We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Russell Morin Catering & Events. As the exclusive operators of Providence Public Library, they truly delivered a seamless, full-service experience that made our wedding day everything we hoped it would be and more.
From the very beginning, their team helped us plan and execute every detail — rentals, food and beverages, lighting, layout, and overall event coordination. Having a full-service team made the planning process so much easier and less stressful than it would have been with a non–full service venue. Everything felt organized, streamlined, and thoughtfully managed.
Our event coordinator, Nicole, and our day-of coordinator, Madeleine, were absolutely incredible. They listened closely to our vision and ensured every detail was executed exactly as we imagined. On the wedding day itself, they kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could fully enjoy the moment with our family and friends.
The food was outstanding — truly one of the highlights of the day. We received countless compliments from guests about everything from the cocktail hour appetizers to the dinner and late-night bites. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
We would wholeheartedly recommend working with Russell Morin to anyone planning a wedding or special event. And as a venue, the Providence Public Library is unmatched — its stunning architecture and unique layout create such a memorable and elegant atmosphere. We are so grateful for the care, professionalism, and expertise that made our day so special. -

I also left a review on the Providence Public Library page (where Russell Morin is the exclusive caterer) but wanted to add one here to shout out our awesome wedding coordinator, Nicole. Nicole was our coordinator both during planning and on the day of, and was excellent to work with. She had all the details covered and set up our decor exactly the way we wanted. Since the library is a bit of a nontraditional venue, it was a relief to work with a caterer with years of experience that offers a full level of planning coordination. Plus the food is fantastic and they're great at accommodating dietary restrictions. Overall, very happy with the level of service from Russell Morin. -

We got married at The Barn at Mt. Hope Farm and wouldn't have changed a thing – our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more. The team at Russell Morin made our vision come to life flawlessly, in a way that was not only easy and flexible, but also fun. From the first tour, to the tasting, to the final prep call and the wedding itself, we felt like VIPs.
When we were planning our wedding, we prioritized having a comfortable venue, great food, and lots of personal touches – RMCE delivered on all three. They were able to make our vision and personal touches come to life beautifully, and our guests were raving about the food. We loved having unique dinner and dessert options, and a family-style dinner service.
During the planning process, Wailynn was super organized, communicative, and responsive – always quick to answer our questions and coordinate the next steps. Our day-of coordinator, Madelaine, was also fantastic. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and was always one step ahead of us. And Stephanie, who took care of us during the reception, was so attentive, kind, and on top of every little detail. This team, in addition to the rest of the staff, made our wedding feel smooth, comfortable, and intimate for us and our guests. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience with them!
Of all the options that are out there, it's easy to choose a venue and event vendor that either does cookie-cutter weddings or is too small to go outside the box. RMCE is neither of those – they strike the perfect balance between having the resources and experience to put on a great wedding, and still being able to make your event unique. The value of what RMCE offers is truly unmatched, and we would highly recommend them to any couples in the wedding planning process! -

My daughter and son-in-law just had their wedding at Mount Hope Cape Cove Cabin. Their tasting was amazing. The expectations for the hors d'oeuvres and entrees were hopeful but you always worry. The hors d'oeuvres, salads, entrees and staffing were flawless. Absolutely incredible. You would think a few folks would comment. Over the last week only extraordinary compliments were given to us. Friends reached out specifically to tell us that the food was amazing. So good. Thank you Russell Morin for making our day incredible. -

Where to even begin? Russell Morin is far and away the best caterer we have ever worked with. We used Russell Morin for three events in Newport for our wedding weekend in June 2025. We did not have a separate wedding planner, so Russell Morin acted as the planner and coordinator for all three events (in addition to being the caterer). This involved coordinating with ~20 different vendors (DJ, audio equipment, florals, Indian caterer, band, henna artists, furniture rental companies, tent rental companies, decor rentals, and many more). The first night was a Welcome Night with drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations and passed desserts wherein we hosted ~275 guests at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The event went off swimmingly and people loved the food. The following night, we hosted a Wedding Ceremony & Sangeet at the International Yacht Restoration School wherein we hosted ~350 guests. The event featured a ceremony, a cocktail hour, a Sangeet, dinner and dancing. The logistics of this event were complex due to the lack of an on-site kitchen and strict fire marshal regulations, but Russell Morin handled the logistics perfectly. Russell Morin brought in their partner Indian Accent to provide food for this event, though RM still provided all of the waitstaff, bar staff, event logistics and more. Finally, our third event featured a Baraat, Hindu Ceremony and dinner reception at Eisenhower House wherein we hosted ~350 guests again. Again, the event was executed perfectly, despite the venue also not having an on-site kitchen, the large guest count, and the added complexities of the Indian traditions like the Baraat and ceremony. Guests loved the food at all three events. The staff were a delight to work with. In particular, we want to thank Lizzy Desibia, who worked with us throughout our wedding planning process and executed all three of our events excellently. She was a pleasure to work with and has become a close friend of ours and our family’s through this process! Similarly, we want to thank Maggie Shields, our day-of coordinator, Emily Rachels, our ceremony coordinator, and Caryl and Emma, our newlywed attendants. Emily walked us and our family members through all the details of our ceremony during the rehearsal and then also guided us through the ceremony on the day-of. Caryl and Emma ensured we always had a drink, a full plate of food, or anything else we needed. All of the Russell Morin staff were fantastic and deserve high praise. We cannot recommend Russell Morin more highly for your wedding or for any other event. I’d recommend getting in touch with them as early as possible during your wedding or event-planning process, as they are real experts and can give you a lay of the land. Thank you, Russell Morin!! -

We had a beautiful wedding at Linden Place in Bristol just last weekend. The service and food.. and the whole show put on by Russell Morin was truly incredible. They made the whole day completely seamless. And they were so detailed and organized throughout the planning process. Shout out to Nicole! I wish I could go back and re-live it all! The very first conversation we had during our entire wedding process was with Dan from Russell Morin. He immediately put us at ease in an incredibly overwhelming process, answering our questions candidly and communicating quickly and efficiently. At first, we thought we might want some more choices/options than the library and Rusell Morin afforded; we soon realized that Russell Morin was exactly what we needed. Throughout the entire process we felt supported and comfortable. From the beginning we were paired with an amazing coordinator, Nicole, who was so prompt in answering our questions and keeping us on track with everything that needed to be done. At the end of the process, we worked once again with Dan, who was our absolutely stellar day-of coordinator, bringing us to a perfect full circle.
The venue: the venue of the PPL is absolutely EXQUISITE – it looks fantastic in photos and does not need much/any additional decoration. The space also works extremely well for having a ceremony on site and flowing into the rest of the evening and events.
The food: THE FOOD IS AMAZING. One of my favorite memories of the entire wedding planning process was the tasting we did with Russell Morin. We had such a hard time narrowing down all the incredible choices! We have received so much positive feedback from our guests. A special priority for us was the vegetarian option, as they often get short shrift at weddings; the vegetarian option (butternut squash risotto) at our wedding was one of the most popular dishes. We did a make your own cannoli bar for dessert that was a huge hit. Also they were able to accommodate our custom cocktails with a specific liquor that we wanted to include. Absolutely incredible and I wish I could eat it all again.
The people: The most important and highest recommendation that I have is the people at Russell Morin. They are so thorough, professional and kind. Nicole helped us bring our vision to life, answering our questions and helping us feel grounded and on track. Dan truly went above and beyond on the day of, including driving through a snow storm to drop off our marriage license (which we had forgotten in the venue at the end of the night). He managed every moment so flawlessly and everything went so smoothly. We could not have asked for a better experience. -

The Most Magical Night
17 years ago, I was a junior bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding which was catered by Russell Morin. Coming from a very large Italian family, food means everything and is taken very seriously, but I can still remember the magical Tuscan Table, delicious Root Beer Floats, and all the other details from my cousin's wedding. Fast forward to 2022, when my now-husband and I got engaged, I knew there was no other option. Russell Morin would be our caterer. From our first conversations with Lynell, to our first meeting with Maggie, to working with Krista on all of the special details, and to come full circle to have Maggie as our Day-Of Coordinator, the entire Russell Morin Catering & Events team was beyond amazing and made our wedding day truly unforgettable! We could not have asked for a better team to work with. From the beginning, it was clear that Russell Morin truly cares about their clients and wants to do everything possible to execute the perfect event. We cannot thank Krista and Maggie enough for their professionalism, attention to detail, and patience, as well as helping us execute our vision of having family-made ice cream and Italian cookies, and a special birthday surprise for one of our guests. And, of course, the food was absolutely phenomenal! Our guests are still raving about the never-ending flow of appetizers, the flavorful entrees, the incredible dessert table, and the presentation of all of the above. Further, the service that Russell Morin provides is second to none. We developed a personal connection with both the coordinators and the day-of staff. They went above and beyond for ourselves and our family members, and we could not be happier. There are not enough words to truly express how grateful we are to the Russell Morin team, Krista, and Maggie for making our wedding a truly unforgettable experience for us and our guests. There is simply no other way to say it than that Russell Morin not only set the standard for catering, but they ARE the standard. We cannot wait to work with Russell Morin again at our next event and highly recommend them to anyone! -

We worked with Morin's for our December 2024 wedding at the Providence Public Library and were blown away by them. The level of service they provided on wedding day was incredible from the bridal attendant who held my train and bouquet as needed and let me take the elevator around the venue to the other staff who sent us home with leftover desserts. They really go out of their way to make sure you don't miss out on the day (especially the food!) by taking care of all the details and making sure you have everything you need.
The food was also incredible. You don't often go into weddings expecting good food, but after our tasting, we were so excited about the food. The guests said they loved it too! -

My husband and I got married at the Glen Manor House in October, the venue was perfection and Russell Morin Catering was a pleasure to work with. All of our guests raved about the food, from the passed appetizers, to the raw bar, to the meal, passed deserts and cake - everything was spectacular. So many of our guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. My husband and I both had the filet and it was top notch - we both made sure we made time to eat the amazing food! Liz was our coordinator and she did an excellent job, anything that I mentioned or asked for happened immediately. Everything ran incredibly smoothly and I know it was because Liz was on top of it and taking care of things behind the scenes. The entire staff we had on our wedding day was excellent, everyone from the wait staff to our oyster shucker was friendly and our guests said they really went above and beyond to get everyone what they asked for and make it extra special. We would highly recommend, I wouldn't have changed a thing, the catering and venue was perfect! -

I had my wedding at the Glen Manor House where Russel Morin does all the catering and coordination. From the start, they were great with helping with all the planning from a year and a half out all the way up to the day of. They helped make the wedding planning less stressful. Overall, the wedding was amazing, just the fairytale I wanted. Everyone at the wedding could not stop raving about the food and the venue. Most saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to! The display of the food was so beautiful and the staff was great and they all just did such a great job. We were also able to do a private food tasting months before the wedding which was awesome! Most companies do not offer that. Highly recommend this company and the Glen Manor House! -

Wow- Russell Morin is incredible!! We had our wedding with them at Glen Manor and we could not be more happy with our big day! Incredible!!
My husband and I got married at Shining Tides in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts in August 2023 and worked with Russell Morin as our caterer. The food, service, and attention to detail was absolutely AMAZING!!! All of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We felt so well taken care of, and the staff were incredibly professional. We had a great experience working with Nicole to finalize our menu and all of our table decor, and we were so happy that she was our day-of coordinator too! She took care of everything so we could just enjoy our day. We cannot recommend RM enough - they made our wedding absolutely magical and we are so grateful to their awesome team!! -

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My husband and I got married this past July, and this catering team was such an amazing group, I would recommend them to anyone. The food is all so good and the dishes unique, the staff was extremely friendly to all the guests (guests were even remarking about this), and Krista is a dream to work with. Even when we went to do the tasting, it was a great experience! Weeks after the wedding, when my husband and I saw friends and family, one of the first things they all remarked about was how delicious the food was. Again, 10/10 experience and highly recommend! -

Premier Catering & Event Company
Russell Morin is by far the premier Catering & Event company in New England. From the food to the staff, everything was top-notch and done at the highest level. We got married June 24th, 2023 and it was the best day of our lives. Krista Briggs and her team did not just cater my event, they helped with planning every aspect of the day. They were involved in the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception. I was so excited when Krista got assigned to our wedding because she was so easy to work with. She genuinely cared about our wedding and was excited for us. Her enthusiasm helped me during those stressful days of planning. The food was terrific! People continue to ask me who catered the wedding because they want to do the same for their events. They have such a wide range of food items, passed hors d'oeuvres and drink choices. The selection for passed hors d'oeuvres was incredible, it was so hard to choose six! I think the best part about working with Krista and Russell Morin was how detail-oriented they were. Krista communicated everything to me and on the day of my wedding, I trusted her completely to set up all that was needed to be set up. They worked very closely with the event planner at my venue and that made it so easy for me to relax (as much as I could) on my wedding day. Abbie Lavery was my husband and I's personal attendant the day of the wedding and she was amazing. She was by our side, giving us drinks and food while we were taking pictures. She always made sure we were taken care of! She also made sure we ate our dinner, something we heard most couples didn't have time to do. We ate our whole meal!! I cannot express enough how amazing this company is. I hope I can use them in the future for events because the food was unforgettable. -

Great experience!
We got married at the Providence Public Library and had Russell Morin Catering & Events cater our event and had a wonderful experience!! Maggie was a fantastic coordinator! She was attentive, thorough, and just genuinely excited for us while helping us plan our big day, and was extremely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed during our wedding. Janet and Hannah were angels, helping me with my bustle, making sure we were eating, even offering flip flops during the reception just in case! The food was HANDS DOWN amazing. We even had a great experience during our tasting! Strongly recommend the fish and chips cone for an app. Overall, RMC is the best. If you want amazing food, great service, and a friendly staff on your special day book them! -

We got married in Bristol, RI at Mount Hope Farm - Russell Morin was the exclusive caterer for our venue. We had the BEST experience with the RM team and we cannot speak highly enough of the individuals who worked with us to make our wedding day simply perfect. From the initial consultation/proposal to our wedding day and beyond we were impressed with the professionalism, quality of service, and pleasant demeanor of every person we connected with. Our (many, MANY) questions were constantly met with concise, clear responses and the RM team worked with us to ensure that our wedding day vision would come to light while being respectful of our budget. People are still talking about our raw bar at cocktail hour!!! The food was FANTASTIC and the service was top notch - they say a picture is worth a thousand words so I will let the photos say the rest!!! -

Kelsey was a DREAM with planning items up to the big day. She was flexible and very organized with all the various emails/exchanges. On the day of Janet and Collen were incredible with the catering staff- making sure we got to enjoy our food warm, always have a drink and event play time with the Goats at MHF! Not to mention- the food with Morin's is FANTASTIC! We loved watching our guests take bites/sips of all the yummy apps, drinks and entrees. It was also very appreciated that Nicole, the day of planner, and her team boxed up our flowers/décor and placed them into our parked cars. Everyone raved about the food including our NYC foodie restaurant guests! Actual quotes: "This is the best wedding food I have ever had in my life!" and when the late night full size cheeseburgers came out "Oh my god this is the best ever!" They were on the high end of the quotes we received but worth every penny. You are definitely having fine dining food and service to match. We were lucky enough to have Maggie the catering manager as our lead and she ran a tight ship. Definitely hire Russell Morin for your wedding! -

My husband and I had such an incredible experience working with Morin's for our August wedding in Cape Cod. From the tasting to the day of, the Morin's team was by our side for all of it. Our guests could not stop raving about how great the food was and how impressed with the catering services were during our wedding reception. My husband and I were very concerned about food when it came to our wedding and wanted to find a caterer who would have our guests walking away and talking about the food for days and weeks to come. That is exactly what Morin's delivered for us. Russell Morin catered our wedding at Shining Tides. They were very professional and easy to work with. We had guests with food allergies and they went out of their way to not only ensure that the guests dinner meals were made allergen friendly but even provided options during cocktail hour. Our friends and family have not stopped talking about how the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! We highly suggest getting the raw bar - the oysters and littlenecks were a huge hit! The passed desserts were also amazing - the whoopie pies were the best I've ever had. I highly recommend using Russell Morin at your wedding or event! -

The Russell Morin team did an amazing job catering for our wedding celebration We wanted to combine the cultures of both our family's and they were able to incorporate both Mexican and Chinese dishes into the menu. To say the least our guest still rave about it. Renee our event manager worked closely with us on all the details and handled all the logistics of the day. Also special shout out to our newlywed attendant who kept us feed and hydrated through the busy night. -

We booked Russell Morin for our wedding in 2019, but like many others we postponed due to COVID. Our initial point of contact changed from Shannon to Rene right before COVID, but there was never a lapse in communication and everything that we had previously discussed with Shannon was already known by Rene. Rene helped to ease the uncertainty 2020 brought and kept us in good hands all throughout the unpredictable changes that were being made. Her constant communication made the whole process easier and less stressful. Krista (our day of coordinator) made our dream wedding possible. She completely nailed what we envisioned for our decor set up. Anything we ever needed for that day Krista was already 10 steps ahead of us. She also managed to speed up the band between sets to ensure all special moments (cake cutting, mother-son dance, father-daughter dance) were captured by the videographer before they left. Krista paid attention to even the smallest of details. There was not a single thing we had to worry about on our wedding day. Our bridal attendant was UNREAL. She was so attentive throughout our whole reception. She even brought us new drinks if she thought the ones we had in our hands were too watered down! And on top of it all she was the absolute sweetest. All of the staff at our wedding were so incredible. They were completely hands on and ensured everything ran smoothly. To top it off, the food was absolutely brilliant. We still have family and friends talking about our cocktail hour, buffet, and especially the cake! I will forever be grateful for choosing Russell Morin to cater our wedding. The service provided, from food to rentals to lighting and everything in between is incredible. -

Everything about working with Russell Morin for our wedding was fantastic! Not only was the food amazing, but the staff is second to none! Maggie helped us throughout the entire planning process and not only guided us in our food choices, but offered unique and wonderful suggestions about decor. Russell Morin made everything easy by even setting up the coordination of extra linens and chairs. Can't say enough good things about the entire process!
On the actual night of the wedding, the entire staff was so attentive to not only us as the bride and groom (shout out, Judy!), but also to each and every one of our guests. Jess, our day-of coordinator, was equally as wonderful and attentive to all of the details. We had absolutely nothing to worry about on the day of and Jess made sure of that! She worked seamlessly with all our other vendors to make sure absolutely nothing was missed and kept us on track during the night!
Safe to say we would recommend Russell Morin to any stranger, friend, or family member! -

Best Wedding Caterer Experience!
We hired Russell Morin for our daughter's wedding. The food, service and overall experience totally exceeded our expectations! We had to change venues mid way through the process due to Covid restrictions and also had to delay the reception for a year. Russell Morin was totally flexible and so great to work with.
Renee was our wedding coordinator and as the mother of the bride I could not have made it through the process without her.
The staff was professional and so attentive to our guests. The menu was all vegan and the food was absolutely delicious (even the meat eaters enjoyed it!).
I highly recommend this caterer and had feedback from many guests on the great service they received. -

I cannot say enough high praises for RM! My husband and I had the best day EVER thanks to their amazing staff. The food and service were incredible, we continue to hear from friends and family about how amazing their meals were and everyone is raving about the cocktail hour apps! - but seriously, everyone keeps saying this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding.
We worked with Lynell and she was so fabulous! From the beginning at our tasting, to the planning during a pandemic, to the actual wedding day, she was so wonderful to work with. Our wedding attendant was so amazing as well, and always knew when we needed a drink (and saved my husband the last of his favorite craft beer). RM gave us to-go boxes at the end of the night, we barely had time for dinner, so that turkey sandwich saved us at 3 am! They even packaged up two slices of wedding cake that we took on our honeymoon, it was so delicious!
The decor we rented through RM was everything I ever envisioned the day to be, I was in shock all day at how gorgeous everything looked, seeing my vision come to life with their help setting up. Thank you Russel Morin for everything, we highly recommend working with their team for your wedding! -

Anyone locally knows RM is already an impressive caterer but let me just say they exceeded all expectations!! We had guests who were just recently married with very delish food tell me this was the best wedding food they have ever had. And not just their meal, every single dish. Ever single thing eaten! Apps, dinner, late night snacks and cake. All absolutely incredible. So impressed. I will dream about that food for the rest of my life I swear! The service was great as well. Russel Morin thinks of everything. We had our wedding at the Providence Public Library and everything was taken care of-- from coat check to servers to our bridal attendant to our wonderful coordinator, Paige. The food was amazing. We got so many compliments on the entrees and the appetizers. When I wanted a baked brie, Paige said no problem and made a delicious one happen. I asked for a spicy margarita for our signature drink and they were SPICY, just how I love them. Overall, Russel Morin made our evening beautiful and special and took over so many of the logistics, handling food allergies and sensitivities perfectly. I would absolutely recommend Russel Morin for any event. -

Writing as the MOB. Maggie was excellent. The food was superior and all the employees were great. Maggie was extremely attentive before and during the wedding. She made sure everything was on schedule and to our liking. We had a downpour right at the start of cocktail hour as the guests arrived, and the team went into action and reset up inside and then very quickly moved back outside after the storm. All of our guests raved about the quality and presentation of the food. -

We cannot say enough good things about our experience! We worked with Lynell and she is hands down the best person we have had the pleasure of working with for our wedding. She was responsive, knowledgable, flexible, understanding... the list goes on! During multiple Covid reschedules, she was always right there with a smile to make things as easy as possible. On the day of the wedding, the entire Russell Morin team were incredible, attentive, and kept everyone happy.

My husband and I just celebrated our one year anniversary in July, and we still can not believe how amazing our wedding day was at The Providence Public Library. When we first walked through The Providence Public Library, we knew it was our venue. Not only was it a stunning location with tons of history in the heart of Providence, but the fact that you have the Russell Morin team to help you plan your wedding day and to help you craft the most delicious menu - Talk about a dream come true! Paige, Ardriana, and the entire Russell Morin Catering & Events team were so thoughtful and caring when it came to our wedding day. Being a wedding planner myself, it was so important to be able to enjoy the planning process and to focus on just being a bride. Paige, Ardriana and the team made sure of that and more! They set up everything just as we spoke about and truly brought our vision to life. From planning to the day of, we are so grateful for all of their hard work and dedication! The stations, and menu we selected for our wedding day were beautifully executed and tasted AMAZING. We love all the local flair we were able to incorporate into our big day - Rhode Island Oysters shucked to order & Del's Lemonade!! (Yes, as the couple, we got to eat it all too!!) Our loved ones STILL rave about our wedding day! Paige, Ardriana, and the entire Russell Morin Catering & Events Team are the best. We worked with Lynell throughout planning two weddings. We had our original plan that was to take place in Sept 2020 and then once Covid took over private events - we downsized drastically and moved our venue to my Fiance's house on the Cape. She was flexible, helpful, held our hand thru the whole process. Then when events were downsized to 50ppl including vendors within 30 days of our event - we decided to cancel. They were gracious and understanding making a stressful and heart breaking time easier. -

Russell Morin catered my wedding in October. Every employee we interacted with from initial planning/tasting to our wedding day was extremely professional and so friendly! The tasting experience was very nice. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to pick anything. They were also super open to any ideas we had. They did three signature cocktails for us and they all tasted amazing! We had to drop off some of our own items that we were going to use at the wedding (copper mugs, etc). They were super flexible and extremely organized and made sure everything got back to us in perfect condition. Our Newlywed Attendant was AMAZING! She made sure that we always had what we needed, whether it was a glass of champagne or some appetizers. I changed my dress after our ceremony so I didn't get to go to our cocktail hour, but she came up to the bridal suite and brought me a sampler plate with a couple of each of our hors d'oeuvres! This was so unexpected, but EXTREMELY appreciated as I wouldn't have gotten to try any if she hadn't done that! She also boxed up some late night snack for us and sent them home on the shuttle with us. Seriously, amazing! All of the food was absolutely delicious! So many people came up to me and told me it was the best wedding dinner they had ever had. The raw bar we had at cocktail hour was also a big hit. Everyone said the oysters and shrimp were out of this world! I really can't speak highly enough about the staff. Everyone was so pleasant and kind to all of the guests! Dinner and wine service had perfect timing. No long gaps between courses or anything like that. They exceeded any and all expectations I had! -

Below is an excerpt from the email I wrote to Ardriana, our event manager at Providence Public Library and our day-of-coordinator. I wrote this only 2 days after our wedding, which fully describes how appreciative we were for the entire Russell Morin team. The venue (Providence Public Library) was absolutely gorgeous. Most importantly, Ardriana was available to answer questions whenever I had them (and I had plenty!!). They made the process so incredibly easy, and the day of felt like such a breeze because they are absolute professionals and experts at making weddings amazing. Ardriana and all of Russell Morin so thoughtful in helping us with some small pieces of our wedding -- for example, I asked if they had a specific thing that I hadn't seen on the menu but I knew my parents and family would like...and they came back and said they could do it?!! Or helping us with our vegan guests, figuring out dress changes (I changed into a traditional Chinese qipao in the the reception), and...everything. We cannot recommend them enough. Also so many people were obsessed with their food -- SEVERAL people texted me how good the chicken was. Nobody compliments chicken unless it's actually amazing. Which it was.
"We've already expressed this, but again, thank you (and the staff) so so much for making this our picture perfect wedding. You made the entire process so easy and enjoyable for us and you made our wedding day so seamless, special, and wonderful. Absolutely everything was perfect -- the cake! The lighting! Getting us when we were scheduled to do something! And people RAVED about the food -- I've never heard anybody talk about chicken so earnestly. We knew the venue was beautiful but didn't know how even more beautiful it'd be for our own wedding. I really don't know how I could have planned a wedding without Morins and I will sing high praises of your team and the venue for my whole life." -

Russell Morins was the best choice we made for our wedding (besides marrying each other, of course!) Ardriana was our wedding planner at the Providence Public Library Location - she made the process completely effortless, stress-free and fun. We were dreading planning a wedding and all that went into it, but looking back, doing it through Russell Morins catering and with Ardriana was the easiest thing we've EVER done. Days later we are still getting calls and texts about how perfect the day was and how incredible the food was (we had a group of tough critics: and the food was the "best food they've ever had" - not exclusive to just wedding food!). Russell Morins is far more than a catering company, the entire staff is joyful, personable, hard-working and extremely professional. We barely lifted a finger, yet our day was full of personal touches and details specific to us! They made our wedding more perfect than we could have imagined, we truly cannot thank them enough. -

The venue we chose, Shining Tides in Mattapoisett, MA, only works with Russell Morin catering and for good reason - the food was delicious. I got a few comments from our guests that the food at our wedding was a step above most other weddings they've been to and I think they're telling the truth. I would highly recommend Russell Morin to anyone looking for a caterer for an upcoming wedding! Renee was our coordinator and she was wonderful and went above and beyond helping with small details and making the day go smoothly - thank you so much to her, and to Morgan, our wedding party server, and everyone else, we had a truly perfect day and are so lucky to have had so many people working hard to make it that way! -

The entire RM team, and Renee and Stephanie in particular, is exceptional. They are professional and warm and a pleasure to work with, and inspired so much confidence that everything would go smoothly. There are a few things that I think set them apart:
1) hot, delicious food for 210 people, made out of the basement of a barn! We did a wedding at home, and when we showed them the unfinished barn basement where they would set up the kitchen (which didn't even have running water at the time) they said it would be no problem. The food was absolutely perfect, beautifully plated, and it all came out hot!! for 210 people!! that's magic.
2) there is love in their food! The hardest part for me in planning such a big wedding was giving up control of the food. Had we had a small wedding, I would have loved to cook myself. They clearly take pride in their talents and in creating an experience that enhances the spirit of a wedding. not only was the food mind-blowingly good -- my husband and I and all of our guests felt truly cared for.
3) lovely, lovely, lovely people -- starting with Renee and extending to every server and staff person we encountered. They felt like friends by the end of the night! I was also so touched and grateful for Stephanie's attentiveness all night -- the second I even considered needing something, she was there with it!
4) allergy awareness -- My husband has celiac and we had a number of special dietary needs and allergies, some of them severe. I can't say enough how much care and attention they brought to these needs/constraints, and how knowledgeable and happy to accommodate they were.
I loved everything about Russell Morin and am so grateful for how much they contributed to our day. So much more than a catering company! I'm just so glad we found them. -

Where do I begin?! Morins was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. Not only was their food DELICIOUS but their service and attention to detail was outstanding. Let me start with the food, everyone always says that wedding food, especially for big weddings, which ours was (200+people), so I wasn't expecting too much when we were looking for food vendors, and then I tasted Morin's food. It is honestly some of the best food I have ever had and I have eaten and a number of Michelin star restaurants. We had so many guests come up to us after the wedding asking about the apps during cocktail hour, the meals, and the cake! The food was delicious. Second, their service was simply outstanding. Another thing everyone told me as we were planning for our wedding was that I would never actually get to eat or drink anything. Morins made sure that was not the case. They assigned one server for the night who's entire job was to make sure me and my husband had food and drinks in hand. She met us at the door of the cocktail hour with a plat of apps just for us and already made drinks, and continued to make sure we were well fed and hydrated all night. Thank you!! Additionally, Shannon, who was the lead event coordinator who worked with us and our wedding planner to organize the food and drink portion of the event was an absolute pleasure to work with and always made us feel like she had everything under control. She was incredibly responsive and flexible and collaborative in figuring out solutions to any challenges that arose. Our wedding was at our home on the Cape and so they had to get creative with where to put the kitchen and many other details that were expertly handled. And lastly, their attention to detail and flexibility was so appreciated. My family has a lot of deathly, anaphylactic allergies (we call ourselves the allergy family), and Morin's handled each allergy with grace and professionalism, and ensured the safety of my family and our guests. Thank you so much to the entire team for the part you played in making our dream day a reality! -

I had the most incredible experience working with Rachael and the team at Russel Morin Catering. I am a food writer and had MANY opinions about the food. I personally hate wedding food and originally wanted to have a restaurant cater our big day because I knew they could deliver the level of food I wanted. Our planner convinced us to consider Russel Morin catering. They NAILED the menu, service, and even the more casual style of plating and family-style meal I wanted. They did the most beautiful Spanish tapas and small bites spread for cocktails - I still have friends and family contact me about how wonderful the food was. I highly recommend working with this company! They are worth every penny. -

As soon as I started looking at venues and came across some photos of a Russel Morin event, I knew that I had to have them cater my wedding. To say that they exceeded my expectations is a complete understatement. From the kindness of the staff to the deliciousness of their New England offerings, there is such an incredible attention to detail and the highest level of standards . They truly want to make your wedding the best day of your life and are willing to do anything to help create your vision. If you get Racheal as your coordinator, you can count yourself even luckier. She is the best and loves what she does. From helping me source VT cheeses for my cocktail hour to literally decorating my wedding cake with mussel shells, Rachael was (no pun intended) hands on from start to finish. I'm obsessed with her and with Russel Morin. Your caterer is one of biggest decisions of your wedding planning and I can guarantee if you choose Russel Morin, it will be one of the easiest.
