Both my and my husband's families have been going to Sal & Dom's for decades, so there was no question that we would go to them for our wedding desserts. People raved about the Italian cookies and pastries - everything was fresh and delicious, as always! We asked if they could do a giant cannoli stuffed with mini cannoli as our "wedding cake" and they did not disappoint. Literally a highlight of our wedding. Nothing but love for Sal & Dom's. Still some of the best cannoli in the Bronx. Thank you!

Our wedding was on 6/30/2018 at Mulino's at Lake Isle, and they have a contract with Sal & Dom's Bakery for wedding cakes. I am so happy we ended up going with Sal & Dom's instead of choosing another bakery ourselves. I wanted a 4-tier simple white cake that would then be decorated with flowers from our florist. I chose vanilla cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries for the filling. The cake was beautiful and all of my guests were raving about how great the cake tasted! I'm not a big cake person myself, but I ate the entire piece because it was so fresh and delicious! The cake looked great with the flowers and we were so happy with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!

Excellent Cakes!! My venue had a contract with Sal and Dom's, After all the weddings we have gone to and trying their cakes I knew we couldn't go wrong. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I must have changed my design 3 times and gave me up until 2 days before my wedding to change my mind! We highly recommend them. Their fresh strawberry filling with whip cream made a hit! Thank you so much Sal and Dom's Pastry!!

They were able to create the most beautiful nautical wedding cake for me. It wasnt on their list of cakes they designed. It did not cost extra for a custom cake. They cake itself was also delicious! I did not even want to save my cake until next year. We ate the cake over the week after our wedding!

As always, Sal & Dom made amazing desserts and most of all a beautiful cake for our wedding. They recommended amazing flavors that were just what we were looking for. We went through their website and found a design we liked and they found the exact color we needed! Day of the wedding, the cake was absolutely beautiful and oh so tasty! We absolutely loved it. I've been going to their bakery for years and always loved it but this cake absolutely was amazing.

Beautiful and delicious. My cake was amazingly perfect in every possible way. Thank you to the staff at Sal & Dom's but mostly a big thank you to Carlo. He designed my cake, he created it and he went himself to Villa Barone Manor to deliver and put the finishing touches on it. EVERYONE said that the cake (marble cake) was delicious but they couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful it was. I am a perfectionist so a perfectly sculpted cake was a must at my wedding. Carlo from Sal & Dom's made sure that my cake was perfect, it didn't even have a single flaw. Thank you Carlo from the bottom of my heart for giving us such a beautiful wedding cake to always remember. We'll be by soon for some cakes and pastries!!!!!!!

Sal and Doms had the best desserts and cake ever! Our Viennese table was the best. I went in one day to pick out my cake, and it did not take me very long at all to leave with the perfect filling, cake and design! I love the family business, and the fact they have been around for years.

Our cake was awesome. I loved it so much I ate my husband's piece of cake as well. Need to order a small one just so he can taste the cake.

every reception hall i went to look at i asked right away where do you get the cake from? becuase i knew from the time i was a little girl that i would only have a sal & doms cake!!! when i went to the marina del rey they told me that they would take care of ordering my cake and i responded " oh no thats ok ill bring my own" Because I only eat from Sal & doms..they laughed and said thats where we get our cakes from...so i knew it was meant to be lol..they have the most incredible cakes and cookies..i travel an hour down to the bronx just for them!!!! that cake boss has nothing on sal & Doms!!!

Sal & Dom's is our local bakery and I would not think of going to any other place to order my wedding cake. The wedding cake was beyond exquisite and the taste was delicious. I have used Sal & Dom's for numerous occassions from birthday parties to showers and everything in between. I would highly recommend them to furture brides if they want the wedding cake of their dreams!

Want the best bakers in the Bronx... then you must go to Sal & Dom's Pastry shop on Allerton Ave! They have the best cakes, pastries and cookies!!!

I had heard from my MoH that they had made a cake for her friend and that this friend just kept coming back from CT. So we went over and looked around, found a cake and placed the order. We had the cannoli and chocolate mouse; before we left the shop we ordered two cannolis and I almost passed out; IT WAS GREAT. I was glad we ordered the cake from them. My guest also loved it.
I will say I thought it was a bit expensive but its a wedding cake and my friends said the price was about right.

Before I put my order in for my wedding cake, My DH and I tried their red velvet cookies and their carrot cake and ooooommmmmgggggggg I fell in love!!! Their cakes were very moist and delicious. At my wedding, my guest ask my where and who made my wedding cake. My DH and I was very satisfied and so were my guest!

I used Sal and Doms for my wedding cake. My husband and I made an appointment to meet with the owner Carlo on a Sunday morning. Carlo was extremely patient and helpful. He spent over an hour working with us to create the vision I wanted for my wedding cake. We went over every detail, and every detail was written on the invoice as well as a sketch he made of how the cake should look. When we left there I felt very confident that my cake would look amazing! However the day of my wedding when I saw my cake I was a little disappointed because one the bow we wanted was centered on the cake instead of being on the side of the cake and two the second tier of the cake was completely missing the swirl design that was supposed to be on it. Now I understand mistakes happen, but after our appointment with Carlo I really did feel confident the cake would be perfect, he was so thorough and attentive not to mention EVERY SINGLE detail of the cake was written on the invoice. So I’m not quite sure how those two details were overlooked. But other than that complaint. The cake did taste great at least!

I'm not a big cake person, but I was certainly impressed. I wanted something simple, but elegant and Sal and Dom's created just that! My wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous and the whipped cream filling was amazing! My wedding was just a little under a month ago and I am still getting compliments on my cake!

Sal and Dom was the Pastry Shop that our reception hall uses. My maid of ordered my shower cake from them and she order a napoleon which is what I wanted for my wedding. I was happy because I was able to taste the "wedding cake" before the wedding and I must say their napoleon is out of this world! FRESH AND DELICIOUS! When I went to the pastry shop to discuss the decoration of the cake I told them I wanted something very simple and I showed them a picture. A child could have done a better job. The roses on the corners of the three layers of the cake were not very pretty it looked like an amateur had made them. The cake was really good and everyone complimented us on the cake the next day but they could have put some more effort in the decoration. I would recommend them for everything except their decorating skills.

Horrible - made me upset on my wedding day

Would give 0 stars if I could. My wedding venue Marina Del Ray partners with this bakery so they confirmed with them 1 year before my wedding that they could make my dream wedding cake- they told me they could for an added charge of 600 dollars which I gladly paid. All year I was so excited for this cake. The day of my wedding when I saw it I was super disappointed. It looked like a cheap knockoff version of my cake. My matre d who was absolutely amazing immediately got them on the phone and the baker told him to put me on speaker. This baker was completely nasty to me on my wedding day telling me it looks exactly like the picture. I was standing with 7 other workers from the Marina who agreed with me that it looked horrible compared to picture. This baker continues to tell me that basically I’m blind and to him it’s identical. Obviously I’m aware at this point there’s nothing that could be done but I would have at least expected an I’m sorry or we’ll make it right in the future or something .. not call me blind. So I was so upset on my wedding day. Do yourself a favor and don’t use this bakery.
