The Missing Piece

Trish is extremely reliable, responsive, and helpful beyond compare. She was the missing piece in my wedding and helped me create the ceremony of my dreams. She helped us with everything from applying to get our marriage license to creating a perfect ceremony, all the way to running rehearsal smoother than I have seen anyone. Wedding Officiant

What can I say. Trish was absolutely fantastic. She is extremely organized and helpful every step of the way. She tells you how to apply for your marriage license and gives you the information you need to apply. She offers probably close to 75 pages of ceremony options you can utilize or just to help you craft your own unique ceremony. We had multiple phone calls with Trish along the way of planning to ensure that we had our ceremony crafted just the way we wanted. She is so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the planning process and day of. Our ceremony was beautiful and Trish did a fantastic job officiating our wedding.

Trish was amazing. She was so wonderful to work with. She is so organized and her process is so easy. Over all of our meetings I felt I knew Trish and she knew us very well. Absolutely Amazing!!!

Trish was amazing and made our ceremony extremely special by being able to customize it any way we wanted. She helped us through every step of the way and answered all questions we had. The phone calls that we scheduled with her made it easy to make our ceremony “us”. It wasn’t your typical cookie cutter ceremony thanks to all the options that she provided for every section that we could include in our wedding and helped take the stress away from our nerves the day of the wedding!

Wonderful experience

10/10 would recommend to anyone!! We had a phone call with her monthly for a few months to create our ceremony script and she was always available to answer questions or change things around. She was willing to work with all of our ideas and was so kind. She did a great job running the rehearsal and we got so many complements from guests about how great they thought she was.

From our first reach out she was responsive, helpful, enthusiastic, and patient with us as we worked through the process of planning for the ceremony and wedding in general. Everything we needed and more

Trish did an amazing job with our wedding! She kept us on top of our game every step of the way and made sure none of the little details fell through the cracks. We actually saw her at a friends wedding and thought she did an amazing job so we asked our friend for her contact info. We were also thankful that she was willing to officiate a gay marriage because nowadays you just don’t know. Absolutely Amazing

Trish was recommended to us by our wedding venue, which we knew that she had to be good if she was recommended by them. Little did we know how good she actually was. We had decided to book with Trish a little over a year before our wedding. Each month we had a meeting with her to go over our ceremony. Each meeting not only did Trish talk to us about our ceremony, but she would also check-in with us to see how we were doing with the rest of our wedding planning and life in general. I looked forward to our monthly chats. When we first began working with Trish, she had given us a whole book of different readings, vows, unity ceremony ideas, and more to choose from. Each monthly chat she would give us homework to do which was nice for me to know what we had to get done. By the end, we had a completely unique ceremony that no one else in the world would have. At our dress rehearsal I was freaking out a little, but by the end of it she had made all my nerves disappear. She did an amazing job the day of our wedding! We had so many compliments from our guests that they loved our ceremony. We truly enjoyed every minute of working with Trish! We would recommend her 1000 times over!

You Will Never Stress When You Have Trish

We were so lucky to have Trish as our officiant and honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better to go thorough this whole process with. Trish is so friendly and organized and has several readings, vows, ceremony ideas, etc so you are are truly able to piece together the perfect ceremony for you are your partner. My husband and I did not want to write our own vows because it can be overwhelming trying to find the right words to say so it was great to have so many different options and find what worked best for us. All my phone calls with Trish were always so positive and supportive; I felt like we accomplished something each time we talked which is an amazing feeling especially in the midst of so much wedding planning, its so nice to know you don't have to stress about the ceremony because you trust Trish. Trish did such a great job of going with the flow at the rehearsal and the wedding especially with some last minute changes and quite a large wedding party. : ) We received so many compliments from our guests about Trish and how beautiful our ceremony was and we just couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

more than just an officiant

Trish is a gift from god. She helped us to navigate so much more than trying to plan the perfect ceremony. When our original venue suddenly claimed bankruptcy and stole thousands from us, it was Trish who called us and immediately started helping us find a new place, to then comforting us when we again had to reschedule the wedding with COIVD. She is always available to talk and sets up monthly update sessions that were so helpful in keeping us on track with ceremony planning. Her binder full of examples and templates was such a valuable tool in knowing where to start and helped us to fall in love with every single part of our ceremony. Even when my mother in law wanted to add something to our ceremony 48 hours before the wedding, Trish handled it seamlessly and made it a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony. When we were nervous during the ceremony she was there to remind us to `breathe, relax, and enjoy it. When you choose Trish as your officiant, you are also getting a friend, mentor, and wedding expert as well.

An Officiant and so much more!

We were recommended to go through Trish from our venue (The Fields Reserve) After reading several other reviews we had no doubt in our minds she would do a wonderful job. Trish does an amazing job of getting to know you as an individual and makes sure she puts together the perfect wedding ceremony that not only represents you as a couple but still keeps the legality of everything in check. We planned our Wisconsin wedding while still living in Iowa, so it was basically a destination wedding for us, and from the first phone call to the last Trish made the process extremely easy. As if this wasn't enough, on the day of the wedding Trish did an amazing job of making small changes on the fly, and recognizing things that we would have never thought of.

Where to begin with Trish. She made our day so perfect. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to officiate our wedding this year. Excellent job!

Trish was great. Her assistance in planning the ceremony was so appreciated since I had not done this before. Even though my wedding was only us and our witnesses, Trish made it feel very personal and special. I am so glad we went with her services rather than just getting married at the courthouse! Once we are able to have friends and family celebrate with us, we will definitely be using her services again to do a vow renewal in front of those we love. Thanks again, Trish. Everything we could have asked for and more!

Due to circumstances beyond our control my husband and I decided to get married with very short notice. We had three weeks to plan everything. Trish was AMAZING! She got us all of the information we needed and materials for the ceremony, at lightening speed. We were able to choose every paragraph of the ceremony and completely customize it, and parts of it we wrote our selves. Nothing about it was generic. I am absolutely confident our ceremony will never be duplicated. And to top it all off, Trish agreed to having our wedding outside. In February. In Wisconsin. It was cold and sunny and snowy and absolutely perfect.

I'm so happy we chose Trish as our officiant. Our perfect wedding!

Trish is AMAZING! She is so sweet and easy to work with and she really helps you with the whole planning process along with having cool ideas! She checks in often which is amazing because she keeps you going on the planning process!! She makes you feel like you are her one and only wedding she is thinking about even if that is not the case you feel like her full attention is on you!!! We were a little less traditional with our vows and some of our ceremony and she went with it and everything went PERFECTLY! She was so open to all our ideas and it made the whole planning process so easy!!! She does so much work for you in finding SO many different options for you that truly you just have to pick your style and your wording and your all set! It makes it a lot less stressful since there is enough of that in wedding planning already! :) We had so many comments on how great she was and I agree!!! She really did help us have a PERFECT day!

Such a good fit for my wedding

Had such a great experience with Trish as our Officiant and would highly recommend her for your wedding. We decided to have a very non-traditional ceremony and reception and piece pretty much everything on our own. Trish helped guide us through the wedding ceremony sections and offered meaningful suggestions. During the big day, of course we were nervous but Trish smooth it out and really made it a special and memorable time for us.

Trish was helpful from day one. Magical NYE Wedding

Working with Trish was truly one of the greatest experiences of our wedding. We planned our wedding in 4 months while my husband was deployed and Trish was there for me every step of the way. Wonderful ceremony by Trish!

Trish was wonderful! She was professional, organized, and friendly and made the planning process a breeze. She allowed us to customize the ceremony as much as we liked and always had suggestions when we needed them. Her experience really showed during the rehearsal dinner and ceremony where we were grateful for her leading hand. The ceremony itself was beautiful and everything we could have hoped for. Wonderful experience!!

Working with Trish was the best decision we made! My husband and I were clueless about anything regarding what we wanted to include for our readings/vows/etc but Trish gave us SO many helpful suggestions and ideas that we would have never considered and helped us craft a beautiful ceremony that was perfect for us! Throughout the process she checked in with us every few weeks to share what ideas we had and for just general updates as to how the wedding planning was going & was always extremely responsive if we ever needed anything. At our reception we received so many compliments from guests about how much they loved our ceremony & hourglass ritual & are still receiving them days after! Trish is an absolute dream. My husband and I live in Germany and we organized our whole wedding in Madison from abroad. Trish helped us stay on track with the planning with monthly Skype sessions to achieve what turned out to be the most amazing ceremony that was even more than we could’ve hoped for. She is an incredible communicator: not only via Skype but also email and over the phone, she double checked everything and made sure it was exactly to our liking. She truly cared about us as a couple and she wanted our day to be everything we dreamed of and more.
The process started out with her giving us a huge binder of ideas and we widdled them away until we came up with something we all loved. Not only do I feel like we “hired” an officiant for our wedding, but I feel like we gained a friend and ally. I can’t imagine having celebrated our wedding without Trish (and Kevin!!) Lock her down for your wedding, she’s incredible!

WOW. Trish was absolutely dedicated and personable with her services. She will tailor to your EVERY need and more. My husband and I had a non-denominational ceremony and were quite picky about the wording and style of it. However, Trish appreciated our creativity and encouraged it without ever judging. We seriously would not hire anyone else for our officiant because she's definitely the best. She will take your vision into her heart and make it hers too. Her enthusiasm, care, and effort is just astounding. We see her as a friend and aunt because she was always there for us throughout our complicated process with planning a wedding across the country and at certain points, abroad. She was meant to be an officiant because she is good at soaking up the love and precious moments then spreads the joy. Extremely professional and always on top of things even when the couple is not. Her organization and follow-up still amazes me to this day. I'm so glad to have found her and her husband for our wedding weekend. They are such kind, warm, and loving people. She answered all of my questions, gave me suggestions, and helped us create a personal and amazing ceremony. Trish was supper flexible and caring. Trish was absolutely amazing. After trying to plan a big, traditional wedding for two years, my husband and I decided to elope. I reached out to Trish and she responded almost immediately! I know how difficult it can be for vendors in the wedding business to provide excellent customer communication (especially during wedding season), but Trish was super responsive. My husband and I were having trouble finding an officiant who we felt comfortable with. I knew that I found the right person when I spoke with Trish! She put together a beautiful ceremony for us, including everything that we wanted, and leaving out what we weren't comfortable with. Overall, she made our day absolutely magical. Trish is amazing! I am so glad we hired her as our officiant for our 5/5/18 wedding ceremony. We were looking for an officiant who would allow us to pick and choose what we wanted in our ceremony and wouldn't make us feel guilty for leaving traditional things out. Upon our first meeting with her, we knew that she was going to be the perfect fit. She gave us this binder full of ceremony samples and ideas. It was so much fun to page through it and choose what we wanted and what we didn't. Trish allowed me to make as many changes as necessary to make our ceremony perfect, even editing the wording of certain passages! She was professional and very responsive, and went way above and beyond. She gave us lots of ideas, but always let us make the final decision. Her organization and punctuality was much appreciated! I can't say enough good things about Trish. My husband and I received so many compliments about our ceremony during the reception and multiple people wrote about it in our guestbook. I even had a family member who recently got married tell me she wished she would known about Trish last year for her ceremony! We are so happy we found Trish! We wanted something more out of the box than the standard norm for our ceremony and that’s what she helped us create for our day. We couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out!
She was so fun to work with, having tips, suggestions and advice every step of the way. When we lost two dear family members during the planning process she was compassionate and concerned. And when I called her a week out from our wedding day freaking out because of the weather and possibly having to change our venue, she calmed me down and got me to see everything would work out just fine (thankfully we didn’t have to change anything, lol).
And Trish was just fun to talk to, she is so friendly!

Trish is absolutely fantastic. Honestly, 5 stars are not enough. She has curated a great selection of options for a ceremony that can be selected from to create exactly what you're looking for. Compared to other vendors we looked at, she seems so much more passionate. She is enthusiastic about every couple that she works with, and it so clearly shows in her work. While others charge for their "gold/platinum/premier" package (which might still limit you to 2-3 conversations and minimal personalization), Trish will let you work through your ceremony as much as you need because she loves her work. She will put you at ease through the whole planning process all the way to the ceremony.

We knew that we would get nothing but great things from Trish; but when the time came we got everything we wanted and more. She was the best in everything; truly. Not only was she there for myself and the groom but she went beyond and talked with everyone she could. She spent time to get to know all our family and friends. Trish and her husband are some of the most friendly and compassionate people. You can tell she loves what she does, and puts everything into making your special day the best it possibly can. We had monthly meetings on how we wanted the ceremony to go. She made suggestions, and listened to everything we had to say. She sent us tons of information to choose from, and whenever you needed to ask her something she was there without making it feel like you where a bother. In our monthly meetings it wasn't all business either; she took the time to try and get to know you. You could tell she wanted to be there just as much as we wanted to. She checked in with me before the ceremony to see how I was doing, and if everything is looking to be on schedule.

I found Trish through a facebook wedding page/group, and thank goodness I did! Even though the distance was a bit, she was willing to make the drive, even for a face to face coffee if we wanted! Incredibly accommodating, helpful, and willing to bounce ideas together. We had a call together at a minimum of every 4-5 weeks, if not sooner/more frequently to help keep us accountable for the needed work and to design the different parts of the ceremony. But she went above and beyond for that, too! When we would have a call, there was always some time in the beginning to get a feel for how we were doing with the planning and just life in general! Personal relationships and building that rapport is SO important. Not only does she do amazing work, but she loves her work and she makes it apparent! Trish is so wonderful! My husband and I had met with vendors who were double the price for much, much less value, and then we met Trish. We had a few meetings with her (one in person and more over the phone) and each time she was great about setting deadlines for us to make sure we were still on track with all our wedding planning - not just the ceremony! Have Trish officiate your wedding. I promise you that you will not regret it. It was one of the best decisions I have made when planning my wedding. Jay and I loved her. She was more than accommodating. You get to create your own ceremony, which we loved, because we wanted it to be more secular and we could make this happen, because we had chosen our readings. Trish is incredible and was a joy to work with. She truly cared about us and wanted to make sure our ceremony and day reflected everything we are. Trish worked with us to create our ceremony (she gives you so many examples to work from - awesome) and to perfect our vows. More importantly, she mentally supported us through every moment. Trish was able to guide my type-A family through the dress rehearsal. And, the day of our wedding, she was my go to when I needed a moment to recenter and collect my emotions. I contacted Trish via email on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm thinking she would get back to me the next day. That night I got a phone call from her to discuss what I was looking for in an officiant! I knew right then I shouldn't look any further and just hire her. She was extremely helpful, and purposely pushed us to work on our completely custom (non-religious) ceremony early so we wouldn't have to worry about it later. I'm so glad she did, she made the whole thing stress-free with examples and suggestions. She worked well with our wedding coordinator at the church and even suggested a DJ to us (who we hired and was amazing). She is very professional and I would recommend her to anyone.

She came highly recommended to us by our coordinator and choosing her to officiate our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We were able to create an extremely unique ceremony that was so personal for us. Trish gave us the freedom to make it exactly what we wanted it to be while still making sure to include the traditional and important parts of a wedding ceremony. It was so stress free being able to work on our ceremony little by little through several planning sessions with her. Trish is amazing! We highly recommend her. She made planning our ceremony fun and stress free. Everything you need to customize your vows, she provides in her wedding binder. And if it is not there...well, say you want to water a rose tree? No problem. Trish knows just the right wording. She holds your hand from start to finish and is a true professional. We especially appreciated her taking the lead and running the rehearsal for us. And we loved that her husband Kevin took pictures and posted them on Facebook the next day. An added bonus: our guests also LOVED Trish and Kevin. Both dined and dance with us making the day even more special. Thank you both so much!

It was a wonderful experience to work with Trish! She was very organized, responsive, and personable to plan with. We were getting married out of state and she was kind enough to not only travel but also researched marriage license policies in the county we were getting married in! The ceremony ran flawlessly because of her great efforts to make sure we could have the ceremony that we wanted! She even brought us fresh picked strawberries the day of our wedding! We truly could not have asked for a better officiant. :)

I can't compliment Trish enough for being the most pleasant, well-organized, and genuine officiant we ever could have asked for. From the first time we spoke I just knew Trish was "the one" who would marry us. She went above and beyond to help us create the perfect ceremony for us. She offered so many different ideas, was open to new ideas, and gave her input when requested. She is very knowledgeable and a great resource for any bride or groom who has questions about the ceremony or wedding proceedings in general. She was calm and patient during our rehearsal and did a great job of "running the show;" even when people were goofing off/not paying attention she managed to keep everyone on track. Trish was so wonderful the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Our ceremony was all we dreamt of and more, thanks to Trish. We really enjoyed having Trish and her husband, Kevin, join us for rehearsal dinner and our reception, they're both such kind, warm-hearted people. We're so grateful we choose Sacred Moments to perform our ceremony! Trish was the officiant for my wedding and accommodated us on very short notice (6 weeks). In a 6 week time frame she worked with me to create the wedding of our dreams. She incorporated our children exactly as we had hoped and worked wonderfully with them! We could not have hoped for more than she provided. I had never met Trish before asking her to officiate our wedding but by the end I felt like I had gained a new friend. She got to know us and truly created the wedding day we had hoped for. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get married in their own way with no reservations. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. A great experience!

It was a pleasure to work with Trish to plan our wedding. She was very thoughtful and upbeat everytime we spoke on the phone. Trish was always on time for our phone calls and she communicated through text and e-mail, as needed. She was very organized and guided me in the different steps of a wedding and also, other items to consider. This resulted in a customized wedding. Michelle had been asking me to marry her for years. I never really took her seriously until I saw her start looking at rings. About five weeks before our 11th anniversary, she announced that we were going to get married, on our anniversary! Ooo! I liked that idea. I agreed. This is where Trish comes in. We've known her as a personal friend and knew she was our gal. While Trish brought all the kindness and compassion a friend could bring, plus a razor-sharp sense for helping people accomplish what they want on their wedding day, there's a tiger inside! Supremely organized, supportive, informative, flexible, accessible, patient, perceptive, professional and unflappable (except she does get excited for you)--Trish herds cats! She really wants you to have the day YOU want and works with you every steps of the way. My wife and I really had no idea how many decisions were involved in planning a ceremony. My wife has an extremely deadline-driven job, so keeping a schedule seems to be the last thing she wants to do in her spare time, but Trish checked in with her and kept her working toward our goal. We didn't have a lot of time, but we did it! Trish did it! Our ceremony was everything we wanted and nothing we didn't. It was all ours, from the first note of our intro walk to the circle of friends at the end. Short & sweet, personal and nothing but love and support surrounding us the entire time. Trish's multitude of samples and plethora of ideas gave us everything we needed, at every stage, to truly create what we wanted and make our day OUR day.

We are so thankful and appreciative of the time and thought that Trish devoted to making our wedding a success. She was truly instrumental in helping us design a personalized wedding ceremony, orchestrating our wedding rehearsal, and then making our wedding ceremony run perfectly. We would absolutely recommend her as an officiant!

We started working with Trish nearly a year in advance of our wedding date, which enabled us to have a relaxed and thoughtful approach to developing our wedding ceremony. We worked together through both in-person meetings and phone conversations, for which Trish was always prompt and prepared. She provided us with extensive reading material that included sample wedding ceremonies and quotes, explained everything step-by-step with clarity, and always gave us detailed feedback and suggestions in response to our many questions. Trish was welcoming, open-minded, and respectful of all of our ideas and desires about what to include in our ceremony, which fostered an environment of comfort and trust. She is naturally positive, energetic, and encouraging, and we truly enjoyed our many meetings and conversations. Trish exhibited a sense of professionalism and serenity on our wedding day, and we had a wonderful time celebrating with her and her husband Kevin. As an interfaith couple, it was important we find an officiant who was open-minded and respectful of that. Trish was one of the first, few that I contacted and the first to respond. She had a good and positive energy about her from the start, was open and knowledgeable and her fast communication as well was what made us choose her. We had some ideas on how we wanted our ceremony, but Trish was armed with loads of ideas, quotes etc and she made the process go smoothly. Day by day, week by week, we put together a beautiful ceremony. When the day finally came, it was so nice to meet her and her husband. A plus is the gorgeous pictures he took during our important day. They even surprised us with a beautiful gift in the mail upon our return from our honeymoon. I cannot say thanks enough for her service and help. I would highly recommend giving her a call!

I would rate Trish higher than 5 stars if I could. She went above and beyond to give us a wedding more beautiful than I imagined. She was very flexible and helped us personalize our wedding to make it special for us. There were so many little details and extras that we wouldn't expect, which made the day better than perfect. Trish and her husband Kevin really made our ceremony the ceremony of our dreams. Trish went through the process with us step by step and made sure our ceremony was customized to our personal style. To me, being ushered into marriage by another couple who are so obviously in love and who have stood the test of time in marriage just added an extra special layer to our day. Even afterwards, knowing that our documents were sent by registered mail was a relief so that we knew exactly when we could apply to get our marriage certificate.
