We recently had our wedding at Russo’s On The Bay, and it was truly the most magical and unforgettable day of our lives. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew we were in good hands — and Russo’s exceeded every expectation we had.

First and foremost, the venue itself is stunning. Located right on the water in Howard Beach, it offers an elegant and romantic setting with gorgeous views, especially at sunset. The indoor spaces are just as impressive — from the luxurious bridal suite to the crystal chandeliers and beautifully maintained ballrooms, everything radiates class and sophistication.

But what really sets Russo’s apart is the service. The staff was impeccable. Joe Vacca was relentless on making sure us and our guests had a great time. Our maître d’ and bridal attendant were incredibly attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt relaxed and pampered the entire day. Every detail was executed perfectly — from the timing of the ceremony to the flow of the reception.

The food was outstanding. The cocktail hour was nothing short of legendary. Our guests are still raving about the variety, quality, and sheer abundance of options, The dinner was equally delicious and beautifully plated. Russo’s doesn’t just serve a meal — they create an experience.

Planning with Russo’s was also seamless. Jennifer was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. We felt supported and heard from day one, and that made all the difference.

If you're looking for a venue that combines elegance, world-class service, and amazing food, Russo’s On The Bay is it. They helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect, and we’re so grateful for the memories they helped us create.

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful job they did! Our wedding was perfect down to every detail. Ever person couldn’t say enough about the food and the service. We were fortunate to have good weather so had our ceremony in the outdoor garden, then our reception in the paragon room. Just incredible!

Look no further for your wedding venue! Russo's was the first and only place we visited when choosing our wedding venue. Immediately, we knew THIS was where we were going to get married. You feel like family the moment you walk in the door. Every single person there went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and I cannot say enough good things or thank them enough! Almost a year later, everyone is still talking about our wedding and saying "best wedding I've ever been to!"

A BIG thank you to Joe V, he is phenomenal.... Joe you are very passionate about your job, you say it and show it with all your heart. We couldn't have chosen a better place than Russo on the Bay!!!! It's worth the MONEY!!!! The service was EXCELLENT..... FOOD, STAFF and the Venue is out of this world. I thank you ALL for making my daughter's wedding a success!!! If you want to be treated like royalty on your wedding day, use this venue.

Our team was professional, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.
The guests cannot stop talking about the amazing Cocktail & Viennese hour. Everyone was blown away. Guests also loved how many options are given for their main course. Older guests were happy they didn't even need to go to the bar because by the time they were done with one drink their waitress was already getting them a refill. Everything is updated and clean. The cakes were made on site and not only beautiful, but delicious. Our guests are also still talking about our grand entrance, they couldn't believe how "grand" it truly was. Russo's also worked very well with all of my vendors. Mr. Russo himself kept checking up on us and making sure we were happy. We knew we were in good hands. Guests were also impressed with the process in which they wrap up the food ( many people were full from cocktail hour and wanted to take their entree home) you are given a number and at the end of the night you give in your number in return for your leftovers. They had all the little details covered.

My husband and I are still impressed with our Maitre D- Joe Vacca. Joe took care of us like we were family. Everything we requested was completed. Everything looked beautiful. At one point my mom was upset about something I forgot and started to get upset with me, Joe took her to the side and very respectfully took care of the situation and encouraged mom to go to him with any problems. This may seem insignificant but it was a big relief for me and made it simple to be care free & happy the entire night. The entire night was seamless, from our grand entrance, first dance, night time photo shots, cake cutting truly all thanks to Joe and his team. We just kept saying this is the best night ever ( so cliche I know, but its the truth). Every picture of me I have the biggest smile on. Joe was visible to me the entire night, I knew that if I needed something he was right there to help me, this made me feel comfortable and at ease.

We added the LED bar the week before the wedding and we are so happy we did. It was a great addition to the night. It truly kept many people inside the room and close to the dance floor which was exactly what we wanted. Service was quick and professional.

Also- For the brides who want to be " The only bride"
there was another wedding going on but you would never know it, they do a great job of keeping everyone separated.

Simply the absolute BEST! We got married (both ceremony and reception) at Russo’s on the Bay on 8/31/18 and they more than exceeded our expectations. They made the planning process easy and comfortable. Sophia helped us every step of the way and was just fabulous! In the last few weeks leading up to the wedding, Joe Vacca, our matire’d, answered every question and concern immediately, he put me at complete ease. He then ran our wedding like a well oiled machine! Joe is really the best in the business! My bridal attendant Hope was great! If I needed or wanted something she was back to me in a flash with it! Bravo to the chefs! The food was outstanding! The food presentation was also very impressive! OMG the bakery - cookies, pastries and CAKE that was out of this world! The entire staff is professional and very accommodating but not in a stiff unattached way, they are friendly, everyone was smiling and happy help in anyway they could. The service was seriously fantastic! Even Mr. Russo stopped by to ask us if everything was going well and to be sure we were happy. The venue is gorgeous, the pics on their website doesn’t do it justice. I could go on and on, instead I’ll leave you with this - As our guests left, many people told us that this was the best wedding they had EVER been to! As a bride & groom, I can’t tell you how happy that made us! We would have our wedding at Russo's again tomorrow if we could! My Husband and I got married at Russo's on 09.01.17. From the initial meeting and through out the entire wedding planning process Mr. Russo, Priscilla, Audrey, Joanne, Christine and all of his amazing staff enough for providing nothing short of amazing service! We are beyond happy more so overjoyed with our wedding day! We had beautiful outdoor interfaith ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour and reception that was absolutely divine. My husband and I are big "foodies" and we found it challenging to the PERFECT venue that offered delicious food and quality service in combination with a consistently great reputation. Believe it or not My husband and I actually visited over 20 venues throughout NY but once we came to Russo's we knew instantly that we found the place of our DREAMS! Within the past year, Russo's has renovated/ the Tivoli Room, Promenade (Where Cocktail Hour is held) and even more recently offered outdoor ceremonies in their garden. What more could one ask for? Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Russo's on the Bay for our daughter's wedding last week. To say that Russo's exceeded all expectations would be the large understatement of the year! Russo's staff was amazing from Mr. Russo to Carol Silva to our Maitre'D Joann the Bridal Attendant Hope were all beyond attentive. They were very attentive to us from the moment we pulled up in the Limo until we left at the end of the night on our shuttle bus. Our Maitre'D Joann and Bridal Attendant Hope made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed the entire evening. Joann, our Maitre'D made sure everything ran smooth from start to finish. The Ballroom and Gardens are beautiful. The food was spectacular!! The staff was attentive and professional... They didn't miss a beat! Everything was exactly how we planned!! From the beginning to the very end! We truly appreciate all the work the staff put into making our daughters wedding day a magical day!! Thank you the Boyce Family

Russo's on The Bay is undeniably the BEST place we could have chosen for our wedding. We met with Audrey to book our wedding day and also got to meet Mr. Russo, who is so genuinely kind and concerned with the satisfaction of everyone who walks through those doors. Our maitre'd, Joe, felt like a family member from the moment we met and was so eager to help us with anything and everything we needed or asked for. The food and service CANNOT be beat. They are the BEST at what they do. They leave no stone left un turned. We were treated so well from start to finish. They give each couple a beautiful tasting dinner to decide on appetizers, pasta and cake. It was very intimate and romantic, exactly what a couple planning a wedding needs. The bride and groom and their families are the staffs' top priority. Every single guest of ours was blown away by the food. Even sweeter, Mr. Russo makes sure to personally check on you during your event. There is nothing like a family owned business whose heart and soul is really in it. If we could get married at Russo's every Sunday, we would. We are so thankful we chose them and so thankful for all they did for us.

We got married there Dec 6th and it was absolutely perfect start to finish. Joe Vacca, our maitre d is one in a million. The food, the service, the hospitality all around you can't go wrong with this place. We saw the owner Mr. Russo many times during the whole booking and planning process and even the day of our event. It's so nice to see an owner present and so hands on and I do belive that's why Russos is so successful. We had over 200 people and everyone was ranting and raving about how great everything was. Look no further, you won't regret it!

We were MORE than satisfied with the elegant and beautiful event that Russo's put together for our wedding day at Vetro. Our guests raved about the food, the service was excellent and the way the room was put together for both the ceremony and the reception was absolutely breathtaking. We will continue to recommend Russo's, and hope to use your services for future celebratory events!

I don't even know the words to express how amazing this place is. Russos on the Bay truly gave us the wedding of our dreams. The service was outstanding and our guests are still raving about it! Our Maitre-d Joe Vacca and his team were unbelievable!! They are all Pros! They treat you like family and genuinely care. Mr. Russo himself was even there to make sure everything was perfect (AND IT WAS) I will be recommending this place for years to come. They made us feel like we had the most important wedding they have ever thrown. My only wish is that i could relive the night over again. Russo's on the Bay completely exceeded my expectations and played a huge role in the wedding of my dreams. A huge thanks to Mr. Russo, my amazing maitre'd Tracy, and the incredible staff at Russos.

We haven't had our wedding yet, but the service and treatment we've received from Russo's On The Bay has been so phenomenal it felt necessary to review them. We got engaged in April of 2014, and Russo's on the Bay was the very first reception venue we visited, upon recommendation of friends & family who had attended work functions at the location. We were instantly in love. Every employee we encountered was kind, and helpful, they offered us refreshments while we waiting to meet with our consultant. Once in with Audrey, we instantly knew Russo's was the place for us. She was so patient and helpful, answering all of the questions I had and willingly entertaining all of my "what ifs" she took us on a tour of the rooms, which was AMAZING and walked us through how weddings at Russo's flow. Frank Russo (owner) happened to be there and stopped in to say hello as well. We knew we wanted to book, but Audrey suggested we visit a few other venues to make sure we were certain since it was the first one we'd seen. That act in itself was so telling to us about the kind of experience we would have there, it wasn't about making the sale to her, it was about making sure that we were going to have the best day for us as a couple. We saw a handful of other venues, but kept comparing them to Russo's, Non of them stacked up.
The amount of service, food/drinks, just everything you get is so much more than most locations offer, and at Russo's thats their standard package. Every time we went back to Russo's for meetings, we were treated like part of the family, Audry always brings out cake pops for my Fiance because he mentioned how much he loved them the first time we went (the usually only give the cake pops out for your initial visit!).
I can't express how helpful everyone on the Russo's team has been, they always answer all of my emails quickly and throughly. We cannot wait for our wedding day at Russo's!

I wish I could truly write a review that would do justice to the service that Russo's on the Bay provided for me and my husband for our wedding but it would be near impossible.

This place is the absolute best place to have an event! The amount of professionalism, attentiveness, and care that they provide is truly unbeatable. From the moment we had our first consultation with Russo's we felt as though we were family. Every single person who helped us plan our big day was so helpful and so amazing! Our maitre d Joe Vacca was absolutely amazing! He was so nice and helpful and really helped to calm me down a few weeks before the wedding! He made sure we had everything we wanted and even helped with a small crisis the day of the wedding! I could not have asked for a better guy than Joe, he really is the best!

My guest had an amazing time, and it really was the best day of my life. You will never go wrong with Russo's between the amazing food (which is never ending) and the amazing service there is nothing else you will ever need.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Wow is all I can say about Russo's on the Bay. You will not get this type of service, treatment, food, and magic anywhere else! My husband and I got married here on September 19th and had the best, most magical day of our lives!!! It was a pure fairytale!!! Russo's, with the help of our other incredible vendors, brought our dreams to reality. Our maître d' (is that how you spell it?) was Joe Vacca along with his assistant, Joanne. Joe is the best!!! He was always there to answer questions, ask our opinions, take care of everything that was necessary, and even to make sure that we got to eat! The staff at Russo's truly made everything perfect. Frank Russo even walked around a couple of times throughout the night to make sure everything was running smoothly! We were in the Renaissance room with about 280 guests - the room looked like a dream! The service was top notch - each table had its own waiter and no one ever had to get up for drinks. And the food? Everyone knows about the food! Our guests are still raving about the full boat cocktail hour and unbelievable Viennese (we had chosen the Elite package)! Plus, I keep hearing that the Opera Trio was the best wedding cake many of them had ever tasted in their lives! I highly recommend Russo's for any type of occasion! They do not disappoint!!! Now we can't wait to have a baby so that we can have a christening there! Joe, we are coming back for you!

Russo's on the Bay is an amazing place to have your wedding. Their staff goes way beyond above and beyond to make you happy. From the first point of contact at Bridal Showcase I attended, I was treated like a Queen. The food is to die for and there is so much of it. Almost all of my wedding guest said to me this was the best wedding that they have ever been to, Russo's is responsible for that! Thank you for making my wedding a true fairytale! I can't wait to have another event so I can have it at Russo's!

I'm not saying this because it was my wedding but I had the absolute best wedding ever!!!! I do not think any venue can ever compare to Russo's! From the service to the amazing food everything on my wedding day was absolutly perfect and thats all thanks to Russo's on the Bay (and marrying the man of my dreams of course ;)) Frank Russo throws each party as if he were throwing it for himself, he makes sure absolutely everything is perfect as well as Joe our maitre d!! Everyone at our wedding still talks about our wedding saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to ! I highly higly highly recommend Russ's on the Bay, but if you've been there before then you dont even need to read this review because you would know how amazing they truly are! Russo's was emmaculent! From the time you entered the door to the time you left. Our day was perfect especially the service and food! Loved every aspect.

Amazing service, I was able to utilize every inch of this large space for my event. The staff was very accommodating to my needs, vendors, guests. They made sure we were on time given the dynamics of our celebration. Everything ran smoothly, the venue was gorgeous thanks to the new renovations and the food was excellent. Use them, you can't go wrong.

The major piece of our wedding was our Venue which was remarkably beautiful; from the staff, professionalism, the attention to detail.... Etc. A recommendation in acquiring their venue is an understatement. There is NO OTHER venue out there that will make your day the best than Russo's. We will utilize them for EVERY occasion in our lives. I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude to Frank Russo & the staff of Russo's on the Bay. From the first appointment to see if Russo's was a possibility for our wedding venue, up until the moment we walked out the night of our wedding, I cannot believe how happy I was that this was the hall we chose. You are truly treated like family. I say it all the time "unless you're a Russo's bride you do not understand." We've seen other halls and each venue was all business where you felt like just another customer. It seemed so routine. At Russo's you never felt like just another bride and groom. Especially every visit there you're leaving hugging everyone like family. lol.. We were both blown away for their hospitality with each and every person we met there. We left there after our first appointment and just knew. All expectations of our wedding were exceeded beyond what we could've even imagined, although I knew we were in great hands from the start. Even more so than my own experience at Russo's on my wedding day, the thing that makes me happiest is hearing from my guests what an amazing wedding we had. Hearing compliments over and over from everyone about our dramatic entrance, the food, the service, etc... how unbelievable everything was. And hearing often it labeled to be "the best wedding" they've ever been to truly confirms that we made the right decision to have our wedding at Russo's on the Bay. I cannot thank them enough for everything! The quality of everything there is just down to perfection, everything you can imagine is made on premises. The quality of food & service was a big factor to us. The cocktail hour is just excessive & amazing, we actually felt the need to extend it. (big factor too there is a seat for EVERYONE in cocktail hour) lol.. Everything is just perfect here! My review is actually a lot longer but there is no room. lol.. They're just THE BEST of THE BEST!

My husband and I had our dream wedding at Russo's on the Bay. The entire day felt surreal, like we were floating on a cloud. From the day we went in to discuss our potential wedding, to the actual wedding day, we were treated like royalty. Carol was our wedding coordinator and quickly became one of our favorite people ever! She was so nice & personable and really gave great advice as if she'd known us for years. We felt so grateful that she was part of our wedding process. Lauren also helped coordinate for us and from her we experienced the same level of service. From the moment we arrived until the last minute of our wedding we were treated like celebrities, down to the detail of pushing in my chair (because the dais was so high my feet didn't touch the ground!) to wrapping up candy that I asked for from the Venetian Hour. All the staff noticed every single detail and even if I said something in passing, they remembered it and took care of it. They even helped me take off my heels and put on my flats at one point in the night...actually put my shoes on for me!!! The food was spectacular, our guests STILL talk about it! And the venue itself is absolutely prestine and stunning. We were so lucky because it had just been redone after Hurricane Sandy, and it was breathtaking. Even the rehearsal dinner was a divine experience, making each couple feel so special. I absolutely loved our wedding day and if I could do it all over again I wouldn't have changed a thing! Many places try to compare to Russo's but I'm sorry, there is NO COMPARISON. And since our wedding day we've been to SO many weddings at other places and our opinion has proven itself over and over again, they might have the decor but not the food, or they might have the food but not the service. Russo's has everything - decor, food, service, professionalism, knowledge & expertise, and most of all passion. The Wedding of a Lifetime
Me and my husband just recently had our wedding at Russo's on the Bay in the Renaissance room on Saturday October 18th, 2014. Let me start off telling you all that you WILL NOT get this sort of treatment anywhere else.
From the beginning to the end, you were taken care of like you were their only bride having a wedding. The first person we dealt with was Jennifer. Meeting with her felt like meeting with an old friend. Every time we had spoken thereafter, she had remembered small details about me and my family that weren't even wedding related!! The sense of care and understanding was very evident every time. She helped guide us through picking packages, pricing, vendor selection and more. Any question we had, she met with a swift and accurate answer.
On to the food. You will not be served anywhere like you are at Russo's in both quantity and quality. We had chosen the Elite Package and were offered amazing service, food, drinks and more. The cocktail hour feels like a full meal, but then you get to a seated 4 course dinner (appetizer, salad, pasta, & entree) after the plethora of the cocktail hour. Honestly, you can't even call it a cocktail hour, it should be renamed the GRAND RUSSOS HOUR. It's literally a mile long (okay not literally but it's insane). Oh and let's not forget the Venetian hour. Since we had the elite package we were able to choose a 100% custom made cake. But this wasn't even the half of it. The venetian hour is like being in a dessert FACTORY. Gelato, Italian & French pastries, cotton candy, fudge, cupcakes, chocolate fountains, fruit, cookies, and most importantly the WHITE CASTLE station. Russo's on the Bay made our dream wedding a reality. The night was flawless, thanks to the waitstaff and maitre'd (Thank you Joe!). We, and our guests, always had a drink in hand, and there was always someone close by to get anything you needed. Our guests arrived early and they were allowed to wait in a beautiful lounge area before cocktail hour began. The food was impeccable, and everything at the venue was clean and beautiful. There isn't anything negative to say about Russo's on the Bay- I wish I could relive my wedding there!

Russo's On The Bay is the BEST!!!!!!!!! No other venue can match the top notch service and attention to detail that Russo's provides! My husband and I got married here on 5/25/14 and our guests cannot stop raving about the food and service! Russo's does not even belong in the same category as other venues. It's seriously in a category by itself - at the TOP! No other venue can compare. Joe V is the best maitre d ever! He was such a blast to work with, so helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and he just put my mind at ease on the day of the wedding. We had our wedding at VETRO which is part of Russo's on the Bay in Howard Beach. We also had our rehearsal dinner there. In a word "PERFECT" describes their service, food, professionalism. Everything was great and the event was flawless. We got many compliments.

This place is top-notch. Up to the day of the wedding they work with you and at times can be hard to reach because they are so busy. But as far handling things the day of the wedding there is nobody better. We had a day-of issue with our flowers and our Mait're D took care of everything and wouldn't allow us to feel any stress. Frank, Carol, Joe and the entire staff were so helpful to our particular needs and dreams for our special day. They truly make you feel important and are incredibly thankful for our business. They function as a family and invite their clients to become family as well. Everything from the planning to the cocktail hour, main dinner, and Viennese hour was out of this world. The food was amazingly delicious and beautifully presented. The decor and our cake was stunning (and delicious as well!!!). Everyone's only regret is that they didn't get to eat more ....certainly not for lack of food but rather too full! Even our vendors were excited for the food! Not only that but they truly made the entire process of planning so very easy. They helped take care of communicating with our outside vendors as well as presenting our favors, seating board, and all the little odds and ends we planned. They covered every little detail! And of course....we can not stop playing the video of our entrance through the floor. It was truly the most incredible night of our lives and unbelievable experience! We cannot thank Mr. Russo's and his family enough for such dedication and we can only hope someone else gets married there so we can attend another wedding there!

If you want great food and service this is the place. Everyone who works at Russo's is amazing. The food is delicious and so much yo choose from. Need to get the venetian hour for dessert. Its to die for. My wedding perfect thanks to everyone at Russo's. The venders the recommend are incredible also.

We had our wedding Saturday, Nov 16th, 2013 at Vetro. I was a little uneasy about the price per person when we booked with them. Mr. Russo sat with us and really went above and beyond to try to make us comfortable with the contract. The whole wedding day was just surreal. We saw Mr Russo at cocktail hour for a bit, and he congratulated us. Jason was our Maitre'D and he was phenomenal. Anything we needed, he took care of. The entire day ran so smooth because of him. He told us where to go and what to do whenever we didnt know. He even had cocktail hour set up for us in the bridal suite so we would be able to eat while our guests were being seated for ceremony. At the end of the night, he had our cards collected in a bag and asked if we wanted to pay that night or at a later day. At 1:30 in the morning, there was a Sales Manager there to help us with our payment, like it was 3:00 in the afternoon! All the guests have been raving about the food and the service. The waiters were very attentive and always made sure the guests had a drink. No one had to get up to go to the bar, unless they wanted a shot lol. SO happy we booked with Mr Russo and his team.

I actually had my wedding at Vetro the smaller venue that is Russo on the Bay. Food was spectacular and venue is high end. They are seriously attentive to all. I forgot to eat... But hopefully someone else will have a wedding there! My guests are still amazed at the food!

From the second i walked in until the second i walked out i felt like a queen and my husband felt like a king. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you and your guests are more than satisfied, all of my guests loved the place too. Mr. Russo even comes up and asks you and your guests if everything is okay. I wish i could go back and have my wedding here all over again and again.

Where do I begin on how blown away my husband and I was for our wedding at Russo's. Not only the place is beautiful but the service was impeccable! Lauren Taylor their wedding concierge helped us tremendously with everything we needed. She was so helpful,professional and friendly. Christina our maître d was so accommodating to us the day of our wedding and took care of us beyond belief. The staff was great to all our guests and felt the same way we did with everyone at Russo's. Our guests said BEST wedding they ever have been too! Hats off to everyone at Russo's and Mr. Russo you are the BEST!!! We are already talking about having our 10 yr anniversary at Russo's.

Unbelieveable service and great Value. My daughters sweet sixteen left her guests speechless. From the most amazing cocktail hour ever to the unreal Venetian hour my guests enjoyed the finest food and top shelf liquor as promised. The service was impeccable and the utmost attention was given to each and every table. I would definitely have my next affair at Russo's on the Bay. By far the best venue! The service, the food, the atmosphere is exceptional!!!! Our family and friends said it was the best place they have ever been to for a wedding! The Bride and Groom entrance were the talk of the night! Our wedding was beyond a fairytale and having it at Russos on the Bay was a dream come true! I would have it here again in a heart beat and recommend this place to anyone looking to eat, drink and have the best experience of your lifetime!

Top of the line all around. Guests were having the time of their lives and overly satisfied with the food! We have not stopped receiving all different kinds of compliments on the wedding, especially about the venue and the high quality of every detail!

Had my wedding here on August 11, 2012,.it was amazing. The service was fantastic. All my guests were treated with the upmost respect. It's on the pricey sidd, but well worth it. U get what you pay for...i would pay again to have my wedding here again.

All I can say is that Russo's is amazing! My guests are still raving about the ambiance, food and service. So many have said that it was the best wedding they'd ever attended. Our guests were so impressed by the sheer amount of food at cocktail hour, dinner (appetizer, pasta, salad, 13 choices for entree) and Venetian. They could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. The cake, which was decorated in-house and included in the price, was gorgeous and looked as though we had gotten it from a fancy wedding cakes show. Not to mention - the filling (french cream napoleon) was DELICIOUS - many of our guests said it was the best cake they'd ever had. Also, Russo's recently renovated, and the newly added touches (including a bridal suite and a butterfly and rhinestone entrance wall) are modern and absolutely gorgeous.
The service was beyond what we expected - after taking pictures on the beautiful grounds outside, I noticed a a hole at the bottom front of my gown. I was initially upset but the bridal attendant told me not to worry; she called up the in-house tailor who rushed in to patch the hole (she did such a great job that I can't even find where she patched it!) Every time I sat down to eat, the waitress insisted on bending down to slip my shoes off so I could relax my aching bride feet. The maitre D was also amazing - he kept everything running smoothly and sent us home with LOTS of goodie bags from the Venetian hour.
Throughout the planning process, the Russo's staff was profession and responsive. The owner, Frank Russo, is very hands on - he was present at the venue every single time I was there and always said hello and asked if we needed anything. Before our event, they gave us a beautiful 'Things Remembered' keepsake box with a $50 gift card to Vetro (Frank Russo's other restaurant).
I would 100% recommend Russo's to any couple who want to have a great time without having to worry about a thing!

I got married May 06 2012, if you want perfection from food to décor to an Awesome Staff! there is no other place then Russo's on the bay!! my sale rep Audrey was such wonderful women to work with if I had any questions or any request she was there to accommodate me and call me back right way! she was also involved in scaming me for my bridal shower! she was the one who got me there! I also had my bridal shower at Russo's lol she is the BEST!! My Maitre D's Joe was another fantastic person to work with!! he was right there anything you needed he thought about it before you did!! I saw a few other venues before going to Russo's and when I walked in I knew I was home! that's where I was suppose to be! IF you want your wedding to be the top of the line there is no other place then Russo's on the bay to make your day memorable… your guest will be talking about your wedding for years to come!!

Russo on the Bay is the place to have your wedding - People are still talking about my wedding till this day. They are still 100% on point with their services. I told my mom I would get married here when I was 10 b.c my cousins wedding was so amazing; and I have to say Russo's out did themselves with my wedding. Mr. Russo is an amazing man, and really cares about his business. Jennifer was always on point in getting back to me and she was very professional, but also a pleasure to work with. My three guys Franklin, Louis, & Cameilo are the 3 guys you want working your wedding. They are a great asset to Russo on The Bay. Thank you for making our wedding day one to remember!!

There is no other venue for your reception! The staff can not do enough to make you feel like royalty!!!! This is a reflection of great management!!!! We truly had our fairytale wedding!!!! I have had multiple parties at Russo's. The last party was my daughter's baptism. I keep going back because they make you feel like your part of the family. From when we first book to the end of the night, I always know that I never have to worry about the service or food.

I honestly don't know how to put into words how amazing Russo's on the Bay was to work with. In the 24 months that my husband and I planned our wedding every late night email, every phone call, each question was answered cheerfully and with a helpful response. Frank Russo Jr and his incredible staff did everything in their power to make sure all of our dreams came true. From meeting with Kelly the incredibly understanding wedding planner, to Marco the on staff baker, to Joe V our maitre d, each staff member beyond exceeded our expectations. It feels so good almost three weeks later to have guest still calling to rave about how amazing the food was, the unbelievable service, how beautiful the property is. We love Russo's and would do it all over again with them.

AMAZING.....Is not even enough to describe the staff and how they went out of there way to make you the wedding of your dreams.. It is pricey but you get what you paid for. I will have my parties here for the rest of my life. I cant say enough about this wonderful quality of service.

What can I say about Russo's? They are beyond amazing. Everyone keeps telling me how incredible the food was and how beautiful the place was. I thoroughly enjoyed dealing with everyone there. My consultant was knowledgeable and made everything very easy for me. She was always pleasant and answered my millions of questions. Mr. Russo himself is wonderful and makes you feel at home. I got married at Russo's on the Bay over four years ago, and people talk about the food and the service to this DAY...
You may think it's hype, but truly, Russo's on the Bay is a special place, indeed. Every complimentary thing you've read about the location, the food, and the staff is completely true. The maitre d at our wedding, Christina, was not to be believed...we wanted for nothing, and we worried about nothing. One of my best friend's, who is well to do and had unlimited resources at her disposal when planning her wedding, told me after my reception that she had to go home and rethink her entire menu!
Mr. Russo is very hands on, and you can just tell that he loves what he does by the way he attends to small details that he could easily pass onto someone else, or just not do at all. He came to my wedding, and I've read other reviews here which tell how he came to theirs as well. A person wouldn't take the time to do that unless they truly cared about the services they provide and wanted to ensure a day as special and once in a life time as one's wedding was going to be all that one hopes and dreams it will be. I got my flowers done by Russo's in house florist, and I got my invitations done in house, too. Oh, and the cake? Not to be believed! It was not only delicious, but it was a work of art.

If you read this, Mr. Russo, I hope you and everyone on your staff is doing well! Thanks again for a beautiful wedding, and the many happy memories my husband, I, and our families will always have of that day.

Words cant describe how amazing this place was. The food was some of hte best i have ever eaten, the Pastry Chef could puts the Cake Boss to shame and the service makes you feel like you are a part of their family. What impressed me the most was that Frank Russo Jr. Himself came tot he wedding to make sure we were happy with everything and if he could do anything for us! If you have a wedding here you MUST get the Venetian hour, you have never seen anything like this. I got married and had my reception at Russo's on the Bay on April 23rd, 2011. It was the best decision we ever made!! Carol Silva, our Consultant, was very helpful in the planning process and made sure everything was on point. My guests are still talking about how delicious the food was and how great the staff were! There is little room for erro when you book with Russo's and they will definitely make you feel like a Queen and King! We will make sure to celebrate other milestones at Russo's! Thank you Carol and Mr. Russo for making our wedding a dream come true!!!

amazing place

We didn't have the ceremony here, but we did have the reception here and that was the best decision ever, after saying yes to the proposal of course. From the advice on planning, to the cake tasting, to unraveling our day. We were able to have our cake customized to something I really wanted, without having to upgrade our package. My husband and I don't usually like being told what to do but Tracy, our maitre' d was phenomenal, and so pleasant to work with and take direction from. She kept us calm and cool throughout the night when we were so lost and overwhelmed with emotion and thought. The food was abundant and AMAZING! The liquor was top shelf, whereas in some places that say your option is top shelf, you can taste that it's been swapped with middle or bottom shelf, or just watered down. The money we spent was well worth it judging by how much fun WE had and the number of guests that are still saying "It was the BEST WEDDING EVER!"

It sounds so cliche but I literally had the time of my life on our wedding night... I will advise any of my future bride friends to celebrate here... :)

Everything was amazing from start to finish, from my first vist to the cake tasting to the ceremony and reception.
I worked with Carol Silva, she got back to me promptly with answers to all my questions. I changed my date 3x within a years time and they were very accomadating.
My wedding of 120ppl quickly ballonned into 240, Mr Russo and his staff handled everything I threw at them without blinking an eye. The services was always impecable, the food/cake was delish…our menu was an 11 choice sit down dinner after a cocktail hour full of international cusine. If you can think it, Russos can make it happen!
On your wedding day all of you needs/wants will be anticipated by the staff there. They provide slippers for the bride and mothers of the Bride & Groom.
Mr. Russo will appear throughout the night to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Whenever people asked where I was getting married and I mentioned Russo’s I ALWAYS got the same response “Great Food and Great Service”. They were absolutely right! Everything was beyond PERFECT. From the very first day I walked in there I was treated like royalty. Since I lived closed by I went to Russo’s whenever I got the chance and everytime I was there the staff greeted me by name and I would fall in love with the place all over again. Carol was my banquet manager and I LOVE THIS WOMAN! We spoke almost daily. Every question, or concern I had she answered. She was helpful and patient and never made me feel like I was bothering her.
The day of the wedding the staff catered to our every need. I never had to ask for a thing because it was already taken care of. Guests told me after that their glasses were never empty and their was always food on their plate.
Mr. Russo himself made a few appearances and went to EVERY SINGLE table asking everyone if they were enjoying themselves.
The Maitre D’ and her assistant made sure DH and I ate and that our parents were also taken care of. They gave us slippers and packed up goodies for all of us to take home.
The food was AMAZING! The cake they created for me was GORGEOUS and tasted DELICIOUS (Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting). People are still calling us and our parents about the wonderful service they received.
I could NOT have picked a better place and I am so glad we chose Russo’s.

Russo's on the Bay is wonderful. I met with Tonianne from Russo's on the bay and she is the most pleasant person to deal with. She helped me choose everything for my wedding reception and it was the most beautiful day of my life. Everything and I mean everything wen't perfect. They do not leave room for any mistakes. The guest loved and I mean loved the food and the service is a 5 star.. No matter how many guest there is every one is treated amazing. Drinks were filled without even asking, food was amazing, service were dressed nicely and respectfull.. Russo's on the Bay is an amazing reception hall and they truly give you royal service.. Everyone there was so nice and the cake there are no words. Tonianne was able to understand my idea and make my day such a wonderful experience...

AMAZING!!! This was our reception venue (our ceremony was in church). From the moment we pulled up, we were treated liek royalty. Our maitre'd made sure at all times that we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The staff was excellent and the food...exceptional. We had a full cocktail hour followed by salad, two pastas, an elevn choice dinner menu, dessert, and a full ventian hour. Our guest were blown away by the service and the amount and quality of the food. We continue to get compliments still!!
Before the wedding, we were kept in close contact with the staff. They would periodically call us to see if we needed any help booking vendors, etc. The entire planning process was so easy! I would 100% reccommend Russo's.

We had our wedding at Russo's on the Bay in March 2015. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of our wedding! The food is unmatched anywhere else, and the wedding package gives each guest a choice of 11 entrees, unheard of in the wedding catering industry! This was very valuable to us and our guests loved every bite. The cocktail hour choices are similarly appealing and varied, with choices of ethnic food tables, types of meats, and other selections. The planning process with the couple, including the tasting, does not really happen until towards the end, near the wedding date. This part made me a bit nervous, however, knowing that they have been doing this a long time successfully, we did trust them. Our Maitre'd was Tracey and she was the best! She dealt a few last minute snafus, such as not enough flowers delivered, and personally made sure everything looked wonderful anyway. The ceremony started a little late due to some traffic in the hallway where we were taking pictures. I recommend either taking photos in the reception room when you arrive or else/in addition in the downstairs "smoking" room, which is lovely. They also have some gardens that I'm sure are nice but it was the winter with snow on the ground, so we did not go out there. The 2nd floor piano is a nice backdrop as well. Overall, the coordination with the DJ and officiant (we had our ceremony in the reception room) was excellent, the food was excellent and everyone had a wonderful time! Highly recommended to all brides and grooms looking for the complete package with no extras to pay for!

Having my wedding at Russo's was just amazing!!

My sisters and I have all had our weddings at Russo's. Just when you think it cant be any better,it does. The service is wonderful. The entire staff is accomadating and on top of everything. Frank Russo himself over seen my wedding personally. He is great to do business with. The atmosphere at russo's is very elegant, they allow for a surprising grand entrance and the food is delicious. It is not cheap to get married there but the quality of service and the amount of food you get can't be beat. I was very relaxed the day of my wedding because I knew Russo's had a great reputation and I knew everything would be perferct. You need to book early because its hard to get a date.

There is so little amount of words that can describe Russo on the bay, just utterly the best around! Great service, Large enough for the entire list of guest(200) and with room to spare. A breathtaking open space and well maintained. Any one will be an idiot not to consider Russo on the bay as a prime location for your venue!

I thought the price that we discussed many times on the phone would have been the price we paid but I was wrong. There was an additional $15,000 of charges that were never discussed. On top of that it was really hard to dispute the additional charges as it took them forever to respond to my emails or calls inquiring about it.

This place really let me down. I was overcharged, they botched some of the food and the whole planning process was extremely stressful due to their lack of communication skills.

The lack of communication was mind blowing. They mis quoted and the price ended up being way more. Took forever to get this guy to call me back to discuss.

There were some clear communication errors that I was extremely shocked that they happened. Lots of hidden costs too that were not clearly communicated.
