Sacred Stone was the perfect place for our wedding! The rustic romantic feel of the barn and the outdoor venue locations were everything my husband and I wanted! Lisa was also the best to work with, she made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it! -

I loved everything about Sacred Stone. It is such a gorgeous place in the country. The bridal suite is breathtaking. As a bride, I was particularly excited she included tables, linens, chairs, and decorations! And for an incredibly reasonable price! It made the wedding day so much more stress free! We didn't have to bring hardly any decorations. It helped everything run so smoothly while keeping the wedding on budget! -

I will start this review off by saying that this venue is INCREDIBLE. The views alone are amazing. Almost every time we went up thee for meetings or just to drive by we would see deer in the rolling hills. This venue has everything a bride can hope for. Lisa is hands down one of the most amazing people I have met in my lifetime. I always expected wedding planning to be chaotic. With Lisa's help, I had almost zero stress. She is on top of everything and helps lead you to the most beautiful wedding. She is an expert in what she dows. Her personality is so calming and positive. Our wedding day was everything I had dreamed about and more. It was definitely an added bonus to have the deer roaming on the hills in the background as we said "I Do" on the hillside. I will forever be grateful for Lisa and her incredible team for making our wedding so successful and beautiful. -

Lisa is amazing
I wish I could come up with a better word than amazing for how Lisa handled every little detail of my wedding. Sacred Stone is BEAUTIFUL and stunning, and every guest I had complimented me on how gorgeous the venue is. Lisa had every answer to every question and pulled off every task I requested of her. She was so laid back and made everyone feel comfortable during rehearsal and helped the wedding flow very easily. She does not stay by your side the entire time but she does check in a few times to make sure the wedding and reception stay on track. Everything about my wedding turned out perfect and exactly like I had planned, and if it didn't, I sure didn't notice because she was on top of it!
Sacred Stone itself is jaw-dropping. Guests were excited to see deer in the rolling hills, the sunset was in the perfect spot, the wooded nook was perfect for a first look and bridal portraits, the barn and Willow tree can be a perfect look whether you're going for rustic, bohemian, elegant, or anything else. Everything is set up in a fashion that makes sense and is easily accessible. Lisa even made sure my handicapped guests had special parking at the top of the hill.
I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and a more perfect venue. I can only say good things and so much more about Lisa and Sacred Stone! -

When I first met Lisa she was so different than any other venue owner I had met. She was so genuine and sweet, we were immediately sold. Lisa showed us around her venue and talked to us about everything, but she didn’t come across as a someone trying to sell us something. Lisa also did our florals and did a fabulous job. She was flexible and got our ceremony setup inside at the last minute with an extraordinarily stunning backdrop for us. She handled everything with ease (and I mean EVERYTHING). She is so professional, easy to work with, and genuine. We absolutely loved her! Lisa went above and beyond for our special day! -

Everything you ever hope your big day will be
When we decided to get married closer to Nashville than back where I am from in the Midwest, I knew I still wanted my wedding to be outside in the greenery. My husband and I met in the woods at an outdoor theater so we had wanted a space that lent to that. Not only was the space stunning but how much you get for the price you pay is unbelievable. Lisa (the owner) is also available to do your coordinating and flowers. We ended up doing both with her and are so thankful for it. The instant we knew we hired the right person and venue was when she asked what was the most important thing on our day and our response was to have fun with all of the people who love us and it be as stress free as possible. She delivered on both of those things. Our flowers were incredible, the space was decorated to the nines and we are just so thankful we found this place. It has a special place in our hearts forever. Thank you Lisa! Our day was perfect because of your care and we will be forever grateful! -

I cannot brag on Lisa and Sacred Stone enough! I loved every single second of planning my wedding here. Lisa was super easy to get in touch with and she was really involved and dedicated to making my day exactly how I wanted it! She also did my flowers which took loads of stress off of me and they turned out flawlessly. I would relive my wedding day over and over here if I could. Lisa and her team did everything and I was really able to relax and enjoy my time pre wedding with my bridesmaids. PS the bridal suite is to die for! -

A+++ from beginning to end! Lisa is a joy to work with; great communication and great ideas! The day was perfect and the venue is beautiful. You have some choices as to exactly where you want to say your I Do's, from a shaded area to an area in front of a giant weeping willow. I especially loved the spacious upstairs loft where the girls get ready. The guys have a nice room as well . If you are looking, and is available, I would grab it. -

From helping with vendors, beautiful flowers, coordinating, music and planning, Lisa can absolutely do it all. If you are looking for a wedding venue, this is your venue.

From the first moment, driving been the historic stone walls outlining the secluded road surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, I was hooked. The beauty here must be seen to be fully appreciated. With multiple outdoor ceremony options and a flexible, upscale "barn"-type indoor area, this venue is perfect.
Plus, the Akins are super easy to work with. Lisa is extremely helpful with suggestions & ideas, and her floral skills are perfection.

From the rustic, but elegant, interior banquet room to the amazing scenery in every direction outside, this is the perfect wedding venue! However, Lisa, the venue owner and wedding coordinator, is the gem that makes this venue stand out from all the others! Lisa goes above and beyond what is expected to provide everything the couple wants and more! Bethany and Cody had the wedding of their dreams in large part due to Lisa and her team. She is an inspiration and such a positive influence that I can’t imagine going through this past year of planning without her direction and encouragement. Bethany and Cody had a wedding experience beyond our expectations and we will cherish the memories from that day forever! In short, choose Sacred Stone! You will not be disappointed!

From the moment you pull up the driveway, you are completely captivated by the beauty of the venue and scenery. We instantaneously knew this was THE ONE! Meeting Lisa was just the icing on the cake. Her professionalism and eagerness to help in any way she could was above and beyond what we could have ever hoped for! We weren't just "another wedding" to her and that is something we are forever grateful for. The venue and property speak for themselves, but having the owner treat you in such a manner that you feel like you're the only couple getting married there is immeasurable. We couldn't have imagined a better experience than the one we had at the BEAUTIFUL Sacred Stone. -

Meredith Sent on 08/28/2012Lisa Akins created the perfect aura for my wedding day. I had a Celtic inspired wedding and it's very difficult to produce that in flora, but Lisa pulled it off. I had a rather large wedding party (for me, 6 maids and 1 junior--for him, 6 groomsmen) and a smaller altar area at my venue. So I told her I just need the altar area to be very simple because the wedding party is going to act as the decoration. I had a simple drape over the alter with old "rod iron" lamp posts to give the church a rustic Celtic chapel look. My bouquet was very simple Hand-tied bouquet of white anemones, hydrangea, ranunculus, lisianthus, and stephanotis accented with green tea roses, herbs, Bells of Ireland and lily grass loops.
My reception was mirrored after an Irish pub, with simple table decor but lots of texture with moss, curly willow and other green elements. Due to the number of people coming, I chose 3 differnet centerpieces to circulate around the tables so they were not all the same.
1) Black Lantern with white pillar candle. Floorof lantern will have moss and pebbles. Pebbles will also be around the lantern as well as votives flanking the lantern in various sizes. Votives will hold both candles and other textural elements.
2)Tall slim cylinder filled with river rock, moss and curly willow flanked with votives.
3) Manzaneta branch inside a wooden box covered in moss. Hanging from the branches will be small crystals and green amaranthus.
The entire evening was magical. Lisa captured the very essence of the event and I would recommend her for and special event. -
