    Perfect Intimate Wedding

The Mansion was absolutely the perfect venue for our intimate wedding celebration. Ashlie was so lovely - she was responsive, professional, and just put me at ease right away. The day of our wedding, the whole Mansion team was superb - the space was beautiful, the food was delicious, the cake was exactly what I wanted, and the staff was so attentive. I would highly recommend the Mansion for your wedding (big or small)!

    Best Experience in the World

Jordan, our wedding planner at Rosewood, has gone above and beyond in every aspect! I’ve asked a million questions and we had some changes, yet he rolled with the punches with the kindest heart and biggest smile. He is TALENTED, DETAIL ORIENTED, and such a KIND individual! I can’t express this enough! He made our wedding literally a dream come true! We chose to use the garden for our intimate ceremony and use the Promenade room for the reception. It’s truly a breathtaking hotel with the best wedding coordinator in the world!!!

The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek was the most perfect venue you could imagine. There are not enough characters in this text block to allow me to express how perfectly pleased we were with everything about this place. We worked with Ashlie Lynch for our event, and Arianna Johnson for our guest rooms. They were unbelievably professional and accommodating with the warmest and most wonderful personalities. The property is incredibly managed, the room service, bellmen front desk and parking staff are dear people who treated us like old friends from the moment we and our guests arrived I have never had a more positive experience with an event in my life. The food was delicious, the pastry chef accommodated our untraditional wishes on our sweets table, the bar tenders and food service attendants were so nice. We used their suggested vendors and has the most seamless and well integrated ceremony and party ever! I have three daughters and a son- two are now married-- but I pray the remaining two will choose the Mansion for their special day. Truly there is no more perfect venue for an intimate and magical evening! This place is lovely in every way!

The Mansion on Turtle Creek was where we held our reception for 100 people. The night was truly spectacular with amazing food and fun for all. The staff was so professional and executed every detail perfectly. It was a magical night, to truly remember. Now for the value of doing it at the Mansion. My fiance was very leery of having our event at the Mansion on Turtle Creek, until he saw it in person for the first time. Beautiful surroundings, professional and friendly staff, not at all stuffy like he thought it would be. The package we got included our cake, bridal luncheon and our Bridal suite for the night of the wedding, all at no additional cost. When you factor in the price of a cake, (5 layers) the bridal luncheon with wine, and the bridal suite, we saved around $3,000.00, that we would have otherwise spent. They also offered 6 month gym membership at the Crescent hotel, (another Rosewood property) and a percentage off of your wedding dress at Stanley Korshak (I think 15% but may have been 10%) I didn't use them for my dress, as I wanted a vendor that they didn't sell at Korshak. Finally the professionalism and dedication of their staff and especially the head of catering and events, Jessica, are truly unparalleled in the industry. It was like I had a wedding planner, with out hiring one for my event (another savings). I sincerely can not recommend them enough. It was such a wonderful weekend for all our out of town guests, as well as for us!

The team at the Mansion was amazing, the wedding went off without a hitch and I am so happy we picked this place. It's beautiful and we couldn't be happier. Take note, the manager Julian will sell you on the idea and then hand you over to another wedding coordinator. This part was not discussed and was a bit disappointing as it seems our wedding coordinator was not as excited about our wedding as we'd hoped; however, the room and other support staff stepped up and in and it turned out phenomenally.

The Mansion was just a perfect venue. Emily was lovely to work with, the hotel and catering staff were so accommodating to us and our guests. The food was beyond delicious, everything we asked for was handled immediately. We had about 100 guests at our reception and it was a perfect size for the space. I am so, so happy that we chose this venue for our ceremony and reception, and I would recommend it to anyone!! We knew the service would be top notch for our guests, but it was also extremely great to have such fab service on my wedding weekend. I stayed there the night before the wedding, we also had my bridal lunch at Mansion - every person I encountered was friendly and willing to help make it a wonderful weekend. I can't say enough about the Mansion!!

What can I say? The Mansion is top-notch. The service, the food, the venue - everything was excellent.

Shelley was our catering director and every time we came to see her at the mansion she was already waiting in the driveway when we arrived. She gave us lots of advice and help during the planning stages - we really appreciated her suggestions! At the event, everything was orchestrated perfectly. She and her staff made sure everything was right. The head waiter always seemed to be right there when I needed to ask for anything. He checked with me before seating for dinner to see if we were ready (we wanted a few more minutes to mingle!). I loved how the servers would bring the entrees out and all serve an entire table at one time (instead of one plate at a time)

The food - well, the food was to die for! We had the tortilla soup, lobster ravioli, and filet mignon. All of it was spectacular. The filet was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And the relatives are still talking about the lobster ravioli. We had some kids in our party and the Mansion made kid-friendly meals for them - the same number of courses as our meal.

Everything went wonderfully at the reception. We had the Shepherd-King suite, above the restaurant, not the ballroom. We had 45 guests and wanted only dinner & cake, no dancing. We wanted to feel like we were hosting an elegant dinner party, not a big reception. The room we had was perfect! It has a beautiful balcony that our guests could walk out onto before dinner to enjoy their wine and champagne. I would definitely recommend that room for a small reception.

One of the best things about having the reception at the Mansion was that they gave us a room for the night (complimentary). When we went upstairs at the end of the evening, were stunned to realize that they gave us a suite! It was a wonderful surprise. (The suite we had was so large it had a grand piano in it!) We had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room when we arrived. It was an absolutely amazing night!

I would definitely recommend the Mansion to anyone who wants a truly elegant wedding reception! I cannot imagine a better place!

The venue in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands is amazing; almost what you would envision for the Garden of Eden. I have no regrets.

First off this is for the Rosewood in Menlo Park (I think they have several other locations with the same or similar names), Now, to really give a good and fair review I need to break it down:
    1. Food (including the our cake) was AMAZING. So good, perfect and exactly what we wanted.
    2. Wedding coordinator - not good at all but quit and the person who took over is wonderful
    3. Venue - beautiful and the staff are so kind, helpful, and attentive

All of you guests had a wonderful time and just loved the Rosewood. So happy we picked the Rosewood for our wedding.

    We loved it here!

The location and ambience is amazing-- think cozy/ fancy, similar to Napa! We chose this venue for good food, scenery, location. I did my bridal portraits here too and they were amazing, so many types of rooms and styles to take pics in! We liked having a venue with pretty architecture so we didn't have to decorate a ton with floral. However, there were lots of red flags for the price vs quality. Ashlie Lynch, the on site coordinator is unhelpful. If you have a separate wedding planner, make sure you do most of your communication through her (not Ashlie). I would borderline say Ashlie is unprofessional. She asked us no less than 5 times to allow her friend to put up a tent on the ceremony lawn the day of our wedding, so her friend could have the tent set up for a holiday party on Sunday. We paid 5K for the lawn space, and to have a tent set up in front of the iconic arches and steps would take away from the ceremony. When I asked if we could try the soup on the tasting day, she said that would cost extra (a cup of soup vs allowing her friend to set up a tent on the lawn we rented months in advance-- she's just not flexible for the couple and this was an example where she had her own interests in mind). Ashlie has no interest of the couples' wishes on their wedding day, so that's why your own wedding planner could make sure things get done properly (had I known this I would've been more on top of things and asking my planner to double check, but you assume when you ask for something specific at this price point, it's no problem). We chose a premium bar package, and asked for the groom's drink (old fashioned) to come with luxardo cherries and an orange peel. They mass produced the cocktail and it looked like a Shirley temple (even our wedding planner said the OF looked oddly pink) and had the hot pink, cheap miraschino cherries. Not a big deal, we didn't say anything the day of bc you can't change it, but just an example of how they will short cut every angle even though you are paying luxury prices! Another example is valet. We had a majority of our out of town guests at a different hotel and provided private bus transportation. Ashlie still over estimated the amount of cars in valet by double and would not change it (stating that it's the total amount of guests, not per car... seems an odd way to charge for valet). I would have your planner try to get that number readjusted. We chose a different cake vendor (Lauren's fancy cakes) bc their pastry chef was not flexible on icing/style/flavor of cakes (it was very bland, they made another variation which we tried but still didn't taste like good cake). We were not impressed by their cake at all during the tasting (it's whipped icing, not sweet at all). The day of the wedding was fun, we liked how we could use the lawn for the ceremony, the upstairs bar for cocktail hour and the promenade/ballroom for reception-- all 3 changes of scenery in 1 location! I only write specific issues in my review to make another couples experience better. I would do it over again at The Mansion, it was beautiful and our guests loved it. And I'm sure there are more type A brides than me willing to fight the fights to make sure their day is perfect and not get bamboozled by Ashlie. I honestly do feel like we paid for services we didn't receive. But overall, I love that this was the place we got married, our pictures look amazing, the food was delicious, the wait staff was attentive and fun, you can't even tell you're in downtown Dallas!

The Mansion double booked our space 2 weeks before the wedding, tried to hide it and then lied about it. They also completely messed up my bridal shower and would not return phone calls and emails. Then after all this there was no discount, no apology from the catering director who was not very nice and didn't even show to the reception. It was a huge disappointment and way overpriced. This is NOT a 5 diamond property.
