Best night of our lives!

My husband and I got married at Ruffled Feathers in September of 2023. We honestly didn't have any idea what we were doing, but luckily we had Elysa to guide us, making our wedding a very special day. She was extremely responsive, accommodating, and kind. She helped keep the stress of wedding planning to a minimum. All of the food was made in house, and it turned out great! On top of that, the facility including the golf course is beautiful. We would recommend getting married here.

Best wedding Venue for stunning views and amazing service!

I would like to thank Pam S/Kiley F and the entire staff at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club for making my Niece’s wedding rehearsal dinner amazing. Every detail that was planned was done perfectly. Very courteous and hospitable from the moment we arrived. Views from the banquet room overlooking the golf course were stunning. The tables in the room had beautiful centerpieces and candles. Chivalry chairs added to elegant setup. Dinner was 5 star elegance, delicious perfectly grilled Filet mignon very tender excellent quality. Chefs kiss! We were able to get beautiful pictures through out the event. Thank you Jim you are the sweetest in bringing the golf cart around to take the entire bridal party to get photos. Everyone at Ruffled Feathers Golf went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend anyone to host any special event big or small. Thank you to the entire staff at Ruffled Feathers golf club. You all did a wonderful job and we appreciated your hospitality and kindness throughout the event.

Wedding Venue

My husband and I got married here on 9/21/24 and it was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is so gorgeous by itself, between the all white reception room, beautiful chandeliers and gorgeous bar that takes up the whole wall, we didn't really need much outside decor! We were able to comfortably fit 180 people with a huge dance floor in the middle and the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour was awesome for our guests to be able to spread out and get some fresh air. We worked with Kiley for all communication leading up to the day and she was very responsive and helpful when it came to all the details, planning the tasting and planning the actual wedding day. She worked closely with our day of coordinator about 1 month out and on the wedding day to make sure everything was set up perfectly and ran according to plan, and it did. They also partnered with Orland Park Bakery for our wedding cake for all guests, and it was SO delicious. It was included with our food/beverage package, they had it delivered on the wedding morning and we didn't have to worry about any of the logistics of delivery or anything. They were able to get a plated dinner service to our 180 guests quickly and we had multiple guests tell us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! We are so happy we chose Ruffled Feathers as our venue and would do it all over again if we could!

Bridal Shower`

I had my bridal shower at Ruffled Feathers and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff at Ruffled Feathers truly made my experience so much better. My guests also couldn’t stop raving about the food. Definitely recommend!

Best Venue Ever

Elysa and her staff made our wedding day beyond magical!!! It could not have gone better!! They were so professional, courteous, helpful, and sweet I can't speak of them highly enough!!! 5 stars is no where near high enough of a rating!! The food was amazing and the planning process was made so easy! They made amazing suggestions and didn't pressure us to choose more expensive options. Elysa has so many creative ideas. We would bring her ideas and she would take those ideas, run with them, and make them 1000 times better!!

Lovely Experience

Throughout the whole process the team was so easy to work with and very accommodating. My husband and I are both glad we chose Ruffled Feathers as our venue. We received many compliments from our guests telling us how elegant and put together the venue is. From the food, cleanliness, and staff, Ruffled Feathers is the perfect place for a wedding.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The workers are so helpful and professional and just downright amazing. I wanna give a shout out to Elisa (hopefully I spelled it right lol), she was PHENOMENAL. Everything was amazing. Hope more of my friends get married here!

Our Winter Wedding

Our winter wedding was absolutely perfect! Kathy and Taylor made sure every detail was taken care of and followed through on each request we made! They got a valet service set up for our guests, facilitated an amazing transition from ceremony to reception, and had a fantastic staff! We had the best day!

Highly Satisfied with Service, Quality of Food and Accomodating Staff

After visiting many different venues we decided to have my daughter's wedding shower at Ruffled Feathers last summer. We couldn't have been more pleased with the entire event. It was a tremendous value for the delicious food, wonderful service and beautiful atmosphere. When it came time for the baby shower Ruffled Feathers was our first choice. Kathy was very understanding and accommodating to our specific needs during the Covid 19 pandemic. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ruffled Feathers to a friend and will happily host my next event at this venue.

Amazing Service!

I found Ruffled Feathers through various search engines and websites. My Husband and I were on a tighter budget but we wanted elegance, a good location, and a trusted venue. After looking at a variety of venues from halls with caterers to elaborate mansions, we went with Ruffled Feathers based on their package pricing and the very personalized attention we received. Kathy is so wonderful and was extremely helpful when we had to make a wedding date change due to a family medical issue. She worked with us on not only our costs, but what would be the best option to give us the most for our money.
We did start with a wedding coordinator that left, but we worked with Brianna for the last few months prior. She is really willing to go above and beyond to help make the day perfect. I appreciated that I could drop my centerpieces and decor off and they put them out. I really did not have to worry about much with respect to them. The package included our wedding cake through Orland Park Bakery and it was beautifully decorated to our specifications.
The food and service from our ceremony through the end of our reception was impeccable. Both Brianna and Kathy communicated and were responsive to our inquiries. I would highly recommend this venue for the beautiful backdrop, the value for what you receive, the quality of the food, and the invaluable service received.

Absolutely Amazing in all aspects!

Ruffled Feathers was absolutely amazing! Kathy and Brianna were extremely accommodating to all of our wedding needs and wants & made our venue beautiful with all of our decorations. The venue alone is so modern and gives such a unique twist to the everyday banquet hall from the terrace room which has a wall of windows with gorgeous views, geometric lights, "Chicago" wall, large bridal suite, "stone" bar, gazebo, balconies, the banquet hall covered in windows which brings so much light in, and much much more! It's also a one wedding venue which made it all the more fun for guests to roam! From appetizers through the "4th Meal" the staff put us first. So many of our guests could not stop talking about how full they were but also how they wanted to keep eating because the food was "absolutely delicious." On top of all this greatness we were told by guests how nice and friendly the staff and servers were to them :) The staff was absolutely amazing. They all made sure to put us (the bride and groom) first! Brianna helped every step of the way from us entering the venue to our departure!
Every time he or I were at the bar a drink was already being made for us without hesitation. For last call the bartenders came up to us and handed us a drink. The staff was absolutely flawless. The entire staff knew how crazy weddings can get and how engulfed the bride and groom become with guests and the entire night that they really took care of us and we cannot thank Ruffled Feathers and the ENTIRE staff for making our night so perfect for not only us but for making our guests rant and rave about how awesome the staff and venue is.

Amazing Venue

Ruffled Feathers exceeded my expectations when having my wedding there on 10/19/18. Lexi was amazing and made everything go smoothly. After checking out other venues, Ruffled Feathers' price was very reasonable compared to what you were given at other places for the same price. I cannot like this venue enough. I was concerned about the size of room because I had a large wedding 260 people but everything went perfectly and my guests cannot stop raving to me about how amazing of a time they had; how good the food was; and how beautiful the venue was. If you choose to have your wedding here you will not be disappointed and ask that Lexi be your planner because she goes over and beyond to make things perfect for you!!

Ruffled Feathers was the perfect venue for my daughter's July reception. From beginning to end, it was fantastic! So many of our guests went out of their way to tell me this was one of the best weddings they had ever attended and the reception was certainly a large part of that. Since we had Ruffled Feathers all to ourselves (225 guests) we were able to take advantage of all the different rooms and had such beautiful backdrops for our photos. This really is such a treat as many other venues offer you only one space. The cocktail reception was lovely and the banquet hall was set up beautifully for dinner. A friend of mine, whose husband works for Levy Restaurants, said the food was great, and aside from the fact that the soup was served in bowls without saucers, I have not a single negative thing to say about the dinner. Absolutely wonderful!

Since we were a large group that liked to dance, we asked the staff to remove one of the head tables which they did promptly. It was a fear of mine that we would not have enough space on the dance floor, but it turned out being just perfect! I do wish I had had the DJ announce the dessert table, since I think some of the guests might have missed the amazing pastries. But fortunately for us (and my dad who has a huge sweet tooth) we were allowed to take the sweets home and enjoyed them while entertaining over the next couple of days. The desserts were simply outstanding! Truly. If you're wondering whether to go with the package that includes the desserts, I would definitely say yes! For us, it was a last minute addition and I'm so glad we did it.

Bottom line: the evening flowed seamlessly as every detail was taken care of with great care and attention. Cathy and Jaclyn were absolutely lovely to work with and planning the reception with them was fun. I would definitely recommend this venue 100% and would love to use it again for another one of my daughter's weddings.

Ruffled Feathers is absolutely amazing! We received SO many compliments from our wedding guests and our vendors on how fabulous the service, food, and drinks were. Jaclyn made everything so easy. She made sure that my wedding day was set-up perfectly and continuously checked in throughout the night to ensure that we were taken care of. I honestly can't say enough good things about Ruffled Feathers and the people that work there. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and Ruffled Feathers was a huge factor in that.

Our experience at Ruffled Feathers was amazing! Jaclyn took care of us so well. She even set up all the decorations and centerpiece flowers for us. Our guests could not stop talking about how incredible the food was and how gorgeous the venue was. Our wedding was on April 20, 2018 and we are so happy that we chose Ruffled Feathers for our venue. For the most part, we worked with Jaclyn and she is so nice and accommodated us for all of the requests that we asked. Kathy is also great to work with. Everything from our ceremony, to cocktail hour and reception were fantastic! Jaclyn made sure that everything was set up as we requested, all of the staff was very kind and they were wonderful with everyone's dietary restrictions (and there were quite a few) helping us figure out what everyone was able to eat. Responses to emails were very quick, which I appreciated greatly. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful on the inside and outside. We got some great pictures outside! I highly recommend Ruffled Feathers to anyone planning an event!

There are so many wonderful things to say about Ruffled Feathers, I truly don't know where to start. Our first meeting was with Kathy, and she was very nice and very thorough! She helped us with pricing and scheduling so we could get the best date available. Jaclyn was SO helpful! I sent MANY emails and had a lot of questions... often; and a lot of requests to help make our big day perfect. Let me tell you, Jaclyn is a champion at what she does. I wish I knew how perfect she would make everything, I wouldn't have stressed out so much before hand. So to all brides wondering if Ruffled Feathers is right for them, YES, yes it is! It was BEAUTIFUL, the chandeliers were gorgeous in the pictures. The grounds were spectacularly taken care of & look like a magical place in our pictures. The food was VERY good! Not one complaint from anyone! I am beyond thrilled with how wonderful everything turned out. My expectations were met and then some! I will forever recommend Ruffled Feather to others for any event.

We recently had our daughter's wedding dinner party at Ruffled Feathers. The staff was wonderful to work with. Kathy was kind and took extra steps to make sure everything was perfect for my daughter and her husband. The outside and inside was decorated beautifully. The food was unbelievable. 6 days later, people are still raving about how good the food was, especially the soup. (Not your typical wedding food.) Everything was elegant and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend any party here - very easy to work with, very accommodating, great bartenders, servers and elegant atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable evening.

Dear Kathy and Colleen,

My husband and I want to express our sincere thanks to both of you for the work you did for our daughter’s wonderful wedding reception on September 16th. Every detail was in place and executed as planned.

The ballroom was breathtakingly beautiful! It truly took my breath away when we first arrived and saw the room decorated. The sunlight lit up the room….and it was stunning! The tables were gorgeous with the Chivari chairs and gold chargers!

Holding the cocktail hour in the bar & grill was perfect….and our guests were able to enjoy their appetizers and drinks outside on the deck overlooking the golf course on a beautiful evening.

Beginning with cocktails and appetizers and moving on to the dinner, the wedding cake, the sweet table and the late night pizza….all of it was FANTASTIC! The food was delicious. We continue to receive compliments from our guests. And your servers were terrific.

Colleen – I appreciate all that you did to manage the numerous details for our reception. Thank you for your prompt replies to my many questions and e-mails the past year. A huge thank you for staying on top of everything to insure that we had a fabulous evening which went smoothly! Your staff did a terrific job...and our party was a success!

We got married last July at Ruffled Feathers. Kathy was extremely patient and accommodating. She is such a down to earth and personable lady. We recently got married here on 5.28.17. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we walked in. Kathy was our first point of contact. She was very friendly and had so many ideas/pointers for us that we felt very comfortable there. Their package had so many details already included that it made our 5 months of planning super easy. Colleen then became our second contact to set up the tasting and answer any little question as the planning went on. She was very prompt and professional throughout the process. They were super accommodating with everything and made it very easy. On the actual day; Daniel and Julie were amazing!! We had a little hiccup but they pulled through and all the staff helped us out avoid a small disaster :). Everyone was asked multiple times if they needed anything, which helped our grandparents continue drinking since they didn't have to get up from their table. The day flew by, but if I had to do it over, I would not hesitate to do everything the same way. If you are looking for a quick engagement without having to worry too much about certain details; definitely give RFCC a try!!!

A magical and outstanding evening for my daughter's Quinceanera celebration. Kathy Pauley is attentive, and made many helpful suggestions and recommendations that made planning the event smooth and flawless. Many thanks to Colleen, Daniel and Sean for their attention to detail, and their professional manner. This event had many moving parts, and the Ruffled Feather's staff were exceptionally helpful and conscientious in creating a memorable evening. My husband and I visited a few venues before we went to Ruffled Feathers, and once we walked in, I had a feeling we had found the place. We met with Kathy Pauley and knew after our first conversation that we would be well taken care of and have a wonderful wedding. Boy, were we right! Kathy was wonderful to work with; very flexible, very easy to get in touch with, and she truly cares about making sure your wedding is the best day ever. When we arrived for the reception, the room and decorations were setup exactly like we wanted, and they even added their own touches to our decor that added to the overall effect. The staff was professional and provided great service all night long. The food was AMAZING! We had several guests tell us it was the best meal they ever had at a wedding. It was an incredible night, and I highly recommend Ruffled Feathers!

One of my daughter's requests was that her bridal shower be brunch. After looking at several other venues, I am glad to say we chose Ruffled Feathers. They had the best variety of food on their brunch menu and the mimosa bar was something I did not find at other venues. From beginning to end Kathy and her staff were great. I didn't even get to meet Kathy until a week before our event, but she was always quick to respond to emails and voice mails.

At the beginning of the shower, the shift managers met with us and were very accommodating when we had a couple last minute requests. The food was hot and the staff kept everything filled as long as people were still eating. The chefs were great at preparing the made to order omelette station, and the staff kept the mimosa bar flowing which all the guests loved.

Words cannot express how truly grateful I am of Kathy Pauley and the entire staff at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club. When planning my wedding (3.19.16), I had what kind of wedding I wanted or what my dream wedding was. When I walked into the reception at Ruffled Feathers, I was in tears...it was my absolute dream wedding. Kathy is perfect. She is a true professional. She went above and beyond to ensure there was ZERO stress on the day or even the week of the wedding, it was the best experience, I can't imagine doing it any other way. The venue itself is newly renovated and gorgeous. The food was delicious, I received multiple comments from guests about how good it was. Like, I can go on and on, but I have zero complaints. From the moment we toured, to the tasting, to decision making, to the week of, Kathy ensured everything went exactly how it should be. It was like she was in my head, knew exactly what I wanted, and made it happen without me even having to say a word. I am eternally grateful to Kathy and everyone at ruffled feathers for a truly perfect wedding. LOVE LOVE LOVE her.

I just had my wedding held here Aug 20, 2016! We dont even know how to put into words what a memorable night Kathy Pauley made for us. She truly went above and beyond and made the night exceptional and flawless! We will never doubt her, 100% trusted. Daniel was great always checking in on us ALL night to make sure all is going well, all the servers were so sweet and had a smile on their faces ALL night.. perfect!! Everything looked so beautiful and all our guests still can't stop talking about it! We were so busy we didnt even get a chance to eat some of the yummy appitizers lol but again people couldnt stop talking about Ruffled appetizers/dinner and the polish house hahaha... and of course they were all so impressed with the tray of shots all night... one word we and many people described our big day was PERFECT!! Thank you again, we truly appreciate you working with us and making our wedding the BEST day EVER!!!!

My son had his wedding at Ruffled Feathers this past Saturday, August 13, 2016. I could not have been happier with this Venue and Kathy Pauley and Daniel. Kathy did an amazing job of keeping me calm during the whole process of helping the Bride & Groom plan their special day. I am a very organized person who likes things a certain way and Kathy had no issues accommodating all my needs. The Bride fell in love with the Ballroom the moment she say it. We had seen 10 Venues and when the Bride saw this one she was sold.
There has been a lot of renovations made over the last year and if you haven't been there in awhile and are looking for the perfect place for your wedding please go see Kathy Pauley.
Daniel did an amazing job of keeping us updated throughout the evening and was always asking if everything was ok and if we needed anything. I couldn't ask for a better Manager on staff that night.
Bartender Mike was amazing according to our guest at knowing exactly what you ordered before and was right there with your drink.
Great day all around for the Bride & Groom and their guest at Ruffled Feathers.

My wedding day was absolutely perfect and the staff at Ruffled Feathers helped to make sure that it was. The ceremony outside at the gazebo was beautiful and the room looked gorgeous. The food was the best wedding food that I've ever had and many of our guests said the same thing. I could not have asked for a better wedding or a better venue.

We had our ceremony & reception at Ruffled Feathers and it was beautiful! The banquet managers and servers are so professional and accommodating and we didn't have to worry about a thing on our big day! The new renovations took place right before our wedding and the venue looked absolutely gorgeous! They gave us golf carts to take around the course for pictures and if you haven't seen the course, I recommend you do and you'll immediately want to start planning your wedding here! Highly recommended for the couple that wants an indoor/outdoor wedding and a stress free day!

My daughters wedding was 3/19/16. From the first time we went to visit the venue.. Kathy Pauley was so accommodating and professional. She was always available when ever we had any questions or was completely available for all the times we wanted to come in and go over details. She never rushed us an had such great ideas and helped us figure out so many of the little things that can drive you crazy when planning a wedding. The facility has just had a beautiful makeover!! It is immaculate and decorated so beautiful...not to mention the beautiful views of the golf course are spectacular. Also, when you book your wedding..you are the only guest at the venue..which is such a huge plus. We had been to several venues before selecting RF and everything was a la carte..with hidden cost..not here. They offer several packages with are inclusive with centerpiece flowers, sweet table, wedding cake, home made late night pizza (or other options), champagne toast with a very cool champagne parade from the staff, coat check, top shelf liquor. We chose the optional cocktail hour which the appetizers were hot delicious and plentiful. Kathy was there to make sure everything was set up according to the plan at the wedding. The food at the reception (which we chose filet, rosemary chicken, and salmon) prepared to perfection. Chef Brad went off the usual menu to give us fresh and different options. He will prepare anything including delicious banana pudding to go with our wedding cake for dessert!! Our guest were calling and texting me for a days raving over the food. Also, the soup was hot, the bread was warm and fresh. The sweet table and wedding cake is from an off site vendor "Domino's" in Chicago...absolutely delicious..cake was moist and fresh and beautiful..sweet table was beyond delicious including the Italian canolis and chocolate dipped fruit(and plenty of it-we sent several families home with sweets)! Booking at RF was the greatest choice and I am so happy we did!!

I got married this past January and could not be more happy with choosing Ruffled Feathers as our venue. When first looking at the venue, Kathy was more than helpful when answering our questions and very accommodating for our wants and needs. She was prompt with replying to emails and phone calls I had throughout the wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, everything went more smoothly than I could imagine. The staff was wonderful and had everything set up perfectly ahead of time. I received many compliments from guests on how attentive the waiting staff and bartenders were throughout the night. We also received many compliments on how wonderful the food was. I couldn't' have asked for a more perfect reception and can't thank Kathy and all of the staff at Ruffled Feathers for making it possible. I highly recommend this venue for any occasion!!!

My wedding day was absolutely perfect. I don’t know where to start… Ruffled Feather Golf Club was the perfect place for me to have the wedding I had in mind; simple, elegant, and during the day. My wedding was from 12pm-4pm and the light in the room was phenomenal (thanks to all the windows). Kathy helped tremendously on making my dream come true! She was extremely flexible and always gave me the best advice according to my budget. She took care of organizing the room and put up all the decorations for me. She is an amazing wedding planner and I’m so thankful to have had her as mine! She always seemed calm and collected, which definitely made me less stressed about the big day. My husband and I loved the flavorful food Ruffled Feathers had to offer and so did all my guests! The plates were beautifully presented! The servers at my wedding were so sweet and always attentive to helping my guests. They took care of cutting the cake and passing it out. The venue itself is very clean and neat with a great atmosphere. Though there were golfers in the same building, they were completely separated from the wedding reception room. Thinking about my wedding brings me great joy and happiness! It was truly perfect in every aspect. My family and friends loved it and some even say it was the best wedding they’ve been to. I would strongly recommend this venue

( 2 of 2)The venue helped accommodate all of my vendors as well. I have already recommended this venue to others, and I will continue to do so. The food was delicious, the liquor which they offer is good liquor and that is without the buy up option. Kathy helped us match the napkin colors and the ribbon color's on the chairs to my color scheme. Ruffed Feathers also host other events such as showers in one of their other rooms, hopefully I will get the chance to have another one of my events there and or attend another wedding here. Thank you everyone at Ruffled Feathers especially you Kathy for making our wedding day an absolutely wonderful day for us with nothing to worry about.

Outstanding! Everyone is STILL raving about my daughter's wedding at Ruffled Feathers. Kathy Pauley was wonderful to work with. Can I just say, the staff on the day of the wedding was the most amazing I've ever encountered at a banquet facility of any kind? Riley, John, Kyle...just a few of the names I can recall. Bravo!!! The little touches did not go unnoticed, either, from the champagne in the bridal room to the small plate of appetizers saved for the Bride & Groom that they would've missed while they were taking pictures outside on the gorgeous grounds. Our wedding was the first with the newly painted and roofed exterior--it looks amazing! The blue exterior color is gone. Back to the venue: we opted for the higher priced package, and we REALLY got our money's worth! The hand passed hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour were fantastic. One of my guests told me it was the best wedding he had ever been to in his life, and it was only cocktail hour! The staff set up our room with perfect precision, even though I had a long list of requirements, and they cleaned it all up quickly and with care. The bartenders kept things moving; everyone had a drink in their hand when they needed. But, let's talk about the food: Incredible! We went with the steak and house specialty chicken dijon (guest choice). The soup was hot and perfect, the salad was served on chilled plates (bet you thought nobody would notice!) and the food was presented so lovely with an orchid on each plate. The twice baked potatoes were hot, soft, and not dry while the asparagus was tender. The steaks were perfect!! Our maid-of-honor is a professional chef, and she raved over how perfectly cooked every steak she saw was prepared. The sweet table exceeded our expectations, too. I cannot express enough how thrilled we were with our event. The Bride & Groom could not stop smiling, making me a happy Mom of the Bride! Our pickiest friends & relatives keep telling us we "Nailed It!" Thank you, Kathy & Staff!!!!

Kathy Pauley and the entire staff at Ruffled Feather Golf Club went above and beyond to make our day perfect! We had both the ceremony and the reception there and they both went really well and the transition between the two was seamless. They were very quick with communication and more than wiling to help in any way that they could! Anything we wanted, they made it happen. The venue is gorgeous! We got married on 8/8/15, so the golf course was in all of it's green glory! The backdrop of the golf course while inside the venue was beautiful! We had reserved the entire place and it was so nice because then the entire bridal party was able to get ready at the venue. It was so convenient! I love that everyone at Ruffled Feathers was so accommodating! I really felt like I, as well as my husband and the entire bridal party, were their main priority! The food was delicious, the champagne parade was fun, and the night flowed so perfectly! We couldn't have been happier to have chosen Ruffled Feathers to host both our wedding and reception! Ruffled Feathers, Kathy Pauley, and the Staff were fantastic and we highly recommend them for weddings and any other events!! :-)

do not know even where to start with this....
All I know is that my wedding day was complete with my reception and the staff I got to work with. Kathy Pauley was my wedding coordinator who was available whenever I needed, was able to answer any questions, and was willing to work with my on specific requests that I had for my reception. Through the planning, she was able to offer advice, but also give me space to make decisions - SHE WAS THE BEST!
The day of the wedding I also worked with Daniel who was a gem! He came up to me several times throughout the night asking me how I was doing and if I needed anything! He was very attentive and really made me feel like a princess!
AND THE STAFF! What a great team! I was never without a drink in my hand! They held my food in a warmer while I mingled, and they stayed late after the wedding to clean up (which I was very grateful for)

What I loved most about Ruffled Feathers is they made me feel that I was the most important bride, with the most important wedding of the year which made my day that much more magical!

We also took our pictures on the grounds at Ruffled Feathers which were beautiful. There was not a bad shot! It was nice because we didn't have to travel anywhere! Luckily we were able to get some great shots right by the building.

I wish I could do it all over again just to re-live the experience. We had a lot of out of town guests who are still talking about the views and how beautiful the reception was.

Thank you to Kathy Pauly, Daniel, and the staff at Ruffled Feathers for making my day beautiful, special, and wonderful.

We were married on 6/13/2015 at Ruffled Feathers in Lemont. From the initial meeting with Kathy more than a year in advance, she was attentive to all our requests and was always available. She really helped plan the evening we always wanted. Daniel and the rest of the staff made our night a breeze. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. Best wedding venue ever! I cannot even begin to express my gratitude and love for this venue! From beginning to end this venue was so accommodating to any type of wedding style you could want. Kathy Pauly is a saint!!! I emailed her back and forth too many times to count asking questions for our 1 & 1/2 year engagement and she was always very helpful! I am so happy I got to work with such an amazing coordinator at RF! The staff the night of the reception was the best! Daniel and the rest of the staff were so amazing and always made sure everything. Was going well for my Husband and I as well as the rest of our guests. They came to find me on golf carts just to ask a question about table arrangement! This venue is not only gorgeous to host a truly special classy event, but the staff helps to make it the best night of your life! They truly care that everything goes perfect! Ruffled Feathers was the perfect place for our daughter's wedding. Kathy, the Director of Special Events at Ruffled Feathers, was absolutely wonderful. From beginning suggestions to last minute changes, she was flexible, caring, enthusiastic and incredibly helpful.
The ceremony was outside, by the gazebo and the setting was gorgeous!
Everything that we requested was done correctly and efficiently.
All staff was pleasant and accommodating.
The reception was everything we had hoped it would be. Food was delicious. bar service was quick-never more then a few people waiting for a drink-the room itself was beautiful. Dinner was served in a timely manner, allowing plenty of time for dancing and other festivities.
Kathy was on hand for the ceremony-and was a great source of dependability to my daughter, and to my husband and myself as well, on a day filled with chaos.
The overall cost of everything that was provided was an excellent value. I would highly recommend Ruffled Feathers to anyone who is looking for a wonderful wedding experience.
I have been trying to think of something negative to say, just in terms of constructive criticism, but truly, there was nothing remotely negative about our experience. Thank you, Ruffled Feathers, and Kathy Pauley!!

When we got to Ruffled Feathers I was just in awe of how beautiful it all was and how the staff at Ruffled Feathers truly created my vision just as I had imagined it! The staff was outstanding and everything was absolutely perfect and went so smoothly. The venue was perfect for our big day! Kathy was great to work with and always returned calls ASAP which was nice. The ballroom looked better than I could have asked for the day of our wedding. We chose the Dijon chicken and everyone loved the food! Definitely a great place for a wedding.

The day I walked into Ruffled Feathers, that's where I knew I was going to have my wedding. Kathy was great and implemented every detail for our wedding day. The room is gorgeous, overlooking the golf course and our pictures are outstanding. The staff was fabulous, and the champagne parade made for a really fun start to the night. My family and friends are still talking about our wedding, and we are so grateful to Ruffled Feathers for making our day so memorable!

We had our wedding reception at Ruffled Feathers on March 15, 2014. We searched everywhere for a wedding venue and Ruffled Feathers was by far our favorite. Kathy and her team were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. Kathy met with us many times and was prompt with returning emails and phone calls. She was very personable and extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. Our reception was absolutely beautiful and everything ran smoothly. The staff was great and our food was amazing. Ruffled Feathers was the perfect setting for our wedding. The ballroom is breathtaking with lots of windows overlooking a very well-kept golf course. The gazebo was absolutely stunning for our ceremony site - full vegetation, just beautiful! Kathy went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and stress free for our big day. She is completely hands on and is very detail-oriented. I had no doubt Kathy would make things perfect. Kathy's staff is friendly and incredibly helpful - they all understand what the little things mean to the bride and groom on their big day. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend Ruffled Feathers to anyone looking to plan a wedding.

On June 1, 2013 my husband and I hosted a luncheon and reception for our daughter's wedding at Ruffled Feathers. Every aspect of both events was perfection. We met with Kathy Pauly who was amazing. I knew exactly what I wanted in both of these events and she worked tirelessly to ensure that all our requests were met and exceeded.

We were looking for a place that our out of town guests could go between the church wedding and the reception, and Ruffled Feathers had just the place, the Terrace Room. The luncheon menu was custom, and Kathy made wonderful suggestions as to the menu items and decorations. The room was just what we were looking for and the food was wonderful.

In the evening, we hosted a reception in the Grand Ballroom. The room was beautiful and elegant. Kathy allowed us to bring in our custom centerpieces the day before so we would not be worried about anything the day of our event. I gave Kathy and her staff a map of where each one was to go, and they executed it flawlessly. The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Hors d' oeuvres, cheese and fruit were a great start to our evening. The Champagne Parade was so much fun. Our menu consisted of Cream of Chicken Rice Soup, Mediterranean Salad, the entree was a Trio of Filet Mignon (upgraded portion size), Grilled Shrimp, Garlic Herb Chicken Breast, twice baked potatoes, and grilled asparagas. The presentation, quality and quantity was amazing. The food was served hot and cooked to perfection. Dessert was ice cream and wedding cake, followed by a beautiful sweet table.

We received so many compliments from our guests including how classy and elegant Ruffled Feathers was, how absolutly amazing the food and service were, how much fun they had, and many guests even told us this was the "best" wedding they had ever been to. Needless to say we were extremly pleased with Ruffled Feathers who made this day nothing less than SPECTACULAR!

We had our wedding reception at Ruffled Feathers in August 2013 and could not be happier!

First and foremost, Kathy is amazing. She bends over backwards to ensure your day is perfect and the way you want it. She also is available via phone/email/ or in person with any questions you have during your wedding planning months. Her team is amazing as well. They did the entire set-up for us, allowing my mom, sister, and I to sit at home the morning of the wedding and not have to rush to put DIY centerpieces together at the hall. We were so thankful for this aspect. On my wedding night, everyone was so nice and so personable! Tristan and Theresa were so accommodating, fun, and really made our night great! Tristan even put up with my bridal party!

The hall itself is beautiful and elegant. We had AMAZING photos especially in the gazebo at night! The ballroom overlooks the golf course and has a beautiful patio to walk out onto. The bar and carpets were just redone this spring and look beautiful! The bridal room is spacious and has a private bath. The banquet packages are super accommodating, providing options in different price ranges. The packages provide so many perks to help make your wedding great! When I walked into the hall on my wedding day I was taken aback by how perfect everything looked. They set up the tables just the way I asked! The coral organza chair ties Kathy recommended matched our colors perfectly and added such a great burst of color to the room.

The butler passed hor d'oeuvres and the cheese display was delicious and impressive. There was more than enough for everyone! The champagne parade was so exciting and my guests loved it! The food was AMAZING! We had roasted garlic sundried tomato soup, the mimosa salad, almond chicken, cozumel blend (veggies), and red roasted herb potatoes. The almond chicken they served was HUGE and cooked to perfection! The cake from Dominos was fabulous! It turned out perfectly!

Everything about our wedding at Ruffled Feathers was perfect. The staff was very helpful and greeted everyone with a smile and a willingness to help. The food was incredible and the overall venue was amazing. Everyone raved about how beautiful the place was and how much fun they had. I had a different event...I had a retirement party with a casino theme for 100 guests in the ballroom. I requested heavy hors douvres and a premium bar. I aslo had a carving station with the best prime rib anyone had ever tasted.
My party was a huge success. Kathy was amazing and made every detail I wanted spectacular. I requested many different things such as an ice cream bar, and the room set up for casino gaming. I was also VERY picky on the food. Kathy made everything work. Dan the head server was always at my right hand asking if I needed anything. He walked around serving food and made sure everything ran smoothly.
The servers and bartender were polite and friendly. The room gorgeous!

The food, service and decor were everything I could have hoped for! I have heard nothing but raves from the guests.

My husband and I got married here on 9/29/12 and could not have been happier with the outcome. Kathy and her staff were attentive, professional, and extremely helpful. My husband and I were married at Ruffled Feathers on July 22, 2011. We had our ceremony and reception there and we could not have been happier with our choice. Toby and Jackie took fantastic care of us and our guests. The package was well worth the price, a very good value and a beautiful venue! We would highly recommend this location! We also had our Bridal Shower and rehearsal dinner at Ruffled Feathers. We were extremely happy with all of our events there :)

Ruffled Feathers was a great venue and everyone was more than accommodating. Toby, the wedding coordinator and the rest of the staff truly went above and beyond any request or need that we asked for. The venue and grounds were beautiful and it was nice to have your own space throughout the entire place. You do not even need a wedding planner for your event if you have it here because the staff will more than make up for it! What a great feeling to know that everyone is looking out for you and your wedding party and they truly made us feel at home.

Our daughter's ceremony and reception were held at Ruffled Feathers. There was not one area that I can complain about. EVERYTHING was exceptional. The beauty of the gazebo and course made for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The decor of the ballroom was elegant, and the food and service exceptional. Toby Niccum does a fantastic job both before and during the event in managing his staff to execute flawlessly. Toby answered all our questions, accommodated our requests to the finest details, made suggestions that were helpful. His staff never grumbled but always greeted us with a smile and can-do attitude. Our guests marveled at the food both in presentation, QUALITY, and quantity. No-one went home hungry or disappointed. The words we kept hearing from our guests were: "classy, elegant for the venue and for the entire day itself, and "fantastic" for the food and service. Toby has excellent servers and also had more than enough. Our 150 guests were served in five minutes. They were continuously coming around with the wine service, an asking if anything else was needed. The cake supplied by Ruffled Feathers via Dominoes Bakery was fresh and not too sweet, and received nothing but raves.

I am a Certified Meetings Professional (CMP) by profession, planning nonprofit galas and events from 10 to 1,000, and have experienced the best and the worst. I can say from professional experience that Toby, his staff, and Ruffled Feathers are one of the absolute best in the business. As mother-of-the-bride, Thanks for making our daughter's wedding a positively memorable and affordable occasion.

We are very pleased with our experience at Ruffled Feathers for our wedding reception. After attending a friend's wedding at RF, we thought it would be a great place to look into. RF includes many different things in their packages (chair covers, cake, appetizers, etc). It was nice that they were not additional. The staff was friendly and professional throughout the evening. The food was delicious, and everyone had a wonderful time!

I had my wedding reception here on Christmas day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Toby was accommodating in every way possible, especially considering we just booked two months before the event. We are so happy we chose Ruffled Feathers for our reception venue! The room is beautiful, and an added bonus is that there is only one ballroom - so only one wedding at a time. The food was delicious, we got so many compliments on it! Toby was very responsive and helpful through our planning process; I probably emailed him with thousands of random questions leading up to the day. Words cannot say how much Toby and all the hard workers at Ruffled Feathers made our day so special and perfect. From the food, to the servers, to the place itself. I recommend this place 110% I have never met people like Toby who took there time to make our day special and memorable for all the right reasons. I cant say one bad thing about this place and this is coming from a bride who had no clue on what I wanted. I never attended a wedding here and my now husband Bryan was the one who picked this place to check out and compare with other reception venues. I am glad he did. My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Ruffled Feathers, and we could not have dreamed of a better experience. Toby - the events director - was incredibly helpful from the day we met him and throughout the year-long planning process. The venue itself is beautiful; the golf course is clearly visible through huge picture windows in the banquet hall, and it provided a lovely backdrop for the event (and for pictures!). The service from the wait staff was above and beyond -- very friendly and accommodating. The space and the equipment is extremely clean, modern, and up-to-date. No scuff marks, chipped paint or flimsy chairs here! And, once again, I can't say enough about Toby. He made the wedding and reception run perfectly smoothly, and we trusted him completely to oversee the event. If I could add a sixth star to this review, I would - I cannot recommend Ruffled Feathers highly enough, as a wedding venue.

I just had my wedding and reception at Ruffled Feathers on June 19, 2010. It was perfect from beginning to end. Toby is amazing to work with. He gave us such incredible service, was so flexible and made sure everyone was taken care of that day. The grounds are beautiful and my pictures turned out amazing. It was a warm day for the outdoor ceremony and Toby made sure there were cold bottles of water for all our guests. He brought drinks down for the bridal party during picture taking. He was terrific. The room is very pretty with a lot of windows overlooking their pretty grounds, with very neutral decor that allows for you to put your touches on it. The entire staff was so friendly and provided terrific service. The food was delicious and plentiful. Bartenders were quick, polite and kept the drinks flowing. I felt we got so much more for the money here than anywhere else we looked. There wasn't a thing I would change. After my experience I couldn't imagine having a wedding anywhere else.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Ruffled Feathers. From the first day we met with Toby to the day of our wedding we knew we were in great hands. We initially were drawn to the venue because not only is the ballroom gorgeous, but we loved the fact that only one wedding takes place there per evening.

The staff was beyond accommodating to my husband and me and all of our guests the evening of the wedding. We decided in advance that we wanted to have dancing in between courses, and while we were worried that it may be difficult to properly time each course being served with the end of the music set, everything flowed better than we ever could have expected. We couldn’t be more pleased with Ruffled Feathers and would highly recommend it!

Ruffled Feathers was amazing!! Everything from the venue, to the staff, to the service we received was the best experience. The site was perfect for us.

We wanted something with an outdoor feel, and this venue was perfect. All of the benefits of being indoors with the feeling of being outdoors. Large windows align two of the walls, there is an outdoor patio for our guests to cocktail on, but if they got warm they could go inside to the air conditioning and a gazebo and grounds that was great for pictures.

Making the arrangements was actually a pleasure. Toby was absolutely amazing through the whole process. He walked us through selecting the menu, and I knew everything we discussed I didn't have to worry about! He went the extra mile in addressing all of my concerns so I could have a worry free wedding.

The day of my event went flawlessly! The food and service was amazing and I'm still getting compliments to this day!

Toby and the entire staff at Ruffled Feathers were exceptional. Toby always returned my calls within 24 hours and catered to our every need. Kathy was great to work with while planning our wedding. She was able to accommodate all of our requests and make our wedding reception an unforgettable evening. We had our cocktail hour in the bar area and it looked beautiful! She gave us some advice for our photos before the reception around the golf course. Our large bridal party was accommodated for in the basement, where they had champagne waiting when we arrived. I dropped off all of the escort cards, table decorations, etc. about a week before with directions and she made sure that everything was placed perfectly. Our only complaint was that it was a little warm during the reception because the doors had been opened earlier in the day for a golf outing. She tried to fix it immediately when brought up. Amazing views and a large space.

We held our wedding and reception at Ruffled Feathers this past January. We had an absolutely amazing experience with the venue, the staff and Kathy. We had a very specific vision for how we wanted our wedding to look and Kathy worked with us every step of the way. She ordered multiple different fabrics, a few different times until she found exactly what we wanted for the tables. We made a few other custom requests and Kathy and the staff were happy to assist us. When we talked to a lot of our friends that have been recently married, they were surprised to hear how flexible Ruffled Feathers was in accommodating our requests.
Kathy allowed us to drop off everything a few days before the wedding with a list of instructions. When we showed up the day of the wedding, everything looked perfect. There was no set-up or work needed by our families, which was a relief. After the wedding, they packed up everything and held it so that we could come back after the wedding, which again, was super helpful.
The pricing was also very competitive with other places in the area. We were very impressed with the value we received for the budget that we had. It's also one of the few places in the south suburbs that can accommodate 200+ people.
We can't say enough good things about the venue, the staff and Kathy. We had a stress free wedding, exactly how we envisioned it, and you can't ask for more than that. We would highly recommend that you check out this place!

We used Ruffled Feathers for our March 9th wedding and could not be happier.

I’ll begin by saying that the value of the package was amazing! We needed to keep to a tight budget and were able to have a beautiful wedding at a fair price.

The room was spectacular. The room is basically wall to wall windows which overlook the golf course. In addition, they had just had the bar remodeled with stacked stone and a deep rich wood before our wedding. It was beautiful! Also, they just had the carpet re-done to a very neutral color that will complement almost any wedding color. In addition, the chandeliers add a great touch to the beauty of the room. And, we had our own bridal suite with a bathroom which was also a great touch.

The food was AMAZING! We had the Italian Wedding soup, Mimosa salad, Dijon Chicken with Green Beans & the Twice Baked Potato. We also had our cake arranged through a local bakery which was part of the RF package. The bartender service seemed to be fairly quick the entire night as well which we appreciated.

The service was impeccable. Every server was quick, professional, and courteous. There was never an issue with not having enough servers to guests. Also, the servers did a fantastic job setting up all of our reception décor to a tee. We had a lot of things that we wanted in a particular place and they made sure that everything was perfect.

Finally, our coordinator, Kathy Pauley, was great. Originally, we signed our contract with Toby who was the coordinator before Kathy. Kathy did a great job. There were a couple of times that we lost touch in communication. However, this woman is a wonder! She has a lot on her plate and never fails to do a great job. She made sure that everything at our reception was wonderful.

We highly recommend Ruffled Feathers to any bride and groom. Our wedding was so memorable and I know a big part of it is due to the fact that we had an amazing hall with a great coordinator and impeccable service.

Where do I begin writing this review??!! Toby and his staff were amazing and fun to work with. My husband and I knew this was the place as soon as we left our first meeting with Toby and viewing the venue. The main thing we liked was that only one wedding is held here a night. You don't have to worry about strangers stealing your gifts or drinking your booze, etc.
Toby was very negotiable and flexible when it came to choosing a package. The tasting was amazing! They served full chicken, steak, soup, cake, etc. They brought in ColdStone as an option for dessert. The cake company they use is a family owned Italian bakery that has been in business for 50+ years. They were amazing too. The prices were comparable and competitive to other vendors. In fact, I would be willing to bet that they would beat prices of other venues. The room was beautiful. Tall ceilings and a large bar with bartenders who remembered the guests' drinks and would have a drink waiting as they walked up to the bar.
All of the staff was very friendly. I accidentally booked 20 people at one table and Jessica (I think was her name) very quickly fixed the problem without any of my guests noticing.
Long story short, choose Ruffled Feathers if you want a luxurious venue for your wedding. You and your guests will be pleased with your choice!

Awesome staff, pretty venue

Kathy worked with us to give us the special day we wanted. All of the staff was great. The ballroom is beautiful, and the bar and grill is great for cocktail hour. We got married in winter, so we used half of the ballroom as our ceremony space. It did not feel crowded, and with all the windows was a great background. The appetizers are delicious! I want more of them now. The entrees are typical wedding food.

A Dream Wedding!

We had a wonderful experience working with Lexi and the Ruffled Feathers staff in planning our wedding day. They were very flexible, professional and easy to work with. Ruffled Feathers is a beautiful venue, and was our number one choice for both our ceremony and reception. We heard nothing but wonderful compliments from our wedding guests on how pretty the venue was, how beautiful the room was decorated, and the quality of the food and service. I had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club last month, and I’m so happy with how my big day turned out! My guests had a great time and continue to tell me how nice the entire evening/night was. The ceremony space and ballroom were absolutely beautiful. All my guests complimented how good the food was too. Plus, with the beautiful weather, the grounds were just breathtaking. Colleen, the Events Coordinator, was very helpful to me and my husband throughout the wedding planning process. She helped with answering all of our questions, and I know I had many :-) especially since I was an out-of-town bride. She was so patient, kind and an absolute pleasure to work with. Kathy, was also helpful throughout the planning process. Kathy and Colleen make an excellent team, and were accommodating with meeting me when I was in town to ensure all my wedding plans were in order. Furthermore, Sean, the banquet manager, did a wonderful job at ensuring the food was perfect and the service was superb. I loved having my wedding here!
The staff was beyond friendly and professional. The wedding coordinator is so nice! I rudely showed up to her office without an appointment MULTIPLE times and she politely dealt with me. Now, I do not recommend sowing up like that, but if you must, know that she is great!
We got married on fathers' day (Sunday) and got a great deal. I felt bad that so many people had to work on that day, but it was the only way we could've afforded our wedding there.
They gave us a great deal overall. We wanted to have tacos and mini burgers and they were delicious!
The only "downside" is that the chicken tacos were spicy, which I loved!, but they were not labeled as such. As a result we had a couple of children crying from spiciness! And the mini burgers were white castle! (Which I also love, but my husband doesn't.. )

Granted, we never had a tasting of what they would serve, so if you do decide to go with them, make sure you try the food before hand! It was delicious the day of, but we just didn't know exactly what we were getting :)

Our daughter had her wedding at Ruffled Feathers this past Saturday May 16th. It was the perfect venue for them. The room is beautiful, the bar is impressive and we couldn't of been happier with our choice. Kathy the coordinator was exceptional and got all our details just right. The staff was wonderful, professional and efficient. The food was very good, served hot and presented very nicely. The champagne parade of course was a hit with the crowd. We were very pleased start to finish.

When entering the room that night, we were amazed how everything came together. Thank you to all at Ruffled Feathers, it was the wedding of our daughter's dreams!

I really loved Ruffled Feathers venue for our wedding. We held both our ceremony and reception here. I looked at a dozen other venues and while some were nice, they just didn't have the upscale, downtown feel that I wanted. When we stopped at Ruffled Feathers, I knew immediately that was where I wanted to book. The room was modern looking - with a relatively new, great looking bar. The color scheme in the room was not overwhelming with white walls and dark carpet so my color would pop. They had unique oval shaped tables and nice banquet chairs - which may sound silly to notice, but it was nice to know that I didn't need to order chair covers or chiavari chairs if I didn't want to. There were lots of windows and great scenery looking out over the golf course - important for a Fall wedding. The ceremony gazebo is set in the middle of trees just outside the clubhouse - looked very picturesque. Then we met Kathy. She was so incredibly friendly. I felt like I had known her for years! I knew I had found our wedding venue. The only issue I had was that sometimes it was difficult to get a timely response from Kathy and her staff. But generally, when we did meet or talk or email, all my concerns were resolved. On the day of the wedding, they were a little slow to set up some of the details that we had agreed too, but once they got everything in order, the rest of the day went off without a hitch. The staff at Ruffled Feathers is awesome and were there for whatever we needed. It was an amazing day and the setting made it just perfect. After receiving our pictures back, I couldn't be more thrilled - the gazebo and golf course setting just made our pictures all the more beautiful. To top it all off, I thought the prices were very reasonable and they offered several packages to fit any budget. In addition, they are flexible with add ons and special requests. I highly recommend Ruffled Feathers!

Everyone at RF was beyond amazing on our wedding day. We had to call the outside ceremony due to rain and bring in inside and all the staff helped out to make sure we made it a beautiful inside ceremony! I was able to closely work with both Kathy and Daniel. They both went above and beyond throughout the entire process to make sure we were always satisfied. I know Daniel worked closely with my florist the day of the event and dealing with all the changes to bring the ceremony indoors and was extremely helpful and made sure we were completely happy. We were able to create the exact wedding package we wanted to include all the items we did and didn't want while staying within our budget!

After 30 years of marriage my parents decided to renew their vows. Mom knew exactly what she wanted but wasn't sure she would see it all come true until we walked into Ruffled Feathers. From day 1 the staff at was amazingly attentive and accomidating. Kathy worked with us every step of the way. When she was physically unavailable to us, Daniel filled her shoes without missing a beat. He was wonderful before, during and after our event.
The reaffirmation ceremony was held in the ballroom. We weren't sure how it would look with half the room set for dinner and the other set in 2 aisles for the bridal party to walk through. However, it was a worry we didn't need to have, the staff set up the entire ballroom flawlessly. Nothing looked out of place and it flowed nicely. There was another staff member who stood out, a young lady named Letty. She went out of her way to set up the candy & sweets tables, even offering to go into work earlier. We did have to remind the wait staff to serve the DJ, I would assume that normally DJ's aren't a part of dinner. However our DJ was a friend of the family so we included him. Our guests were all impressed by the venue visually as well as by the staff. We would definitely recommend this venue without hesitation!

We had our wedding at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club (ceremony and reception), and we were so happy with our decision to have it here! Kathy was great to work with; she was flexible, offered great suggestions, and helped with every little detail or question we had. The food was amazing, and the room we were in for our ceremony/reception was beautiful.

Overall, we were so pleased with Ruffled Feathers and so happy that we chose them as our venue! We loved it as soon as we saw it, and they actually just renovated their space and it looks even better than it did before. We had the ceremony and reception there, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We had free reign of the whole place which was very nice to have, since some people wanted to have a drink at the bar before the ceremony, and some just wanted to be outside. One very memorable moment from the night was when I was upstairs just after the ceremony bustling my dress and taking my veil out, and a waitress came up with a plate of appetizers just for us - if it wasn't for her I would not have gotten any of them(we also got so many compliments on how good the food was)! It was the small things that the staff did that made the night so fun and easy for us to not stress. We worked with Kathy who was great, at times it was hard to get an email response but it was understandable since she runs all events there and is very busy. She was very understanding and gave us advice on what she thought was best, since this was our first family wedding. Everything there turned out better than we could have imagined and I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a fresh, open, beautiful golf course venue for a very reasonable price!

My daughter had her wedding reception at Ruffled Feathers and it was just beautiful....even with all the rain that day.
The banquet manager Kathy Pauley was really wonderful to work with. She was committed and helped us out with all the details to make it the wedding of my daughter's dreams. I walked in before my daughter and her new husband got there to check everything out and started crying....it was perfect. I was told by one of our guests that was an event planner that he looks for ways that he could have made the reception better and he couldn't find one thing he would have done different....from the wedding dinner singer, the appetizers. the delicious dinner, the DJ, the up lighting, the bar drinks, the cake, the sweet table, the coffee bar, the cigar table , the beautiful grounds of the golf course and even the late night snack....we had it all ! Thanks ruffled Feathers for a day we will never forget !!

Ruffled Feathers Ballroom

Ruffled Feathers was exactly what I was looking for in a venue! Their all-inclusive packaging provided quality items and peace of mind during the planning process. Kathy was a joy to work with because of her flexibility, attention to detail and recommendations on other local vendors!

Great Customer Service!

Working with Ruffled Feathers was rough in the beginning but once we were working with Kathy and Taylor things smoothed out very quickly.
Kathy helped us try to stay within our budget and gave us some great ideas as well.
Taylor was AMAZING the week of the wedding answering all my questions and understanding our vision. She was a great help during the rehearsal and on the day of she handled any issue in stride. My florist was 2.5 hours late and Taylor was on it the whole time and knew exactly where the florist was and when she was arriving. She helped keep my mom at bay by knowing where the florist was and it was one less thing for me to worry about.
Thank you Taylor and Kathy for making our day so perfect!

Pretty Venue but Out of Budget

The name of this venue is pretty great and seeing the beautiful pictures on their website, I knew I wanted my fiancé and I to go visit. I contacted them to request pricing in for packages and didn’t see anywhere about a food or beverage minimum and seemed like it could be in our price point. After driving all the way to Lemont, we sat down with the consultant, she had asked how many people and when we told her about 70 people, she told us that there was a food and beverage minimum and that the space would be too large for what we needed. Now, when I requested pricing in the first place, she knew the number of people and did not disclose the food and beverage minimum! She did apologize and recommended and set up an appointment with a sister location that could be in our price point. It was frustrating because the location was not close for us to get too and if we knew about the minimum, we wouldn’t have made an appointment in the first place. If you are having a larger wedding and price is open to you, give Ruffled Feathers a look, all the windows in the reception area are beautiful!

Beautiful Venue

We were pleased with our wedding at Ruffled Feathers. The grounds are just gorgeous and made a great background for our pictures. We were able to take a golf cart out around the course to capture some beautiful photos which was fun! Our guests really liked the food a lot. Jaclyn and her team did a great job setting up the decorations. I was very happy with the set-up of the cocktail hour room and the reception room! My one small complaint would be a miscommunication on the hours of the reception. We were under the impression we had the room until midnight (per contract) when really it ended at 11:30 p.m. It was inconvenient to have our DJ come up to us asking to cut a half hour worth of music. I wish I would have known sooner so that I could have planned music more accordingly so that was our only complaint. Other than that, we would definitely recommend having your wedding at Ruffled Feathers!

Perfect wedding venue. We booked Ruffled Feathers before all the renovations were complete and wow were we so pleased with what they did. We used the bar and grill for a cocktail hour and it was amazing! We loved being able to use the balcony space as well. The food was awesome and the bartenders were GREA. Kathy and Colleen were great to work with. They were so accommodating with any request and we're so happy we chose to have our wedding there.

Ruffled Feathers was great to work with. They were accommodating to my last minute needs that I kept changing for my wedding. There were some small hiccups in the road, but everything worked out. My sister has her wedding reception here and I really liked it, so I had mine there about 6 years later. One of the reasons why I like Ruffled Feathers is because they only have 1 room to hold your event. I didn't have to compete with other weddings. The staff was solely focused on mine. The chicken vesuvio and tilapia was great!
