  Best Photographer Ever!

  Ryan was amazing from the beginning! He was super communicative, flexible and helpful. We wanted to do a photoshoot with our 4 dogs. He was more than willing to helpus make that possible. Throughout the photoshoot, he was patient and great. The turnover time was amazing. We're so in love with our photos that we show them off to everyone! Cannot recommend Ryan enough!

  Excellent Photos and Prompt Editing!

  Let's face it. Finding a photographer for your wedding is not a fun process. At first glance, all wedding photos look nice. Then you start to notice some little details here and there in the portfolios and think "Hmmm... actually I'm not so sure". Then the endless loop of second guessing begins. After the exhausting task of looking online at photographers that were either completely out of my budget, not quite up to skill level, or just not really my style, I stumbled across Ryan's website. We were paying for our own wedding and didn't want to pay for it for years to come, so were working on a pretty tight budget compared to people spending tens of thousands of dollars (or more) on their weddings. The first thing I liked was that he lists his packages and prices directly on his site. (No wasting time calling/emailing, meeting for a presentation only to find out they're unaffordable). I flipped through his online portfolio, and it looked like his style of photography was in line with what we were looking for and his price was right. I gave him a call and a few days later we set up a casual meeting over coffee. He brought a printed portfolio with him, and was very transparent about what he offered. He is friendly, honest, not pushy, and very easy to get along with. Like most photographers, he mentioned doing an engagement shoot as a way to see how you like his photos before committing to the big day. We had already been engaged for a little over a year, and our wedding date was only like 2 months away so I took a leap of faith and hired him on the spot - and I'm glad I did! He customized one of his packages to fit my needs which worked out beautifully. He and his partner were very professional on the day of the wedding, got all the shots I had asked for, and all editing was done well within the time we had agreed upon in the contract. Our wedding memories were captured just beautifully, and we will enjoy them for the rest of our lives! Thank you, Ryan!

  Thank you Ryan, for capturing EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of our wedding!! Over a year later and I look at our wedding photos all the time! We were so lucky to find Ryan for our wedding! He didn’t miss a beat!

  My husband and I recently received the photos from our 11/20/15 wedding, and we are loving looking at them over and over! Ryan did a fantastic job at capturing the super important moments, and even special moments that I didn't know happened until looking at the photos. It was as if we could appreciate the wedding day from so many different perspectives, by seeing the facial expressions of our guests during precious moments. I felt so comfortable with Ryan's style of taking photos. I had asked him ahead of time to get a giant group photo of everyone at the wedding, and then pick guests off from there to get smaller groups, like family, and he coordinated it smoothly (what an awesome photo that turned out to be!). Most of the posed photos were at night (since my ceremony was later in the day) and they still came out fabulous. He worked seamlessly with the videographer, and during the reception, I didn't even notice that he was in so many places, to get great such creative angles! Highly recommended!

We got married in Florida and live in Maryland, but even with the added uncertainty that comes with planning a "destination wedding," Ryan definitely put us at ease. We did an engagement shoot with him last summer, and then at the wedding, he was very relaxed but got right in there and took some great shots. He wasn't very "in your face" like I've seen with a lot of photographers at other weddings. Ryan and his assistant blended into the background but made sure to get the formal posed photos as well as the candid ones. His photography packages are priced very competitively and he was excellent to work with all around!

  Ryan was fantastic. He was easy going, very flexible and knew exactly what he was doing. He was constantly taking pictures and had lots of patience with our big bridal party. Ryan's prices were so affordable compared to other vendors. I highly recommend Ryan to everyone, you will be very happy with him in every way. Thanks Ryan!

  I highly recommend hiring Ryan Merrill for any event. He was such a pleasure to have photograph our wedding. He accommodated every request I had for pictures and went over and above to make sure all the moments were captured. Even my DJ complimented working with him. Not only is he affordable but the pictures were stunning. I couldn't be happier.

  For what we paid we received pictures of beautiful quality. I'm surprised he doesn't charge more. They were gorgeous and very professionally done. He is so nice and allows you to make decisions about the type of pictures you want and where (which can be a little overwhelming, but definitely worth the personalization).

  Our pictures came out great!! Every photo was perfect from the moment Ryan took it. He has great talent, great eye and great attention to detail. He always made sure the light was right, etc so that the photos came out great every time. Ryan was great to work with, and caught every moment without us even feeling overwhelmed.
