My husband and I had our wedding at Round Barn Farm Bed and Breakfast this past fall and it was nothing short of amazing. The venue is beautiful. The thing our guests said the most about our wedding was about how cool the venue was. Everyone loved the all the space, seating and lighting. The lodging and accommodations are clean, comfortable and picturesque. Wendy and Kirk are outstanding hosts and the friendliest people you will ever meet. They were so amazing to work with leading up to the wedding and the day of. They took the time answer all of my many questions throughout the year at all hours. They were both so supportive and encouraging and we appreciated their guidance and advice. Our wedding was such an amazing experience, and we owe a large part of that to Wendy and Kirk and the Round Barn Farm. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a partially outdoor wedding or even just a cozy place to stay outside of Red Wing.

My husband and I got married here earlier this fall and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! From the moment we first toured the property, we were blown away by its beauty and charm. Not to mention, Kirk and Wendy were the nicest people to work with. They were incredibly responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout the entire planning process and on the day of our wedding. They were truly amazing and helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. We would highly recommend Round Barn Farm! -

My husband and I recently got married at Round Barn Farm and had a 10/10 experience. Kirk and Wendy are so kind and helpful with anything you need through out the planning process and on the wedding day. The venue was perfectly landscaped and beautiful - our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it! The new addition to a second bar location in the lower level of the barn was a great addition to our day. Having access to the beautiful BnB on-site was also a highlight of the day. I would recommend Round Barn Farm to any couple that loves an intimate venue with beautiful views and lovely owners! -

We had the wedding of our dreams at the Round Barn! Every staff member was kind, professional and went above and beyond to make our day special. They made wedding planning easy and they were very organized. The venue itself is stunning and there are so many different areas to enjoy. Our guests continued to compliment the beautiful venue all night! The bed and breakfast is so cozy, historic, and the food was amazing. I could not recommend The Round Barn enough! Thank you Kirk, Wendy, and the round barn staff for such an amazing experience! -

Best Wedding Venue Ever
The Round Barn Farm was the PERFECT wedding venue. The Owners Kirk and Wendy were fantastic. They helped us along every step, provided helpful tips and insights, were involved the perfect amount, and even helped locate some items that we accidentally left at the venue! We got a TON of compliments from guests saying that this was the most beautiful venue that they’ve ever seen. If you’re considering it as an option, it’s definitely worth a visit and I would highly recommend you choose the Round Barn Farm!!!
We also stayed here as guests for the bed and breakfast and had an amazing stay!! The hospitality, cleanliness, food, and entire experience was amazing!! Definitely will be going back. -

We booked the Thursday/Friday package at Round Barn Farm for our August 2022 wedding, and we were so thrilled with our experience. We were able to host our rehearsal and groom's dinner at the venue the night before the wedding, plus my entire bridal party was able to stay on-site that night. We didn't have to travel anywhere to get ready and it saved us so much time, money and hassle. Plus, Kirk and Wendy and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating. Me and the bridesmaids enjoyed the most delicious, fresh scones and parfaits on the morning of the wedding—it was such a great bonus!
Our guests also raved about how beautiful the grounds were, and we wholeheartedly agree!
The cherry on top was being able to stay in the cozy B&B on the night of the wedding, as well. We didn't have to worry about finding transportation at the end of the night and had a relaxing end to the crazy, exciting day. The Thursday/Friday package gives you SO much bang for your buck—and saves you so much stress. Highly recommend the Round Barn Farm!

Our guests keep talking about our wedding! The bluff setting is so beautiful, everyone loves to see the historic barn. Countless compliments on the food. The DJ kept the dance floor full all night. Wendy and Kirk are warm, professional and delightful to work with. It’s such a bonus having the beautifully decorated B&B for the wedding party. We are so happy that our wedding was at Round Barn Event Center. Did I mention that our guests loved coming to historic Red Wing? Oh, and our wedding photos are amazing! So many great backdrops for photos. Don’t hesitate to book your wedding. It will be an amazing day not only for the bride and groom but your guests will love it too! -

A dream come true
The scenic Round Barn Farm is truly the perfect wedding venue nestled in the Mississippi river valley. The wooded bluffs and prairie surround you and your guests with natures beauty. EVERYONE is wowed by the historic Round Barn. From the moment we started planning the wedding at Round Barn Farm, I knew we were in good hands. On our wedding day, Wendy, Kirk and their hard working staff took great care of us. As the bride, it was important to me that not only I felt a sense of peace during the day, but that my mother and family could also be fully present with us and enjoy all the moments of the day. I completely trusted our vendors to make our day amazing and they didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We received so many compliments. Our talented DJ, Greg Ellis, kept the party going and dance floor full all night long. What a bonus to having the charming B&B as part of the venue. The ladies get ready room was inside the B&B. It is a striking space with great light and plenty of mirrors. Our bridal party spent the night at the B&B and got to enjoy the beautifully decorated, spacious and super comfortable rooms. I could write an entire review just telling you about all the stunning backdrops for our wedding photos. We loved our wedding and all our guests loved our wedding. Doesn’t get better than that. We feel so lucky to have chosen such a wonderful venue! -

AWESOME! We Love Round Barn Farm!
We love Round Barn Farm! This venue helped our wedding to run smoothly from planning all the way to the wedding day! It was such a beautiful setting for the ceremony and wonderful to stay at the B&B the night before and the night of the wedding. The barn was just so cool too. We couldn’t recommend it more! -

Overall, the Round Barn Farm was AMAZING for our wedding. They were always responsive as we were planning and sending random questions over the last year. Then on the big day, we had an absolute downpour which they helped us navigate beautifully. Their venue is gorgeous and the owners and venue managers are so friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would have appreciated; we received some super informative emails in the week leading up to the wedding that detailed things such as times that getting ready rooms need to be emptied, etc. I totally understand sending those close to the date as a reminder, but they would have been super helpful in planning/coordinating with the wedding party early on. Other than that, I loved every aspect of having our wedding at The Round Barn Farm. -

This was the venue of our dreams! The backdrop of the forest and surrounding hills is stunning, and the unique buildings, twinkle lights and amenities like new bathrooms, a fire pit and outdoor seating were incredible touches to our special day and all who could be there with us. Kirk & Wendy were beyond gracious hosts to us and our families over the past 4 years of pandemic chaos, and were so patient and understanding in the process of rescheduling our wedding twice due to safety concerns. They went above and beyond to help us feel special on the our official wedding day two years ago when we could not gather with all of our loved ones. We feel so fortunate to have picked Round Barn, and could not be more grateful to their team who helped us make this one of favorite days ever, and one we will never ever forget. Thank you for everything!!! -

Kirk, Wendy and their team were amazing to work with from the start. They were great at communicating and being in touch with us. Our coordinator wanted to go see the venue so they were so flexible with allowing us to come see the venue again to get more ideas for the big day. They were so flexible and helpful and their calm demeanor just made the day feel so relaxing. They felt like friends; so easy to work with and fun people! The venue is stunningly beautiful from the barn to the bed and breakfast. Their hospitality was top notch and we can’t wait to be guests at the bed and breakfast soon! Our guests had so many compliments on the venue - this is a gem! -

The most beautiful venue
We had the most amazing wedding at the Round barn! We chose a fall date so we had the most beautiful colors with the rolling hills and bluffs. Kirk and Wendy are so great to work with. Having a room at the B&B the night of our wedding made the day so special and last a little longer than just one day! Absolute beautiful venue all around. Guests were so impressed with how gorgeous it was and loved how the dancing and dinner spaces were separated (make sure you have a good dj/announcer to avoid confusion when moving spaces). 10/10 recommend the Round barn for your wedding! -

One word - STUNNING. There are so many unique touches and beautiful spaces on this property. Truly a one-of-a-kind venue. We got married here in August and couldn't be happier. Kirk & Wendy are a killer duo who make dreams come true. We received so many compliments on the venue space and had no doubts our guests enjoyed every minute including the ease of having all of the events on one property. The B&B is a reason on it's own to book here, it is so cozy and convenient. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud and every touch is so thoughtful, I look forward our anniversary just to stay here again. -

Thanks to Kirk and Wendy and the staff at the Round Barn, we had the BEST wedding day ever!!!!! It was so perfect. There is so much scenery at their venue. So many different places to get amazing photos. The background at the ceremony site is seriously jaw-dropping. We are so blessed that we were able to celebrate and have our wedding at the Round Barn Farm. The owners Kirk and Wendy were amazing hosts and are such kind people. We loved every second of our wedding day. We had our reception in their pavilion and it was beautiful. We then had our dance in the round barn beneath twinkle lights and it was perfect. I would encourage anyone and everyone to get married here. The amount of people who said how beautiful the place was and how great the property was was a lot! It was amazing. Thank you for the most beautifully perfect day!!! -

Beyond Magical
The Round Barn Farm is everything you could dream of in a wedding venue. It has the majestic river bluff back ground for your ceremony site and a rustic yet elegant space for your reception dinner space and a unique and historic round barn for the second half of your reception and dance. Also the B&B is perfect for getting ready and staying after the party and Kirk and Wendy are wonderful hosts. It is such a beautiful, fun and magical place to have your wedding and it already has so much beauty but you can make it your own. I 20/10 recommend this place. -

So wonderfully welcoming!
Our daughter got married in Red Wing on December 7th. Round Barn doesn’t do winter weddings but it was a wonderful spot to do the first look and lots of pictures. We rented the venue for Friday and Saturday which allowed us basically anywhere for photos😊. Our Pastor, our sons and others had welcoming rooms to stay in and the groomsmen a great spot to get ready in. Kirk and Wendy are wonderful hosts and made all the craziness of wedding day photos
easy to deal with. We can’t wait to see the rest of the photos!! -

Not only were we impressed with this venue the day we saw it, but our guests were blown away by the space! We wanted a location where we could have all parts of the wedding: ceremony, dinner, and dance. Round Barn Farm delivered on all levels. The owners are easy to work with and communicative. The bride and groom (and some of their guests) can also stay right on site at the bed and breakfast. This space was perfect for our vision of our wedding - even the getting ready room is stunning. You won't have to leave the site for photos because there are ample places to take them at the venue. The on-site coordinating team was so wonderful - they help with logistics and take care of security, too. We weren't ready to leave and will definitely be going back to stay at the B&B and reminisce on our special day. Thanks Kirk and Wendy! -

My husband and I got married on 7/14/2019 at the Round Barn. Picking this venue was an easy decision for us. The owners are incredibly kind, easy to work with and professional. Other venues we considered pale in comparison to what the Round Barn offers and delivers. I consider their package all-inclusive as far as venues go—ceremony and reception rentals, arbor, honeymoon night stay, gorgeous outdoor and covered options for rain, fire pit with wood, spray for bugs, security guard, getting ready room for the whole bridal party, reputable vendor relationships, free parking, ample photo opportunities etc. are all included with this venue. Book with the Round Barn! You won’t regret it! My husband and I will be visiting their B & B for years to come :)

I can’t say enough good things about this venue or the wonderful couple that own it. It truly was like out of a fairytale. The venue in itself is so naturally beautiful and has an elegance to it that made our wedding day magical. We had endless compliments from guests about how beautiful the whole grounds were. Not only were the grounds beautiful but the bed and breakfast is gorgeous. I loved how cozy and inviting each space was throughout the entire home. The owners were so accommodating and wonderful to work with as well! Always there for any questions or needs you have and so attentive to making sure everything goes flawlessly. I love that my husband and I can come back and visit where our journey started over and over again. Truly the best thing we did through all the planning was choosing this venue! -

Personalized and full of perfect details!
Having our wedding at the Round Barn Farm B&B was one of our best decisions! We loved how convenient it was to have everything in one place- getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, photos, reception, and even a lovely place to spend the night! Early June made for a GORGEOUS green and flowery venue nestled between the bluffs. Our guests were comfortable during the entire event, the venue staff were attentive, knowledgable and went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our wedding day was exactly what we wanted! I felt like I was their only client as I felt like all of their energy and attention was focused on our big day! The vendors are easy to work with and the place is beautiful as-is so it doesn’t take much effort to host a perfect event in this space! -

Perfect Outdoor Venue!
We had an amazing experience at Round Barn Farm! The hosts were very accommodating and fun. They arranged everything exactly as we hoped and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. The venue itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and this was evident on our wedding day. We had our ceremony, dinner, and reception there which was convenient for guests, and the three different spots all on the same property (grassy area for the ceremony, pavilion for dinner, barn for the dance) kept it interesting. I highly recommend Round Barn Farm to anyone who wants to have a beautiful outdoor wedding! -

The first day we saw the Round Barn property in person, we knew we wanted to be married there. It's absolutely gorgeous. A classy bed and breakfast venue, a rustic touch with the actual barn (so much fun for our dance party), a brand new pavilion (the nicest I've ever seen) which was perfect for our dinner reception. The pavilion is long enough to actual use a section for the cocktail hour and the rest for dinner tables, which are hand made by Kirk, one of the owners of the Round Barn! They are beautiful long wooden tables with wooden chairs. I knew as soon as we booked that I would be able to do all the planning and decorating myself (with some hands from family/friends) because the venue was exactly what I had dreamed of on it's own- it hardly needs any decorating! Even the dinner tables are so gorgeous, they didn't need much at all for centerpieces. We kept it simple- that's all you need to do at the Round Barn, it speaks for itself if you can pay it a visit. One of my favorite things was staying at the B & B after our perfect day. We stayed in the honeymoon suite of course, and then had 4 more rooms to give to our chosen family/friends. We all got to see each other for breakfast and re live the day before, not to mention breakfast was to die for. It was three courses of pure heaven and so good to enjoy that with our parents after such an important day. Kirk and Wendy were fantastic to work with, extremely organized and remembered us every time we met with them though I know they had a lot of weddings happening this year. They are kind, personable, helpful, punctual and professional. They will answer any questions you have usually same day or the next business day. (obviously their weekends are full of weddings) It was amazing to be married at a family owned/family run venue. They truly cared about each detail and were there with us every step of the way, that's hard to find! Wendy even walked with me and my Dad when ceremony time came around, to show us a path where the groom wouldn't see me coming until appropriate. They have family helping out with set up and tear down, they hire a security guard for every wedding which was surprisingly comforting! I'd recommend them to everyone I know, even if you don't marry here, go stay at their B & B! They make an AMAZING breakfast, and their themed rooms are each in their own way just beautifully thought out and executed. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Leading up to the day, they were always available to answer any questions, and day of, all of their hard work to continually make this venue a beautiful celebration location came through. You can tell they have a true passion for exactly what they're doing, which makes them wonderful to work with.
This venue is breathtakingly beautiful. We got so many comments from so many of our guests that this was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. And as the bride, having the beautiful Bridal get ready room on site, along with rooms to stay overnight in, made us able to spend the most amount of time with loved ones, since all the day's festivities were all in one place. -

Kendall Sent on 09/28/2017I grew up just a few miles from the Round Barn and knew I wanted to share the beauty of the area with all of our friends and family. Unfortunately, the previous owners had stopped holding weddings there - plus, in its former state it wasn't really what we were looking for. Lucky for us, Kirk and Wendy have really turned it around! First off, the bridal suite and B&B is included, which is fantastic for getting ready (and for sleeping that night). The bridal suite has 3 large mirrors, couches, plenty of room for drinks and dresses, and a chandelier! I had 9 bridesmaids, 1 personal attendant, my mom, a hair stylist, makeup artist, and myself in the room all day and we were perfectly comfortable. The ceremony site is breathtaking, as you can see from the photos, with the beautiful Mississippi River Valley behind and bluffs for miles. The lawn is a perfect location for cocktails, and photos with lots of large trees and flowers. The chandelier and Edison-Bulb-lit pavilion for dinner was an absolute must on our 98 degree (with 75% humidity) day; thank the Lord there are ceiling fans in there. We had a bar, our dessert table, gift area, and 2 buffet lines, as well as seating for 275 guests and our head table. It's a big pavilion! We made half of the barn a seating area for guests who didn't want to dance but wanted to enjoy the festivities, while the other side was a heck of a dance floor. Outside the back of the barn is a great area for popping up an additional bar and hosts a fire pit. It was a magical night - thank you for helping bring our dreams to life, Round Barn!! Baartman Wedding June 2019
Round Barn Farm will hold a special place in mine and my husbands hearts forever. Kirk and Wendy were so responsive leading up to the wedding and over delivered on the day of wedding. They were calm and collective the day of which is exactly what a brides needs. Overall beautiful wedding venue, we received so many compliments from our guest on our venue selection.
