweet. My girls and I looked beautiful! He coordinated the makeup artist as well which checked another task off of my list. I have known Wing for years, and as a Myrtle Beach native I can say with confidence that he has built quite a reputation for himself over the years. I would say that most of the grand strand would agree with me when I say he has a very unique and amazing skills with hair styling! Wing and his team did our hair and makeup for my wedding on August 9, 2019. Wing stayed in constant contact with me until the day of and always presented himself in a professional manner. The bridesmaids all had different hair styles and everyone looked gorgeous. Wing brought his team directly to our venue so we didn’t have to travel everywhere the morning of the wedding. He could not have made that process go any easier. My hair hair was stunning! Wing gave me a romantic updo with baby’s breath.
The makeup artist was a gem. Myself and most of my bridesmaids do not wear foundations or powders normally, but the artist made our makeup lightweight and flawless. She really knew how to draw out our beauty and was an absolute delight to work with.
I would recommend Salon and Spa 18 to anyone. Not only is Wing talented with wedding updos, but he and his team are fantastic at hair coloring and cuts too! I’ve been going to Wing for years and will continue for many more to come.

I live in CT and planned my entire wedding in Myrtle Beach from home, and all from recommendations! Crazy! We got married at 21 Main Events at North Beach (which is awesome BTW) and they recommended Salon & Spa 18 as a preferred vendor. As soon as I reached out to them the team was extremely responsive and supportive with my questions, concerns, etc. Being from out of town there is an added level of anxiety with going by your gut and trusting the reviews. This team put me at ease! We made a visit during the Christmas holiday break and Wing went out of his way to make sure I could have a hair and make up trial, at my hotel! The staff was on time, super nice and professional and had great ideas. On wedding day we added some extra guests who wanted services done and they were awesome about accommodating! Great team, very professional and reliable, and great work! Joanna did our hair and was awesome and so down to earth! Mary did our makeup and was professional and very talented! They were so helpful and were able to accommodate me and my bridesmaids mains. They came out to my wedding site for a very affordable price, unlike other places I was looking into.
I had Sandra as my hairstylist, she and I communicated a lot leading up to the wedding. We had a pre-wedding trial, she was amazing and we got along great. She nailed exactly the look I wanted on my wedding day.

From Chicago I was planning a destination wedding in Myrtle beach at Pine Lakes Country Club. I originally hired salon 18 for just make up services for my wedding day. In a pinch at my make up trial with Peggy I asked Wing if I could add hair services for 8 girls. The salon bent over backwards to help. Sandra came to the rescue to do my hair and most of the other bridesmaids, even Wing stopped by the venue to lend a helping hand. All the services from salon 18 including the make up from Peggy and Juli and hair by Sandra and Wing was AMAZING. These are the people you want on your special day!

Wing and his staff did an outstanding job on all the girls hair for my wedding. We had 12 girls and 2 moms whose hair had to be done all before the wedding and we were all beyond impressed with the artistic work that was done by Wing and his team. They were all super friendly, easy to talk to and amazingly talented. All of the hair stayed throughout the wedding and reception, despite the humid Myrtle Beach weather. I would highly recommend this salon for your everyday hair needs as well as your wedding day hair!

Wing Wong was awesome! Everyone's hair looked great! He had talked to me about adding something to my hair but I never followed up as I was so busy with other wedding things. He went and picked up baby's breath for my hair in the morning which was a very nice gesture. I appreciated the thoughtfulness. He was also understanding about being under a time crunch to start the ceremony on time and we were able to talk about payment afterwards. I would highly recommend him!!!

Wing at Salon 18 and his team did an amazing job with my bridesmaids’ hair and especially mine! Everyone’s hair held up all night even in the SC humidity! Wing put in my highlights before the wedding and matched them to my hair extensions perfectly. He was very meticulous with every piece of hair making sure everything was perfect and in place. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received during and after the wedding and from people who saw it on fb. And to top it all off, we had a blast with Wing and his team the day of while we were getting ready. They really helped to relieve everyone’s stress. Thank you Salon 18 for making my bridesmaids and I look like princesses!!

Wing was THE BEST!!!!! I have very fine hair and can never get it to curl or have volume myself. I went into my trial preparing to have Wing guide me on what kind of extensions I need to buy in order to get a full updo on my wedding day. Well, I don't know what kind of magic he's doing, but he made it look like I have A LOT of hair! I couldn't have been more pleased. The team he brought for the bridal party the day of were also impressive-one of the bridesmaids said it was the only time she'd ever had someone know how to work with naturally curly hair. Wing's talent speaks for itself, but it was lovely to have someone so kind and warm on my wedding day. Thank you, Wing!

I called Wing at Salon and Spa 18 in a last minute panic to book make up artists for a wedding in just a few weeks. I was desperate and Wing stepped in and was so helpful along the way. Their prices are some of the best prices for make up in the Myrtle Beach area, but their customer service even beats that. They were professional, kept me up to speed on everything, and helped organize timing for all the bridesmaids and bride. The make up lasted us all night and the artists did a beautiful job. They catered differently to each individual and their needs and we never felt more beautiful! I wish I could get my makeup done by them every day! I recommend Salon and Spa 18 to any bride or bridesmaid, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again guys!

Mr. Wing added me to his schedule on a pretty short notice for my wedding hair. He did a wonderful job and I felt so spoiled being so well taken care of. I came from out of town, and I would love to come back and have my hair done by him again next time I come just as a treat. No regrets!

Wing and his team of amazing hair and makeup artists did an AWESOME job on my hair and makeup on my wedding day. They also did the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids, mother, and some of the ladies in my husband's family. You can go to the salon for this work or they will come to you for a reasonable on location fee. They worked efficiently to ensure that everyone's hair and makeup was done on time for photos and the ceremony, and everyone was happy with it the first time so no re-dos. Wing and his team work magic and give you Pinterest perfect hair and makeup. I didn't know my hair was capable of looking the way it did on my wedding day.

I cannot say enough great things about Salon and Spa 18! We needed ample time for all of my bridesmaids, daughter, my mother and I to all get our hair and make up done and they finished with ease! We all got numerous compliments throughout the evening! I will say it POURED on us when I wanted a beach photo (which we got!) and my hair stayed impeccable and makeup still flawless! Wing and his employees are so friendly and have an amazing eye for beautiful hair and the skills needed to get it done!

This was by far the best experience I could have asked for! Mr. Wing and Juli were FANTASTIC! They made all of us look so beautiful. I have never felt so pretty in my life. He was so flexible, kind, and professional. He was able to take last minute additions without a hitch. I could not have asked for a better Stylist. It's hard to go to a destination wedding and feel comfortable with someone new, but I wish that Mr. Wing could come with me wherever I go now! He put all of the reservations to rest. I can't describe how amazing I felt. All of my bridesmaids, my mom, grandma, and stepdaughter were so radiant. Mr. Wing and Juli did such an amazing job. I had my hair done at Spa 18 for my wedding. I came to Myrtle Beach for a destination wedding so I had to do all of my planning via telephone. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and I had a great experience. My hair looked great and was able to withstand the wind on the beach! The rest of my wedding party was very satisfied with their up do's too! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for style for a wedding or any other formal event.

I had a destination wedding and my friend recommended going to Salon and Spa 18. Wing Wong and his staff took their time and listened all of the ladies wishes. Within minutes they brought out the beauty in each of us.

Not only was he super flexible a few weeks before my wedding when my normal hairdresser canceled my trial hair appointment and he squeezed me in but he also worked me into his schedule for a regular hair cut and color after the wedding right around the holidays just to make sure I was happy!!! He does amazing work and his coat is very reasonable. I would refer anyone to wing and his staff is super friendly and welcoming to new clients :)

I found Wing and his excellent staff though a close friend who works with them ! Very personal with the bride and bride maids....caring ....easy to work with! Wing was relaxed and there was never a stressful moment! Easy to commiucate with too! I highly recommend them!
