We had our daughters sweet 16 party at the Royal Palm and it was wonderful! The staff worked all the details and the service was great, no complaints. The food was really good. Really a memorable night. Thank you Royal Palm! -

I had my wedding reception at the Royal Palm Banquet and it was a wonderful experience. Tahiya along with Yusuf and other staff members were extremely responsive to our needs before and during the event. They were very receptive to any concerns we had and also made suggestions as needed to ensure we had a memorable day. Pricepoint was reasonable as well and we appreciated that they were cognizant of the budget we had in mind and worked with to find a suitable plan/package. I would definitely recommend their services based on my experience for this event.

Had my daughter's sweet 16 this past weekend. She is still in cloud 9. Was looking for a place With nice ambience with reasonably priced. The food was delicious, The Room was beautiful, but the service was superb. My event cordinator, Karla is absolutely Wonderful to work with. Every time I cold or text , she got to me immediately. I'm a little OCD with party planning And décor and they were very accommodating. The maitre D, Mike are super sweet and was that I beckon call. The only complaint I have was the Bakery They use. They made me wait an hour the 1st visit and the 2nd visit they lost the receipt to the cake and they were on this issues as well . My recommendation is to take the credit from the venue and get your own cake.
The Royal Palm help make that evening a Memorable Sweet 16. -

I would HIGHLY recommend the Royal Palm Banquet Hall!!!! They were EXTREMELY accommodating and a PLEASURE to deal with!!!!! They made my daughter's Sweet 16 a night that we and our guests are still talking about!!! Anyone who uses this venue WILL NOT be disappointed!!! -

I had my sister's bridal shower at this venue and it was an amazing time. They Royal Palm exceeded my expectations, especially with me booking at the very last second.
They were very accommodating every single step of the way. I was in search of a venue that would provide food for less than $35 per person. Royal Palm did fit into this price range. Normally, they make you guarantee 100 people to book the venue; however, they accommodated my small gathering of 35.
Lisa, my event coordinator, was amazing! She stayed in constant contact with me until the very end of the event. She was super sweet and very upbeat. Lisa was also so helpful and informative.
I would highly recommend this venue for any of your party needs. And I hope to throw future events here. -

The room looked beautiful! The food was better than we had remembered it at the tasting! The chef was so accommodating to allergy issues. The wait staff was so nice, accommodating and friendly that even my guests commented on how nice they were. -

We did not have a wedding, but had an Awards Dinner for our Little League. Everyone at the Royal Palm was very helpful and flexible while dealing with our changes and table requirements. -

My experience at Royal Palm Banquet Hall began in January when I first went to take a look around. We were looking for a hall that could accommodate 300-400 people. Sana was our guide. During our visit she walked us around the hall, showed us what a potential set up could be, informed us of menu option, and gave us an estimate. We left with a good feeling.
I checked five other halls before this one, so far we had been rushed around or been treated as though we were being done a favor by touring their hall. That was NOT the case at Royal Palm. We decided to book.
Over the next few months I tortured Sana - I called, e-mailed, and texted every single time I had a question...she was so patient. She reassured me constantly that everything was taken care of and answered every question without hesitation - no call or text went unanswered, no hoops to jump through. She was unable to be there on the night of my event but promised to have everything ready before she left for the day. She did not disappoint.
The night of the wedding I arrived to a hall that was already set up and perfect. I had no adjustments to make - she really had taken care of it all. My Maitre' D, Mike, was filled in and on the ball. He constantly checked with me to make sure things were in place, he had food brought to the bridal suites, and reminded me of the little things that I was forgetting to do. At the end of the night he brought out tables and set up the favors for me so that I wouldn't have to pass them out myself.
Everything about my experience at Royal Palm was great. The hall was beautiful and the staff is nothing short of amazing. I'm so glad I chose it as the venue for my wedding. I would definitely recommend them. Ask for Sana!! She's the absolutely best!! -

Amanda Martin was our banquet organizer for our 5th grade graduation dance. She was excellent, she answered every question, handled any details that came up and was extremely accessible. The night of the event she was there to ensure everything went smoothly. The children had a wonderful time, the food was good, the allergy meals were exactly what we wanted and our maitre'd Peter and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. I give them all high praise. -

This is a great ace for peor to any affaire I can't complain at all my daughter 1st communion there was amazing from the decor to the end .and without that girl Amanda none of this could be possible cause she gave the best of her to make us happy.my daughter can't stop talking about the place and how great Amanda was with her. -

The party was amazing. The hall was beautiful and immaculate. Lovely party planners. The wait staff on the day of the party was fabulous. The maitre d' was always accommodating and helpful. A wonderful reception hall in general from the planning stages through the party night. I have and will continue to recommend you to friends and family. My daughters Sweet 16 was perfect from beginning to end. Amanda made sure all our needs were met in the planning. We chose Super Sweet Sixteens for DJ, MC, photography and photo booth. They were awesome in price and professionalism and quality. The Royal Palm staff were incredibly attentive. They helped with the decorating without being asked and the maître de, Mo made sure all the tables were happy. Food was delicious, and they packed up the leftovers! I would recommend the Royal Palm to anyone. -

Amanda is amazing at what she does and is limited as to what she can do for her clients. On the day of the event Amanda made sure that my daughters room was simply amazing. She did everything to make sure this was a smooth transition and party. My guest were pleased with her and the staff except for the "maitre d'".
My maitre d was not helpful at all he was asked to help pass out the giveaways. He decided to hand over a bunch to a few kids instead of providing the proper assistance. If there is any improvement needed at this venue is to remove the mandated tip to the maitre d'. I am a strong believer in customer service and happy to tip those that I feel is deserving of one.
As for Amanda and the staff. All hands were on deck. Amanda will do all she can to assure a successful event. She isn't one who wants to add on any stress what so ever. The food is absolutely amazing. I didn't have time to eat but my guest were all very pleased. If your looking to not over spend n working with a budget this is by far a great place to start. -

The only problem was the air conditioner stopped working for an hour and it was a very humid day. Otherwise the party was great -

Karla at the Royal Palm was very friendly and professional, but the layout of the food was not what I expected. The cheese station was a on a very small table and I thought there would be more passed around during the cocktail 1/2 hour. I paid a lot of money, and it seemed that they cut a few corners. The room was so hot that nobody wanted to dance. I asked if the heat was on and was told no, to come to find out it was on, when the air was put on that is when everyone got out of their seats to dance. I was supposed to have handouts during the night and never received them, the best part of the night was the DJ, he did an awesome job. -

So I’ve voiced my disapproval of Royal Palm’s services 2 months ago. In the interim, the owners of Royal Palm, and my wife and I met to discuss the chaos that ensued on the day of our wedding. To my recollection, at least one (I believe Ruma) of the owners was present at the venue during the event. In our lengthy meeting, she personally admitted that she reviewed the security footages and saw that the chicken tandoori ran out after about 230 ppl (event for 430 ppl. $20k). She concurred that people were waiting in line for >2hrs and then started leaving the lines. She herself came forward during our event around 11pm to announce and encourage ppl to go back in line, as “now there is more food available” (in speaking to many ppl, only appetizers were dumped back in the empty trays). It was honestly an emotional meeting but, in the end, I felt that we were able to come to an understanding- that something went horribly wrong with the Royal Palm’s catering/services that night and a lot of ppl did not get to eat. My wife and I, therefore, proposed that we believe the Royal Palm and its owners owe us a restitution for what happened that night. And they agreed.
However, to our disappointment, they e-mailed us to say that they are not responsible for what happened that night. They shifted the blames to some ex "disgruntled employees” and shamelessly came up with the excuse that they only recently became the owners of Royal Palm and had no idea about the catering (They expected us to feel sorry for them!)So anyways, just wanted to update and warn everyone about the kind of people you will be dealing with at Royal Palm. Please choose carefully, especially if it’s an important event.

First and foremost, I DO NOT recommend Royal Palm. I have never felt the need to write an online review before, let alone a negative one. However, I feel obliged to write one this time because no one should spend 20k on a venue/catering and have it be a debacle the way ours turned out to be. My wife and I had our wedding reception at Royal Palm Banquet Hall on the evening of August 25th, 2018. Although the overall venue was spacious and clean, the way the appetizers/dinner were served and managed was an utter disaster. The appetizers were served at 7pm but was quickly shut down by 8pm; many people were sternly turned away for appetizers even though plenty of it were left. The dinner was served in a buffet style but the staff failed to refill the trays. My guests were waiting on the buffet queue for well over an hour for the food and at some point started leaving the line because they thought they ran out of food. The staff, especially Taheya and Shubro, were inattentive, oblivious and nonchalant about the chaos and did little to address it. Needless to say, my family and I were angry and embarrassed by the whole ordeal and DO NOT recommend this place. -

We arranged to have a party for approximately 150 people here. We were shown a cocktail room (between myself and my wife, they showed us this room three times and told us that it was used for cocktail hours). We negotiated a price and were told that the contract would be sent to us the next day. However, when we got the contract, it was over a $1,000 more than we had agreed to. We were told that this was a "prime time" fee because we wanted a Saturday night. It's bad enough that they charge this at all, but even worse that it was added after we had an agreement.
Still, we liked the date we had and did not want to haggle. So, we bit the bullet and signed the contract. Before doing so, though, we asked one of the owners, Sonia, two things: First, if she herself would be overseeing our party. We were told that not only would she be there, but that her cousin Tamin would as well, as would her brother. We also asked that, if possible, we could be the only party there that night, and even offered them cash for this privilege. While Sonia explained that she could not guarantee that we would be the only party, she stated that it was unlikely that another party would be booked, since we were booking an event that was to take place in about a month.
Well, a few days after we signed the contract, my wife went in to go over the invitations. Sonia told her that there was in fact another party that night - but here's the kicker: the party for that night was not something someone had come in and booked, but a party that her husband had decided to give for a friend. Not only that, but Sonia, Tamin, and Sonia's brother would all be guests at that party, despite telling us that they would work our party.
Sonia then told my wife that our "cocktail hour" wouldn't be done in the cocktail room that we were shown, but would be done in the main ballroom - so, basically, it wasn't a cocktail hour at all - just an extra hour of the party. -
