Gorgeous wedding flowers!

Althea is a floral magician! She created absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements that captured everything I wanted and then some! She is an amazing artist! I am going to post pictures so you can see for yourself, but I also want to point out how professional the Rose of Sharon team is from video calls to working within a budget. I wanted a less traditional look for my wedding, and she made it magical! They even picked up our cake for us!

Best Wedding Florist in NWA!

Rose of Sharon not only helped me figure out my vision for my wedding flowers, they worked with me to develop a color palette that I used throughout the whole event. Althea was beyond professional and listened to everything that my fiancé and I were imagining and made those ideas become a reality. The day of the wedding, Katie spent time making sure everything was how we intended. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and so much prettier than I could have imagined. Thank you for all the recommendations from the wooden arbor to the rented ferns! Even with a smaller floral budget, they made our simplistic dreams a beautiful reality.

Everything was beautiful and exactly what I wanted!

Althea made me absolutely GORGEOUS bouquets that were exactly what I wanted on my very limited budget! Her suggestions for centerpieces and other décor were awesome, and everything she made me was beautiful! And she’s very tech savvy and was able to quickly and easily work with me even though I was 5 hours away and wasn’t ever able to meet her in person! Our wedding was in a semi-remote location, so we picked everything up, and Althea was flexible for our pickup and made everything super easy to transport! Thank you Althea! You were amazing, and we loved everything!

Rose of Sharon knocked it out of the park! The flowers for my daughter’s wedding were stunning! The garland down the family table really made a statement and the arrangements on the head table where showstoppers all bouquets were beautiful, especially the brides Althea was very professional and there were no surprises regarding prices and the final bill.

#2...the website and process of hiring them was so simple! The site will give you ideas of what you want and Althea sends you sample images so you always know if your visions are aligned :)

I am a native New Yorker who decided to plan a small wedding in Arkansas with nothing but Google and a prayer to help me through. I came upon Rose of Sharon, went through Althea's portfolio, and contacted her immediately. I didn't bother looking at other places!

I ordered the bare minimum a wedding could have with florals: bouquet, boutonniere, hair piece, and a garland for our reception table. She always made me feel like I was her only client. She responded to all my emails and answered every dumb question I had (and I had a lot of them). She even coordinated with my mother-in-law and effortlessly worked between us as we bounced a million and a half ideas around with her. We also changed our minds constantly, and Althea was always there ready to roll with the punches.

I gave her two, maybe three, pictures to work off of, and from that she created the most beautiful items for my wedding. Everything tied in together without looking overly matchy or formulaic. Every piece was gorgeous alone, they all worked harmoniously together, and I was taken aback by how she was able to turn my vision into reality. I was so in love with my bouquet that I carried it all the way back to New York with me.

If there is anything piece of advice I can give besides hiring Althea as your florist, it would be to get a floral/eucalyptus garland because the one she made for me was TO DIE FOR. I wish I could've saved that one too but since it was 30ft+ there was no way I could stuff it in my carry on. All my guests thought it was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen and it was the perfect mood setter for our low key, southern, rustic wedding. Thank you Althea!

Outstanding! Rose of Sharon and Althea are one of the aspects of our wedding that I am the most happy with. The flowers were absolutely breathtaking. When I met with Althea for our consultation, I felt like she completely understood my vision and what I was looking for, and when I saw the finished product this was 100% confirmed. We can't stop getting compliments on how gorgeous the flowers were!

In addition to the impeccable quality, another thing I liked about Althea was that I genuinely never felt like she was trying to sell me above and beyond what I was looking for or what I wanted to spend. She was extremely upfront about how much things cost, what kinds of things cost more or less, and how we could make adjustments to make sure I was able to stay within my budget. She even has an entire section of her website explaining different costs associated with flowers, which flowers tend to be more expensive, as well as various other helpful info related to wedding flowers. It was so lovely to deal with a wedding vendor who was so transparent and straightforward, and genuinely trying to be helpful.

Lastly, as she was working on our flowers in the days leading up to the wedding, Althea texted me a few pictures of the flowers coming together, both to give me a sneak peek and also to ask about a couple final tweaks. This was a really nice touch - not only was I so excited to see how absolutely perfect they were looking, but I was also so impressed at yet another way that Althea was so upfront and going above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

I should also mention that my wedding was on Mother's Day weekend, which I am pretty sure is the most busy holiday of the year for florists. So not only was everything perfect, it was perfect during what is probably her super bowl. I sincerely just can't say enough about how happy I was with Rose of Sharon, and I will absolutely be recommending Althea and her team to all my friends and family!!!

Amazing! We were able to plan everything from another state, and did everything over phone/email. The flowers came out looking EXACTLY like what we wanted. The price was also excellent.

The Rose of Sharon Floral Designs is outstanding in every respect. It was my daughter's wedding in Fayetteville, Arkansas, September 2015 . I am a flower junkie, but my daughter doesn't quite share my level of enthusiasm. And to add even more complications to what is normally a complicated event, we were from out of state. So, everything (except for the initial consultation) was done via email or telephone. As we progressed and as the wedding got closer, all my fears were dispelled. Truly, it was a very positive experience throughout the entire decor planning and execution process because Althea's responses were timely, pertinent to the subject, she addressed each and every concern, was always professional and caring, and was extremely pleasant at all times. Her contract was very professional and crystal clear. She was truly a joy to work with and made so many great suggestions as she artfully created our vision for the wedding. Also, Althea was very respectful of our budget at all times.
I will happily say that what she created for the wedding was absolutely incredible and exactly what we had envisioned. The bride was completely thrilled and delighted and the flowers were so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. Althea demonstrated her magic with flowers and her incredible artistry at my dear daughter's wedding and made the wedding breathtaking at The Pratt Place Barn in Arkansas. I very highly recommend Althea of The Rose of Sharon Floral Designs. She is a top notch floral designer who can design and create The Spectacular for a bride at any budget.

Althea and her team were absolutely amazing. She worked with us on our budget and found how to meet our wants and desires for our wedding day florals within a comfortable budget! They were beautiful flowers and we couldn't have had a better florist for our perfect day! Working with Althea and Rose of Sharon was wonderful! Althea makes a Pinterest board based on your vision to make sure you're both on the same page and then delivers a product more beautiful than you could have imagined! She was great at working within our budget to still create the vision I wanted and texted me photos of the ceremony arrangement, since she knew I wouldn't see it until I was walking down the aisle. I also ordered some greenery in bulk for making my own arrangements and the price and quality was unbeatable.

Althea was an absolute angel! She worked with our small budget and created gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres for us. Our budget was so small that all the bridal party's bouquets doubled as centerpieces at our reception. The flowers were arranged beautifully, and Althea worked hard to make sure I was happy with them. We changed our minds several times and continually added things to the order (like when my mother-in-law decided she needed boutonnieres and corsages for the groom's whole large family a few weeks before the wedding). I will tell all my friends getting married in the Arkansas area to go to Althea for their wedding flowers. She was a gem and I just adored the floral arrangements she made.

Althea at Rose of Sharon was the perfect example of how a wedding vendor should work. We had an initial meeting to discuss what I was looking for, and she quickly followed up with details and pricing. We worked on this via email (since I was living in another state at the time) until I was satisfied. She followed up with me regularly and especially the week before to make sure we were all set and if I needed any changes. When I did need to add some centerpieces and a boutonniere, she did so with no problem. The end result of my floral arrangements and bouquets was fabulous! I loved them and they were exactly as ordered. She even sent me pictures as she made them which was really great. I would highly recommend using her for your wedding!

Rose of Sharon was the best vendor I had for my wedding, mostly because of Althea W. I came to her 1 month before my wedding after another florist canceled on me. She was very helpful and patient. I didn't know exactly what I wanted for the bouquets or centerpieces and she helped me come up with ideas that fit my budget. After I had a few days to think about our floral arrangement ideas, I told her its not exactly where I needed it to be so she helped with more ideas that were bigger, better and fit the reception hall as it was a huge dark room. They were more dramatic, which I wanted, and still fit the budget I needed. Don't waste your time with other florists who are hard to reach, over priced, and even some with no creativity. I consulted with 3 other florists and Rose of Sharon really pulled through for me.

Rose of Sharon provided the flowers for my wedding and they were wonderful! They worked with us to meet our budget but still get the overall look we were going for. They delivered the flowers on time and placed all special flowers (bridal bouquets, ceremony flowers and boutonnieres) in the different locations there were needed.

Rose of Sharon did an amazing job on my wedding flowers and decor! I enjoyed working with Althea- she's very professional and always responded to my e-mails in a timely manner. Althea really understood my vision for the wedding. I loved how she created a pintrest page that allowed both of us to pin images of flowers and decor that related to the overall theme of the wedding. This was a great communication tool and a great way to make sure we were on the same page at all times. I cannot stop talking about how amazing Althea and Rose of Sharon were for our wedding. I went to my first appointment with a bunch of ideas and no direction and ended up with the flowers of my dream at the wedding. We had quite a few changes in the days before the wedding but she was totally accomadating and able to make it all happen. I have recommended her to every new bride to be that I personally know. Althea was wonderful to work with! I went into our appointment knowing very little about flowers, but after just a few minutes she knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We had a pretty tight budget and somehow she made everything work without me having to give anything up. Honestly it was the easiest part of the wedding planning! Everything was so beautiful and perfect, I couldn't have been happier!

The flowers and arrangements at our wedding were just perfection! I feel like Rose of Sharon knew exactly what we wanted and what would just accent a beautiful location to begin with. I enjoyed the flowers from the reception tables for a few weeks after the wedding too! Overall, they could not have done a better job.

Althea was great - we had a very extensive initial meeting where we went through lots of likes and dislikes, and we felt like she really "got" us and what we wanted. After that, she was very involved through the whole process - flexible with different price points, pinning ideas she thought we would like, coming to site visits. The whole experience was great!!

When we first had out consult with Althea I really didn't have any idea of what type of flowers I wanted excepted gerber daisies. So my fiancé and I sat down and bookmarked the different styles that we liked from the different arrangement Rose of Sharon has done. From the they were able to help us establish the style we were going for to help create the mood of our wedding. After that we were given three different price ranges from highest to lowest with detailed descriptions on what each one entailed. From that we were able to customize from the three packages creating the best package for us. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them!

I cannot brag enough about Rose of Sharon, Event Florists!!! 5 Stars is not enough!!! Althea is the most professional, courtious, prompt, helpful and talented florist that I've worked with. We live out of state, so we chose our flowers through thier web site, which offered many styles. The arrangement, bouquets and everything was equal to the quality, style and look shown on thier web site. The arrangements made our ceremony look and feel special and everyone commented on them.
Aletha also went over and above by making an extra boutineer for someone she thought needed one, plus delivering delivering candles back to the reception that we forgot. I'll recommend Rose of Sharon, Event Florists to anyone needing thier services for any occasion.

Thea worked with us from day one we met her at a Bridal Fair. She knew our budget and helped us with ideas and flowers that would work with our funds. She was always prompt to return emails, calls, answer questions in an EXTREMELY timely manner. Her orgainization of her bids and pricing info was excellent and we always knew where we were on flowers - never any guessing. I would highly recommend her to any brides. We talked to 3 different florists, got bids, ideas etc. The other 2 did not compare to what she offered. We were a little worried since the shop seemed small - but that was nothing to worry about at all. She came through with beautiful flowers that day !

I couldnt have asked for better florist. You guys did a really good job and I will for sure be coming back to you guys for any future needs. The flowers were more beautiful than I could have imagined! You made me feel comfortable during our meeting and when I emailed any questions the response was very fast. Thea at Rose of Sharon was awesome. The flowers were beautiful and she was very helpful and resourceful. She helped me by giving contacts of caterers, bakers and even the Justice of the Peace that preformed the ceremony. I could not have had a better experience or had such an amazing wedding without her! Thank you Thea!

Thea and her team were amazing to work with and her work was stunning! I made several changes throughout the planning process and she was very willing to listen to my ideas and make the changes I requested. I told her an idea of what I wanted for my centerpieces and they turned out exactly how I imagined them. Rose of Sharon is an EXCEPTIONAL deal and great value for the money. Thea and her team were wonderful! Thea is very helpful and full of ideas that are cost effective to the bride even if it means less profit for her, she was very aware of what look and feel i wanted for my wedding and the flowers were more than perfect. Thea is absolutely wonderful! Besides doing a positively gorgeous job with the flowers, she was a dream to work with regarding alternatives, etc. She even helped me tweak some of my buffet displays (which I had arranged myself with her great DIY options). Flowers and decor were one of the most important things for me when envisioning my wedding. I had a specific atmosphere I wanted but not a good vision on how to achieve it. I showed Althea some random pictures I had collected and within 15 minutes of talking about what I liked or didn't like in each picture she had my vision figured out! Everything looked amazing the day of and it was great to get some preview pictures sent to me the day before and morning of as she assembled everything. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Gorgeous!!!

Excellent service, beautiful arrangements, exactly what I requested, but with an even more beautiful designer touch. This florist communicated so well and documented all conversations and financial arrangements via prompt email response. She gave personal attention to the details and obviously listened with interest when discussing the arrangements and look that I desired. I have years of experience organizing equestrian, corporate and non-profit events which always include the use of professional floral service, with that experience as my guide, I would rate this vendor as the best I\'ve ever done business with. What also sets her apart in this area - I had a very small elopement ceremony, but wanted some traditional must haves like bouquet & alter flowers - and she did not try to hard sell or \"wedding\" upcharge a thing.

Althea was very creative with our arrangements - both the personal flowers and the table arrangements for the reception. We were absolutely thrilled with how the flowers turned out. Everyone was complimenting how beautiful everything looked. Additionally, Althea took it upon herself to step in and help out when she saw a problem with the tablecloths which were provided by a different vendor. It helped put my mind at ease knowing I had someone with such a keen eye looking out for me! I really appreciated all her help in making our special day both beautiful and memorable.

I didn't realise until after the event how invaluable Thea was to me on the day of the wedding: that's because I didn't have to worry about her doing her job at all! I saw her just at one point in the midst of frantic getting ready, as she popped her head in to the dressing room to deliver mine and bridal party flowers. Behind the scenes, in the chapel and reception area she was organising all floral arrangements, cake flowers and boutonnieres for all groomsmen and family, doing so with skill, unobtrusiveness and professionalism, as my family passed on to me later. She took special care not to put pressure on me or my family as she did her job, which I now realise was so important.
During the process, as I arranged my wedding from overseas, she was quick to respond and collaborate over email, and changed the look of my flowers as I changed my mind in developing my wedding style, all the time sticking to my budget, adjusting and suggesting what could be done.
She was a lovely lady to work with and I trusted her completely. That trust is worth paying for on your wedding day.

Rose of Sharon provided creative ideas, constant communication and brainstorming, flexibility during planning to fit my changing direction and budget constraints, and most importantly, beautiful, stress-free execution. Althea was the perfect consultant during planning and so much fun to work with! She lead a flower design class for my bridesmaids to help them make their own unique bouquet for the ceremony. Rose of Sharon was More than I ever could've expected in ordering flowers for my wedding. Althea was wonderful to work with! Flowers are an expensive part to a wedding. However, she listened to our wants and asked questions to make sure we got exactly what we had envisioned within our price range. It was beautiful! The huge part we loved about Rose of Sharon was their flexibility! Our number of RSVP's more than doubled from what we had originally planned just a few weeks before the wedding, and they made it work! She kept my stress down and gave me everything I dreamed of! Althea with the Rose of Sharon is the super mom of event florists and is simply awesome! We couldn't be happier!
