We chose RSVP as our caterer after receiving sample menus from at least 5 other local caterers, and attending 2 other tastings. RSVP stood out to us as the perfect combination of excellent quality food, unique presentation, and reasonable price. We were especially grateful to have chosen RSVP after Covid hit and we were forced to downsize our wedding from our original indoor wedding venue with 180 guests to a small backyard tented wedding of 40 guests. RSVP (Maura in particular) could not have been more accommodating, even though the change meant that the contract value was less than half of what was originally expected. Maura personally visited our home twice before the wedding day to make sure everything would run smoothly, and was there on the wedding day overseeing everything. RSVP provided beautiful tableware to fit our backyard "rustic chic" vibe, including long tables, wicker chargers, and gold flatware, and were so patient in allowing us to make changes to these selections along the way. On the day of, there was heavy rain throughout our wedding, but the RSVP service staff and bartenders were incredibly professional and flexible in working in the rain and mud under challenging conditions. We also really appreciated how Maura and RSVP were willing to incorporate all Covid safety precautions we requested, including a Plexiglass shield at the bar, face shields for staff, drink covers, and gloves. Our guests raved about how professional the staff were and how good the food was (despite being prepared in our house!). We are so grateful to have chosen RSVP for our wedding and encourage you to do so, too. (And make sure to order the everything bagel macarons - a highlight!!) -

I can gush for days how wonderful RSVP was to work with for our wedding catering. From the beginning speaking with Casey on the big picture, to working on the small details with Alexandra, the duo was a delight to work with through it all. You know that Alexandra must work on over a hundred weddings throughout the year, but when it’s your turn (whether for the tasting, pre-wedding coordination, or day-of), she gives you her total attention and dedication, making your event feel like the most important.
Compliments must go to the chef for stunning food, to the servers who worked tirelessly to serve our plated dinner in a small intimate space (without much room to maneuver!), bartender keeping up with our guests’ drinking needs, and Alexandra/Select for making it beautiful. Every person we came by that worked with RSVP was kind, friendly, and wanted to do a great job. It was felt in every moment of our wedding.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding catering experience. Our guests are still raving about the food—especially the peach-glazed short rib, saffron rice, chili-glazed tofu and noodles, and of course the s’mores pops! The spiked lychee lemonade and hot chocolate were huge hits as well. One of my biggest priorities for our wedding was having food that people would remember, and they absolutely delivered. Everything was flavorful, beautifully presented, and exceeded every expectation we had.
Working with Sarah and Gabrielle was such a pleasure from start to finish. From our initial meetings to the private tastings and even selecting our rentals for the guest tables and dinnerware, the whole process was smooth, fun, and incredibly thoughtful. They were attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in helping us create an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
We truly couldn’t recommend them more—every penny was worth it, and we are so grateful for the care and excellence they brought to our day. -

Choosing to hire RSVP to cater our wedding was a fantastic decision. The quality of the food, staff and overall experience was top notch and exceeded our expectations. We hosted 165 people at Stone Tower Winery in May, and the food/drink/service experience was very important to us. The food turned out even better than we both ever could have imagined. 2 months later and our guests still can’t stop talking about it! I’m personally still dreaming of the short ribs. The team knew the venue well which helped with execution. There were many moving parts – passed hors d’oeuvres, bar service, a plated meal, table-side wine service, toasts, dessert, cake cutting -- and they delivered seamlessly. All members of staff were kind and attentive. Throughout the wedding planning process, Casey and her team were super helpful, hands-on and flexible. They helped us to build the perfect menu that met our/our guests needs and to make tweaks along the way. It also made it easy that they partnered with Select Event Group for rentals, of which they had a small showroom on-site. During our tasting we were able to test out various linens/glassware/dishware and visualizing it helped us land on our perfect tablescape. We worked with RSVP for a year and a half, from across the country, and they made it a breeze and really enjoyable. I highly recommend hiring them to cater your wedding! -

Champagne & Cupcake Reception
We did a micro wedding at a historic venue that did not allow dark liquids. RSVP had the perfect solution, allowing us to do a simple champagne reception with cupcake towers. They even added fresh Berry options for the flutes and the guests are still raving about their delicious cupcakes! -

Our experience with RSVP Caterers for our wedding was nothing short of exceptional! The entire team, particularly Casey, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about our wedding venue, ensuring a seamless experience for us and our guests.
The variety and quality of the food options were outstanding, with a diverse range of delicious choices that catered to all tastes and dietary needs. We especially appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to switch out desserts for a late-night food option, which was a huge hit among our guests!

RSVP was amazing to work with!! We did a tasting with them prior to booking them and were so impressed. They have super unique tasty dishes and everything was excecuted perfectly. We had short rib and salmon duo plate and the meat was perfectly cooked. The late night tater tots were a fun addition and everyone loved them! The team is also wonderful-- we loved working with Alexandra to plan the menu and rentals!! Thank you to the entire RSVP team!! -

We used RSVP catering for our micro wedding this past October 2022. RSVP was recommended by a friend of a friend. When researching RSVP it seemed as though RSVP mainly did bigger events, but when I reached out to them they were more than helpful and willing to cater my smaller wedding. Alex and Casey were beyond helpful through the entire process. They helped me through the selection process and accommodated my tastings as I was planning my wedding out of state. The day of the wedding all the staff from RSVP were extremely courteous and professional. The food was absolutely amazing, all of our wedding guests raved about the food and how it was the best wedding food they had ever had. No matter how big or small your event is, RSVP can handle any of your catering needs. Professional, caring staff and the pricing is completely reasonable. We cannot recommend RSVP enough!

They made the whole process fun from the tasting to giving us ideas like having passed hot apple cider before the ceremony since it was a chilly day. Amazing food & service!
We worked with Amanda for our wedding day and are so happy with how it turned out! We went to one of RSVP's group tastings and loved Amanda's attention to detail, so we specifically asked to work with her. Closer to the wedding, we had our individual tasting which was really fun! She was a big help in coordinating the layout of both the ceremony and the reception. They helped us adjust to make our wedding more safe because of COVID - people loved the individually plated appetizers! We also wanted to implement signature cocktails at the last minute, which Amanda easily helped us coordinate and serve.
On the wedding day, we felt like VIPs because Amanda and her team would bring us food and drinks whenever we wanted. They were extremely efficient and helpful. And it was delicious! We are very happy with our menu choices and people are still telling us how good the food was! -

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Casey and the RSVP Catering team. We opted for a less traditional, cocktail-style wedding, and RSVP executed it seamlessly. Our account manager, Casey, made the entire wedding planning process so easy. She understood our vision, answered every question we had and helped us think through the big logistical questions. And on top of that, the food was AMAZING and so creatively displayed -- we have guests still raving about how delicious and fun the food was. The waitstaff and other RSVP staff the day of were so professional and nice and helped make the evening flow perfectly. Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be thanks to RSVP. We would recommend them to any couple, and in fact, we can't wait to work with them again for another event one day!! -

My husband and I were very fortunate to work with Casey in the lead-up to our big day. Her familiarity with our venue provided great comfort, and she worked seamlessly with the site contact and our day-of coordinator to make everything go off without a hitch. Moreover, Casey showed incredible kindness and patience as we made some changes to our game plan fairly late, and even went so far as to bring additional tasting samples to our home just to make sure we could make the most informed decisions! Our guests were uniformly complimentary of the food. We are so grateful to Casey and the hard-working staff at RSVP who made our event such a huge success. -

RSVP Catering’s entire team, and especially Amanda Bauer, our main liaison, was wonderful to work with on our recent wedding in April 2019. RSVP invited us to a tasting of their new seasonal additions to their menu before we actually booked them as our caterer, then offered us multiple drafts of menu selections, as well as a personalized tasting of menu choices to help us narrow down our wedding menu. The constant and detailed communication with Amanda and her team throughout the planning process was very helpful and we appreciated their recommendations and guidance on set up, event flow, and popular menu and bar choices. We really enjoyed working with RSVP and highly recommend them as a caterer for your wedding or next event! -

We cannot recommend this caterer enough. RSVP was amazing from the day we signed the contract until the day of the wedding. We did both a group tasting and a private tasting of their food and it was DELICIOUS each time. Our group tasting included 25 couples, and was so organized. Despite the countless events they cater every day, we felt like our wedding was the only event happening that day. We worked with Elizabeth who was awesome. She was very organized and was able to talk to me about our menu/event at the drop of a hat, despite all the other events she had going on. She remembered ideas we discussed months prior that I had forgotten about and was able to customize our event to our liking. I am gluten-free, and she was able to recommend several gluten free items for the menu, and the guests never even had a clue! Our guests LOVED the food. We're still getting messages about how delicious the meal was, one guest even said that the brisket we had was the best he's ever tasted. They even had a special kids meal option, which the parents greatly appreciated. And the service! Our guests were so impressed with how quickly and how frequently the hors d'oeuvres were passed during cocktail hour and how their glasses were never empty at the reception. RSVP went above an beyond our expectations. Look no further and hire them now! -

We enjoyed our experience working with RSVP from start to finish. They had such creative and gorgeous menu options, but without making the common mistake of sacrificing flavor for looks. They were also very helpful in adjusting to meet our budget needs, while also ensuring a fabulous selection.
They also handled all our rentals, which made that process simple and straightforward, so we had one point of contact for all food, drink, and rental decisions.
We worked with Casey, who was so wonderful. She was responsive and helpful and gets credit for suggesting the donut wall, which our guests are *still* talking about. Seriously -- you need that thing! -

The only obstacle I faced on wedding planning was finding the right caterer. UNTIL I spoke with Megan at RSVP. After talking with 6 other companies, I had my initial call with Megan and I knew they were the right company for us.
Megan, and Casey, were very knowledgeable, listened, understood and helped us develop the "vision and feel" that suited us. Not to mention they were FUN!
The service, the quality of food, all the extra help and the care they took with our wedding was greatly appreciated. I KNOW all that RSVP did with us, and for us, was a huge part of making our day as fantastic as it was. Our guests LOVED the food, the staff and the fun they created. -

The food at our wedding was such a hit, I am still getting compliments on the variety offered and just how great the taco cart was. Martha and her team went above and beyond. Every single item we picked for our stations was delicious and outside the norm of "plated wedding dinner."
Our tasting was superb and very professional, my fiance, parents and I had a wonderful time.
Would highly recommend RSVP, great menu, outstanding food, and wonderful customer service. -

RSVP was so great. Everyone we interacted with was very nice and accommodating, and most important of all, the food was delicious. The appetizers were a huge hit, and the entrees including the gnocchi were excellent. But seriously, the appetizers were amazing. Best part is they were all one bite, because people don't want to be holding a plate, napkin, drink, and grabbing food all at the same time. Could not be happier with RSVP. -

We worked with Abbey at RSVP and had a fabulous experience. She was very responsive, professional, calm, and attentive - I felt very prepared knowing we were in her hands as we approached the date! We did not have a wedding planner, and Abbey also provided great advice when we weren't sure which option to choose. She worked to understand what was important to us and delivered on that.
On the day itself, all went smoothly, progressed exactly as we discussed, and the catering team's service was elegant. We received many compliments on the quality of the food (Cliff Spa Chicken, Copper River Salmon, Charred Corn Ravioli) from our guests. I can't recommend RSVP (and Abbey!) enough! -

We had a specific menu in mind for our wedding, as we planned an Oktoberfest reception and wanted to include traditional dishes. I spoke with several caterers by phone and met with a few in person, but RSVP stood out from the beginning because Abbey listened to our thoughts about the theme and menu and incorporated our ideas into the initial proposal and subsequent tastings. In the end the food turned out great and we got tons of compliments about the spatzle, potato salad, sausages and pretzel bites. Amy Sent on 10/13/2018We worked with Abbey and we felt like we got both a catering company and an event planner in one! She was incredibly responsive and helpful in the process of building our menu and planning our wedding. We had an idea of what we wanted to serve, but RSVP had so many amazing options, and was incredibly accommodating that our menu continued to evolve but within the budget.
The food was amazing, and they didn't skimp on cocktail hour, there was a continuous flow of food. Entrees were unique and delicious - every plate was clean by the end of the meal! The staff was very well organized and attentive, quickly answering questions about dietary restrictions, and keeping glasses full. We were also able to get our cake from RSVP and they had so many flavor options it was hard to decide - we actually ended up doing a small cake and mini desserts because the bakery was so impressive.
RSVP went above and beyond putting together to-go boxes of the mini-desserts for our officiant (it was his birthday) and for a couple that came in from out of town but had to miss the reception due to work commitments. We even had boxed cake and mini desserts ready and waiting in our getaway car! RSVP had a great selection of linens, base plates and China that brought the whole reception together.
RSVP really gave us a gourmet and custom experience at a price much lower than many of the other catering companies we got quotes from. If we could, we'd dine with RSVP every day. Thank you RSVP and Abbey especially for making our event so memorable! -

Candice Sent on 07/09/2018We used RSVP catering for our wedding at Arena Stage in DC. Our coordinator was Casey Gardella, who was professional and prompt in returning all of our emails. RSVP Catering was beyond helpful. We didn't have much decorations; it was mostly limited to pretty simple ceterpieces. Our wedding planner wanted us to hire a decorator, but that would have cost us thousands. I asked Casey if RSVP would just set the centerpieces (vases) out on the tables, and she said they could even put out more elaborate pieces if we gave them a picture of what we wanted them to look like. A friend of ours ultimately ended up setting up the centerpieces, but I thought it was really nice of RSVP to offer! They were also very accomodating with desserts. We brought in some inexpensive Costco sheet cakes and they plated things up very nicely.
For linens/plates/chairs...honestly, we didn't care at all. We went with the standard settings. Everything looked lovely. Our colors were pink and green, and I was a little worried things would look garish with pink/green tablecloths, but it all turned out bright and cheery--just what we were going for.
Food: I liked the hors d'oeuvres best, honestly. The crab cakes were amazing. I think we could have skipped the cheese plate. The beef was good but a little on the small side; I think the best value was the chicken. We chose a quinoa cake as our vegetarian option, and it was delicious! RSVP also provided Kosher meals (but not hors d'oevres). Our guests that keep kosher were very happy!
Regarding bar service, I've had multiple people tell me it was the best service they've ever seen at a wedding. My biggest complaint was that they did such a good job of refilling people's drinks that hardly anyone went up to the actual bar, which made them miss the dessert table! Not much of a complaint!
I doubt that I will ever need the services of a large scale caterer again, but I wouldn't hestitate to hire RSVP in the future. They were great! -

Everything was plated with extra care, and fit today's wedding trends. RSVP was very accommodating for our guests who had special dietary restrictions as well. From the moment we started contact with them, the staff at RSVP was attentive and was more than willing to help us make our dream wedding possible. They took great care of us the day of the event and met us with food and beverages instantly after the ceremony and right away at dinner so we were able to greet our guests - and this service continued all night long. They also took great care of our family and wedding party with food and beverages during the lengthy photography session. Most importantly, they were on time with our schedule and their coordinators at the event were phenomenal. I highly recommend this catering company for any event that you are considering!

Natalie Sent on 11/14/2010RSVP Catering was AMAZING to work with. Marsha Meltzer was our Account Manager and she SUPERCEDED our expectations of a caterer by far.
My husband and I did many tastings with different caterers so that we were sure that we made the best choice. We actually came down to two final catering choices but Marsha went out of her way to accomodate our wants and needs and remain in constant communication with us. We knew that she was interested in our business and knew that she could deliver exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. We are glad that we went with RSVP over our other choice.
The food was AMAZING and we are still getting compliments from our guests on the food and dessert table! There was very little food left over after our reception ended.
RSVP's staff was very professional and went out of their way to ensure that everything went just smoothly. They stayed on top of the timeline and were cleaned up and on their way out after our wedding had ended early. Marsha actually had two weddings that day that she was the Account Manager for and she attended our wedding just due to the fact that that was part of our requirement when interviewing caterers.
RSVP was definitely competitive in pricing and worth every penny! We have been telling all of our recently engaged friends to try RSVP as well as if we ever need to cater another event we will be calling Marsha! -

She was awesome to work with (but sadly has left the area for catering opportunities in California). RSVP makes delicious food. Our guests raved about it. They were so flexible and thoughtful about each detail of the wedding right down to the linens. USE THEM!!! -

We had an amazing experience with RSVP as the caterers for our wedding! From the time we reached out for a proposal, until the breakdown of our event, the team was professional, helpful, kind and accommodating.
Casey was especially helpful in the final months leading up to our wedding -- always answering emails in a timely manner, giving us options and walking us through any decisions we had to make.
Our bar and dinner set up was wonderful and efficient. No one was ever waiting for a drink and dinner was served quickly. The food options were plentiful and delicious, and Casey and her team were especially accommodating to the dietary restrictions and needs of our guests.
I would definitely recommend working with RSVP for your event!
