Samantha is an absolute dream! I had been in weddings she photographed before, and I knew right away that I wanted her for my own wedding. She is genuinely one of the kindest people and so easy to talk to and work with. From the very beginning, she made it clear that we and our vision were her top priority.
Our engagement session was so much fun—she made us feel completely comfortable and carefree in front of the camera. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond the role of a photographer and honestly felt like a wedding coordinator. She kept everything running smoothly, helped us stay on track, and made the entire day feel effortless.
I also loved that she works alongside her husband—they are truly the perfect team. And the photos… absolutely GORGEOUS. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Truly, book Sam. You will be so happy with your decision—I promise! -

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!
I would recommend Rule Creative Co to any bride without hesitation. Samantha was incredibly responsive from day one and made the entire experience feel personal, seamless, and genuinely supportive. With all the nerves leading up to the big day, she had such a calming presence and truly helped ease the stress. The photos we received captured everything we wanted— the candid moments and the emotional ones.
On the wedding day, Samantha and Justin were absolute rockstars—running to grab things we missed, keeping everyone on track, and helping us handle high-stress moments with grace. Their organization and leadership allowed us to fully enjoy our day without worrying about the details.
The personal touches meant so much to us, from the thoughtful packages sent in the mail to receiving our photo book before the reception was even over. The ornament with one of our wedding photos was such a heartfelt surprise and something we’ll cherish forever. Rule Creative Co went above and beyond in every way, and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our day unforgettable! -

Working with Samantha and Justin was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. They’re such a genuine husband-and-wife team and truly a dream to work with. From the first message to the final gallery and video, everything felt easy, personal, and fun.
Samantha is the best hype girl — warm, organized, and so thoughtful. She made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and caught every little moment without it ever feeling forced. Justin’s video work is incredible — every time we watch it, it brings us right back to that day.
They care deeply about their couples, and it shows in every photo and every frame. They captured our day exactly how it felt — full of joy, love, and laughter.

The best!!!
Samantha was the absolute best! She was beyond helpful and made sure the day went so smooth. We used her for our north shore elopement, and she went above and beyond every step of the way. She made us feel so at ease and the pictures turned out better than I ever could have hoped!! -

The BEST duo you’ll find!
Samantha & her husband Justin were the photographers/videographers for our wedding but that’s not all….. They also were the calm to the chaos. Samantha made sure to check in on me so much throughout the entire day to ask how I was feeling, see if I needed anything, made sure I was hydrated, sensed when I was stressed and magically calmed me down immediately, made sure every photo I wanted was captured, etc…. Her husband also raced to grab things when needed, get people where they needed to be, and brought such a calm energy. I really can’t say enough good things about them and to be honest, I don’t think there’s a better “duo” out there. Our guests also commented on how great they were! Their professionalism throughout the whole process was amazing and the work that they do is incredible. They also stayed longer than they were scheduled just so my “sparkler send off” vision came to life and didn’t hesitate about it when I realized the time! They just made it happen! THEN, I found out they gave us a special gift to look through at the end of the night, which was a book of some of our photos!! The same night! So so special! We haven’t received our full gallery yet, but just from the sneak peek, I can tell I’m going to be absolutely speechless. I already can’t pick a favorite because they’re all so great. We are so grateful to have hired them to do the job and really don’t even have the words to describe how thankful we are. We will definitely be hiring Rule Creative Co. for future moments!! 100/10 recommend!! 🥹🥰 -

The BEST Wedding Photographer!
Sam truly went above and beyond every step of the wedding process. From the engagement session, to the wedding, to the time after, she went out of her way to make us feel so special. Sam is incredibly kind, professional, and immensely talented. Every time we took photos with Sam she made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun. During the wedding, Sam and Justin worked together so well. Many members of my bridal party and family commented that she was one of the best wedding photographers they have worked with. Sam always had a smile and was willing to check in. She helped me make my timeline for my wedding day and helped to make sure the day ran smoothly. Hiring Sam as my wedding photographer was the best investment we made in our wedding. She is truly the best and I give her my highest recommendation for anyone looking for a wedding photographer! -

Samantha and Justin were truly amazing. After having an incredible experience shooting my sister’s wedding, it was a no brainer having them apart of my wedding day. What I did not know was that they were going to be an additional support system guiding me to a perfect wedding experience. HIGHLY recommend Rule Creative Co to anyone! Her photos are a stunning piece of art! We are so excited to be able to look through the photos over the years and be able to relive the wedding day all over again. We met Samantha online via zoom and connected immediately like friends. She helped us coordinate our outfits for the engagement photos which we did on the North Shore. She also helped out with our wedding day timeline which helped relieve so much stress from us. Her husband and her worked so well together at our wedding and it felt like she was able to bring out the best of ourselves for the photos. Everything went so smooth and she made the day so much less stressful. She was attentive, helped us stay on time, and accommodating to ensure we were comfortable in the outdoor winter photos. Throughout the wedding process we feel like we gained a wonderful life long photographer to capture moments of our life. She is truly amazing and I am so glad I found her. As long as she is doing photography, we will be going to her. -

Samantha was hands down my favorite wedding vendor. You can tell she truly cares about not only her work, but her clients, on a deep level. As someone who feels awkward in front of the camera, she made me feel absolutely comfortable - I'd go so far as to say I actually enjoyed my time in front of the camera!
On our wedding day, she showed up on time and got right to work. I distinctly remember having a few moments of panic related to our timeline, but she was so reassuring and helped calm me down. She also ensured that our first look was private, even though we didn't leave the building that everyone was getting ready in.
Samantha's style is bright and natural, without being overly edited, which is what drew me to her work in the first place. She turns photos around so quickly - I was blown away by how fast we got our photos during a very busy wedding season.
One last shoutout to Samantha for making the trip all the way to the North Shore for our engagement photos in February. It was icy and cold, but that didn't stop her from giving 110%!
Even though we live in the Twin Cities Metro, we've found our family photogrpaher! I'm already looking forward to the next time that I get to work with Samantha! -

Rule Creative Co is the best!
We hired Rule Creative Co for our wedding photographer and videographer. Samantha and her husband did an amazing job! Portraits were so seamless and they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Many people at the wedding talked about how great the photographers were! Samantha is just the sweetest person in the world and you can tell how much she cares about her business. I just love her energy and kindness! She went above and beyond and even helped me bustle my dress, picked up my dress so it didn’t drag in the mud, and always made sure I wasn’t too cold (it was only 30 degrees out). She was always checking in on me to see if I needed anything throughout the day. Not to mention, the photos turned out amazing, and the video is so beautiful it makes me cry every time I watch it (in a good way!) If you are looking for a photographer/videographer I would 100% hire Rule Creative Co if I were you. -

Simply the BEST
Hiring Samantha to be our wedding photographer AND videographer was the best wedding choice I made. Not only were the end results fabulous (every photo and the video), but working with her was smooth and easy. When she arrived to our home where the wedding was located, she was cool, calm, & collected. She helped keep me at ease on my wedding day the entire 10 hours she was there. Her soul is very caring, generous, and kind. Her 2nd photographer was her hubby, Justin. He was also very kind and fun. All my friends & family LOVED them as well. My girlfriends & family still talk about how beautiful my wedding photos and video is every time I see them! 1000/10 recommend Rule Creative Co! 🤩 -

Could not be happier!
Communication was amazing. I never had to wait more than a day for a response, but usually heard back within a couple hours. She understood my vision for the photos and made sure to bring it to life! She was very professional but also felt like a friend by the day of the wedding. Her excitement was genuine and she was so helpful. I cannot recommend Samantha enough! The photos are everything I could have dreamed of! Do yourself a favor and choose Samantha as your photographer! -

If you are reading this because you are considering hiring Samantha, LOOK NO FURTHER!! Samantha is the best of the best and I would give her a million stars if I could.
I researched for hours and hours to try and find a great photographer/videographer for our wedding, and finding Samantha was hands down one of the best decisions I made by far. I now sit here with a beautiful wedding video, a gazillion perfect engagement and wedding photos and now my only problem is I have too many favorite pictures to choose from.
Throughout our wedding planning process, Samantha was completely present, responsive and incredibly kind. She showed up early on our wedding day with the perfect balance of calmness and assertiveness. She was able to wrangle our wedding party, family, guests, and our dog while keeping everyone at ease- which was not an easy task to do!
You can so easily tell she loves what she does because it reflects so clearly in her work. We are so blessed to have gotten to work with such an incredible person, and we are so excited to continue to hire her for all of our photo needs in the future!! -

Sam did the photos for our Reception and I can confidently say that if you are looking for a photographer, she is your girl! She is more than just a photographer. She helped with the entire flow of our reception in any way she could. My husband and I were apart from each other when we were planning our wedding. I'm still on active duty stationed in Washinton, and my husband has returned to Minnesota to study. We did everything on our own, like finding "vendors." I found Rule and Creative Co. and viewed their website. On-point details, no hidden fees whatsoever. She's based in Minnesota, and I'm impressed with how flexible and easy to talk to. You can tell she's very experienced in this field. Wherever I am (Nevada, California, and Washington), she helped me immensely with the process. Bonus points also for giving a military discount. On your wedding day, she'll be your 2nd best friend! Sam was the first photographer I thought of after getting engaged and I’ve not once regretted my decision. Samantha and her husband photographed our wedding in August this year, and it was perfect! Leading up to the wedding, Samantha was so great about reaching out to us with ideas and information. She met with us prior to our wedding to go over details, and it was so helpful because she was able to offer insight on our timeline and it made us feel like someone was checking to make sure we hadn't missed any large details! On the day of our wedding, she was so fun, and she helped make our day run so smoothly! I feel like we asked her to capture so many things, but she never once made us feel rushed! She encouraged us to take little moments throughout the day to simply be with each other, and we are so glad we did because the day goes so fast! We would recommend Rule Creative to everyone! Choosing a photographer can feel overwhelming and expensive, but Samantha made it feel so easy and the photos and video we got back are priceless! Absolutely amazing
To say Sam is amazing would be an absolute understatement. From all the way back when I first messaged her to the day of she was always there. Her communication is amazing, her vibe and energy is what every person needs for their wedding, her website, and her facebook/Instagram profiles show her amazing quality. The day of she was on it even things that were not her job such as flowers being forgotten to hand out and buttons falling off she took care of it right away. The amount of times I was blown away are countless. She made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. I am obsessed with our pictures and love Sam!! Samantha is PHENOMENAL. Initially I was drawn to her style--she captured such beautiful moments and made them look light & airy, which is exactly what I was looking for. As we were getting closer to the date, she sent us gift packets, including guides and books and little treats to help make wedding planning a little bit more pleasant.
The day of, her car broke down, but SHE STILL CAME. ON TIME. I would have been in tears, but she came with the biggest smile and the coolest attitude. She made all of us feel like ourselves, and special. I know she sees a lot of couples and weddings and family portraits, but the best part was that she made you feel like it was the only wedding she's ever covered. Throughout the day, she was extremely helpful and organized, getting through family portraits quickly and efficiently and focusing on candid moments. The photos turned out so beautiful, I can't stop looking at them.
After the ceremony, she turned the photos around incredibly quickly. This is for all the impatient brides out there-- Sam did not disappoint. She made blog posts with photos, gave us sneak previews, and posted on social like lightning. She also sent us our USB along with a HAND! PAINTED! WATERCOLOR PORTRAIT of us. The experience you get with her is insanely good.
The best part of it all, she is so sweet and amazing to work with. If you're looking for a top notch photographer who cares about you, Samantha is the one! -

We LOVE Rule Creative Co
Samantha was absolutely amazing to work with! We picked Rule Creative Co. to shoot our wedding and engagement photos because of how reasonably priced it was compared to many other photographers and because they totally fit the style we envisioned our pictures in! We were a little worried we'd be awkward in photos but taking pics with Samantha was so easy and she made posing for pictures so simple and super fun! We absolutely adore our photos and we get so many compliments from our friends and family on how amazing they all turned out! Samantha was also more than a photographer on our wedding day, she even was kind enough to do random things that we totally forgot to have someone do! She almost acted like a personal assistant at times and made our whole day so much easier! We would totally recommend Rule Creative Co to anyone considering getting photos done for any occasion!!! -

Samantha was wonderful to work with! She made our day so special and really catered to what we wanted! She went above & beyond to make sure our day was perfect - she even steamed wrinkles out of my dress before the ceremony! 100% recommend Samantha.
