Roundabout catered our wedding of ~ 120 people at the North Lake Tahoe Event Center in June of 2023. The service and food were excellent. We decided on the family-style service, with 3 appetizers and a popcorn bar: apps were beef on toasted bread cracker, the watermelon spoon, and the mushroom arancini; mains of chicken and salmon; and sides of asparagus, squash, and fingerling potatoes; a starter salad and bread was also included. Rick at Roundabout led the event for us. We had a wonderful tasting with Rick at the Roundabout facility in Sparks. Day-of activities went along without an issues. Apps came out on time. Folks RAVED about the salad all night long, which included a beautiful artichoke. The dinner course came out hot, tasty, and with PLENTY of food. Bartenders kept the line moving very well all night. The wait staff was attentive, though faded into the background. Overall, we could not have been happier with the service, the food, and the attention to detail. It's such a relief to have this key aspect of the event go so smoothly. Highly recommend Roundabout and Rick for your event/catering needs in the Reno-Tahoe area!! -

Exceptional from start to finish
The dinner was exquisite, each course was carefully planned with precision, a true work of art & the most delicious.
Throughout the planning process, the roundabout team was well-organized, polite & had incredible attention to detail. I highly recommend Roundabout! -

We had our initial taste test with Roundabout 6 months before our wedding - I had forgotten how amazing all of the food was... and was pleasantly surprised all over again at our wedding! We had passed appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and shrimp cocktail (both were raved about), then the flat iron steak with chimichurri sauce and a chicken with ver blanc sauce for the main course. That was served with fried brussel sprouts with bacon, ratatouille and roasted fingerling potatoes. Our guests all commented on how wonderful the food was!
Working with them from afar, due to living out of state, was a breeze and made everything easy! Everyone we talked with was responsive to every question that we had!
Would 100% recommend! -

My wedding menu was delicious and totally worth it when you consider its all inclusive pricing. Rick was responsive and attended to all my questions. My guests all enjoyed and appreciated the quality food and service. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Afterall what's a party without some tasty food! Even the appetizers were a hit! I cannot thank Roundabout Catering enough for the AMAZING job they did for our wedding. They helped us plan an amazing event all via phone and email and everything was even better than expectations. The food was incredible, we heard over and over again how it was the best food that anyone had at a wedding. (Check out the chimichurri steak and the cedar plank salmon- trust me) The desserts were to die for, and we had them do a small cake for us to cut- it was the best frosting ever! This is all food. I cannot thank the event team enough! They braved the second worst snow storm of the year to give us the most perfect wedding ever. The bartenders had all of our wedding guest laughing from the second they walked in. The wait staff were so friendly and kept us on schedule during the whole event. I cannot say a bad thing about our experience- it was such a great time! Thank you Roundabout- our wedding was perfect because of you!Roundabout Catering's reply:

As a event planner I ALWAYS go to Roundabout as my default option for not only Catering, but event rentals and design help as well. Their staff is incredibly responsive and the integrity they have as a company is something that is hard to find these days.
Their food is AMAZING and I have never eaten any item from them that I wasn't impressed with. The range of food and meals they good is expansive and they are always willing to work with my clients to create their perfect meal.
I can always count on the Roundabout staff to be friendly, handle my guests with the utmost care regardless of the circumstance...and I love how detail focused they all are. They are on time!!
I am SO GRATEFUL to have a company I can so heavily rely on as others rely on me. HIRE THEM! -

Roundabout Catering is amazing. Their services, food, drinks, and rentals are out of this world. They are flexible, friendly, and always ready to help out when ever you need. They are affordable, efficient and personable. My hunny and I were blown away with how exquisite they are/were. -

Best decision we made!
Roundabout did such a fantastic job with our wedding. Our guests have been telling us that the food was the best that they've ever had at a wedding.
During the cocktail hour, we had several passed appetizers as well as a cheese/antipasti table. My favorite appetizer we had was their tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese triangles - so delicious! I enjoyed it so much, I kept finding myself saying, "where's the soup? I want more of the grilled cheese and soup!" Someone overheard me, and one of Roundabout's servers came over to tell me that they had stopped preparing that appetizer in anticipation of dinner, but that she'd go see if she could get some more for me. Minutes later, she came to my table with a full bowl of the soup surrounded by little grilled cheese triangles. I was so happy and definitely had my fill of my favorite part of our menu!!!
We did family style for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. For our vegetarian option, I wanted a pasta that was similar to one that I've had at my favorite restaurant. I told Erin the basic structure of the pasta, and she passed it along to the team and they created the dish solely from that! It was fantastic!
We were so pleased with Roundabout and their staff, and we would highly recommend them to anyone having an event in the Reno/Tahoe area.Roundabout Catering's reply:

Melinda Sent on 07/26/2018Absolutely perfect. From the communication with Erin, to the tasting, to the event staff, it was all wonderful. Erin worked patiently with me while I changed menu options and fretted about what to do with our non traditional 10am beach wedding and lunch reception menu. She was kind and super easy to talk to and chat with at the tasting. We had rave reviews about the selection of food: the freshness of the salad with delicious fruit toppings, the cheesy goodness of the mac n cheese (to die for!) and the lovely dry rub on the steak, people loved it! Christie, day-of event staff, was the sweetest person I have ever met! She helped my mother in law prepare a plate and take it to our grandmother, she refilled water jugs that weren't provided by Roundabout and she mentioned multiple times how beautiful I looked. She was honestly the best part! I would highly recommend Roundabout! -

We met with them with a long time before our wedding, and they were very patient with our questions and changes. Although catering can be the most expensive part of a wedding, we never felt like we were being pressured to spend more than we felt comfortable with. The food options ranged from the traditional favorites to the fun and creative, so it was exciting to customize our menu. On the day of the wedding, the staff was helpful and the food was great! Overall a very positive experience! -

Colin is an expert in his field that guides the novice planner (me) to make an event special. His suggestions are contemporary and fun. The staff were extremely professional and we barely knew they were there. They served everyone with a positive attitude and I felt they had as much fun as we did. Lynn was our coordinator and handled everything with a positive attitude. I loved working with everyone at Roundabout! -

They did all of our food, rental and cake. It was a very easy and simple process. I would recommend them to all off my friends.
