Roy is the Best!

Roy did a great job DJing and MCing our wedding! Each event flowed so well and he made sure the music was seamless and fit our visions perfectly. And of course he created the best atmosphere for the best dance party ever! We had so much fun! The dance floor was packed all night! He knew exactly when to play what song to keep the party going and keep everyone on the dance floor. We gave him a playlist and he turned it into the best party ever! Our guests are still telling us about how much fun they had. Many have said it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. He was also so flexible and willing to work with us on anything we wanted in terms of setup and music selection. I would definitely recommend hiring Roy for your wedding! Especially if you are getting married at The Seclusion!

Absolutely the best DJ

When I thought about what I wanted at my wedding reception, I knew I wanted a full dance floor, and that's exactly what Roy delivered. The dance floor was full the entire night. My husband and I made a playlist of songs we wanted to play at the reception, it included songs from The Backstreet Boys, Simple Plan, System of a Down, Ying Yang Twins, and Kesha. Despite the somewhat ridiculous and eclectic mix of songs, Roy managed to play all of them (and the Tarantella courtesy of my mom) AND KEPT THE DANCE FLOOR FULL. I don't know how many people can say they had a mosh pit at their wedding but I did and it was so much fun. It was an absolutely amazing time and I'm so happy we hired him.

If that's not enough, my husband and I had something very specific in mind for our walkout music into the reception. We had the reception at Charter Hall with and had everyone walk out across the stage and down the stairs. We wanted to splice together three very different songs and Roy. Absolutely. Delivered.

It was the most epic night and I credit a lot of that to how much fun everyone was having on the dance floor. All credit for the dance floor goes to Roy. Between the Tarantella, the accidental congo line to the bar while Lil Jon - Shots played, and on-purpose Rick Rolling everyone at my reception, the night was absolutely summed up by David Guetta/Bebe Rexha - I'm Good (Blue). Roy took the playlist we provided and gave it life. We thought people might leave early (the reception went until 11:30), but 95% of the guests stayed til the very end. I might be biased because it was my wedding, but it was the most fun I've ever had at a wedding. Roy was absolutely wonderful to work with, I would 100% recommend him.

Roy is the BEST

We had the absolute pleasure of having DJ Roy at our wedding, and I can honestly say he was the best DJ we’ve ever experienced! From the moment he started playing, the energy in the room was electric. Roy has an incredible talent for reading the crowd and curating the perfect playlist that keeps everyone engaged and on their feet. Whether it was the upbeat dance tracks or the smooth transitions between genres, everything flowed seamlessly throughout the night.

Not only is Roy a master behind the decks, but he is also incredibly professional and easy to communicate with. He took the time to understand exactly what kind of vibe we wanted, and he delivered beyond our expectations. His punctuality, equipment setup, and sound quality were all top-notch, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

What really stood out was Roy’s passion and dedication to his craft. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy was contagious. Guests of all ages kept complimenting his music choices, and many said it was the best party they’d been to in a long time. Thanks to Roy, our event was unforgettable and truly one-of-a-kind.

Customized entertainment

Roy DJ'ed for our wedding and we can't say enough good things about him. We truly enjoyed working with him and our guests had a great time at our wedding! Roy created the reception atmosphere we had asked him for. He took all of our requests and made them a reality. Would highly recommend RSP entertainment for your wedding! Perfect Celebration

RSP is amazing! We had Roy at our wedding, and we loved his attention to detail. We had a questionnaire to answer prior to the celebration. As we got closer, Roy made sure to go over the details with us, as well as our wedding coordinator to ensure we had a flawless event. Everything was perfect!!

The Best Around

The best DJ around.

RSP (Roy) is very organized and professional. He was in communication with us leading up to the event to go over/confirm the details. He was also very helpful and provided suggestions to make sure the evening went smoothly.

During the reception Roy was interactive while still letting the music shine. He was great at reading the crowd to know what would drive the energy of the evening. When our reception was coming to a close, I had a few of my friends who were so thrilled with Roy that they asked me if they could pay him extra to stay for a few extra hours. I'd say that speaks for itself.

Over the top amazing

I have and will continue to sing praises to everyone I know about this company, specifically Roy. He was so easy to communicate with and keep in touch with. He kept things on the schedule for our wedding day but in a way that didn’t make me feel as though we were missing out on anything. He was fun and easy going with all of my guests. He was one of the reasons my wedding day was the best day ever! If you’re looking to have a smooth, fun filled day, I highly recommend going with RSP! RSP Entertainment is the PERFECT DJ group. Roy was fun, kind, professional, and made the wedding day seamless and stress free for us. They are organized and efficient. Great Wedding DJ

Roy was an intricate part of our son’s wedding-so professional and fun to work with. He played all the requests, even “Baby Shark” for our grandchildren! Amazing DJ and owners!!!

Madison DJed our 10/10/20 wedding and she was amazing!! All of my guests raved about her and stayed on the dance floor all night long. The owner of RSP is also so accommodating and organized. We booked with them pretty last minute and he was able to not only send us a great dj, but also sent guides for the ceremony and reception that made it so easy to share what songs we’d like and customize our wedding. I can’t recommend them enough, definitely book with them if they are available for your date!!

We recently used RSP Entertainment’s DJ services for our wedding at the Taubman Museum. They offered competitive pricing for very experienced DJs and top of the line equipment. They provided a lot of assistance during the planning process and listened to how we envisioned the evening going. RSP even worked with us as we made significant changes to the wedding plan due to COVID. Scott was our DJ for the night and he executed everything perfectly. He played all of our requested songs with on point timing during the ceremony and then a nice mix of music throughout the reception. Our reception was very small but he was still able to get everyone moving when the time was right. We highly recommend RSP Entertainment.

Hire RSP now!

RSP is everything you want in a DJ. They were professional from the instant we had our intial contact with them. Russ, our DJ, was incredible. He did all the announcements perfectly. The music was fabulous. He had the ability to control the entire vibe of the wedding, and he was perfect. Later one of my daughter's told me she asked him to play a particular song that was a bit naughty. He politley said no, even after she begged. Now that is A1 professional. What more do you want. This is the one to hire!

Best DJ of all time

I highly recommend! I used RSP Entertainment for my wedding this year and they did it all! They did our ceremony (mic and music), cocktail hour, reception (music, mics, lights) and everything was absolutely perfect! I even added very last minute two slide shows for at the reception and Roy perfectly was able to incorporate them. They were super quick to respond and answer any of our questions. The day of, Roy arrived early, everything was set up and everything went off without a hitch! At the very end, when all of our guests were outside for the exit and it was just my husband and I, Roy continued to play a slow song and we were able to have a special moment of just us, and we are so appreciative for that! I highly recommend!

Great music selection kept the party going all night

DJ RoyBoy was great. Had a great song list, and did a good job taking requests. He really kept the party flowing with good transistions for the speeches, cake cutting, etc. We received a lot of compliments from our guests who loved it. The dance floor was packed all night.

We loved having RSP Entertainment provide our music and mic needs at our wedding reception. Very organized, and professional company! Truly professional and made our wedding day!

The Old Mill Farm Venue coordinator Robyn Tuck introduced RSP Entertainment to us. After some research, we decided to go with RSP Entertainment as they had good reviews and were highly recommended. We ended up meeting Roy in person, as we did not have much sorted out for our wedding day. Roy quickly adapted to our personalities, easily understood our expectations, and guided us through planning our event in about one hour. I would recommend chatting with your DJ in some form before the event, as there were details we didn’t even consider; we are glad we met in person.

On the day of our wedding, Roy arrived and immediately set up; he knew exactly what he needed to do. During our ceremony, Roy seamlessly integrated our song choices, which continued into the cocktail hour and reception; he pretty much ran the day. Throughout the reception, Roy took our previously determined queues, our schedule, along with our personalities, and was able to adapt quickly with the changes that are natural on a wedding day. Roy kept the party upbeat, moving along, and kept the day running on track.

Roy and other DJ’s deserve more respect because they are indeed the life of the party and guide the day’s timeline; they make the event! We are truly happy to have had Roy and will never be able to thank him enough for giving us our amazing day. Roy and RSP Entertainment are true professionals and honestly just down to earth humble Americans.

Perfect DJ for our wedding

RSP Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding. Roy was very easy to work with and we knew our ceremony and reception were in good hands. We hired RSP for our wedding ceremony (music and mics) and reception music, and Roy also served as the MC for the night. He was a fun and engaging DJ and really knew how to bring the dance floor to life. As swing dancers, we had some special requests that we worried would throw off the flow of the night, but he wove them into the reception so seamlessly that everyone was dancing to them. We partied into the night and had a blast! We highly recommend RSP Entertainment to anyone looking for a wedding or event DJ.

The best!!

RSP Entertainment was everything we could have asked for and more! Russell and Roy were prompt, kind, professional, highly responsive, answered all of our questions, and eased our stresses. Russell was our DJ for the wedding reception, and he did such a great job reading the crowd and keeping everyone up on their feet! He also played the songs we had specifically requested on our guides at the perfect moment. The uplighting was beautiful as well. We would recommend their services again and again!

Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married on June 8, 2019 at The Maridor. John was our DJ for the night and we couldn't have been happier! He set up meetings with us to insure we got everything we wanted played. He discussed style of music, genre, specific songs, the flow of the evening, etc. All of the guests were pleased with the music selection. The uplighting really added to the room and looked great. We would highly recommend RSP Entertainment!

Easy to work with

Everyone I interacted with was very professional and super nice. I got responses in a timely manor and they worked with us to truly understand what vibe we were going for. Everything was perfect for the big day and they had everything under control. Our wedding was intimate so not that many people got their boogie on but those that did really enjoyed the music!

If I could give more stars to RSP Entertainment I would! Russell Prusak was our DJ for the evening. I had a lot of complicated requests and trusted him to make it how I envisioned. He way exceeded my expectations on how smooth everything would go. And to add to that, a huge storm broke out in the middle of our reception, leaving the downstairs soaking wet and unable to be used. Russell was able to move some equipment upstairs and get the music going again. Needless to say, there was non-stop dancing after that. We have had many of our guests say "that was the most fun wedding I have been to" and "that DJ was amazing, there was never a dull moment." All I can say is that if you have music needs for a special occasion, you NEED to book RSP Entertainment. Even if you are not local, Russell travels to you. I will forever be thankful to him for saving my wedding and making it the best day of my life!

RSP Entertainment was great! They were very easy to schedule and coordinate. The planning form was thorough and extremely helpful for thinking through how we wanted the night to sound. DJ John played our list of songs but mixed in guest requests and popular music to create a fun soundtrack.

I was super impressed with how smoothly the night went thanks to DJ John--he kept us on track schedule-wise, set the mood for each portion of the night, and, most importantly, maintained an excellent dance floor! I loved the mix of classics, guest requests, and pop music. I really appreciate John and RSP Entertainment helping making the night absolutely fun and very special.

Roy was the DJ at my wedding this past June, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Everyone loved the music, and he read the diverse crowd perfectly. He was a pleasure to work with and was incredibly accommodating and reassuring. He did th4 music for both our ceremony and our reception, and everything was perfectly timed and right on point. He took all of our requests and likes/dislikes into account, and really created the perfect playlist for our night! I would absolutely recommend RSP to anyone and everyone!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Roy was so great to work with and he kept the party going for the whole night. I typically don't even like to dance (I'm not good at it), but I danced all night and had the best time. We got SO many compliments on the music at our wedding and the dance floor was full all night. I asked for some very specific processional/recessional music and and he delivered on all of it. We are so thankful we chose RSP and would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Russell from RSP did an absolutely amazing job as DJ for our wedding! Prior to the wedding, he was very easy to communicate with and confirmed every detail of the reception in order to make sure it went off without a hitch. We received compliments throughout the night on the music he played and how energetic he was during announcements. He has done two of my friends’ weddings, my wedding, and will be doing my sister’s wedding in January. I highly recommend RSP – you will not be disappointed!! Roy was fabulous ! Emily and her groom , Danny , were so pleased with all the music at the reception . Roy has a knack for figuring out how to get people up and out on the dance floor . A few changes had to be made with the order of events and Roy was able to help with the changes without hesitation . We needed a DJ and decided to go with RSP, as they were highly recommended, and I am so glad we did! From the start, Roy and Brandy were very responsive to any questions or concerns I had for our big day. Their wedding planning guide was easy to use and really helped us decide what we wanted for our wedding. Scott was our DJ and he was so nice and polite! I don't believe our dance floor was ever empty and everyone had so much fun! The progression of the music fit perfectly and the inclusion of the bachata music was so appreciated! We LOVED having RSP DJ our wedding. We used John and got more than our money's worth. I never felt stressed about any of the prep before the wedding. Roy handled all the paperwork and then flawlessly handed everything over to John the week of the wedding. When you use RSP you are in great hands. They will make sure you get the music that you want at your event. At our wedding, John was great with talking with our guests, facilitating the events of our reception, and I could tell he really cared about making our day special. There is no surprise they have so many rave reviews :)

RSP Entertainment is very professional and so easy to work with! They were accommodating throughout the entire process and really listen to all your preferences and details for the event. Scott was our DJ and did an amazing job. He was very flexible when it unexpectedly poured rain for our wedding weekend and he had to completely rearrange the ceremony set up. Our DJ was Russell (DJ Flex) and he was incredible. He was so communicative leading up to the wedding to make sure we had everything picked out the way we wanted, and he was just engaging enough during the reception to keep people moving. We had Matt & Matt as our DJs for our wedding, and LOVED them. We had Russell DJ at our wedding, and I really cannot say enough wonderful things about him! He is an extremely talented, professional DJ and was so fun to work with! We asked him to make a mix for the father/daughter dance, and it was exactly what I had envisioned and flawless! RSP delivered exactly what we wanted in a DJ for our wedding. From managing the music during the ceremony to leading us all through the reception everything went flawlessly. Before the wedding Roy provided us with all of the information we needed and gave detailed instructions on what he needed from us. Once that was put together he took care of the rest. I don't think there was a person at the reception who was able to stay off the dance floor, Roy did an excellent job of keeping everyone engaged and flowing. Even when we didn't know how to do a line dance he jumped out on the floor to help us figure it out! A definite must DJ for any party or wedding.

Russell, the DJ for our wedding, was fantastic! He was very responsive by phone or email throughout the planning process. My family has used RSP entertainment many times for weddings (& have attended many weddings using them) and have never been disappointed! They are very professional and really know how to cater the music and atmosphere to your taste. Roy DJed my wedding a few weeks ago and I received multiple compliments on how well he kept things moving and got everyone on the dance floor! He really knows how to keep everything on track so you don't even have to think about what time to cut the cake, toss the garter or anything else which makes your wedding stress-free for everyone involved. Anytime I hear someone is looking for a DJ I always recommend RSP. I have never had anyone tell me they were unhappy with them as their choice.

After my daughters wedding she described the day as one big happy blurr. I can only compare that to the feeling that RSP founder Roy Prusack must have felt as they stayed in the hospital with newborn Twins! Even with the birth of long awaited babies pending , RSP did not miss a beat in following thru with my daughters wedding! The party was on all night long . Let me start by saying that the DJ was the most vendor to me at my wedding. We had an intimate party with only around 40 guests, and most people recommended to save the money and use an Ipod or friend to DJ... but we wanted it to be an epic dance party, and I insisted on a professional to be in charge. Roy was excellent, and before the wedding he eased my momentary nerves of "will a DJ make a small wedding awkward?!!" Of course it wasn't awkward---hell, it would of been awkward WITHOUT him. Roy made everyone comfortable, indulged my crazy dancing and piano bar song needs (I didn't sit down once after dinner) and he made us all laugh. I really can not say enough good things about the entire experience with RSP. I need another reason to have a DJ just so I can hire them again. Trust me when I say to book them for your wedding---no matter the size.

Working with Roy from RSP Entertainment is as enjoyable and easy as possible. From the beginning, he impressed me in various ways. He is extremely polite, professional, honest, and friendly. He met with my fiance and me in person to discuss his work. His response times were always fast and his emails were very thorough. He was willing to use my long list of songs that I had compiled, and the order in which he played them during our wedding cocktail hour and dinner was seamless and wonderful. He did a great job selecting songs in the genre we requested during the open dancing time. He even made sure to check with me regarding guest requests for a song I mentioned I was unsure if I wanted played at the wedding. As the mother of the bride, we were VERY PLEASED with Russell. He was so nice and did everything we asked. Very easy guy to work with and he was very respectful to the genre of music the bride and groom wanted at their reception. I was THRILLED that RSP could incorporate the Amy Grant song "My Father's Eyes" with Lydia's video singing to her Dad when she was 6 years old @ his 40 birthday party. I didn't know if what I was asking could be done,but it was PERFECT!! Not a dry eye in the house on the father/daughter dance. It was exactly how I envisioned the dance. Russell was very professional. Kept everything moving smoothly. People DANCED and DANCED. It was so much fun! The Conga line was awesome. However, the photographer snapping shots in the middle of the floor didn't know it would tighten up. LOL!! I would HIGHLY recommend RSP. I couldn't think of a thing I would ask them to do differently. It was a wonderful night and my daughter came up to me during the dancing and thanked me for the perfect wedding day. We knew we wanted to dance at our daughter's reception and, because the ceremony was outside, we needed a sound system there also. Roy Prusak (RSP Entertainment) did a great job at both bringing sound to the outdoor ceremony as well as keeping the crowd entertained with a great selection of never-ending dance music.

Roy was very responsive and professional in working with our daughter (the bride) who insisted on picking every song on the playlist.

And the music mix was great - and just kept going all night. Everybody really enjoyed the evening - and Roy was a big reason for it.

I was very skeptical of getting a DJ for our wedding because I've seen so many bad ones in my life. But, Russell Prusak from RSP was the best! He took all of our suggestions and was so accommodating of our likes and dislikes, it was just wonderful! He even worked with my husband to surprise me in the middle of the reception and never once let on to me! Another thing you might not know about this company is that they will do audio (microphones) for outdoor weddings. It sounded great. Thanks, Russell! You were super awesome! Our friends and family loved you too!

Roy has been a close friend of ours for many many years. So we knew exactly who to call for our events! Our engagement party was a huge success and Roy kept the people on the dance floor so we knew he would do the exact same for our BIG day. That exactly what he did! I honestly didn't leave the dance floor on our wedding day. We gave Roy a few lists of different songs to play and he knew exactly when to play them. Roy is so easy to work with and just awesome in general! I love when I go to a wedding and Roy is there! I know we are gonna have a good time! I highly recommend RSP for your big day not just because he's a friend but because he's the best around!

RSPentertainment was amazing to work with. Roy met with me over a year before our wedding and was amazingly helpful. He had considered every aspect of the reception and was prepared to tailor the night completely based on the songs we wanted, the songs we didn't want, the order of events, speeches, and special dances. He had really great recommendations and I have no doubt that the night would have been even more special with his expertise as an MC. We had to move our wedding because of my fiance's military commitments and could no longer use RSP but Roy was really understanding about that, too. I can't say enough about the quality of service and amazing value of RSP.

RSP Entertainment provided fantastic entertainment for our wedding. We all danced all night long and young and old enjoyed the entertainment. Roy also had a timeline that helped to keep everything on track the entire night. We really enjoyed working with Roy and his team! Dancing is one of my favorite pastimes so it was definitely an important part of our event and RSP Entertainment made it wonderful! Our wedding was an absolute blast and RSP Entertainment provided exceptional services to make it a night to remember.

The music at the reception was perfect. All of our requests for special songs were fulfilled and they were even able to find a polka at the request of our guests. It was awesome! I was so impressed - I would definitely recommend RSP Entertainment.

I used RSP Entertainment for the ceremony music and to DJ the wedding reception. I had Matt and Matt as the two DJ service. The only downside to these DJs is that they book up fast, so booking a year in advance was almost not enough. We only were able to have both DJs because someone backed out at the last minute. They were great at keeping everyone on the dance floor and moving us through the wedding reception events (cake cutting, toast, Hokiebird entrance, etc.) They gave a discount to Virginia Tech alumni, which is great, too!

I cannot say enough great things about this DJ company. They were the perfect decision for our wedding reception and they made the night go so smoothly. I have received NUMEROUS compliments from our guests that they were fantastic. The dance floor was always full, everyone had a good time (young and old) and they did all announcements for us and drove the night so well. It was flawless.

We got the package with DJ of 5+ years of experience. We ended up getting one with 13 years of experience. Great! We met with the DJ less than a week before the wedding. Very flexible and accommodating, which was wonderful. We had filled out the music selection list a few days prior and just went over it with him at our meeting. Our reception was at our church, so we didn't want any rap played or music with a lot of cursing in it and we let him know. They upheld our wishes completely. Wedding day went smoothly. DJ was so great - if we wanted to change anything up, we let them know and they switched things up for us. We decided to end our reception early just because we were worn out and thought it was time to go. We let the DJs know, and they ended it tastefully and gracefully for us. We had so much food leftover at the reception and they took it off our hands for us - otherwise it would've just gone to waste! So I'm thankful for that part too. The atmosphere provided was great and we had compliments from all our guests, young and old, that the music was not too loud and there was a great variety and range of music played that the older folks as well as the younger folks could enjoy.

Hiring RSP Entertainment for our wedding reception was one of the best decisions we could have made! Roy and Kevin were the actual DJs and the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE time. He made sure to not play anything we had asked him not to beforehand and ran any questionable guest requests by me before playing them. If you want a fun party, make sure RSP Entertainment is there.

We were extremely pleased with RSP Entertainment!! Our ceremony was outside and they did a great job with the music and microphone for the pastor. The reception was absolutely perfect! They did a great just with the introductions, cake cutting, etc. We didn't give them lists of what to play and what not to play- just told them to play a mixture of genres and play anything our guests requested. The dance floor was packed the entire evening!! I would 100% recommend RSP Entertainment!

Roy is fabulous! Our wedding was 100% perfect and a major reason for that was because of Roy and his wonderful abilities to please a crowd with his DJ'ing skills! I would recommend him to ANYONE. You cannot go wrong with Roy and/or RSP entertainment. When we have another event that needs a DJ we will absolutely use Roy/RSP entertainment, even if we have to pay to bring them to us (as we live in Baltimore). He is priced great and could actually get away with charging a lot more than he does!!!! People are still talking about the music, Roy and how great the party was. Roy, we can't thank you enough!!!!!

He didn't play all the songs that I put on my "must-play" list (guests requested other songs), but he did keep the crowd dancing the whole night. Very fun. Highly recommended.

Russ is seriously AMAZING!!!! He was a wonderful announcer and was even flexible when we decided to cut the reception a little short as people began to leave. He was so kind as to download the goofy nerdy songs me and my husband are into so that we could have a bit of our own music into the mix, music that is accommodating with so many things that brought me and him together. Russ is the sweetest person you'll ever meet and weather you have everything planned or so lost you don't know where to start, he will help you out with a smile on his face! I absolutely loved working with Russ!

RSP kept guests on the dance floor all night long and had my friends asking for the playlist. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat! Very responsive and willing to give suggestions based on their prior experiences. They created a great environment at our wedding!

Great wedding DJ!!

Russell and the RSP Entertainment team did an excellent job DJing our wedding! They were extremely accommodating with all our requests, and very adaptable with the few things that didn't quite go as planned with the other parts of the reception. Setup and cleanup were seamless and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Fun wedding music to our taste

John Wilson was our DJ for our 110 person wedding. Our guests were about 50/50 split between people 18-32 and 40+. Our music preferences are Alt Rock and 70's and 80's rock in various forms, which is usually not great for dancing. John worked with my husband's and my music preferences and did a fantastic job playing songs we enjoyed that kept everyone on the dance floor. He honored our music requests as outlined on the DJ planning form they provide. The DJ planning form also requested name pronunciation for the wedding party, and everyone's name was pronounced correctly even though there were some unusual ones

The DJ was nice and professional, but I was a little disappointed with the music selection. My RSVPs had a space for a song request and I compiled a list of over 150 songs that I would like to have played and it was okay if he couldn't get to all of them, but to play as many as he could during the regular dancing time... but he barely played the songs on my list and worse off he played 3 Grease songs back to back.... soundtracks? I don't mind ONE Grease song, but three back to back was overkill.. especially when I spent hours writing out a list. He was just to lazy to download all the songs and make my playlist. I could have just hired a stranger to make the playlist and play it for less than I paid him to play songs I didn't want played and for way less than we paid. Not bad service, just bad preparation. I would recommend being VERY specific with what you want and do not want.
